She teaches adults who want to learn what she is obviously passionate about. If you can't handle more than a PG rated movie, you probably can't handle her. She is very willing to help students after class you don't understand the material. She is a very compassionate person as well. Highly recommended for adult students

Very intelligent and helpful. Fun and friendly and since this was the first semester she taught since leaving a non-teaching job, she will continue to get better with time. Great teacher! She explains things clearly, answers any and all questions, is nice and funny. Also she seems to genuinely care if her students do well in her class and do well in their Biology 1010 class. At the end of classes she gave out a study guide to help study for the Biology 1010 final, which is very helpful.

Had a great time in her class. She is funny, and fair grading. She says her quizes will be harder than they really are, she actually reviews all the answers with you prior to taking the quiz. Most labs are interesting but short. I wish there was more hands-on work.

Linda is awesome, she explains things really clearly and is not afraid to say anything that is on her mind. Grade consisted of participation and quizzes (50/50). She posts review guides online so just study those and you will do great on the quizzes. Don't bother buying the book, I used it once and could have gone without it completely.

Excellent teacher. She makes the class fun. Explains things well and is very willing to help with any questions you have. Her quiz's aren't too hard and you get EC for putting a joke at the end. If she thinks a lab isn't worth doing in groups she'll do it as a class. I would HIGHLY recommend her.

Linda's quite a character. Uses crude humor and isn't recommended for sensitive people who get easily offended. She tells you everything you need to know and enhances anything you learn from BIOL 1010. Must attend every class and quiz every time, but accepts make-ups. Also attend her final review, it's everything you need to know for the final.

I LOVED LINDA! When I went to her class I felt like I was getting everything in a light, simple package, wrapped with this super quirky and awesome bow! She was hilarious and VERY informative because she was clear and simple in her explanations. She was very good at making the material relatable and easy to understand. Final Review saved my life.

It is almost impossible to fail this class because Linda cares about you passing. She is a funny lab teacher and she reviews everything so that you can be prepared. Linda restores my faith in college professors. She not only works with you every step of the way to actually help you pass, but she teaches to you so that you earn your grade as well. Every single concept my teacher failed to teach me in an hour, linda picked up the pieces in a 3 minute explanation.

She is the most funny, wonderful biology teacher you will get. Her quizzes are super easy if you read one page of her review once a week. She looks tough, but she is the most sweet teacher I have had! I loved her class and her personality!

Genius teacher. She knew more than my other teacher by a land slide. The only thing I did for this class was show up to every lab and do about an HOUR A WEEKS worth of homework. She gives you material to actually study off of. There is no reason you shouldn't get at least an A, but some people still manage to best themselves. Take this teacher.

She realizes that some of the labs a little stupid and doesn't make you do them all. She does however take the whole class time. She really wants you to succeed in your biology lecture and will go out of her way to help you pass your class.

Linda is hilarious. She talks about her hippie days, talked to us about her personal life, and likes to get to know us too. I can see where her humor could offend others though. She helps with study guides for regular BIO class. But prepare for dry lectures. Labs were not all that fun and only for about 20 minutes max.
