Very clear with instructions. Be prepared to write a few speeches, and work with others.

She's direct at first, but once you approach her--her genuine loving nature really shows. Do not hesitate to go to her for guidance with projects. She will tell you verbatim what to do. She will go above and beyond to teach you and guide you. Be prepared to put in some time and effort. This class will give you confidence and truly usable skills.

Anyone who does not love Linda Dulin is crazy. This is the kindest woman and best teacher I have ever had in my life. She has high expectations of everyone, even after they take her courses.

I took her in Interpersonal Communication online. She is so helpful, very clear with her instructions, and overall a very nice lady who wants her students to succeed in her class! There are some big papers and quite a bit of work, but the assignments are actually pretty interesting and she grades fairly easy. I HIGHLY recommend her!

I disagree with the last two comments about Dr. Dulin. These people are crazy! First, there is nothing in this class that would be cassified as liberal or conservative. Yes, you have to write. It is college, duh! She was an outstanding professor. I highly recommend her unless you are totally into having a blow off prof. She has high standards.

I had Dr. Dulin last semester for her online speech course. I don't know what you guys are talking about. The class had absolutely nothing political and she said nothing political. It was a very good course on interpersonal comm. Sounds like you are lousy students trying to make excuses. One of the best profs I have ever had. The best online prof.

People did gripe about her standards. they get made cause this online class isn't easy. LOL. It really isn't that hard but you gotta care about yoru education.

I really liked this class and wish I could have had Dr. Dulin in the classroom and not online. It was one of the most valuable classes I have had because I will be in the nursing program this fall. I read some of the comments about political agendas and such. I have no idea what these people are talking about. There was nothing like that.

I loved this class. Dr. D was a great prof. Liberal slant? People who say that don't understand what the course is. You deal with diversity and intercultural communication among other things. Waco is pretty redneck, so figure it out.I learned so much!

I worked hard and earned my grade. this was a great class and I will use what I learned. Dr. D is a wonderful and caring teacher. She's a little scary at first but that is just her style. Don't let her fool you.

Best online class I've taken. It wasn't easy, but if you work hard you can make a good great. She actually gives you assignments where you have to apply what you have learned. She is very good at communicating with you and is pretty funny. Information I've learned in this class I will use.

Go to class. She's funny. She's sarcastic but in a good way. Dr. D will help you but you have to work. This was a really good class but not easy. From everything I hear, she's the best instructor but the toughest.

I don't get the political comments. I never hear politics discussed in class. I don't think people get that social issues (ex:diversity) are part of interpersonal. Dang, people, these are topics in the text. Are you pissed b/c you flunked? lol I really learned so much from this class.

I really liked the course. I don't understand why people are upset that diversity was a unit in the course. It was in the text. So what? I studied hard, asked for feedback, got an A. I learned skills that will be useful, including more about diversity. LOL

I loved Dr. Dulin but she will not baby you. You are not in HS anymore. Her tests are very difficult but she will give you feedback on your assignments.

I just finished the minimester with a B. I am kissing the ground. That was a tough course to take in two weeks. However, I really recommend Dr. dulin. She was quite an encourager. She told us the guys who got Osama Bin Laden were wimps next to us (taking a mini)...lol. Bet she's great in a f2f class. I learned some good stuff. Highly recommend

I took Business/ Professional speaking with Dr. Dulin. She is very hard. If you go and talk to her she is very sweet though and she will help you do the best in the class. She isn't one to give A's away but she will reward you for your effort. I recommend her but she is challenging.

Honestly one of the best professors you can take. No nonsense attitude towards laziness and procrastination. She expects you to act like the adult you are and take care of business. She will not hold your hand. In my experience, she has always helped students who desperately need the assistance and not those who simply sit on their butts.

I took her for Summer 1, and it was A LOT of work! Homework can be tough, but she is very clear on her expectations, and she will always lend a hand if you put forth the effort. You MUST read the book to pass. Test can be tricky. My work ethic and time management increased so much with this class. She is great professor, I highly recommend her!

Dr. Dulin is a great professor, however it is required that you participate and do all projects or you won't pass. It is actually pretty easy. You will have to get out of your comfort zone for presentations though. I will say this I'm a quite and shy person and passed with a B all you have to do is participate.

She takes the time to explain every assignment piece by piece. You really only have three major assignments and two quizzes for your grade though. More of an old-school style teacher.- no phones, no talking while teacher is talking, no excuses, late work, etc. She holds you to a high standard, but is willing to help you if you ask.
