Well 1st off she is DAZED AND CONFUSED!!! dosen't take attendance yet knows who misses. If you want to learn please avoid, she speaks in her own political language thats hard to crack. If u don't mind wasting your time and money then go for it.
She's odd....the projects made no sense, but we all some how did them... She shows odd films, seems to know the subject, but not how to teach it.... If there's another option for you, take it.
I am a former student, now in Graduate school; Quest is an amazing professor, and her teachings helps me now, that I am doing my master; Pace students are too stupid to understand her class
You have to be a poli sci major to appreciate her. She is extremely intelligent although hard to follow sometimes because I think she assumes we know more than we really do. You learn a lot if you pay attention and show up to class.

One of those ppl that u cant tell if they're a genius or just plain retarted. Class is maddd easy though. She talks about the flavor of antifreeze, among other things and is really strange. but for an easy a, i guess shes worth it.
As a sesquipedalian stylist, her Monotonous polysyllabic vernacular is enough to put you to sleep! Not even the author of the dictionary would be able to compete with this lady! However she doesn't excpect U2 retain anything she says, so easy A in the end

absolutley abysmal shes simply cant teach, she goes on and on and on and on about the dumbest things u can imagine, she she makes up data, and doesnt let class participate guess she likes the sound of her own voice. she simply cant teach, DONT TAKE
GENIUS. don't expect to immediately understand what she says. taking notes is impossible and, in the end, useless anyway. the ONLY important thing is doing the projects; but MAKE SURE they are exactly in the format she wants it (font, spacing, etc etc).
I've had her for 2 poli sci classes, and sure, she does expect that you show up for class and do the project as she specifies, but where is the harm in that? She is cool, understanding and is an overall great teacher. Take her if you can!
I took this class on Saturdays and it was 6 weeks from 9-4:30 I thought that I was gonna kill myself because its impossible to understand her. But at the end it all paid off because she is a very easy grader, just come to class and try your best = A

She's a genius and this is why at first she is difficult to follow, but she gets to the point eventually. If you want to learn, take her and ask the right questions and it'll be WELL Worth the time. Projects are easy beyond belief.
I've taken 4 classes with her and I love her. The projects are easy, there practically almost done for you. I have a new found respect for this woman. She is a GENIUS! Take her!

If you have a pulse youi should get an A. Take her Saturday class. Sounds bad at first(9am to 4pm) but trust me. I never showed up before noon and only went to three out of the six classes and still got an A. She lets you sleep in class or read a magazine.
she's a great professor. i learned alot in her saturday (9-4) class about politics as a science. we also watched lots of movies. do your best on the projects, make an effort to 'befriend' her and ask her questions, and you will do fine.

She is so confusing. When you first go to her class you would not understand anything she says. Projectsare easy at first then she expects you to know everything about Politics. Show up to class...don't listen to the students who don't, you have a better chance at getting a A and not worry about it.

this professor is INSANE. i took the sat class and we did model united nations. it was hilarious, none of us knew what we were doing. if you want an easy A, def take her.sat class isnt bad at all. i went from noon-3pm every sat and i still got an A. 2 simple projects. she takes "attendance" hah

NO Attendance, NO Tests, NO HW, there are 4 projects and she excuses 1. Not exactly an easy A, but a solid A- or A is expected, but the benefits are huge because you dont have to listen to her nonsense every class.

Dr. Quest is the BEST! Although she is vague about what she wants for the projects, she is an excellent person. Highly intelligent and extremely helpful. I did not even get an A this class but still I LOVE HER. Had her for 3 classes...she really knows her stuff.

Dr. Quest is one of the best professors at Pace. Her students have consistently been accepted to the top graduate and law schools in the country and have moved on to highly successful careers in almost every field. Her teachings have inspired and lifted the intellectual and societal aspirations of so many students. Dr. Quest is a great teacher!

I worked my schedule around this prof because she is so easy. Never went to class, never did work untill the day a paper was due. Doesn't make any sense, but Easy A,A- and some classes are writing enhance...even easier. Boring but easy
Sometimes it can be difficult to understand what she is saying. But, this professor is very very very intelligent. I think that her brain is like a computer, so much information is stored there. She knows a lot of material. Its not a hard class and she is very helpful if you need to ask her anything.
Lectures are uninteresting; projects are not as easy and contain unclear instructions, extremely strict against Wikipedia use and will fail anyone using it, Writing Enhanced courses are the worst since she wants specific sentences and words rather than let a person make their own essay; Do not take!
God bless this lady. She is like an encyclopedia, that just spits data back at you. When going to her class it felt like a meeting addressing issues in society. I would recommend taking her.

One of the most intelligent professors I've ever had. The class was a joke. We had to do 4 projects, 2/4 in which she basically did for us. Take her if you're looking for an easy A. This was my first political science class, and was my major, but she completely turned me off to it.
Possibly the most intelligent person I have ever encountered. However, I really regret taking her class. I took two in one semester. While interesting and freakishly smart she seems bored with teaching and dictates endlessly to her classes about topics which are too loosely related to the subject. Dr. Quest is a great professor; and extremely intelligent. And the class is easy, just pay attention she tells you exactly what she wants. Attendance is not mandatory, but it couldn't hurt. If you're taking the class you should have a genuine interest in the subject anyway. An easy A yes, but don't discount the classes value because of that.

As one of her former students, I can honestly say that her value in either your knowledge of Political Science or life in general is not apparent until later... in some cases, MUCH later... for those of you who said she was easy or boring - you just was not LISTENING! you'll regret it sometimes later in life, I can guaranty that...
she gave us four projects that were fairly easy since she posted examples online. textbook not required. she has long lectures but they're quite interesting. she also had some type of a clip to watch every week which was nice. overall i'd recommend her. easy A as long as you do the work.
4 projects. 3 mandatory. You will be LOST. Does not explain how to do the damn projects. So i did the completely WRONG and still got a good grade. Wtf. No one comes to class after like 3 weeks cause you can get your friend to sign you in for attendance. No midterm or final. My advice: Skip class and get someone to sign you in you wont learn anythin
I'm a Political Science major but I hate her class. She basically rambles on for an hour or so... The projects given are very unclear bc/ she doesn't explain them very well. Tends to speak over people.
She is such a sweet lady but rambles on and on the whole class about random stuff and we watched documentaries...do not buy the tinder book u don't even read it...for attendance all u have to do is sign in and leave...you can pass the class by just doing the four projects and not attending class.
Dr. Quest is one of the most brilliant professors at Pace University. I recommend her to all Students. If you invest your willingness to learn, she will lead you to a level of knowledge that few others hold. Simply Brilliant. For most people she is over their heads. Yes--she is quirky but her intelligence and ability to teach supersede it all.
One of the easiest A's I've received in and learned ABSOLUTELY NOTHING. SO incredibly boring and hard to follow, but some will find her entertaining. But take her if you want an easy A, I showed up to class just to stay on the safe side but you don't even need to do that, just submit the project and your good!
Easiest A ever. You won't learn much. She's a completely boring professor. She gives 4 projects that she thinks are difficult but a 4 year old w/ an iPad, can do them. I got an A in this course. Take her if you need to improve your GPA, but you won't learn anything.
Has a few pet topics and stories and keeps repeating. Peevish about little things. Only advantage to all the repetition is you know what to parrot back. Quest assigns 3 projects for the entire semester. The first one is easy, but the last two do not have clear directions at all. I received a 100, 91, and 73, respectively, but "self-help" tests on Blackboard brought my grade to an 88. Somehow I still got an A though. Everyone passes. She talks too much though, but the easy A is worth it in the end.

I chose hilarious as a tag that describes this professor because it's funny how she keeps on talking about multiple things at the same time. I chose there for you because she will certainly be there to boost your GPA. If you have any interest in learning about this subject, don't take her, but if you want an easy class have at it. Make sure to bring your headphones and a snack. And don't buy the book.

This class is incredibly boring, and so is she. I showed up to her class maybe twice. and when i did I didn't pay attention at all. I studied with Dr. Quest some 40 years ago, so my memory of small details is somewhat lacking. She was instrumental to me in building the way I view politics and government. Her class was life-changing for me. I will never forget her.
Dr. Quest is the greatest political mind I have ever encountered. She is a genius. She is the best and most intelligent professor I ever had. She is a better teacher and understands politics better than my law school professors. If you pay attention to her she will fundamentally change the way you understand politics and the world.
She's very sweet and clearly knows what she's talking about, but it is really hard to follow her lecture in relation to Political Science. I was hoping this class would be a lot of group discussion, but it is pretty much all lecture.
Took this class fall 2017, its like a free credit class. 3 projects. just listen to her talk can use phone, laptop, do hw do we. you want in class, just be quiet. let her do her work, and you do yours lol. Basically show up and pass, sign in and just do 3 projects. DO NOT BUY TEXT BOOKS never used them/ financial mistake
Quest's a sweet professor who loves to lecture. You don't necessarily need to listen to the lectures because she'll keep going even if she's speaking to herself (but the lectures can be beneficial if you decide to listen). She can be confusing, although she's always there to help. Three projects determine grade/Books aren't necessary. Easy class :)
She will lecture for the entire class but it doesn't matter if you listen, all you have to do is hand in the three papers and you'll get a good grade. Don't expect to learn much of usefulness though.
She's very knowledgable on issues and up to date on political matters, however, she tends to get side tracked or ramble on about a subject that you won't know how you got on and cannot relate to the course material. Easy A, only three projects total Just show up, engage her every once and a while, and watch her videos.
Dr. Quest barely discussed 21st century politics (the class subject) and constantly went on tangents. Class was beyond boring and a waste of time. She was extremely unclear with project requirements and left the class guessing on what to do. Only upside to the class was I had time to work on other assignments during class time
She is extremely sweet, she has long lectures but as long as you do all the 3 projects following the template, you'll get an A+. She's very helpful if you come see her during office hours, and she's always open to questions. Just show up to class and sign in. It's a relatively easy class but it's really up to you on how you take advantage of it.
I really don't know what is happening during the lectures. Sometimes she'll go off on tangents about the most unrelated things. That being said, if you just want a good grade, she's a solid choice if you show up consistently.
Professor Quest goes on tangents, but it's impossible not to do well in her class. You only have to do three projects and she posts the templates on how she wants them done. You won't learn much but will get the gpa boost you need.

First off, if there is a book on her syllabus do NOT buy it. Her lecture is just her rambling nonsense for 3 hours, none of which is related to the coarse or makes any sense. You will learn absolutely nothing and be left frustrated. Just do the assignments and go to class and you will get an A....
Has a tremendous amount of knowledge and insight on all sorts of things relating to the course, though sometimes in an abstract sense.
Do not take her class if you want to learn something. Just don't. Your entire grade will depend upon 3 projects that she gives little to no instruction on how she wants it done. Nothing she talks about in class has any correlation to the projects. She rambles for hours and class has absolutely no structure. Terrible class.
