This class is crucial for the business world. She is a fun teacher and really prepares you for the real world. I now feel more confident about getting out there after taking this class. She is very understanding of any concerns you may have and loves to tell stories. I learned the most from this class from any of my other classes.

I loved this professor!! she is so great, super nice and really funny. she's from new york so she has a tough exterior, but the class is really easy and you learn stuff that you can definetly take with you to your career. definetely take this teacher!

Great teacher, she really helps you prepare for what your going to have to deal with in the real world of business. she wants you to show up to every class but she doesnt make it mandatory, but it helps you out in the end if you do show up to class. she is fun and makes the class fun and knows what she is talking about. take her she is great.

Class can get boring but is a very good class to have. It is one of those requirements that really doesn't need a whole semester to be taught, that is why it gets boring. If you have the chance to take it, do take it. She gives you a lot to take with you for the rest of your life.

TAKE HER. You do not want BUS 203 unless it is with Ms. Hickman. Understands college students up, down, left, right, inside, and out. (SER) Extremely nice, helpful, and USEFUL! (SER) Everything you learn will apply to life whether you go into business or not. Her class should be mandatory for all and taught to 400+ students in lecture halls.

This class will more than likely be more helpful than any other business class. Its fairly easy to get an A just go to every class and do the homework thats assigned. She dose not require a book and only gives the information that you will be using.

Professor Hickman is awesome. She is the best professor at CSUSM. She has a great sense of humor and really cares about her students. she gives you cheat sheats and she allows work to be turned in late. she is on the students side which is very hard to find in college. i wish all teachers could be like her

She is the best teacher I've had. Her class is hands-on and don't use a textbook. She gives cheat sheets to make it easier on students. Accepts late work, very flexible and understanding. Grading is crazy though. People get up to -200. How to avoid that? JUST DO IT RIGHT. GET TO THE POINT when you're writing. and you'll get 100% all the time. :)

This is a great class!!! She is very helpful and the things that she teaches can be used in the real world. Easy A if you put the effort and learn the stuff. She makes it easy by providing cheat sheets that help you with every assignment. No papers. You write letters, emails, repots, memos, and resumeas. Its fun in class :)!

Hickman is an amzing professor! She grades kinda hard at first but its NOT HARD TO GET AN "A"! You have to attend class and do all easy homework assignments! I def recommend her!!

She is lovely, funny, helpful, considerate and professional. She doesn't require textbook and there is no syllabus. she will use handouts and e-mail. She has some key to the real world that are extremely helpful. At first, she grades brutally, but by the end of semester, you have learned pretty much everything and will leave the class happy.

A professor of the highest quality. Teaches very useful information/skills, and teaches WELL. Extremely funny. Had a tragic personal crisis partway through her course, but she worked closely with me, and I still learned SO MUCH in her class, despite external circumstances. I honestly miss going to her class. Quite literally the perfect course!

Ms. Hickman was a great and dedicated teacher. Despite a lot of personal problems throughout the semester, she still delivered an excellent education for her students and really showed an interest in our lives. BEST CLASS EVER. Hickman is such a helpful teacher, I have learned a lot from her. Even though she mostly teaches commas, but those rules stay with you for life. She did have some difficulties with her health but she did teach well. favorite teacher ever.

There's no textbook required, but she practically writes her own. You'll walk out of this course with valuable skills. If you do the work, you'll get an A. If you don't do the work, she'll ask you for it everyday. She truly cares about her students and that's rare nowadays. She doesn't accept too many crashers, but she's definitely worth taking.

Professor Hickman was my absolute favorite professor I have ever had. What makes her the greatest is that she is totally upfront and clear with her students. If you don;t put in the work, good work, you won't do well. It doesn't matter if she likes your personality or not, how well you do in the class is up to you.

I wish she taught more courses. She has short and to the point assignments. She also is understanding when it comes to life, so if you are unable to turn in an assignment on time, she allows you to turn it in the next class wo a penalty. She's also hilarious, so she makes you want to come to class everyday. No textbook! I highly recommend her!
