Great Professor. She makes the class fun and educational at the same time. She is very funny. She doesn't give homework but little assignments like a 2 page paper. Final was open book.

Do your work, show up, and you should do fine. Very engaging women...gets the class talking in a good way. No quizzes some papers here and there... Mid-term is a take home

She's an easy professor, makes you talk to all the other students, I became good friends with everyone in class. She's funny, easy, and gives only 2 essays (open book) as a midterm and final, and as long as you do the public speaking in class it's an easy A. Take her class for a fun easy class.

Easy A as long as you attend class and participate. I had her at 8'oclock in the am, she made the class fun and interesting. Always looked forward to going to class...

She is the BESTTTTTTT teacher. If you have to take communications, TAKE HER. She is SO funny, youll be laughing the whole time. She doesnt give too much work, and she keeps everything interesting. Youll walk out of the class with friends too, she loves having the class getting involved. TAKE HER CLASS!!!

Professor Kalfayan's classes are really interesting and fun. we had to do about 4 or 5 presentations in all but she helps you learn how to do them. also she doesnt give much work and is really understanding. As long as you show up and put effort in, you'll be fine.

What a great professor! She is helpful, nice, funny, and a great professor. People mistake her for being "easy." Rather, it is that she is such a good professor that she makes the class easy. She explains the work in great detail, gives examples, and always keeps the class entertained. Definitely take her!

professor K is a very nice teacher. She explains things in grave detail and always has time to answer your questions. Professor K is always on time and gives you the tools that are needed to survive in the real world. She is the best and I plan on taking her again. Thanks professor K

I never rate but had to just for this professor b/c she is BY FAR the BEST professor I've had. She speaks in your same language, makes the class super fun, is hilarious, is going to keep a smile on your face, and is going to make it a class you look forward to everyday. She doesn't give A's out. But you can tell she wants the best for her students.

She's a really good teacher makes lectures interesting and funny. Doesn't give much homework except for a couple papers throughout the semester definitely look out for her if you need a communications class

Professor Kalfyan is very funny and her teaching style and lectures are very easy to follow. There will be group activity throughout the semester, so how well you work with people will help your grade. For the midterm and final is only 20 words to remember, so as long as you show up to class and do the work you can pass with an A.

Prof. Kalfayan has a unique teaching style, really catches your attention and gives positive or negative criticis to better your Voice and Diction. Show up, complete her assignments and study for 10 minutes each day with vocabulary and phonetics toward the end leading up to the final. You have an A and learned an interesting way to share your voice

Very sweet lady. She is very knowledgeable. She brings comedy and bounciness to class and has a awesome and funny attitude. She does have you read out loud in class but she lets you do it from your seat, which is great. Do the diction practices at least 10 minutes every day and you will do fine. STUDY VOCAB WORDS!!!!

I took Prof. Kalfayan's class over the summer & I loved it. Which says a lot because I really didn't want to be in school for the summer but she made it worthwhile. She's such a good professor! She is very nice and funny. I recommend her to everybody I know. She has definitely helped me with public speaking. As long as you do your work you'll pass.

She was the best professor I've had so far. She is so funny and is always understanding in case you have to leave class early. She responds to emails quickly. Her lectures are great and she is always cracking jokes throughout it making it super fun.

Its an Essay A, she gives group projects which were easy, the midterm & final exam is fill in the blank. she made the class interesting.

Professor Kalfayan is awesome. Always makes the class interesting and always gets a good discussion going. If you do your work and show up to class you'll get an A. Not a very tough grader but you'll learn a lot. I can say without a doubt I'm a better public speaker because of her. I recommend taking any class she teaches!!

Prof. Kalfayan was amazing & taught things that applied to life in the long run. Her assignments were fun, she was a good teacher, encouraged participation and worked with you if you needed further assistance. Although her midterms are a bit difficult, her final was well put. She was enthusiastic about her studies and I am satisfied with the class

Obviously you're going to have to present a lot bc its a comm class. She gives time off from class for students to study for tests. Her final was REALLY hard so make sure you study for it. Professor Kalfayan is the best! I had her for a 3 week session. Although we moved a quick pace, you still learn! With the textbook its just a connect code and the ebook that comes with. It was a very nice class. Would take her again!

I loved taking Kalfayan's group discussion class I decided to take her again for Voice and Diction. She is a very easy grader, sweet, funny and caring about all students (unless you come in late and don't do her work.) The only tough thing about the class was her final. Study for phonetics.

Professor Kalfayan is funny and surprisingly lenient when it comes to make ups. The class was useful if you struggle with your speech in any way. The assignments are easy and can be done way ahead of time if you want because they are all outlined in the textbook. The final was a little hard so make sure you ace all the other assignments.

AMAZING class and professor. I thoroughly enjoyed taking her class. Though it is a speech course, she made giving the speeches very easy and helped each and every one of us actually become better.

Such a fun class. Very discussion-oriented and she gives great feedback. I was able to greatly fine-tune my presentation and public speaking skills throughout the semester. Show up to class prepared and make sure you practice your speeches with a timer and have a good outline. Highly recommend her class.

EXTRA CREDIT is there, easy grader, 4 easy reaction papers to write and one reaction paper. I will recommend everyone to take her. You won't fail.

Very nice lady! She assigns you a question from the homework to answer in class! Answer them all you will see them on the online exam. She goes over all her Power Points in detail and is concerned if you understood or not! You will need the book and you will be using it. You will learn in this class and have one paper. I would take her class again.

A wonderful professor! She responds quickly to emails and gives great feedback. For the speeches, if you do not feeling comfortable with public speaking, she allows you to present before class so that there won't be as many people hearing your speech. Overall an interesting class that I gained a lot of experience from!

She was ok. She gives 3 test and you def need the $110.00 book to assist. She gives a final paper that is 6 pages long, and even cool to have you redo i,t if you send it to her early for feedback. She is good!

She provides informative video lectures and clearly outlines assignments and expectations. Workload isn't too demanding. Good professor overall that communicates with her students and makes herself available. I had her for Comm111, too, and she was just as good.

Took her to fill my comms credit and she was by far 1 of my favorite teachers. She makes you feel welcomed in the classroom and will understand if something came up that caused you to turn something in late. You simply cannot fail the class unless you just don't do any work or show up!

I love love loved Professor Kalfayan. I really enjoyed taking her class and would highly recommend. She is an even balance of fun and making sure you're getting your assignments done / properly preparing for group discussions/presentations. She is very flexible and a very fair grader.

Her lectures are entertaining she always has something to share to her students. Very simple straightforward class with two in person speeches.

This is one of the easiest classes I have ever taken. She is so caring and passionate. I am going into the health science field of communication science and disorders- this course helped shape my understanding. All you have to do is complete all your work and gather knowledge from some research, her video lecs or the text to aid with assignments.

Her lectures are interactive. Its refreshing to have a class with an open dialogue while still learning so much. Love the way she teaches. As long as you go to most of the classes your attendance grade will be fine. Workload good. Do work on time email if extra time is needed she's flexible and reachable. WCC needs more professors like her.
