VERY EASY class, class lets out early everyday, 5 papers in which you write 3 pages each except the last 2 are 5 pages. she tends to focus on the past and future issues for papers. get her!

Unbelievably easy course, can't be better!

she's really nice and is willing to help you on your papers.....but her topics are crazy!!!...all about physics and the fourth dimension. i mean if your into that it's a great class for you!..but if not..i suggest to pick someone else...other than that she's cool!

Professor Neuer is a very cool professor, although many people may not like the material she teaches. She likes to physics and science material found in literature. If you're into that stuff then take her. She grades pretty fairly.

She is a great professor, she is fair and the class is fairly easy, however her topics are really weird. she focus on obscure works related to science and modern physics. so if you hate science avoid this class.

Her class is extremely easy and her assignments are graded easily.

This class is a workshop based class and you only meet her once or twice a week. She is a very nice lady and helps you look over your papers for mistakes. Take her! :)

Incredibly easy professor, class lets out like 30 mins early everyday. She likes weird things like time machines and quantum physics so the lectures are a bit odd, but she's freaking easy. I got an A+ =D TAKE HER!

She is so sweet!! Very nice woman! NOt to mention a piece of cake! I went to Dade and got a lower grade in ENC1102 because the teachers their suck! She is the best! You won't be sad!

Great proffesor, the only English teacher that fuses Science with Literature. Not only you learn to write, but to think logically

This professor is awesome, u get to leave early a lot, shes really nice and clear, and the books she assign r ez to read. I took her for Enc 1101 and 1102, got A+ in both. Highly recommended!

Very fun, loves science, so if you like science this would be the class to take.

She is a really nice teacher. It is easy to understand and knows how to explain. All her essays are based on heroes. she makes you buy a book and read it but you don't really have to becasue she explains every chapter in the class. All she talks about is the book and heroes. Sometimes it gets boring. You get to leave early a lot of times.

This Lady is VERy Good. the class an esay A if you show her you care. Material its not hard at all. You get to leave early most of the time, some days you dont even have to show up. I highly recomend her. She is helpful and cares about her students.

Very easy class, she is a nice lady and her class can be really short at times. Just make sure you write the essays and do her journals, which are a joke.

She is so goofy! Some kids make fun of her because she tends to stare at the wall when she teaches. But I love this teacher. She's very laid back and lets us out eary almost every day. In 1101, we only have to write four very easy essays and turn in some little journal entries that a three-year-old could write. I'm definitely taking her for 1102!

Some what difficulty in assignments if your looking for a real lax class this aint your cup of tea. altough she is very helpful and clear about assignments and understanding.

She's a total sweetheart (just don't push her buttons). She cares about helping you pass & w/ anything you need. Her classes last 45 minutes, & during draft workshops you only attend class once a week. There are about 3-4 papers to write (longest one is the final which is 7-8 pages long). Quizzes given for extra pts. Short stories for hw/quizzes.

Very helpful, the class isn't hard. Four papers and ten journals and she grades pretty easy. Laughs at anything and may show up about ten mintues lates every once an awhile.

Teaches 1101 and 1102. BEST TEACHER I HAVE EVER HAD!!!! Totally recommend her. She races to see how fast she can finish each day. Mainly consists of just a couple of paper but i have never had a better teacher in my life!!! THIS IS THE ENGLISH TEACHER TO GET!

I first took this teacher for ENC 1101 but she was so AWESOME STUPENDOUS GREAT and IMPECCABLE to say the least that I had to take her again for 1102. Anyways, this teacher counts the minutes for class to finish (lets out about 15 min into class the latest). Superrrrr easy grader. Probably the best english teacher at FIU for lower level.

She is very nice. A good teacher to talk to. She will help you if you need it and she does take attendance so try to come to her class.

Took ENC 1102 in the fall and she is very nice. class will last at most 15 minutes and you're out. Not such a tough grader but she does look A LOT at grammar.

Really easy class, 4 papers some quizes here and there from some readings she makes you do. But overall she's extremely helpful, nice, & a very easy grader. The best thing about her is you will only be in class for about 20 mins or less. I highly recommend her class it went by super fast.

She always lets out early. harshly grades essays. if you read from the book the night before you should be ok. in class she just reviews what was suppose to be read and lets you go. DONT MISS HER CLASS that really makes her upset.

She's wonderful, so fun to talk to. Her class is easy and you will learn to write a better essay. Your whole grade will consist of essay and 3 quizzes but she gives great feedback on your rough draft. The best thing is there is no test for the final, just an essay, I definitely recommend her:]

Great prof! she's very nice! class consists of 4 essays whose topics are somewhat clear. Class always ends before time and youre to write your essays at home. There are draft and editing workshops which help. i def reccommend! Take her if possible.

Amazing...usually does in class work which helps because there won't be any homework. She splits the class in two for group assessments meaning you only have to come for that certain day and Fridays are usually off unless you want to meet with her and talk about your essay. Extremely helpful and essays can be about anything you want!!!!!! :)

Proff Neuer is a sweetheart, she's always willing to help. She's also very understanding. Howver doesn't go so in depth about writing skills and what not. If you're trying to take a quick breeze by just passing this class and are not interested in majoring in English or writing then this is the best choice you can make! Very easy class.

took enc 1101 with her, the easiest class ever. 4 essays are your grades. Her lectures are boring, but everyone just play with their phones, so time passes quickly. I regret not choosing her for enc 1102. If you want an easy class you have to take her. I am the worst writer and i put in very little effort, i got a B in the class.

Professor Neuer was such an amazing professor. Although class time consisted heavily on her reading the book out loud she gave plenty of easy journals that count towards your grade. If I could I would take her again. Essays are easy if you take them to her on conference days you have a guaranteed A. Best English teacher by far highly recommend.

Incredibly sweet & helpful! Expect 4 papers (all of which have clear guidelines and are not too difficult). Do attend the essay workshops! They can very helpful on guiding you on your essays. Do the journals and turn in the essays on time & you'll be fine. Expect a group presentation & another at the end of the semester to present your final paper.

I loved Professor Neuer! She is so caring and understanding. The class was easy. All you have to do is show up, do the 3 essays and the journals and you basically have an A. If you miss an assignment because you're sick she'll understand, you just have to email her and she usually lets you submit the assign to her via email. Easy A.

Neuer's class is mostly based on reading short stories, poems, and one play, but you can get away with not reading mostly. Most of your grade will be three long papers, including one research paper, so get ready to write She's very accessible and although she takes attendance, she makes like half of the classes optional bc most work is at home.

Very sweet lady. Grades consisted of 2 essays, 1 final research paper, and a journal check and attendance. Syllabus says that missing class results in a lower participation grade so show up, it's pretty chill. She helps with your essay writing if you don't like the grade you get on your essays. Don't procrastinate on the essays and you'll be fine.

This class was super easy - I was confused why some people were confused or struggling. You're allowed to miss four times before it affects your grade and if you let her know, you won't be penalized. Class was a little boring at times, but her warm personality makes up for it. There's a lot of writing for the papers, but she isn't a harsh grader.

Not going to lie, class can be pretty boring, but if you care about your grade, take her. 3 essays including the last one being a 10 page paper. Also a PowerPoint presentation about your paper in front of the class and journals about stories that she discusses in class. Class isn't really hard, do your essays and journals and you'll be set.
