Oh my god! I loved every moment of this class, and every moment that Linda taught. She is an Angel on earth! Brilliant, kind, charismatic, an overall wonderful person who genuinely cares about her students. Also, she will always remember your name, even years after you are out of her class.

The class is a bit more "touchy feely" to my liking but she is still a very good teacher and covers her topics very well. I would recommend any of her classes.

I have never met an instructor more passionate about her teaching or more dedicated to her students' learning. I have a high respect for instructors in general, and I consider Linda to be truly a diamond among gems. I encourage anyone interested interested in learning and applying principles of communication to take any or all of her classes.

This is a life changing class. the way i look and talk to myself and others is changed significantly. she is an inspirational teacher, a ton of fun, and gives extra credit for bringing healthy snacks and water to class (and eating it of course!) highly recommended class for EVERYONE!!!

She is a good teacher and her classes are different but you learn alot about your self. There was no text book, she thinks there over priced. Attendance is part of your grade and you only get 3 unexcused but you have to contact her and tell her you will be gone. Communicatio is big in this class, but it's a fun class.

She is a wonderful instructor, who is willing to work with you if you are struggling. I can't wait until next quarter for conflict management with her.

Best teacher to take for a communication class. You do not have to buy a book for her class. She is a very nice and approachable teacher. The reviews that she goes over are the test themselves, so no hidden question that you have to worry about. If you have not taken this teacher then I suggest that you take one with her.

I took Intercultural Communication winter quarter of 2014. It was a life-changing class for me. Linda was a superb teacher who held us to high standards and ran her class like a job. Excellent class preparation. She made it relevant. Very respectful to students. I would take her again in a minute!

Taking Linda's Conflict Management class changed my life. She is amazingly generous with students (free oranges in class every day, a lending library of books to check out, a packet used for class). She is knowledgeable, compassionate, and holds high standards for our behavior and work. The skills I learned are priceless.

I think Linda is the best teacher at SCC. During my first fall quarter at SCC I was told that if you are going to take a communications class, take any of Linda's classes. She is amazing. She doesn't use textbooks because she thinks they are too spendy instead she uses cheaper packets. Super nice, very caring about her students:) Love her!

I hate early classes but I am taking a 7:15 class so I could have Linda as my professor. The course is challenging academically. There are lots of excellent and thought provoking assignments. You can get an A, but you have to do the work, also, as I said, there is extra credit to help make up days that you may miss for whatever reason. You can be absent as long as you communicate with her.

An absolute treasure of a professor, I have taken 2 classes of hers and I would love to make many more. She is caring, inspirational, and LOVES to teach. She really makes you feel welcomed and appreciated within the classroom. It is writing intensive but that contributes to a writing credit for your degree. She always has food in her class as well.
