Hard course. Fun and interesting thanks to Bacha
No Comments
great teacher!!!!
Her practicals were extremely hard and covered too much info at one time...her lecture tests w ere ok because she gave sample tests which you could review...shes hard and expects you to know everything, no matter how much info she gives you.
She's very thorough. you need to pay attention and study hard. She jokes around alot. She really knows her stuff. It's worth taking her if your serious about pursuing a medical career. She's a good teacher.

great professor but her lectues were full of info. But that is expected.
Awesome professor, very pleasant. I had her for both I&II. Her tests are quit long and have a lot of info on them. Yu work hard in that class, but you learn alot from her. It is definaltey a benefit to have her.
Dr. Bacha is excellent! I took her Human A&P class online, and loved the class. There is a TON of info to cover, but if you study and take the quizes, you will do fine. Such a nice lady. I would recommend her to anyone that needs to take Anatomy. She's the best!!!
Great Teacher! Lectures very well organized and very interesting and she does an excellent job of explaining the material. Tests were somewhat difficult, however. Be prepared to work.
Excellant teacher. Gives all the info you need to pass her class. You need to study, though. Lectures well and keeps class interesting. Wish all my teachers were like her.
You must study in this class! Very tough class. But the teacher gives you all the info in packets, you only open the book for pictures. REALLY FUN CLASS! Really nice teacher.
Dr. Bacha is a very cool professor, she takes the time to explain everything very clearly, and is veryful helpful if you have any questions or just need some clarifications on any subject. If you have to take a human anatomy or regular anatomy class, she is defintely the teacher that you want to get.
Dr. Bacha is a great professor. She makes things clear and concise. She is very fair and will do anything to help you as long as you to the work
Professor Bacha is an amazing professor. She explain things so that you are not lost when it comes to what you are learning. You must study for her test though because they are not all the easy. If you can get her, you will be set..you will not be disappointed. Im going to take her for A+P II because she is that good and she is nice and helpful!!!!
Four words....PROFESSOR BACHA IS AMAZING!!!! Her teaching style is awesome. She makes its so everyone can comprehend such a hard and intense subject. She cares for her students. I really enjoyed her class and Im taking her for A+P II. If you can get her you will not be disappointed. Her tests maybe hard, but if you study, you will be fine!!!!
I really enjoyed her teaching tech. she gave out outlines and took her tests right from them no surprises.
Dr. Bacha is one of the best professors I've had at CCC, hands down. She breaks complex definitions down and makes A&P very understandable. She provides wonderful notes (which you fill in the blanks - great learning tool) and her tests are straight from the notes. Wonderful, wonderful lady, wish I'd had her for A&P 1!
Professor Bacha was the best teacher ive had at CCC. I had her for A+P I and II. She explains things to you in a way that everyone can understand and she is always willing to help her students. Make sure you study a lot! I really enjoyed her class..I learned a lot and I know it will benefit me for nursing..Thank you Dr. Bacha...your the best!!
Dr. Bacha is a wonderful professor. She does a wonderful job of breaking down such a complex subject, and is always very good natured. She always goes out of her way to help her students and while her tests are hard, she gives you the tools that you need to do well. I highly recommend this professor for A&P.
Not only one of the best teachers at CCC, probably one of the best teachers I have ever had. Loves to teach, wants you to learn, and do well. Attend class, pay attenction, and stay for the whole lab and you will do very well
Great professor. Does everything she can to help shed light on difficult subjects and goes above and beyond to make sure the student has every opportunity to learn and do well in her class.
Dr. Bacha is one of the best if not thee best professor I ever had. The way she breaks down anatomy and physiology makes a complex subject seem very understandable. I'm an athletic training student and what I learned in her class carried over to my current major. She's funny and a great great professor!! If u really wanna learn A&P I&II the right way take bacha. I still use her notes to this day!! her test and practical are challeging but if you study and pay attention you will defenitely pass!!
extraordinary! Wish all professors are like Her!
Great teacher, she has her class mapped out perfectly, you are responsible for a packet for every chapter, but are able to use them on your quizzes. Tests questions are only whats on the packets, so you know exactly what to study, practicals are the same way she tells you exactly what to study. Still a challenging course but she makes it dueable
Drop. her tests are hard and she only gives 3 per semester and lab precticals are only worth 6% of your grade.. so if you fail one test good luck trying to get your grade back up. AP1 was easy for me and i ended up withdrawling from this class.
I had her for A&P1. A&P is a hard class no matter what teacher you have but prof Bacha does an excellent job of making it as easy as possible but making sure you know the material at the same time. She is extremely organized and really knows her stuff. she is very nice & pleasant. I would definitely recommend her.
LOVE her. Don't get me wrong, it's not an easy subject to begin with. But if you can't get at least a B from her then you should consider another profession. She's an excellent teacher, and really breaks it down to make sure everyone understands the subject. Absolutely amazing really.
Exellent teacher!!!!!!
Prof. Bacha is "THE BEST" can not find a more helpful and dedicated teacher who wants to see you SUCCEED!!! Prof Bacha goes ABOVE AND BEYOND to make the class fun and MOST OF ALL easy to comprehend...CAN NOT get any better than Prof Bacha...she should be nominated for OUTSTANDING PROFESSOR of the YEAR !!!
BEST INSTRUCTOR EVERRRR!!!
Very good teacher. You will print out outlines for every chapter and fill them in. Test comes EXACTLY from the outlines. Alot of info and class can be challenging but if you study info given, you will be fine. Labs are used to go over models that you will be tested on for practical. She's always there for help and answers any questions. Take her!
Best Teacher EVER!!! She seriously is amazing at teaching. She is extremely helpful and is always there if you have any questions or concerns.
Professor Bacha is the BEST teacher I have ever had! I am supper diapointed that I can't take her for A&P II! She provides outlines for every chapter. Study the outlines and you're sure to do well! I deff recommend this professor. Why are you wasting time reading this? Register for her class before there isn't anymore seats!
Professor Bacha is the BEST teacher I have ever had! I am super disapointed that I can't take her for A&P II! She provides outlines for every chapter. Study the outlines and you're sure to do well! I deff recommend this professor. Why are you wasting time reading this? Register for her class before there isn't anymore seats!
she is very nice you come to class she plays these power points reads off them doesn't give examples. Draws things that you already have pictures of.Read the book teach yourself you will do great. I like when teachers make class interesting not read i know how to read. She does not curve or give extra credit
She's great! She gives you outlines you fill them in and everything is on the test. She's very smart and helpful, I would highly recommend her. She's also really funny and makes class interesting.
Dr Bacha is amazing, probably the best teacher on earth. She goes above and beyond to prepare for class, to keep current, and to make complicated concepts clear and interesting. She is always patient to answer questions. She is a very hard working professor. She is also fun and funny! She provides all the tools needed for success in this course.
I took A&P 1 and 2 with her. She is GREAT but the material is hard and you have to read, answer the outlines and independently search for additional material(illustrations, videos and dissection pictures)about the systems discussed in class if you really want to succeed in this courses. Make sure you draw + study every drawing she makes!
Dr Bacha is an amazing professor, with a great sense of humor. My favorite teacher of any class I've ever attended. She will give you everything you need to succeed, but you will have to work for your grade. Listen to all her suggestions, do the drawings, attend class, and study daily. Follow this advice and you should be able to get an A.
Dr. Bacha is very sweet, but her A&P 1 class was basically self taught. She does not go into details with everything so you're expected to know all the material. Her tests are 80% of your grade, so failing one will result in a C if you can't bounce back. I personally do not like self taught classes, so I won't be taking her again.
Dr. Bacha was a very sweet professor. I did not like her class only because all she did was give us packets to fill out and the next class give us a quiz on the material. I don't learn very well from this way. She was very funny and caring, but if you don't like filling out packets and teaching yourself, she is not the professor you want to take.
At first I was not a fan of the teaching style, felt I was being talked to not taught,But as time went on I found her packets to be extremely helpful in not only providing the info we would be tested on but organizing the material in a clear way. No A&P class is easy due to the content. make note cards from her packets as you go along&do prac tests
To start off: I absolutely hate that her tests are 80% off your grade. She is a very nice woman and definitely knows her stuff, but I just think that her way of teaching is just incompatable with my style of learning. I wasn't a fan of the fill in the blank notes. She is very professional and can be very strict.
This professor doesn't teach at all. She just reads powerpoints from the book. I already know how to read, I'm not paying to be read to when I'm more than capable. Exams are 80% of your grade, thats about 30% too much. Practicals are 15% and short quizzes 5%. This class is self taught if you take Bacha. I say with a heavy heart, do not recommend.
Dr. Bacha is a really sweet professor. She does everything to prepare students for exams and lab practicals. As long as you pay attention in her class and study the outlines, there's no way to fail the course. Also don't talk when she's talking (it annoys her) and if caught texting she deducts 1 point from your final grade
IF you have these professor RUN. She hands out packets you have to fill out, which is ridiculous. You are doing nothing, but memorizing 50-75 pages per test. You really don't have the time to study all the pages, especially if you're a full-time college student with a job. Her lecture everything off the packet. Her labs are ridiculously long
She is the best. I don't see how one could dislike her. Its an anatomy course. You must work for your grade. So yes she does give out packets of notes that you fill out. She gives quizzes which are word for word from the packets that you get to use. She gives you a stuff to know list for the lab practicals. She has practice exams on her site too.
Taking AP I with Prof. Bacha was just amazing. Clear criteria for class. Some concepts could be confusing but she made it so you could understand. The exams weren't that hard but you must study really hard to get a good grade. The lab packets have a "Stuff to Know" for lab practicals. Open note quizzes - easy A. Exams are 80 perc. grade STUDY HARD!
Taking AP-2 with dr. Bacha was arduous. Cool class,Bland subject. concepts are tedious but she tries her best. The exams are brutally, viciously hard YOU MUST study really hard from TEXTBOOK to get good grade. The lab packets have a "Stuff to Know" for lab practicals(200 items). Opennote quizzes are your attendance. Exams are 80% grade STUDY HARD!
I just had Dr. Bacha for A&P I. She's awesome! She gives chapter outlines to do at home & lets you use them for quizzes. It helps you keep up with the material instead of cramming last minute & then being upset you got a bad grade. She also tells you exactly what's going to be on the exam, & explains material and draws pictures for easier learning.
Dr. Bacha is probably one of the sweetest professors I've had ! She honestly cares about your understanding of the material ! but her tests are very tough and count 80% of your grade which is a lot! Make sure your ALWAYS STUDYING the outlines otherwise you just won't pass. She also gives out open book quizzes at the beginning of almost each class!!
Bacha is an amazing teacher. I wouldn't have took the time out of my day to write this if she wasn't . She really makes it easy for you to understand the material. You HAVE to study to earn your grade, just memorize the study guides she gives you and you'll get an A ! I love this professor, and would love to take her again!
If you get her. Drop drop drop. She is the worse teacher I've ever had. Touch grade and tests are even more tough. I've warned you. Almost all of my class failed with her. No help. She teaches off of outlines you fill out before the class. Be prepared to spend all your time on this class to only receive a d.
Would never take her again. Worst professor I've ever had. Tests are SO difficult and count towards 80% of your grade. She barely goes over material so you have to basically teach yourself everything. You must memorize at least 3 packets (20 pages each) for each exams. I DO NOT RECOMMEND!!!
TESTS ARE 80 PERCENT OF YOUR GRADE NOT 30%
Great prof. Heavy materials. Tests are not difficult if u really study. Advice: organize & simplify the materials before study; pay attention to Dr. Bacha's drawings and summaries; write down new words; make ur own summary; be proactive. I'm an ESL student and almost every word in the book ismy new word but I still got an A in this class. So u can.
TEST ARE ACTUALLY 95% OF YOUR GRADE. LAB PRACTICALS ARE EXAMS TOO YOU KNOW. ALTHOUGH 5% OF YOUR GRADE ARE BASICALLY FREE GIMME-QUIZZES YOU CAN USE THE PACKET FOR.
She's marvelous. Bacha provides outlines - fill them out, study them thoroughly, and you'll pass. She's a sweetheart (her blurbs of encouragement in the packets are adorable). She's not everyone's cup of tea, as she's lecture-heavy, but she knows what she's talking about. I'm excited to take her again for AP2. Her classes fill up QUICK; get in ASAP
Difficult course and this is a self taught class. You'll be getting packets for each chapter to fill out and you need these packets for quizzes. you can use your packets for quizzes so it's a gimme but when the exam hits, start praying. too much material to memorize and the exams are 80% of your grade.
A&P isn't a essay A class, you need to work hard for it. I've taken Dr. Bacha for a&p 1 and currently in her a&p 2 class. She explained her lecture very well. She does lots of drawing which help me so much during studying. Her sense of humor makes the class not boring at all. She's the best!
Not a bad professor at all. Her workload has a lot of material you need to know, but she doesn't tell you what's needed and what's not on her 24 pages of outlines. Take her if you have the time and not with a total of 4 classes. Other than that, you'll pass. Tests are worth 75 percent, study the outlines as soon as you complete one before another!
You have to teach yourself the insane amount of material you're given. It's frustrating having spent all of your free time studying for the class to only get a D. She's a cool lady though.
Her classes were tough, and you had to put in a lot of work, but that's with any science class. She is such a great person, and she wants everyone to do well. I wouldn't have wanted to take my a&p classes with anyone else and I highly recommend taking her.
Absolutely one of the best professors I have ever had. Really cares about her students and passionate about the material. Very clear what is expected of you. As long as you're willing to study, you'll do well on her exams - they aren't easy, but they are definitely fair. Exams determine 95% of your grade, so make sure you do well on them!
I will start by saying she was such a nice person. But the amount of what she requires you to learn, half excess, is actually too much and partially useless. You are not clear on what will be on your exams to the point you are overstudying, and then it was a waste and confusing. Outlines are busy work. It should be more clear and concise.
She's a great professor. I took her ap1 and currently taking her ap2. She has a sense of humor. She does use the textbook, but she did her notes for every chapter. She loves drawing, which I like it. Sometimes she cuts down some of the study materials from her outlines. You only need to study her outline for her exam and study hard by all means.
Super nice, but gives an excessive amount of things that need to be known, doesn't clarify exactly what will be on exams so you tend to over-study. Miss class, don't study, don't do notes and you'll most likely fail. Study everything talked about, do notes, show up to class and you should be okay. Despite the level of difficulty, would take again.
Awful. Don't take her. You will literally have to teach yourself. Lectures are her reading off packets of notes that you have to fill out and have a quiz before every single class using those notes. I learned nothing.
DROP IT NOW!!! Shes a doctor and cant teach at all. Who just reads off the packets and then gives you the answer from the book. Worst teacher by far. Tests are 80% of your grade. Practicals are ridiculous, she doesnt let you record her lecture. Accused me of cheating on her practical. By the way I never cheated and ended up failing the class.
Shes a doctor and when someone in my class asked her a question about what we were going over she simply said idk we can look it up when we go to the lab. She gives you packets to fill out and reads right off or them in class. Doesnt let your record her lecture. Practicals are ridiculous and so are the tests since she doesnt tell you whats on them
Chapter outlines provided for each section that the lecture is based off of (her notes were comprehensive enough that I barely felt the need to take my own in class). 5% of your grade comes from completing the outlines. The other 95% is test-based (lecture exams and lab practicals). There's a lot of material, but that's the case of any A&P class
Took her A&P118, wish I had had her for 117. Do the packets using the textbook, they are in order. Show up to class and highlight what she discusses and draw the diagrams (they'll help you understand). Start studying days before the exam it is a lot of material.
She's sweet, but her class is very difficult. She gives a TON of homework. Her lecture outlines are the homework & the study guide. Each outline is about 20 pages long. Each test consists of 4 chapters. She does not tell you what is on the exam, so you have to study the homework/outlines and hope you remember the right material.
Her teaching style is tough love. A & P is not an easy class, but she does her best to give students the foundation they need to further understand the concepts. Quizzes are frequent but open notes. Lab practicals and exams can be tough but that is to be expected. She grades assignments in an acceptable amount of time. She has good handwriting too.
Great teacher. Took online A&P I with her and really enjoyed the course. I was skeptical about taking an online A&P course but as long as you put in the work this class is a breeze.
Professor Bacha is an okay professor. Theres no help to boost your grades, and if you dont do so well on the test or quizzes you will practically fail. Shes not that helpful and insists you look at outlines and thoroughly go over notes again to understand material. She doesnt really care to make sure you understand the material.
Awful professor and would not recommend to anyone. A&P is a class where you must be willing to work hard, we all know that. However, I shouldnt be working 10x harder to learn the material just because my professor doesnt want to teach for the online class. I heard from her once a week and thats it. Was not available to answer any questions.
Had to take this course online because of Covid. However she still made it a learning environment. The material is tricky but that is expected going into things. I would 100% recommend taking this course with Professor Bacha!
Do not take this class you are graded by 8 things 4 test and 4 lab practicals. You do outlines and study from them however, they barley match the material on the test. All test are timed example 1 min per question.
Graded on 4 exams & 4 labs. Nothing else. Class is content heavy. Listen to the lectures and do the book outlines otherwise no chance of passing. Tests are difficult, questions can be worded weird w/ not enough time per question but got A's on 3/4. Only take this class if you are a strong self learner and already have a basic understanding of a&p.
Although taken as an online course, one could tell, through narrated Powerpoints and email exchanges, that Dr. Bacha genuinely cares about her students' success. Be mindful that this class is exceedingly content-heavy, and, therefore, requires plenty of study time and patience. However, with motivation and persistence, earning an A is possible.
This was an online class in which you need to be prepared for the work load but Dr. Bacha had amazing narrated presentations that you can listen to and follow along with the outline that she provided. Only graded on four tests and four practicals so you need to make sure to study the material
This was a 7-week Summer course. It is fast-paced. You have to be willing to put the work in because there is a lot of content in a short time frame. I was working full time and moved while taking this course so I believe anyone has the capability to succeed if they put the work in. Dr. Bacha was responsive and always got back to me promptly.
