Ms. Hintzman is a wonderful math professor that all students should take because you learn alot from her class and she makes the class a fun environment. Easiest professor that I have ever taken.

Mrs. Hintzman is awsome. She makes the learning environment fun. She always takes the time to answer questions. She gives homework every night, but it's not due till test time. There is a quiz every day (4-8 probs. She is a sweet person!!

Mrs. Hinzman is the best teacher of math that I have ever had. She is systematic, her lectures are organized, her quizes are from homework, test is from her lectures. Do homework and you will learn everything to get an A.

She's a really good professor. Good in teaching and really helpful. Easy to pass her class. You don't even need to come everyday but yet you can still pass her class with a B or A. That is, doing good in all tests of course. Recommend taking her for Math402 & Math 125.

It was an easy class, it was mostly things that you did in H.S. (algebra, geometry and other easy stuff) She explained everything really good. If you the stuff you don't even have to come everyday, shes not strict in attendance. Just come in quiz days and test days. I highly recomend her.

She was a sweetie, very very helpful. Honestly interested in helping the student. If you had any questions she wouldnt make you feel stupid for asking, and would explain very clearly the problem. I recommend her!

she is great. If your planning on taking math 125, she is the best choice. She is very helpfull with learning the material. Most of all she WANTS to see her students do well in her class. Unlike some teachers that go out of their way to make life a living hell. She takes all the b.s. out of learning math. She is a cutie.

Hintzman is a good teacher. She doesn't give a lot of hmwk, no midterm, and frequent quizes.

If you hate math take this class. logic and critical thought too, really good. she is such a good teacher! Bright, funny, cool and incredibly helpful. not easy, not hard, just good. The class is helpful to the point where it improves your english. Now thats a math class. study for the quizes and the test. final is the most important!

Great Math Teacher! Took her for Math 3 (college algebra). If you take her you will learn and understand the material. She is a medium difficulty but do the homework and visit during her office hours and you will get a good grade.

Expect 1 reasonable quiz a week. Ms. Hintzman is a sweet lady and will help you with any Math3 problem you can think of. Homework is turned in on the test date, but trust me it takes a long time to finish it. The grading scale is on 1080 points so there is room for error. Lowest quiz dropped as well. Highly reccomend her for Math3.

Wonderful teacher. Takes all the time in the world to help you until you get it. Never makes you feel bad for not picking something up. FANTASTIC teacher.

Perfect choice for Math 3. She is very kind, patient, and helpful. Her lectures are clear and focussed. Medium difficulty but if you do all the homework and visit her office hours you will do fine. You should find a way to take her if you are going on to trig. Her Math 3 class was the main reason I got an a in trig.

If the homework seems too much, just do the odd ones out of what she assigns. Then, if you finish all of that, go back & finish the rest. This stuff took me HOURS upon HOURS & I got a D on the first test because I tried to go through the homework in order instead of just doing a little from each section. This class definitely helped me pass CBEST.

Ms. Hintzman was extremely helpful. She taught me everything. If it wasn't for her I would be still struggling.. take her because she helped me learn and understand math. she was pleasent and clear. Please be there everyday because everyday counts. take her she will change your view on math

The best math professor. This class does take up your time and if you are not strong in math come to her office hours and she will teach you. she's patient, funny, and smart. Take her!

she was amazing. I had no classes for fall and she added me at the last second with true kindness. I enjoyed her class. I got good grades because of her. She was always happy and smiling. I adore her. I wish she would of taught 131! hopefully soon I'm waiting.

Teaching style clear & concise. Made trig understandable. Very approachable teacher, I rarely ask questions but she made it easy to ask. 9 quizzes (drops lowest), 5 tests (drops lowest & replaces w/final exam if higher than 69% & better than lowest score), 5 hw assignments, & of course a final exam. All in all, a pretty great course. Recommended.

Professor Hintzman is so awesome! She makes math approachable and is very clear in explaining things. She always gives partial points for all your work. I have had her for two classes. Take her!

10 Quizzes (lowest one dropped) 5 Exams and 1 Final. Teaching style is easy to understand and follow. She absolutely LOVES graphing, so look forward to a ton of those problems on quizzes and exams. Bs are definitely attainable and with plenty of effort and studying an A is also in reach.

I took Professor Hintzman for the past year for math 450 and 402 and I never had an awesome math teacher until i had her. She is very patient as she will teach you step. I wish she teaches algebra

Hintzman is a REALLY nice professor - she makes math an incredibly easy subject to understand, and she's really patient. She gives homework and quizzes every class meeting, but if you stay on top of it all, you should be fine. Highly recommend taking her!!

I love this professor. She is amazing. I hated math and now I understand it. She is the best teacher I have ever had at PCC. Take her, you will not regret it. I got a B in her class.

Breaks longer sections down into multiple lessons if they're harder to understand. Even though she gives out a lot of homework (at least 1 hr a day) she goes over any problems you might have had trouble with and only collects homework on test days. And gives you the chance to correct missed test problems for an extra 5 pts. Drops lowest quiz score.

Best freakin math teacher I've had in college so far I wish she could teach me all of my math classes she will help you during her office hours with no problems really easy to understand homework every night and quiz everyday but she is honestly here to help you with anything :)

This class was awesome. My class adored her. She chunks the lessons for an easy flow. She WILL work with you and help you. She offers too much extra credit. She encourages study groups and even let us do 2 GROUP quizzes. You have quizzes every week and it's for your own benefit. Homework is due on test days. WHAT ARE YOU WAITING FOR?! TAKE HER!

I had the opportunity to have Professor Hintzman for a second semester, she is an amazing professor but the material did get tougher than last semester (250). She does explain things clearly but you honestly have to put in the time and work.

Professor Hintzman has a fantastic teaching style! She gives quizzes every class except on test days, but if your actually paying attention and doing the homework; it should be relatively easy. She is always eager to help. I actually think she works too hard. Just show up, pay attention, and do your work! Take her class, you will not regret it!

Considering we were a bunch of babies in her class, she was very patient with us. If you know equations and decimal/percentages conversions you will do fine in this class. She is a very good professor and goes the extra mile to help. If she sees you struggling she more often then not come to you and help you. really great professor.

She is honestly one of the best math professors I have taken. She really cares about students and makes sure that everybody understands the material. I rarely turned in homework and still passed with an A. 3 tests and she drops the lowest quiz score. Final replaces lowest test grade. You won't regret taking her class!

Professor Hintzman really wants you to succeed so she encourages you to see her or other math professors in office hours. Math 150 has a lot of homework, but all the professors use the same syllabus, book and grading system so that's a given. She is very patient and will go over something a million times if you need her too,

Prof H. makes Math fun and she has your best interest at heart. She assigns a lot of HW but only because the practice will help you retain the material! She's well organized and you'll always know what's going on. She is always willing to help and will throw out your low quiz scores. She honestly wants you to succeed! Wish she was teaching Stats!

Professor Hintzman is one of the best math professors I have taken. She is very clear with lectures and instructions. She really cares about her students and is very approachable. There's lots of homework but I was thankful for that because it really helps you learn the material. I would take her again if I could! But she doesn't teach Stats :(

She is one of the best teachers I've ever had. She explains concepts really well and is happy to go over it again if you don't get it. She's very bubbly and kind, making for a comfortable and enthusiastic class environment. She does assign a fair amount of homework, but this will prepare you for tests. Clear path to an A, wants you to succeed.

Professor Hintzman is THE BEST! The best thing about her classes is how she will have you DO THE WORK IN CLASS in order that you may be able to practice. Her lectures are very short and effective and most of the class is practice and labs. I highly recommend that you do all the homework as it is a large portion of the grade.

A real gem. Prof H is truly the best math prof ive ever taken. Her class is not that hard as long as you take notes and do the homework. She does give a lot of HW but its not that hard. She truly cares about her students and is super understanding. I am a student with a very weak background in math and yet this class was memorable. TAKE HER!

Professor Hintzman is one of the GREATEST teachers I've had. She is very clear in her lectures. She is also flexible and sweet:) Take notes, pay attention, and do the work! She gives practice problems in class so ASK your QUESTIONS!!! 10/10 Take Her Class!!!!!

TEXTBOOK CAN BE FOUND ONLINE. VERY lenient when grading; even if answer is wrong, if you show work you're likely to get points. Reading the assigned chapters will strengthen your skills, but you can get by with just her lectures. Sample tests/quizzes are online before the real ones, and they are almost the same. Easy A if you're good with numbers.

Professor Hintzman was a great instructor to have for remote teaching. Her lecture videos were very helpful as well as her "in class" teaching. Ms. H is very aware that many people (like me) take Math 15 as non-math majors, so she makes sure to explain everything as if it was someone's first time with the material. I highly recommend her!

The BEST Stat professor at PCC. SO thorough in her lectures. I hadn't taken a math class in a decade and she would go over/review simple algebraic expressions and make them super easy to understand. If you participate in lectures and do your homework, the exams are cake. She is super helpful during office hours too. Highly recommend

Lectures are easy to follow as I showed up for only test days and watched her lectures online and I was able to understand it all. She gives easy-to-understand examples that are near identical to the homework. What's even better is that the quiz and tests are easier than the HW and she allows a single-page cheat sheet. There's no way to fail.

Mrs. H is truly a gem - caring, knowledgeable, always willing to go the extra mile for students. She truly knows how to help other people learn math, even if you're not strong in it to begin with. Definitely take her class! Skip class, won't pass - don't fall behind on homework and you'll be okay.

Attendance isn't mandatory but it's easy to fall behind if you skip. But if you don't skip, it's the easiest class ever. Lectures are easy to understand. You can do your homework easily during class so you don't have any work at home. The tests are even easier. You can turn in work late too and she doesn't mind. Very understanding & helpful.

Let's get to the point. Easy A. Nice and flexible prof. Exams and quizzes are easier than the hw. I "technically" finished the course during the first week of school because you can take this course at your own pace lol. Hence manageable workload. Nothing confusing in her lectures and an overall amazing, well-respected, and talented individual!

I normally don't leave any feedback but Professor H is literally the best teacher I have had in my life. Her lectures are so easy to understand and she is so sweet and willing to help if you are struggling in her class. I can even finish her homework just in class and she also accepts late work. 1000/10 math was my enemy and I have ADHD but she made me enjoy stats! she grades differently A 100 - 86% B 85 - 70% C 69 - 60% D 59 - 50% F 49 - 0% she is always here to help, so sweet and she posts lectures on canvas TAKE UR NOTES! u can have a cheat sheet. u can skip I did it often but I always did the work notes&videos. accepts late work!

Awesome stats teacher. Has pre-work lectures to take notes on before through and explained examples in class. There will be homework to practice the concepts but a cheat sheet on exams, so you don't have to memorize! Very energetic each day and you can tell that she cares about teaching!

Mrs. H is an amazing professor. She is warm and caring and true master of the material she is teaching. I would love to take her class again in the future. If you keep up with the classwork and homework, you'll do well. Class is well organized with videos available on canvas just in case you missed the lesson. Highly recommend. 10/10

I thought the class was super easy. Each test you get a full sheet of notes front and back (only 4 tests + final). You watch videos for homework and then in class she reviews the lesson and you do some problems. 10/10 recommend taking this class!!

AMAZING! Took her for MATH022. Does give lots of homework, but it was always doable. If you have difficulty with the homework, ask her questions or go to office hours. She is able to explain difficult topics very clearly. HW is much harder than quizzes/tests. If you do the homework, you WILL get an A/B in your exams/quizzes! TAKE HER!

Love her! If you struggle with stats take her. She lets you use cheat sheets on exams, a 60% is a C in her class which gives you an extra 10% to pass. I was not bored in her class at all, very interesting lectures. Only down side is working in groups for class work which can be distracting if you work better in silence.

I've always struggled in math so I was super nervous coming into Stats (even though it's elementary to stats.) But Ms Hintzman is the best math teacher ever! She's able to explain everything in simple terms that could make anyone from age 10 to 100 understand what she's saying! A lot of homework, but you can finish it all during the class period.

Even though this class is lecture heavy, she makes the subject very easy to understand. I HIGHLY HGHLY RECCOMEND this professor.

Take her for stats! She's the best! I was terrible at stats and couldn't grasp it at all till I took her. She makes it so understandable and easy to learn. Just make sure to always watch her lectures before class it really does help in passing the class. Lots of homework but can easily be finished in class and can ask her for any help when needed.

Took her Fall 2025 for Pre-Calc. Assigns videos prior to class, does examples during class. Simplifies topics well. She is a very caring professor and wants you to pass. The final is 20% of your grade. 4 Tests make up 60%. Quizzes: 10%. Hw: 10%. The tests follow material accurately. Allows cheat sheets on tests. Allows late Hw. Grades leniently.
