She is very funny, knowledgeable, and easy to understand. Just study the notes for her tests and you'll be fine.

Dr. Veronie is a great professor! She has great examples and is so clear in her explanations! She's really funny too. Definitely take any of her classes!

One of my better teachers by far. Class can be a little hard, but keeping up with the readings help. She is very animated, fun at watch. Makes pysch fun and interesting. A VERY good class to take!

This class was a waste of my time. I learned this stuff in Human Dev. Her tests are rediculous. Things are missworded all of the time. she seems unprepared to be an educator. She is nice however and very understanding. If you study you will get an A.

Dr. Veronie is the sweetest woman. If you have problems with anything she can help. Her tests for this class were somewhat difficult but it's a 300 level course...what do you expect?! Have fun!

Veronie is an awesome professor! She's got an odd sense of humor at times and makes class interesting with all of her stories. Passing shouldn't be a problem especially on tests. If you think you know the answer go up to her and tell her everything you know and if your right she'll point out the best answer to choose from!

She knows her stuff. Read the chapters AND attend class. Any papers she hands out WILL be on the test! She does some neat in-class activities. Take advantage of classroom discussion- raise your hand once in a while!!! She's very easy to talk to in and out of class, and very helpful.

I love dr. veronie. she is by far the best teacher i've had. you actually learn stuff in her class. and she does NOT just read off of powerpoints. she knows what she is talking about and is great at explaining. i've taken all but one class of hers and only because it was full!!! you do have to study and i had to work for my A, but def. worth it!

crazy teacher. she'll raise an eyebrow and twist her mouth, fluctuate her voice to an extreme squeal and then to a disturbing depth. and she'll smack a table really hard to show how it startles people. not extremely hard but a way harder than most people in my class expected for a basic psychology course.

By far one of the HARDEST teachers i've ever had...but if you want to learn take her...she knows her stuff..i measn she wears fruid earrings...she worships Psych..you have to read the book and take notes on what you read or else you will do terrrible...but she's always up for helping you out.

Tests are very hard, you need to study to do good. Also, use your textbook. I've been having a lot of problems getting good grades in this class. Come to class every day, even though its not mandatory if you miss it you will be hurting on tests. She's helpful, so just talk to her if you need some help!

she's super nice. You really have to study for the tests, and don't cram, it's a bad idea. if you look over your notes after each lecture and AT LEAST skim the chapters, you'll be fine. You really have to pay attention though. Her tests can be a little difficult. If you've never taken a psychology course before this, STUDY!!!!

Here class is hard because the test are applied; however, she is the best prof in the psych dept! She is very enthusiastic about the material she is teaching and she is extremely nice. You have to attend class and take good notes. Even if you do not do that well on the exams she gives you easy points to make it up. I LOVE DR. VERONIE

I loved this class! I learned so much stuff. I got C's on all of the tests, but ended up with a B in her class. She'll boost up your grade if she knows you. She is the best teacher in the psych department

I really liked Dr. Veronie. Her tests are hard and she dosn't really go into any detail on her slides. You should take notes on what she is saying and not on the slides. She was also very helpful to me, but I still had a hard time learning from her.

I live for Dr. Veronie's classes and for Dr. Veronie. Nicest woman you will ever meet and genuinely cares about you and what is going on in your life. Tests are hard but i've had her now for 3 classes 2 more next semester and I've gotten As in all classes. TAKE HER!

She is a great teacher as long as you want to learn. YOU HAVE TO READ THE WHOLE BOOK if you want a decent grade. Her lectures are always interesting, but not nessicarily about test material. If you are genuinely interested in the material, she's the best teacher in the department.

She is the kindest professor I've ever had and she not only cares about your grade, she cares about YOU. She's a little eccentric, but, as long as you pay attention in class, she does give you the information for the test. The tests are designed so that you must UNDERSTAND the material, not just spit facts back out.

I live for Dr. Veronie classes. I've taken them all and have gotten an A in all of them. You work harder in her class for that A than any other but you will learn. Finals are cummulative and tests are a mix of fill in, essay, t/f, multi choice, and matching but is generous with grading. Extremely nice and love the class.

Tests weren't too difficult, but you did need to study quite a bit. Final was cumulative. She would know if you didn't read the book ahead of class. Very good teacher! :]

Dr. Veronie will be the most challenging psychology professor you will take at SRU, but she will also be the nicest and most caring. She specializes in testing so her test are nearly impossible, but you will surely learn a lot. I recommend her, but be ready to word really really hard.

If you don't like to read your textbooks don't take Dr. Veronie but if you're okay with about a chapter a week then go for it! If you struggle she will literally sit you down and help you outline all of the information for the tests. Yes she's challenging but she's a nice lady and she cares a lot but you have to go to her or she won't know you care

She is the absolute toughest teacher I've ever had, but also one of the very best. She knows her subject and is passionate about it. She's very willing to help you with anything for her class, or even another class. Be prepared to really study. Read the book beforehand and takes notes, then add hers in. She goes too fast to get everything otherwise

She doesn't go over everything that is in the chapter in class, but anything and everything in the book is fair game on exams. She's hard and you really have to know your stuff - T/F questions need to be corrected if false, multiple choice can be used more than once or not at all; that type of stuff. She's extremely nice and fun to listen to

She gives a lot of buffer points because her tests are so hard. They aren't memorization tests, they make you apply your knowledge so you really have to study. I haven't learned this much from a class in a long time. If you're willing to put the work in, it will show. This is not a blow off class.

Dr. Veronie is a wonderful person!!!! Her class is VERY hard but I learned so much from her. I never thought testing would be fun as a matter of fact. I did not want to take it for fear of the class. She showed us how to score the test and how to read the test with easy ideas. She is so caring and when it comes to her students we are first!!

She is a very nice professor but her class is almost mandatory. I skipped only 2 classes and fell behind in graded class activities. Her lectures and long and boring at times but she is super nice and tells stories throughout.

This was the first online class I have ever enjoyed. Dr. Veronie is so knowledgeable and truly showed how much she cares, which is a hard task online. The task was laid out very well and she truly helped to build a more personalized experience for every student.

Dr. Veronie is so funny! she makes lectures amazing with the way she presents. im usually a really shy person, and dont talk a lot during class, but there were times where she had me burst out laughing along with the rest of class. her mini tangents are my absolute favorite. if youre going to take any professors class, it should be hers!!

Although attendance is not mandatory, it is in your best interest to show up and receive credit for potential in class assignments/pop quizzes. Dr Veronie is very inspiring and shares personal experiences to better help students understand what she is teaching. The class overall is very interesting and she cares that you understand material.

I LOVE VERONIE!! She is such a sweetheart, it’s sad she’s retiring. Her classes are hard though, it’s mainly her tests that are very hard. especially when preparing for them. Once again love that lady!
