Ms. Freeman is very helpful. She basically spoonfeeds you what will be on the test directly from her lecture notes. She's also very entertaining so it's not easy to fall asleep in her class. Just don't miss her papers or any test dates. She doesn't B.S. around.

In our class, you didnt have to take the final if you had perfect attendance. I would definatly take her again! Likes things to be brief and to the point. Very spontaneous professor and lots of fun. She gets the class involved with a lot of hands-on activities and group questions. Not only does her subject matter pertain to psychology as a class, she refers to modern matters to make her lectures more memorable. You take a total of 3 tests but the third one is the final exam. You do 2 one page papers and they are the easiest papers i have ever written and they are interesting topics. All she does is lecture on powerpoint and as long as you just copy all of the notes and study them, you will no doubt get an A on the test. Very highly recommended!! :)

Oh yes, and I forgot. DO NOT BUY THE TEXTBOOK. I have never even opened it up and I still have recieved an A in the class. As long as you write the notes down, you don't need the book. AND, you can only miss 2 classes!!

Mrs. Freeman lectures in class and will answer any question you have. The tests are not that difficult and the papers that you write are not too long. She went through eye surgery while teaching our class and she still kept up with a great teaching standard. She even bought us pizza at the end of the semester,out of her own pocket!

Class is fun & interesting, but not b/c of her, b/c Psychology is a fun subject. She's easy but thinks her class is the most important & hardest in the world. Attendace is mandatory. Mostly lectures/note taking. You have 2 tests, 2 papers, & a final. Very EASY A if you do what your suppose to. If you fail, you may be borderline mentally retarded.

Have you ever had one of those professors where it was impossible to get an A but extremely easy to get a B? Yeah this is one of those types of professors, she never tells you your grade so you never know what your average is until the end. 2 Papers. 2 Exams and a final. She doesn't like telling you your grade or why you got a certain grade.

Linda Freeman is amazing and she's beautiful. Her tests were kinda tough though, lectures were fun and she was a nice lady and easy to get along with. I'll give her a B for the class overall. But an A+++++++ in looks ;)

She is great at her lectures, so you think you don't have to do the assigned readings. Don't let that fool you.... Read before the class, and take notes during her lectures and you can get an A. Also go to the writing center to check the grammar on your paper's ... You can skip the final if you make it to every class! I loved her class!

She was very helpful and made sure everyone understood what was being taught before she moved on. It took her a while to learn my name but she is an awesome gal. She is fun and makes jokes with the class but don't call her out on something such as a spelling error because she may hold it against you and you may become the brunt of her jokes lol

Fun, fun class. She uses a lot of visual aides like powere points and videos. Lots of discussion which makes it easier to remember. I highly reccomend taking her classes!

Currently taking this class online and its great. She's clear with her instructions and its fairly easy. There's only about 3 exams and if you do the Learnsmart questions it's easy. Taking Positive Psychology online. So far great class. Very different from any other class i've taken. Lectures are organized (having an ipod download of lecture is awesome) and lessons are clear. I really liked the origanization of the class. Easy to find things. Great as a first class to take online. I would defintely take this professor again.

Unique class. Final is doing a giant good deed in a group project that you work on all semester. Tons of lengthy reflection papers but all you do is write about yourself. Tests are a little tough but if you memorize you're good. Entertaining but a little different with lots of meditation and self evaluation. She is not shy to call you up front

I took her Flex Hybrid Class and it was so easy. There were only 3 tests including the final, which all were online. We had a whole week to complete the assignments and they were due on Mondays nights. Sometimes you have to do your own reading since its a flex class and she goes fast. The learnsmarts are a little bit long but they are easy points.

This professor is fantastic! She actually records her lectures so you can listen to them online AND she provides notes and a powerpoint to follow along to. Mind your reflections, she reads them and grades them seriously. You HAVE to read/listen to the lectures to ace the quizzes. She always reminds you of assignments. I LOVED the subject matter!

Super cool teacher for Abnormal Psychology. I took her for a hybrid course. She is really interesting. Got good stories. Assignments are interesting. I'd recommend her class.

I'm in her hybrid abnormal psych class, and I love her, i wish it was a full time in class class, but oh well. Shes really sweet & makes sure we understand the lectures each class. She responds really fast on blackboard/atlas if you have any questions.

Dr. Freeman is a very chill professor, but be ready to not really learn a lot. I took her for positive psych and her lectures were more about class discussing feelings about certain topics, instead of the things that are on the exams. The class itself isn't hard, but just study a lot for the exams and be ready for a huge group project.

I took the accelerated course so we had a lot of papers due weekly but I learned a lot about myself through her assignments. We had no tests in her class but the quizzes were a bit tough if you didn't read the book. I took her online and she always replied to emails within a day. Overall I loved her so much that I'm taking her again next semester.

AWESOME GENERAL Psychology teacher. makes the class SUPER interesting. Loved it. I am not a psychology major, but I seriously thought about it about taking her class.

Dr Freeman teaches a great genrel course. She is interesting and funny. I really liked the class and would take her again.

She gives great lectures and we only have 3 exams in the class! The first two exams can be done with a partner and our final exam was online! We also have a lot of homework but they're all posted since the beginning of the semester and although they're time consuming, you can do it all in one weekend or two if you wanted.

Dr Freeman is a great teacher. She really knows how to make psychology simple. I do not want to be a psychology major but I really liked the class. She does a lot of group activities that will keep you awake and you will get to know your class mates. For an introduction class, she is fair and clear. I would tell my friends to definitely take her.

Onliners please note - Valencia says they have 24/7 tech support - NOT TRUE. If you have technical problems after hours or on the wknd, you're out of luck, so don't wait until the last minute to turn in work.

Positive Psychology is a great course. There is a lot of work you will be doing that is mostly about yourself, so they are helpful. Dr. Freeman is not heavy on exams but has you writing many reflections. I found this class personally helpful. The only course I have taken that helps me with the way I think and act. I really liked the course.

I will be taking her next semester for an in-person class since she is very good at her lectures. I took the online flex class so be prepared to read a chapter once or twice a week from a mandatory textbook (found mine for $12 online), 2 or 4 papers a week, difficult 4 quizzes. Her audio lectures are super important. No extra credit.

Awesome professor. Will be tking abnormal psychology with her. Just finished positive psychology. You have to write 2, 1 page paers per week. If you like to write about yourself and things that have to do about yourself, the writing is pretty cool. She is a great teacher. Audio Lectures are great to have.

If you haven't considered take Positive Psychology as a psych major, think again. This course helped me get through not only my term, but through life. I was able to find my purpose writing in our reflections every week. Dr. Freeman is a GEM and wants the best for her students. Very useful class overall. Will be taking her for abnormal psych.

Lots of reading! However this is an easy A! Weekly you read a chapter, answer lots of questions, take a quiz and write a reflection. The reflections are mostly what you feel, Ive learned a lot about myself this semester, and I wish I could take other classes with her as my professor! Dr. Freeman is excellent!

Dr Freeman's Positive Psychology course is awesome. She is a great teacher to have online. She is kind and responds to your emails pretty quickly. There is a lot of work to do, but the assignments are worth it.

Linda is an absolute gem - took her online for Fall 2020. All her lectures are PowerPoints that she records herself going over. She also attaches lecture notes & YouTube videos. I enjoyed this course! There's typically an exam every 3-4 weeks (50 questions). It's open book and you get two attempts. Take notes from her recorded lectures to guide you for the discussion assignments. There are also several extra credits sprinkled in. Read the chapters and you'll do great in the class. Highly recommend taking Freeman!

Ive taken her twice, once in psychology of human sexuality and now in abnormal psychology, shes a pretty easy grader but she really cares about your last assignment. But overall, really easy class!

Even if you are not a psychology major and just needs to earn a credit please take positive psychology. Not only Dr Freeman is the kindest professor, the class itself is refreshing. Learned a lot through the topics she gave us but also she lets you just "journal" your life. I loved the final project and I still apply it to this day.

Loved all the assignments, especially the last assignment called the “Happiness Challenge.” You pick a project and work on it as you go through the class. So great. Wish here was a positive psychology 2 !

I 100% recommend taking Dr. Freeman! This was a 6 week course, about 4 assignments due each week. Assignments were super easy, mainly reflecting on Ted Talks, discussion boards (doesn't alway require peer response), and check-ins. There was 3 exams, all were open book and can be taken in a group setting.

I love dr.freeman. I have her for mixed mode classes so we did the work online and had lectures in person. She's a great teacher and you can tell she cares for her students. Professor Linda freeman is amazing teacher I was having an emergency where I need to go out of country but she helped me finish my assignment and she graded everything soon so I don't have to worry about it.

Dr. Freeman is a great teacher. Her lectures are very interesting and provides you with an online textbook. I had her for mixed mode so the exams were online. If you read the readings the exams should be very easy and most of them are straight forward. I know some readings can be dreadful but because it's psych, they're actually very interesting.

This professor was an easy grader. You got full credit if you put minimal effort into her work. Her work on positive psychology was very easy and clear. However, if you struggle with deadlines, wait for her class. If you miss an assignment, she doesn't care, even if you are in the hospital. Her extra credit doesn't help make up for lost points.

I like how her videos have a song with it but this to get your attention and focus. Her assignments are all open so feel free to work ahead. There are discussions for every module and not all of them you have to reply to peers. There are knowledge quizzes for each module. This is just to test how much you know and you can take with a classmate.

If your taking psychology as a requirement or just as an elective Ms. Freeman is an amazing professor. The assignments she gives don't take long to complete and are fun/interactive. No midterm or finals. The weekly knowledge checks she assigns are open book. The only way to fail this course is if you actively don't try at all. Trust me just try it.

My favorite professor at Valencia!!! I took PSY2861 and CLP2140 online with Freeman and loved both. No textbook for 2861 but there is one for 2140 with a code. Interesting, up to date topics in both. I loved the topic of the EOC paper for 2140! 2861 was a fun summer class. I'm now a psych major because of Freeman! Take her if you love psych!

This teacher is very clear about her expectations and is kind to students. She is strict about deadlines, so assignments are locked after being due.
