I learned so much in this class. Linda was so helpful and interesting the whole semester. Her lectures would leave me thinking about psychology throughout the day. I recommend this teacher to anyone and everyone.

I learned a lot in this class and loved Lindas teaching style. We do a lot of group projects, which are fun. There are 3 different kinds of tests, which helps you do well because you're likely to do well on one of the test styles. She is a very interesting lecturer and makes the subject easy to learn. Great teacher.

Johnson is excellent! I think she's very fun, energetic, and seems like an all around sweet woman. No tests, no quizzes, just self evaluation. She seems like she genually cares about her students as well.

Very easy and enjoyable class. Mrs. Johnson is very energentic and is a great teacher. Only 2 tests thoughout the semester and one of them is a take home test. One big project at the end of the year that was actually pretty fun and not hard to do at all. TAKE THIS CLASS. FIRST "A" I GOT IN COLLEGE!

Linda is a very good teacher. She is very scatter-brained and not very organized. She is late almost every class. She is my aunt, so I am used to her habits, but to some it can be irratating. Pretty easy class, but when she is in lecture it is easy to fall behind and not understand if you come into her class without prior teachings in that subject.

A really good instructor willing and ready to help her students. Just don't pass her on the way to Butte. As she screams and cusses you out. lol And if your in her class she makes an example out of you in front of everyone.

One of the best classes I have ever taken. Linda really knows how to make a her students come together and be supportive of each other. She is also extremely good at using a variety of activities to enhance learning experiences and make class fun.

Impressed with her structure and valued time with her students. Opens herself up to bring the classes foundation as a unit and whole instead of a scattered operating unit. Lots of group activity. Enjoyable and pleasant.

Personal & Social Growth- Very very fun class. You learn a lot about yourself and psychology. You get to do a research topic on anything of your choice for improving your life or teaching something to others. Easy class to get through, you get to know everyone really well due to lots of group projects. Linda's a great person. Really great class!

She is a total hippie. The best and most legitimately nice teacher I've had so far. It is apparent that she teaches this subject because she has a passion for it, not because its her job. She is very laid back and easy to get along with. As long as your willing to do your work the class is fairly easy to pass.

She was fun and laid back. I enjoyed her class. She is really passionant about psychology and is extremely knowlegable about it. She cares about your health both physically and mentally and is a litte goofy and fun at times. She is constantly probing our minds for info. LOL I recommend taking her class to pretty much anybody I talk to about it.

Linda takes psychology, adds a twist of excitement, and serves it to you like comfort food. I love this class, don't know what grade I have yet, but don't care because I am leaving with a ton of knowledge. I love that she was interested in my 2sec. rule. :)

Linda is one of the best instructors at Butte College I have taken 2 of her classes ans will be taking my 3rd in the spring of 2012. I love her classes she knows what she is teaching and makes class fun!

Easy class. Weekly "essays" due every week but she stopped assigning them after the fifth one. Gives points for attending class. Group presentation projects are the focus of the course. She was nice, kind of unorganized, but I really liked the class. Fun, easy, and laidback teacher.

Great teacher. To call her "easy" reflects sophomoric values. Johnson is brilliant. You'll learn more than you could hope for about your life and how psychology works. Highly recommended for all psych majors. Anyone wanting "easy" should seek elsewhere.

Love the class, Linda is pretty cool too. Homework was easy but make sure you keep up with it. She teaches from the heart and makes you want to learn more from her. I hope to take more classes from her in the future.

Some people didnt show up to class for weeks and still passed.. Of course they didnt get things turned in but they passed. I loved her as a teacher; she was nice and easy going. The class was relaxing and comfortable. She made a little family out of us.

Linda Johnson was a great teacher, she really knows her stuff. Easy to pass as long as you do your part. If you're not getting the grade you want, she will work with you. It's more about the lesson behind the class than the grade to her. Sometimes it seems a little scattered, but everything ended up caught up. Overall, I enjoyed this class.

There is not enough words in the English language to describe how wonderful Linda is. This is the only class this semester I love. I have learned so much in this class without being stressed out or bored. Amazing women and it is important to have a teacher like her every semester. You will be shooting yourself in the foot if you don' take her class

Wonderful Teacher. She has amazing lectures and I have learned an incredibly amount of Psychology. Never a dull moment in her class and she starts everyone off with exercises that stimulate learning and I was able to retain information far better than any other class. She is clear and concise with her teaching plan and what you will learn. TAKE HER

If you show up and do the unit activities and notes you will pass. She gives you the answers to the quizzes before you take them. There are no tests, just quizzes every week and a half or so. She tries to provide a very stress free environment, and does a really good job. She is very understanding, and accepts late work. Her lectures are great too.

The class is so easy. If you show up and do the work, you'll pass. There is barely any homework and her lectures are great. She gives funny examples and great powerpoint lectures. Every class is a joy to be in and if you miss the class, she'll post everything on Blackboard. Just show up for the tests and pass them and thats all.

Amazing professor. Fascinating lectures and very organized. Don't understand ratings that said she was "easy"; class is rough, there's a lot of work. Maybe she changed after reading reviews on here. She makes hard concepts easy to understand and cares about her students. One of the best at Butte by far.

Linda is very down to earth. You can tell she loves her job. Quizzes are easy. She is straight forward with grading. Fun class!

Kind of all over the place. Make sure you keep your papers so you get all the credit, she's a bit spacey. Gives extra credit, doesn't deduct points for late work, can turn in extra credit up until final.

She is truly a great professor. Gives great extra credit opportunities and does activities during class to help you engage and learn any way possible. Her knowledge on this topic makes class go by quickly.

I took an online Psych class instructed by Linda, and she's amazing. For being my first online class she took it into her own hands to make sure I was able to get the homework done around my schedule. Homework is due every Friday at midnight so it gives you the whole week to study. She even gives you a PDF of the textbook so you don't have to buy.

Took Psych-1 w/ her. She is great. Can be unclear of what she wants sometimes but if you show up and do the little homework she assigns, you'll be fine. Weekly discussions on canvas. Moves quick but its not difficult material if you pay attention. Cuts class short just about every week. She can be a little ditsy but she is really understanding.

Linda is an inspirational educator. She truly cares about helping her students understand the material. She gives clear power point lectures for each weeks lesson. She also provides a review before each test. She gives great feedback in discussions. She gives students the opportunity to make up missed points with extra credit assignments! -AMAZING!

Linda is an amazing teacher/person. I really enjoyed her online course! She motivated me when she saw that I missed an assignment and gave me that extra push to keep going! I LOVE LINDA JOHNSON. I took her for Psych 1 and her Meditation and Mindfulness class and it was awesome! She is super chill and honestly pretty unorganized, but she makes up for it by not giving out many assignments and grading super easy! She cares so much about all of her students and wants to help them succeed, not only in school but in life!

I took her online course, and you get one assignment, one group post, one comment on the group post, and one quiz each week. It is kind of a lot of reading, but it is psychology she is teaching.

I really enjoyed Linda's class. It was well organized and the deadlines were always clear. I really like how the class was structured and found many of the subjects covered interesting and well presented. She posted a lot of audio lectures (great for online classes!) and was overall a very nice professor to have. Super nice and easy to talk to.

Linda was an amazing professor, she engages in the class and in her powerpoints or videos that are shown in class, she makes it easy to follow along and not get bored with staring at a powerpoint all period.

Linda is such a sweet and amazing instructor! She truly cares about every single student and she responds to emails as soon as she can! She always acknowledged everything I wrote in my assignments and even guided me to resources outside/inside of college if I needed it. If youre looking for a kick start to psychology, take Linda!

Linda is a great teacher! The structure of her class is set up so that you will succeed. She is thoughtful, and opened to new ideas to make her class better. If you need help, or clarity, she responds in a timely manner. She is sweet, and it was a delight to have been a student of hers.

Really good online class, she opens every module every Monday, and then that is due on that Friday by midnight. She grades fairly, and is really easy to talk to. It is a really great class and really interesting definitely take this one if you are needing a psychology class online!

I loved this class. Linda was so caring and made the subject interesting. The book was free and she posted voice lectures on Canvas, which helped a lot. I appreciate that she opened up modules in advance, so you could do the work early if you wanted. Highly recommend!

Professor Johnson is caring and incredibly helpful. All of the coursework was interesting, she offered extra credit and kept up on her grading. She is lenient but does hold you to standards. I took this course online and she was easy to reach anytime I needed help. I would definitely recommend taking one of her courses.

Linda is by far my favorite Professor I have ever had! She's very friendly, and does a great job with her power-points to make sure you get all the necessary information for the tests. Her online class was asynchronous so you could go at your own pace. I'm sad she doesn't have any upper level classes though. She's the best you could have at Butte!

I took an online course with Linda, and the online course was easy and fun! Homework was the perfect amount! not overwhelming, and I gained a lot of knowledge. Easy A if you do the work! Linda is absolutely wonderful to have as a professor. I took her online course to study for my other classes and I don't regret it. There is some reading but its worth it. She's understanding and caring for her students. She even teaches the importance of managing stress and gives grace periods for assignments. Highly recommend.

Linda is SO amazing. Her Mindfulness & Meditation class meant everything to me. I learned so much about myself that I will carry on with me for the rest of my life. One of my favourite professors! Each week we'd have a discussion post + 2 responses, a quiz, textbook reading, and up to 2 lectures to watch. She gives really good feedback! To get an A just be on top of the discussion posts, do the reading, and take notes. (We also had MANY e.c. opportunities if you're disappointed in your grade!)

Amazing and kind teacher, her class was very easy to pass. We had a discussion post + 2 responses due every Monday, as well as a quiz but we got two tries. She gives out a lot of extra credit. The final assignment was super easy, a 300 word assignment responding to a question you had about people's behaviors.
