Linda myers is a good teacher who helps out her students alot. she explains things clearly, and helps the students with his/her needs. i would recommend myers, her assignments maybe hard, but i really learned a lot from her class.

If u want to learn to write, ms. myers will teach you, but she's strict about attendance. You write in almost every class, so the homework is not bad.

Ms. Myers is friendly and likes her students. She says college is hard on grandmothers because so many of them die when your first paper is due. She seesthrough lame excuses and doesn't put up with tardies. Good teacher

Ms. Myers is a highly recommended teacher. She is nice and dedicated to the art of english. She is helpful and approachable. If you are not that good at writing she will help you get better. Never makes you feel dumb so dont worry about that. Got an A in the class and so can you if you do all the work and read when given. Great teacher.

i took her over the summer. she's one of the best eng profs. we were suppose to write 4 essays but she cut one out cause she thought it was too much. she really does teaches you how to write. highly recommended! =)

loved my 300 class. Ms. myers promised to make research papers seem easy and she came through. you have to pay attention because her instructions are pretty detailed. She lets you rewrite papers until you get the grade you want. That was cool.

mrs myers is my favorite professor. she makes you read alot. but she is will take the time to help you with your writing. she seems hard at first but softens up when you show her you're serious.

Professor Myers is very easy as long as you studied for her class. Your attendance counts. She is very boring and makes you want to go to sleep, but she is cool. For the first half of the semester, she doesn't count grammar, but towards the end, she does. She looked mean at first, but she really isn't. Take her class.

She is very nice and understanding. First week of class she sounded mean but she is really cool. She takes things slow and step by step. I would definately recomend her. Not alot of essay envolve so i loved that!

I never Imagined I'd learn so much or that i could get a good grade in English. Mrs. Myers takes a step by step approach and teaches you to write a long research paper easily. I really like the class, and would recommend Myers.

The class is easy if you follow directions. Even if you screw up, she will probably give you a second chance to fix it. Be there, be on time, and turn off the cell phone. She makes you take an absence if your phone rings.

She is an awsome teacher. I love her style of teaching which realy helps the students learn. What I loved the most is that rough drafts are due a week prior to finaly, this allowed me to stay on track and I am a horrible procrastinator. Thanks Myers.

She is a University level English teacher. We wrote 4 essays w/ peer reviews, in class writings & the final is a 8-10 pg., research paper with a live PowerPoint presentation. The workload was easy if you are a decent writer but if you are not, you will suffer. We rarely used the book & attendance is mandatory. I liked her & I would take her again.

She is a teacher who enjoys what she does and knows how to teach...she does return hw late,,,but ask and she will assist you. I learned so much from her and very thanksful for the toughness..she is intimidating ...but if you want to learn..and hv the time to wrk for it..take her class..=)

If your going to goof off, go somewhere else. but if you want to learn to write well, Mrs. Myers is very helpful. She hates cell phones and makes you take an absence if it rings. There were many As and Bs in the class. If you fail it's because you screwed up.

i'm not very good at grammar but Myers explained things in a way i never heard before. she had us work in groups outside of class to do our homework together. it helped alot.

I'm expecting at least a B+, but thats cuz I pay attention and do more just turn in something for a grade. Ms. Myers makes everything clear, sends us her powerpoints and eases up after you show her you are serious. good teacher

This will not be an easy A unless your an amazing writer. She's strict with attendance, but lenient with due dates. I have so much respect for her. She improved my writing ten fold, things may seem weird when you first start but it is well worth the work!!! I would happily take her again!!!!!

I worked for my B but I learned alot. She's promised tthat each step will lead to the next and if you pay attention it does! My writing really got better. This is the second class I've taken with Myers. She's doesn't put up with much disrespect in class. But if you're honest and step up to the responsibility, she goes out of her way to help.

She is very strict with cellphones and computers in the classroom which i enjoyed. The class had a total of 4 assignments for the entire semester so we got a lot of really in-depth instruction on how to write an effective paper. She is pretty lenient about due dates as long as you get it in sometime. I recommend taking her class to anyone who asks.

I was in a class with a bunch of roudy disrecpectful children. Ms. Myers worked hard to make sure the rest of us had a chance to learn something.

I like that she lets us rewrite papers to get better grades, and she tells you what needs to be fixed. The class wasn't easy and she doesnt like us to write you in papers, but I learned alot.

Great teacher. Always extremely encouraging. She actually cares about the papers she gives, gives help on how to fix them, and even gives students the opportunity to rewrite for a better grade. The people that don't like her are the ones that didn't use the opportunity. And for the record, the word "you" shouldn't be in a collegiate paper... ever.

Loved the class. Came from a UC to take it. It's the last English class I have to take and it was actually fun. Summer is hard cuz it is short, but the reading was fun and the papers were short. Do the reading cuz the reading quizzes count alot. Prof. Meyers has a great sense of humor and makes the stories interesting.

I do not understand how her rating is so LOW. SHE IS A FANTASTIC TEACHER! I love her! She is really helpful; at first she was strict, but she starts warming up to everybody. I previously had Prof. Romero and he gave me a "D", but I took her class and received an "A". She helps a lot if you ask for it. She really cares about the class progress. :)

She is a strict, yet helpful. Quizzes seemed easy, but it consisted of many trick questions, so be careful. Tests were easier. I received either a good or bad grade on essays, there's no in between. She wants you to learn and everything to be fair. Books were easy and fun to read. I learned a lot in this class and received a B which is fair enough.

I absolutely loved Professor Myers. She starts out strict, absolutely no cell phones (I would either shut off my cell phone completely or just leave it at home). Make sure to do all the readings for the novel she assigns. My essays went from crap to solid by the end of her course. It's hard work but it definitely pays off. She's funny too!

Professor Myers is a wonderful teacher. I was horrible at essays with little detail in my context and unorganized paragraphs but by the end of the class my essays improved drastically. She is strict at first (absolutely no cell phones) to scare away kids but she loosens up and is funny too! It will be hard work but you will thank her in the end!

I took this class with the assumption of it being easy but I was wrong. Although I learned alot from Myers, i do have to say that she gives alot of writing assignments. Reading Quizzes + Journals (Essays) are decenteasy as long as you read the novel.2 In class essays, which are also easy. And then you have Midterm + FInal+Research Essay.

Best English class ever! Daily lessons and then we practice the skills. The class is in a computer room so Prof. Myers can monitor our work and give instant feedback. I'm learning so much. I wll take another with her.

Class was basically just 3 essays. Lots of notes but they are helpful while writing papers. First day she seemed like it was going to be a tough semester but as long as you do the work how she asks, you'll get a good grade

I liked this English class. It was kind of step by step. It looked like alot of work in the beginning but the 2nd half of the class was all parts of one research paper. Mrs. Myers is nice and helped me alot outside of class. She keeps snacks in her office for students. My boyfriend is taking her reading class and he likes her to.

I hate to write but Myers does a step by step project and lets you revise til you get the grade you want. No extra credit but if you turn in everything you don't need it. She always remined us we were doing universityn level writing. I liked the class and will take Myers for the next one.

Professor Myers is great. No textbook used and only one quiz. A couple papers and one big project that she breaks down. Great examples, if you do your work on time, you will pass. Great great

Professor Myers is a very lenient professor. She seemed like she was going to be strict at first but the class itself was actually not that difficult. You are working on one project throughout the semester step-by-step, with a couple of in class assignments and one in-class essay. She pushes back due dates occasionally to help her students pass.

Loved her class! It consisted of primarily a semester research project which was separated into parts which made it very easy. She was great at always offering help to those students that she thought needed it. She grades very leniently. Few extra credit opportunities. Cannot miss more than 2 classes. Only one quiz in the semester. Great teacher!!

Prof Myers is serious and dedicated to her class being competent and capable of handling their assignments essays and critical thinking strategies not so much as for that class but to prepare you for a complete college education endeavor, this class prepares you for your college career future. I highly recommend it early in your college career.

Dont drop the class. I promise she sizzles down! She comes off crazy strict and low key psycho but after a few weeks she chills out and this class becomes pretty mellow. A few small papers but the majority of the class is working on the final paper and thats it. But she hates phones, dont be late, and dont leave her class early.

She's a great professor. The class might seem hard at first but I promise you if you go to every class and turn in your assignments you will pass her class. Don't drop her class. We didn't have to take any quizzes or finals either. Two major essays and a powerpoint predestination and that's it mostly. Take the 108 class to it helps&is a easy A

One of the sweetest individuals ever! The class may seem like a lot at first, but its actually really easy if you dont drop it and comeplete all your assignments. 1 big project, but you work through it over the course of the semester (Final paper + Final Presentation). She truly wants the best for her students and provides a lot of outside help.

I took english 300 and plan to take 302 w/prof. meyers. She's a great teacher. She helps you understand why writing principals are important to college and makes it easy to learn by practicing techniques. Easy to follow steps if you turn in everythng.

professor Myers was such an awesome teacher. DO NOT use your phone in class because she will kick you out especially if its some Th omg the reoccurring everyday or every week. Also she teaches more so like older teaching style yes she uses powerpoints but she actually teaches whereas the other teachers Ive had were terrible

I got a B in a class I didn't think I could pass. Ms. Meyers teaches you to write for all your class and helps you build confidence. Participation assignments helps you get a good grade. Big assignments are broken down to small pieces. She gives you everything you need. I didn't have to buy a book. Pay attention in class, you'll learn a lot.

Myers essays are all part of one big project assigned in pieces. I thought at first that was silly but it works. I learned to write a big paper. She helps with the computer and canvas. Not much homework, just some reading. We wrote and revised bassed on workshops. I liked the class and would take Myers again.

Professor Myers provided excellent class materials and assignments for the short summer class. She introduced a theme that connected the various assignments together, and she used the theme well. This class was very well organized and followed a logical path to conclusion. I would image that this is a great full semester class.

Professor Myers uploads everything you will need on canvas. Prepare to do detailed and scholarly writing. Professor Myers does everything to prepare her students for academic writing. Very tough on attendance and tardies. Gives Extra Credit assignments. Always takes questions and is available during office hours. 100% recommend her.

After 3 absences you will be dropped, 3 lates is 1 absence. But I have seen her give grace to students who has been late or absent over 3 times. If your phone rings loudly you will be asked to leave and to take an absence. She does offer extra credit. This class was easy and so was the work you just have to put time into it. I would recommend!
