Dr. Galloway,a motivating and easy to follow professor who takes interest in success of her students. Gives great notes, always there for extra help. Tests are well prepared for with class quizes and practice probs. She drops the lowest quiz grade and is generous with time available for the class project. A+ professor for Statistics.

Professor Galloway was my favorite professor throughout my college experience yet. She an absolutely amazing teacher. Its not an easy A and she does make each student work for their grade but she is really awseome about helping students really learn and achieve the grade they want. She puts SO much effort into the class and will spend all the time you need to help you understand. She makes printout notes available online which makes the material incredibly easier to understand. Also lets you use a calculator for nearly everything. TAKE HER.

Her class is very simple.. follow along notes with powerpoints, homework, tests. The homework could be difficult, but the tests are the easier questions. She uses my math lab, which helps out a lot. If I ever had a question/issue she always helped me out.

She breaks things down step by step and goes beyond that to ensure you understand the material. She will come in on her personal time to help you. She is just incredible! It is impossible to fail this class unless you absolutely do not try. It can get difficult at times but she is ALWAYS willing to help...always.

Prof. Galloway is the best math professor I've had at KSU. She is very helpful and allows cheat sheets on quizzes and tests. The course can get a litle tricky at times; however, she is willing to meet with students outside of class time to help you if you ask. Awesome professor!!!

Class is easy especially if you come to class and take notes. The notes are put online and she's very clear as to what needs to be done. 4 part excel project. She has videos online to show exactly what to do. No one should make less than a B if you put forth some effort

Math has never been easy for me and I dread every class relating to math BUT this professor is amazing. She has a way of explaining things that even a math dummy like myself can understand. Take her..she is so sweet and really cares about her students actually getting the work. You can tell she loves her job!

At first there was a lot going on, and it was confusing but if you follow syllabus, do online HW, and pay attention in class you should do very well. You will have to study, but if there is a problem she is there in many ways to help. No book required, there are quizzes, test (she give credit for effort to solve problem correctly), and a project.

I am not that good at math but Prof. Galloway was amazing at explaining the material. Also, with the teaching notes she gives you, you can follow along it again at home and it is like being in class again. If you are worried about taking math, take her.

Dr. Galloway's statistic class is ridiculously easy, her teaching notes are very helpful, and her quizzestests were clear on what she was asking for. Loved this class! I've never liked math but this class is pretty darn easy. You DO have to practice a bit, it's not like you can just show up and expect to pass. Can use the front of one note card as a "cheat sheet" on quizzes and tests, a whole sheet of paper for the final. Galloway is very nice and cares about students doing well!

Took her summer session and loved it! Ofcourse the class moves at a faster pace but its definitely manageable! The only way you'll succeed is if you practice on your own and study- what a shocker. I LOVE DR. GALLOWAY! She is so patient and is very clear when teaching. I wouldn't describe her as "nice" because she doesn't smile very much and she's very stern but she DOES have a sense of humor! I would email her at 10pm and she almost always responded. I honestly couldn't have asked for a better teacher. Statistics was HARD but she made it ok.

Her lectures are very clear. She gives out note outlines that you can fill in during lectures. There is nothing on tests or quizzes that isn't explained fully in the notes. Is very helpful during office hours too. As long as you pay attention and do the practice problems in class, you are sure to do well.

Dr. Galloway is a great statistics professor! She posts pre-made "fill in the blank" notes for each lecture on D2L and lets you take a note card on each exam (and for my class, a whole sheet of paper for the final). You will have to work for a good grade, though, it's not an easy A.

Print out the teaching notes(makes studying easier), pay attention in her class, ask questions,do mymathlab, and fill out your notecard, and you should do well. I have never been good at math, but with her teaching method and staying for her review sessions, where she practically tells you what is going to be on the test, I got an A.

I took Dr. Galloway for Math 1107 and loved her. Math isn't my strong subject, but she explains topics in a way that makes sense and works hard to make sure that her students understand! Professor Galloway is one of the tougher math teachers I've had, but she is completely fair. She is willing to listen if you don't think you got the grade you deserved. Expect about 2-4 homework assignments online each week, but they don't take much to finish. Gives plenty of tough quizzes and 5 tests, including the (cumulative) final exam.

Dr. Galloway is the first math class I will ever recieve an A in. You can't just show up and pass, though. But if you put the work in, do the webassign assignments, it's pretty much a guaranteed A. First test and second test I got a 100%, it was her first time teaching Math 1101 and she did amazing. Definitely take her if you can, it's worth it.

Dr. Galloway makes her expectations very clear. She allows you to use note cards on the tests and makes practice tests. As long as you make use of your calculator and do the homework you'll be fine.

She gives you 2 quizzes and 1 test over every chapter. There's homework online for every chapter. The homework isn't bad because you can try a problem multiple times until you get it right and her tests aren't bad as long as you've paid attention in class. She tells you exactly whats going to be on the test so you can study well. Would take again.

I took Dr. Galloway my freshman year. She made this class as easy as high school math. I will be taking her for STAT1107. Amazing teacher, she helps so much with understanding. She had online homework that was worth like 10% BUT she could have done away with that by now.

She is awesome! I was very nervous to take math because I always did so bad in high school, but her class was different. I never got below a B in her class. If you have a 95 or over at the end of the semester you don't have to take the final. The final is cumulative, which sucks but it;s not bad. I would take her every math class if i could.

There were more students than seats in the room but she acknowledged the work I put in. I would gladly take her again. Just show up to class with the daily notes printed and ready to be filled in, calculator ready and DO THE HW. If not for a grade than for your own benefit. I did the HW the night before the test so it was fresh for the test.

Dr. Galloway made herself available to me, gave thorough notes, and just knew her stuff. After taking her course, I now have taken on a statistics minor because I really enjoyed the class and have an appreciation for statistical studies.

Simply a great professor. Her course was very well organized and her lectures were short, sweet, and to the point. Plenty of time spent in class practicing problems. I have never taken a course where the professor prepares you for the test as much as she did, and she doesn't put trick questions in her tests either. She made 6 weeks of math easy.

As long as you study and keep up with the homework and quizzes you will pass. Most of the quizzes are online but it's a lockdown browser and webcam. All the test are in-person but you are allowed to have a notecard with formulas. There is a lot of homework through ALEKs but it's manageable.

Attendance is not mandatory but she will post videos for material you missed. You do have to study and practice the problems but it was pretty easy to make an A.

Dr. Galloway was one of the best professors I've ever had. She genuinely cares about her students and their success. She also gives plenty of opportunities to raise your grade at the end of the semester. As someone who was scared t take this course because I'm bad at math, she made it easy and stress-free! If you have the chance to take her, DO IT!

Dr.Galloway is one of the best teachers at KSU almost ended the term with an 82 but with her extra credit and extra studying I ended with an A. Please take her if you can! Print out notes to go along with and youll be fine!

Dr. Galloway is very caring and a great professor. There is three unit tests and quizzes every chapter. The tests were all in person and most of the quizzes were, but some were online or take home. ALEKS homework every chapter but you have a week for each assignment. Easy A if you show up and pay attention.

Great professor! She creates her own notes so her lectures are easy to follow. Would recommend you print them out beforehand to fill in during class. HW online is easy and helps your grade in the end. Go to class!! you fall behind because she covers a lot every class. Very easy to contact and very good at her job! would love to take her again

She is a amazing teacher for Stat 1401, she cares about her students and wants them to succeed. Her tests are easy if you pay attention in class, or if you don't go to class, you can watch her lecture videos and go through her completed guided notes from the lecture you missed. I usually suck at math but this class was not hard.

Dr. Galloway cares so much for her students. She sometimes will refer to herself as a "Math Momma", which is very accurate. She wants all of her students to succeed. Her quizzes and tests are very easy if you pay attention in class and do the homework. She sometimes offers extra credit. I highly recommend!

TAKE HER!! I usually don't do well in math but have a 98 avg in her class. Practice the problems on the notes/extra worksheets because they are just like the tests/quizzes. She cares and wants you to be successful. Attendance isn't required but you'll do better if you go to class because she explains things so well. study what you don't know

TAKE HER. Dr.Galloway was a really good lecturer and described everything really well. Attendance wasn't mandatory, but I really suggest you go to class. She posts videos of her notes in case you miss. She makes it clear what she wants from your assignments and she grades very fairly. Honestly, she's one of the best math teachers I've ever had.

Dr. Galloway is amazing! she gives you guided notes for every lecture, I recommend you print them out. she posts her lectures online in case you miss class, she gives you an outline of what's basically going to be on it. She also lets you use both sides of an index card on any quizzes or tests. I passed with an easy A.

Professor is super kind and sweet. She actually made me like and understand math. If you take her just make sure to pay attention because she covers lots of different things relatively quickly.

Galloway was an excellent professor!! HIGHLY RECOMEND taking her class for an EASY A in stat. She gives out guided teaching notes and has a quiz for every chapter( super easy). It's an easy class if you go to class and listen to her.

This class was very easy if you go to class, pay attention, and do the work. You use Aleks for homework, and there are 2 chapters in each unit and there are 4 units. If she has any bad ratings its because they didn't try.

Galloway rocks. She is very good at what she does and really works with you to make sure you understand the material. Her tests are just like the worksheets she provides and she posts online lectures in case you miss class or need extra help. 100% recommend her and she is so sweet to all her students. You can tell she wants her students to succeed.

Professor Galloway is very knowledgeable about statistics and makes everything easy to understand. She provides notes and practice that prepare you for quizzes and exams. Not much homework other than a few ALEKS assignments. Tests and quizzes are exactly like what is taught in class.

Dr. Galloway is a straight-shooter. She is very direct and clear about how she grades and what is on the test. She allows a notecards worth of information on each quiz and test, mostly in class but some online. She is nice, caring, and allowed me to do my honors project with her. This class really gives you everything you could ask for in a Statistics course. The lectures are very thoroughly explained, and you'll know exactly what the expectation is to succeed. There's so many resources that she has available through D2L. You will have to work to get an A, but as long as you use what's available to you, you'll do great!

Really enjoyed her class. Although her teaching/testing method may be slightly different than a lot of other stat professors, it worked much better for me and really promoted learning and understanding. Study what you did wrong on the quizzes because they're exactly like the tests. If you practice the problems, you'll do great.

I loved Professor Galloway! She is very helpful if you have questions and takes the time to go over the harder topics. She takes the time to explain a concept and review it thoroughly before tests and quizzes. She even has review days before assessments that are focused on practicing what you have learned. I would 100% take her again.

No one has ever made math SO easy than Prof. Galloway! As long as you show up, take notes, and ask questions you'll pass with flying colors. I had an A for majority of the semester which has never happened in math for me before!

The best professor ever! The notes and homework are very helpful and are like the quizzes and tests. Some days before the test is designated for going over notes and reviewing. She also gives 20 minutes of class to study before a quiz! She will respond to emails and is very accessible outside of class. IF POSSIBLE TAKE HER!!

My favorite professor at Kennesaw thus far. I have never been strong in math and was very nervous about taking stat but she made it a breeze. Gives ample amount of resources on d2l to use to study and tests are straightforward! Lectures are very informative and easy to follow.

Professor Galloway is amazing. She explains everything in such an understandable way and has really helpful recorded lectures to go back to if you need a pick me up while studying/ doing homework. If you are taking elementary stat, she is a very good professor. She works through the problems with you and provides lots of practice work to help you. She also really wants all of her students to succeed in class

This professor was amazing! She offers every available resource you need to succeed ranging from her time outside of class to study guides to index cards on tests. Notes and videos are available online. Not a lot of homework. Attendance is not required, but if she marks you absent less than three times, you get extra credit.

Professor Galloway is my favorite by far! She teaches so well and is there for her students if we need help. She responds to emails fast. The weekly homework is very easy and she allows us to do it over until we get the grade we want. Some of the quizzes were online but most were in person and not hard unless you don't study or miss a class.

TAKE HER! She is the most amazing prof I've ever had. Dr. Galloway cares deeply for her students and wants the best for them. She makes content very clear and provides resources to help you succeed. Expectations are super clear and easy to follow from day 1. If you have to take this course, do what you have to do to take this professor!!!

Professor Galloway is AMAZING! I was not excited to take STAT but professor Galloway is truly such a good teacher. She is extremely organized and her D2L page has everything you will ever need. If you actually do the work and practice, you will ace the class. I ended with a high A and was even able to be exempt from the final! 10/10 Professor.

She is a great math teacher that i will say in my life! This is one of the first times I actually liked math and learned how to do every unit on my own without stressing about if I know the concept or not. Her test are straight forward, and she has an amazing SI leader who helps with sessions as well! This is coming from a non math person!

I have literally always struggled with math...even the basics. Prof Galloway explains the stat concepts in an easy to understand way. She made me stop thinking i suck at math!!! Take her if you are not the greatest at stats/math. She posts practice question for every test/quiz and they are pretty much the same. Study those you'll be perfect!

Ms.Galloway made math so easy for me! I have never been good at math but the resources she lent her class were helpful. There would be quizzes every 2 weeks but they were short and answer. Tests were straightforward as well. Just study and do your notes. She gives guided notes. You are allowed to have a notecard on everything!

I would recommend her to anyone. She is an amazing teacher and used to teach high school. She is so nice and would love to answer any questions. She looks intimidating but really, she is so sweet. Amazing teacher, amazing person!

Very straightforward stats class. Dr. Galloway is very accessible outside of class and explains concepts in a clear manner. The only thing you really have to do to get an A is do the ALEKS work and use the practice she posts. Lectures are recorded and she posts every available resource on D2L to help students.

Honestly this class was pretty easy & I would take it again. She's patient with us and is willing to help students who are struggling. She breaks it down for the students and makes sure that everyone understands. She also let us use a notecard during the test she had.

Dr. Galloway is up there with Tom Garr. She is hands down the best math educator I've ever had in my life. I went through high school/round 1 of college with F's and C's in every math class I ever took. Fast fwd 10 years to finish my undergrad and STAT is on my first semester...because of her, I aced with an A+. Phenomenal educator!

Love her! She's really great at breaking down and explaining each part of the material so you get it. Its definitely a fast paced class so be ready for that. I'd highly recommend going to class everyday because she works through every page of the notes. She lets you use a notecard on every quiz and test. Easiest math class you'll ever take!

There's plenty of materials to use to study. It would be hard to fail this class!

While Stats is not most people's favorite kind of math, she made it bearable and almost enjoyable. You didn't have to extra work unless you wanted the practice.

GOD I LOVED THIS CLASS!!! she said at the start at the semester that if you passed the class with a high a (93 i believe) you didn't have to take the final and that really did drive me to do good in that class.
