she is the worst most unhelpful teacher evr, I really think that she needs to improve her teaching skills. She is a nice person, but the way she teaches is atrocious!
Mrs. wiggins, has got to be the worst math teacher on the planet, she is not helpful, and in almost some ways she makes you feel stupid. Whenever you ask her a question, she tells you to go to the Math Lab, WTF! You go to the Math LAb!
She treats you like you are still in highschool! I mean, come on! Who checks students notes??? She would be a good second grade teacher though. And honestly, who has time to go to the frickin math lab?? This is college, people work, h

Her class isn't intersting but what math class is? She helps me alot with homework and so does the math lab. She is great for the developmental math classes that she teaches. Sometimes kids need to be treated as highschool kids. And the others are just taking it out on here because they hate math.
She's really nice and I found her to be pretty helpful. Disliked her hmwrk grading policies though. A few too many zeros for five pages of work and actual effort pissed me off. She did teach math104 like a HS class, but some of the people in my class needed that. She's a real nice lady though.

Mrs., Wiggins is a pretty nice lady, but is terrible at explaining things. She still treats us as we are in high school, but then acts like she doesnt have the time to help us. When asking her questions, she hardly ever knows how to help. She only gives us credit on our papers if they are perfect. She is a terrible math teacher.
She is the worst teacher out there. Do not take her class!!!! You will be sorry.. She is unorganized as hell, she doesnt know math for****, too bad one of her math lab people didnt teach the class because they could be more helpful than her
At first I couldn't stand this woman, but then everything she does just becomes comical. You will feel frustrated all the time because it's Wiggs way or no way at all. She will be happy to help you, and the Math Lab is handy, but somehow she screws people over. I swear I failed everything, but ended up with a B so...who knows.
Linda is nice, but she grades very hard. There is no such thing as getting credit for doing something in that class. All in all, she's decenly easy to learn from.

Contrary to popular belief, Linda Wiggins is a good instructor. She helped me succeed in College Algebra, one of the hardest classes at ISU! I think she was not treated well by some students and University College officials. It took much work and advocacy, but she recently got hired full-time in the Math department at ISU. Good luck Linda!
I took this class after having been out of school for 10 years. She was always helpful and willing to work w/ the students after class. I think she may be a little too nice and lets some of the less mature students get away with too much, but she gave me a great foundation and I am very thankful hers was the first math class I took at ISU

She is beyond awful. She gives no partial credit for problems on quizzes or tests. She gives a 20 pt quiz every monday and an exam every other friday! Do NOT take this class w/her if possible. You'll regret it!!!!
i actually really liked her. She is always there when you need help. She is a hard grader though. There are quizzes every monday. She doesnt really care if you come to class or not, its your choice. She gives short assignments in the book, but you never really have to do them. She will sometimes randomly check your work, but that was only 3 times
Honestly the worst class ever taken. She does NOT teach. expects us to teach ourselves, yet when we do we get the answers wrong and fail her tests. If you stick with it you just might pass since your lowest test is thrown out. Classroom environment is tense and unfriendly. suppose to teach us how to be teachers but is horrible role model.
if you want to have someone make you feel like an idiot, take her. she's horrible at "teaching," changes her mind all the time, spends most of the class helping 3 ppl and ignoring the rest- that is when you're not taking a quiz or test that seemed to be nearly every day. good luck. if you take her, chances are you'll take math130 again.
wow, never had such an idiot for a teacher. shes teaches as if you are in 1st grade, but her so called teachings, dot go along with the book. her tests=impossible. oh, and did i mention that she only owns 2 pairs of pants, that she wears up to her neck?!?!?to feel like a complete and total moron, take this class, she knows how to reduce self-esteem
Shes alright, i had her for 119 and HATED her, i came every day but didnt do ne of the h/w sooo i failed. It turns out i ended up gettin her the 2nd time around, much better! so bottom line, its not fun or easy, but u can get a B for sure if u go to class & do the h/w and extra credit. Also she is willing to work 1 on 1 with u.

STAY AWAY!! I've wanted to be a teacher for 10 years and after taking this class I almost reconsidered my major!! She is negative about EVERYTHING and makes you feel like crap. Tests are hard and you write A LOT!! Be prepared for each problem to be at least a page...Don't take her!!!!
She is the worst teacher I have ever had in my entire educational career. She does not know how to teach, is not a nice person and is a very picky and anal grader. If you dont answer problems the way she would solve the problem then she takes off points. DONT TAKE HER - YOU WILL REGRET IT

She is incredibly anal about how you answer her problems. Tests are IMPOSSIBLE to do AND finish in the time that is given. If possible, GET ANOTHER TEACHER ASAP!!

OH LAWD this class was hard! This lady was on some bull the way she graded. My test grades were C, B, D, F or smtg like that & I'm great at math. The final was hard as hell. I gave up half way through & didn't care. Idk how in the world I got a B in this class so I can't complain too much. Glad that shyt is over!

She was AWFUL. I didn't listen when people told me to drop it ASAP, but then ended up having to drop anyways. DO NOT TAKE THIS CLASS WITH HER. she is awful. it's a touch class to begin with and she has other students teach instead of herself, and never tells you exactly how to do things and just expects you to know for the test. she is terrible.
Do not do your homework in class. even if you already finished the class work, she will still take it away from you, and yell at you in front of the class with a total lack of professionalism. She's a HARD GRADER. it's her way or no way, seriously.
Run as fast as you can and don't take her! She doesn't teach & expects you to know the stuff. It is impossible to pass this class.
Completely unprofessional. She demeans students and speaks to them as if they are in elementary school. Tests are very difficult, and her grading is random. The test questions do not always relate to class lessons. AVOID AT ALL COST!
She is a HORRIBLE teacher. I am a freshman in college and majoring in El Ed and I've corrected her in class more than I've learned. It takes her 5 minutes to catch onto basic math. She talks to you like you are in 2nd grade, and although we are taking this class to learn how to teach that is not the way to teach college students. DON'T TAKE HER!!!!
AVOID AT ALL COSTS! She is not intelligent enough to teach this course. I stayed after class almost everyday to ask her questions and she never knew the answer. She grades things at random for no reason at all and plays favorites. The final was nothing like what we learned at all and I completely failed it, wound up with a C though. AVOID HER!
She was really confusing, and assigned us homework on stuff that we had never learned before. The tests were horrible, and i almost cried in the final. I was sooo happy with the C i got

it was pointless for her to even come to teach the class, i would have learned just as much in that class have i sat around all on my own. I dropped this class with a 45 percent. She writes comments like "what????" on our returned tests which is completely useless to help me improve and condescending. She wasted my time and my money
Wiggins does not know how to teach math in a clear manner. She laughs when we ask her why we're all failing. And she said it's normal for half the class to drop. When you get an answer wrong, she looks at you like you're dumb.
Over teaches the easy things and does not teach the hard concepts at all. I do NOT recommend her if you struggle in math. She is condescending and very unclear.
I have never had a worse teacher in my life, she laughs at the class when we all fail her test, if the whole class failed it is a failure of the teacher. Over half my class has dropped and those of us still stuck in her class are failing. She makes me never want to see a hawaiian shirt, black poncho, or austin powers hair due ever again
Honestly the worst teacher I've ever had. Disrespects everyone and laughs at the class for getting bad grades. Assigns homework about things we've never learned, has us write our answers on the board before going over them, then yells at us about the way we're doing it and laughs at you because you don't know how to do it.COMPLETELY unprofessional
This teacher talks to us as though we are 2nd graders. Condescending. Laughs at the grades of the class and giggles when people comment about how the whole class is doing bad. I have gotten STRAIGHT As (no joke) in every class in college and I am FAILING this course. Run. Run away. Run away quickly.
Although I'm not sure there is a good 130 teacher stay clear of Wiggins! Her grading is arbitrary and her feedback on tests was mainly "What?". At one point she told me to work on writing my W's. That helped my math comprehension a lot... The only thing that saved me in that class was being a kiss ass. If she offers reviews make sure you go!
It is the worst class ever with the worst teacher. I went to the tutor at least once a week which helped me understand it but the answers I wrote on the tests never seemed to be correct. I got a C in the class and I've never worked this hard to get a C. AVOID WIGGINS AT ALL COSTS. If you are unfortunate and cannot avoid her, kiss up to her.
This class is extremely difficult and she does lack on being clear. If you try hard and talk to her outside of class she is very helpful. She even allowed us to retake our first test and she went over all the answers before you took the test to make sure you understand. I ended up with a B in the class but I had to work hard for even that.
Despite all these comments, I did not mind her. I barely did anything for the class and did well. Just have to make sure to understand the concepts while she's doing them in class and ask questions. She always answers questions. The final ended up being pretty easy; go to her review for it!
Although she does tend to address the class as though we have a vocab count of 150 and she does tell us one thing in class and another after the test... she's ok as long as you don't mind being frustrated and super busy for a semester. If you must have her then be sure you study and kiss up...flattery will get you everywhere :)
Very unprofessional. Does not teach anything in a clear manner. Talks down to everyone, this teacher should be teaching 1st - 4th grade, not college level. I do not recommend this teacher to anyone. Stay away from Wiggins at all cost.

RUDE and VERY unprofessional. Does not help you when you ask for it and picks favorites. Ex).We had a group quiz; all answers were exactly the same, one person got 100%, another got 30%. I consider myself a math person, and under ANY other teacher this should be an easy A. She will play dumb when you ask her about a grading error, and not admit it.

This was the worst class I've ever taken. Mrs.Wiggins was by FAR the worst teacher I have ever had. I was always good at geometry in high school but this class made me doubt if I was even meant to be in college. She is rude to students, very inconsistent w/ her grading, very confusing when it comes to assigning homework and should not be teaching.
Anytime you ask a question she treats you like your an idiot. I missed a test when i had to go to my grandpas funeral, wouldn't allow me to redo. I however did get a b in the class. I tried going to her to help me find a tutor and she responded, and I quote: "there are no tutors for this section, you can take your book to a grad student in their office and see if they can help, otherwise theres nothing I can do." The teacher doesn't care about students learning. If everyone gets a question wrong it's the classes fault, not hers for bad teaching. She is condescending, rude, and the worst teacher I've had at ISU. DO NOT TAKE HER CLASS! There are three or four other teachers that teach this class, take it from them or not at all!
This woman is crazy. She should not have a teaching certificate whatsoever. She does not know how to teach, and is OUTRAGEOUSLY RUDE. she refuses to tell students their grades prior to the final. She gives out dispositions that don't even make sense. I would not take her class even if someone paid me to.
I got an A so its not impossible. If ur not a math person dont take this class. but if u like math/have to take the class u have to try hard & put in the effort. correct ur mistakes so u dont do them again. do everything as perfectly as u can so u dont get points off. i recommend not taking the class but sometimes you just have to suck it up.
I'm graduating from ISU & have never written a review but she is that bad.Looking back I should have just dropped this class for another teacher.After talking to the few kids in the class that ended up with good grades I found one common theme. They yelled at her.Take my advice, drop her class.Take overload later but don?t take her classes.

Overall bad teacher. She looks sweet but shes EVIL. There is a quiz every Friday but you'll start learning new material on WEDNESDAYS. no review. Expect to stay after you finish your test and learn new stuff.

She is very nit picky and takes off points for everything possible and if you approach her she threatens to take off more points. Don't take her class!

Get out while you still can!! worst teacher I have ever taken. I got ever answer on the test right, but still got a 33% she teaches you ways to do problems that are completely irrelevant and time consuming, when there are easier and better methods. RUN AWAY FROM HER!
Before taking this class math was really easy for me. I thought I understood everything until the test arrived. She comes up with new questions that weren't discussed in class and will take off points for unnecessary reasons. She doesn't explain anything and she answers your quesiton with a question. Avoid at all costs. This is not a joke.
The reviews are accurate but if you have no choice with your schedule, go to her office for extra help. She's actually pretty helpful outside of class and a very nice woman. Have her check your assignments before you actually turn them in for better scores. The textbook stinks and so does the smoke-and-mirrors grading method.
When starting this class she seemed alright. Then after getting the first quiz back and how she graded it I was worried. She is awful and grades way too harsh! Seriously find anyone else's class to take. She puts way too many questions (the majority are written questions) on the test for the 50 minutes. She makes the class way too complicated.
you need to use her office hours and probably get a tutor if you want o do okay in this class. one-on-one she is okay but in class she can't answer any questions, is always "running behind" and confused about the problems. My friends in the same class with different teachers showed me WAY easier ways to do the problems that she didn't show us
She is a very picky grader, she doesn't help people equally for example shell spend 30min with a group but then 10 with another. You need a private tutor to pass becuz I did visor center and that didn't really help because she wants you to do it her way even if the tutors way is easier. FYI u don't really even need the book

DROP THE CLASS!!! Nice lady but a terrible teacher. The material is easy but she doesn't know how to grade. Spent most of the time in class teaching HER the material. Would consistently make mistakes and have to be corrected by the students. GET OUT NOW OR YOU WILL FAIL

This teacher rushed through the material and stuck to the schedule even if the class didn't understand what she was teaching. Attend class and do the worksheets to drop your lowest test grade because YOU WILL need it. Some of her explanations are very confusing and sometimes she doesn't seem to know what she is talking about.
Linda is a great teacher, the material it self is extremely difficult so be prepared to teach your self out side of class. One on One Linda Is amazing she will go to all costs to help her students she even hands out her cell phone number to text her if you need help! I got a B! just be prepared to study! Take her shes sweet!

I have attended her office hours multiple times and every occasion she contradicts herself. She will tell me one thing in her office and then change it when grading quizzes and tests or even just going over things in class. If you try and ask her questions or correct her she makes passive aggressive comments and embarrasses you in front of everyone
This class is so confusing. She is a nice person and youll want to like her but she does not teach. She puts an example up and expects you to know how to do the whole chapter. The tests get harder and there is no homework to help your grade!
Seriously, stay away. She talks to you like you're a kindergartener and her grading methods are sketchy. Her policy of "answering questions with questions" gets annoying fast and she will snap at you if you have anything critical to say. You would think the math dept. would do something after all those teacher evaluations. AVOID AT ALL COSTS.
This was the absolute WORST teacher I've ever had at this universities. She is rude, late on putting up all the grades, and makes up her own grading methods. For exams she'll grade your work as more points than the correct answer and make you do almost everything by hand. She is an impossible grader, by midterms more than half the class was failing
DO NOT TAKE THIS TEACHER. Her methods of grading make no sense, and is very nit picky when grading. She is really annoying, and it is painful to sit there and listen to her talk. She would tell you one way how to do something, then contradicts herself in class, and has no problem marking up your paper even if she told you the wrong way.

She talks to students like they're children and then grades homework and quizzes like its Calc 4!I learned most of this course material in high school and yet I struggled to keep a B in her class. She makes simple concepts extremely confusing and makes something up or changes the problem if you tell her that shes wrong.

I have never had a tough time in a math class, but since starting this course I have received some of the worst grades. She takes points off of assignments for outrageous reasons. Change teachers if you end up getting her!
Not bad but shouldn't be a top option. I didn't think she was too bad but its a lot of textbook work and shes a little bit of a difficult grader. buy the solutions manual for sure.
I have always found math to be an easy subject and so far she has made this one of the worst classes I have ever taken. Does not clarify all that we need to show on the tests and then grades our tests like we're graduate students and takes off points for things that don't make sense. AVOID AT ALL COSTS
She is a pretty tough grader but you shouldn't have much trouble if you do the work she asks for. If you ever need help she will help you.
It's a difficult class, but she doesn't do too terrible of a job teaching Calculus. Besides being a very tough grader, she's not an awful of a teacher. You can ask questions outside of class by office hours or by text, including pictures in your text. For 34 of our tests, part of it was take-home. For homework, she counted our highest 5 grades.
Terrible terrible teacher. Should have listened to the reviews when i had the chance. She will tell you To do something one way, then take off points for doing it that way. I never failed an assignment or test before I came to her class. Now my chances of transferring are ruined because of her. Honestly, save yourself now

If math is not your strong suit, I do not recommend taking her. This is a tough class and I don't think she does a great job of explaining it for people that aren't great at math. I got an A only because I'm good at math. If you take her, be ready to teach yourself the material or get a tutor to help you.
Just do what she says and you'll have no problem. Ignore these negative comments about her, they are the ones who obviously didn't follow what she said . Overall great instructor. Im actually glad I had her as my mat120 instructor. She is also very willing to help students when needed. Would highly recommend solutions manual!!
Linda is one of the nicest professors I think I have ever met, she's a sweet lady. She understands the material and does a decent job at teaching it. If you ever need help she is more than happy to assist you. She grades tests pretty tough, but if you do all of the worksheets and attend class, that counts as one of your tests (lowest score dropped)
Worst teacher I've ever had. Although she is willing to help students she makes you feel stupid while doing it. She has no Clear point system for the tests and marks off points as she feels. Had to basically teach myself this entire course. Would not recommend this class to any human being on planet earth.
Mrs. Wiggins doesn't explain the material very well, and when you ask for extra help she makes you feel dumb. Her biggest problem though is that she makes up her own grading system and can give you a lot of points off for something small you didn't do. She's way too tough of a grader. If the material wasn't so easy my grade would be much worse.
She's a tough grader, literally makes up her own rules when grading. Homework has to be immaculate to get full credit. Makes stupid mistakes all the time when teaching. Very sweet lady, but does not know how to teach. If you're willing to do the homework to her standards, you'll get an A.
If possible change professors for your own good. She is a very tough grader on everything and makes up her own grading system which gets annoying. Makes mistakes when teaching which makes it confusing sometimes. But she is a very nice lady and is willing to help you if you need it. Go to her office hours if you are having trouble.
Lets just say my "mistakes" on my homework were that on 7 of my assignments, I did not press down hard enough with my pencil "which no one has ever said that before" so she could not read it. I had to redo all 7 assignments, just to show I completed the work, when she had my work in her hands all along. Last resort class for sure
She is very difficult to work with. Showing up to class helps A LOT. Also, so your homework and do it right because she grades it for points. She is very picky about having things done her way or it is wrong. She gave out some extra credit at the end of the year that helped out a lot. If she knows you personally it helps. So do office hours.
Prof Wiggins is an extremely hard grader and does not do a good job teaching the material. I spent a lot of my time being confused. She is helpful in office hours if you're available to go, however. I definitely would not take a class with her again.

I have always been fairly good at math, but in her class we study easy concepts and I still struggle to understand them. She is a very tough grader and requires attendance. She has also told multiple students that they lacked the "conceptual understanding" that was required for the course when they approached her with questions.
Worst math course I have ever taken. The concepts are not difficult, but she is horrible at explaining. She is more focused on setting up homework correctly than understanding the material.
Very specific when it comes to grading. There is no extra credit offered. But if you establish a "relationship" with her and attend/participate in class and ask her questions she will round your grade.
She gave us enough time to do our homework effectively AND correct it if we got something wrong to get 10/10 points. She is understanding and even allows you to text her with questions on homework. SHE GIVES TAKE HOME TESTS I REPEAT TAKE HOME TESTS. But, study on the final it killed me RIP
If you're just trying to pass this class, you should have no problem with Professor Wiggins. If you're trying to receive an A, that's a different story. She is actually a very nice lady and is not disrespectful, her lack of explanation and understanding of the material was very unfortunate for her students. Her grading just does not make sense...
She's a nice person but not a great teacher. She isn't clear when she teaches and is an INCREDIBLY picky grader. She takes a frustrating amount of points off for hw and tests for things that are not related to math. She is also not great about grading assignments quickly, handing back graded material, or updating Reggienet.
She is HORRIBLE! If you want to screw up your GPA take her. Getting the right answer means nothing unless its done by her methods which change. I had a college math professor review a couple of my take home exams - all the answers were right but she failed me because she didn't like how I did the work - she is an ISU embarrassment we pay for
Heres the situation, She gave us a worsheet that would count as a quiz grade. She even posted the answers online. Easy, I should get a perfect score right? wrong. Even after copying down her EXACT work, I had 1/4th of points taken off of several problems. Why? For things such as, "In the wrong place" or "Improperly defined." Extreamly picky grader.
DO NOT TAKE HER Tough grader, and has the weirdest point system I have ever seen. Each exam is 10 questions worth about 10 points each, even the multiple choice that you have to show no work on. Absolutely ridiculous. Very passive aggressive and makes you feel stupid for answering a question wrong.
Worst math professor/instructor in general I've ever had. Multiple times in class she has to look at the book answers to do practice problems. I got points off a quiz for my plus signs being too small for her. Super picky over stupid things. I got a good grade but she is horrible, attendance counts for an exam grade. 10/10 do not recommend.
Overall Linda was a good professor but she is a very hard grader. You have to make sure that you do and show your work how SHE wants you to show your work. There is a quiz every week which shouldn't be that complicated if you just study but, overall I heard she was better than the rest and this class meets 4 days a week when others meet 5.
She is a really nice professor and is very helpful in making sure you understand the material. The tests and quizzes get easier once you get to know what she expects. You dont have to do the homework. I never did and still got an A. Tests are 10 multiple choice questions.
Whatever you do- DO NOT take a class with this Professor. She is an extremely hard grader and never gives anyone an A. Previously, I have always gotten A's in pre-calculus, calculus, etc. I have not received an A on any of her assignments even if it is nearly perfect work. She is TERRIBLE at explaining and shames anyone who answers wrong in class.
Linda is the worst professor I have had. If you get an answer right, she will still count it wrong if you dont have the work exactly how she wants it. Her lectures are boring and she does not thoroughly explain anything. I would NOT recommend her.

Really a bad professor. She isn't very smart, she doesn't understand what she is teaching, and she is an awful grader. She made so many mistakes when teaching and spends most of the class backtracking. She was one of the harshest graders I've ever had.
She is very helpful! I was hesitant because I am kind of bad at math but it was decent. She gave a ton of resources, responded to emails quickly, and threw out test questions that large amounts of the class missed. She taught some things a different way than what I was used to such as teaching how to find tax strangely but otherwise she was fine.
Not the most tough math class you'll ever take but you have to earn your grade with Prof. Wiggins. Very nice, friendly, and helpful but there is a lot of work involved. She would rather you learn the information from a textbook than teach the class herself. Claims to be good at communication but awful at describing directions. I'm really struggling in this course as a student who doesn't normally struggle academically. Completely disappointed in the class, had to teach it all to myself.
She is hands down the worst professor at ISU, sucks at communication skills. everything that is written in the syllabus is changed whenever she wants. She makes quizzes and tests 100000x harder than homework and half the time in class she does the problems wrong. DO NOT TAKE THIS CLASS WITH HER
Literally avoid this teacher at all costs. Had her for the online period during covid and this is probably the most ill prepeared teacher I have ever had. She constantly changes her mind and deviated from the syllabus often. She expects you to show every single detail of work that you do on tests, which then makes the tests 25% math and 75% essay.
Prof. Wiggins does not explain the material well at all and does not care about her students learning. She makes mistakes in class a lot which just makes everyone more confused. The only reason I passed this class was because of my tutor help.
If you have any other option for a teacher I would take it. She is not helpful and does not care what grade her students receive. She will give homework about topics she has not yet taught and expect you to get through it yourself and the things she tells you to study will not be on the test. Tests have random criteria, things not on the reviews.
Stay away from her if you have any other options, and I mean ANY. She is absolutely the worst teacher I have ever had. She does not explain the material well at all and assigns you homework over chapters you haven't even discussed yet. She would assign us a quiz every two weeks and put questions from future chapters that students havent learned yet causing everyone to receive poor scores. Went into the final exam with a 79 after studying the study guide she gave us for weeks. Turned out the final wasnothing like the study guide or class notes and the majority of the class failed
I would never recommend Wiggins to an enemy. She is not helpful at all! There is almost always a homework assignment due every day during the week. Her exams are not like the study guides! Final is accumulative and not curved. Be prepared to get randomly called on in class.
Although Ireceived a B, it was no thanks to her, but instead just because I tend to understand math well, usually, probably better than she even does as she constantly makes mistakes. Acts like a highschool teacher. She curves nothing, and just for your own benefit, do not bother asking questions because she will just treat you like an idiot
Professor Wiggins is the worst teacher I have ever had and it is not even close. She calls on you and if you dont know the right answer she tries to publicly humiliate you in front of the whole class. She has made her own special grading system for tests so even if you get the right answer it can be counted wrong if you dont do it her way.
When I signed up for this course, I wasn't sure how it was going to be due to the poor ratings. I have her for calculus and she allows retakes for the exams, and all the homework is exactly what we learn in lecture. If you miss lecture the class can become confusing, but she is willing to one on one tutor you until you are caught up. Overall 10/10
The only reason Mrs Wiggins gets a 1/5 on this review is because 1 is the lowest you can give. Easily the worst teacher/professor Ive ever had in my academic career. Will mark you off 20% on tests if your work isnt done how she likes it even if you get the right answer. You basically teach yourself, and if you dont understand math you will fail.

I would not recommend taking this teacher at all. She constantly messes up during lectures and there's been MULTIPLE tests with her that she's messed up on. She constantly calls on you during class and genuinely makes you feel dumb if you get the answer wrong. The only plus side with her, is that the tests are somewhat similar to the study guides.
This professor intentionally tried to make this class harder than it had to be. She was completely unable to give CORRECT answers to students looking for help and she did not understand the material she was teaching. She repeatedly asked the class to help her because she was clueless. If possible, take this course with a different professor.
yes she is tough. however for our class she did offer retakes for each math test you were not proud of. and she honestly made math a little better for me to understand. She will call on you so it kinda forces you to try to understand the material so you dont look silly. Study, do your homework, and you will be fine just like any other class.
This course was pretty difficult, but she was a great professor! She offered a lot of help outside of class, and she was easily accessible through text and email. She also offered retakes for tests, and the test reviews were identical to the actual tests. It's also important that you actually go to the class every day to learn the material.

I kid you not I would believe you if you told me she was an english because she could not do math. She likes to embarrass her students when she is aware they are struggling and does not offer to help. Don't take this class with her.
Ended with a C but I only went to class for the exams and finals, notes are online & the exams are like the study guides so if you do those there's no reason you won't pass
As long as you go to class, you should do fine. She explains the material well and is a prompt grader. She lets you retake the tests and the study guides are just like the tests.
I wouldn't recommend this class to my worst enemy, it was THAT bad. I can honestly say that this was the worst class I have ever taken. Seriously, if you have to take this class, take it with ANYONE else. Actually, just take it at a community college and cut your losses. It's that bad.

Professor Wiggins has a tough grading style, but offers retakes and tutoring to help students succeed. Attendance is key - just stay engaged and use resources like unstuck AI, and you can do well.
This professor made me feel like I was back in high school. Calls on nearly every person every class to answer questions they don't know. She constantly makes mistakes during class lectures, recycles study guides (with errors), and there was an entire question missing on the Final for half of the class. Unforgiving and condescending professor.
The reviews here are exaggerated. Go to class, pay attention, put your phone away for the full hour, and answer the questions she asks. She will cold call on people if they don't participate, but if you pay attention, she teaches the material very well, and it is easy to answer her questions. Almost every test had retakes or a massive curve.
The reviews are NOT exagerated. First class I have ever dropped. Her tests are multiple choice, except if you don't show your entire work you will fail, even if chose the correct option. Worst of the worst.
I saw the reviews and was so scared, but she isn't as bad as it seems, at least if you are mainly focused on your grade. Her teaching style isn't great, but her random questions make sure you pay attention throughout. Quizzes and homework are online, so only exams need to be worried about, and the reviews are EXACTLY like the exams, so kind of easy
Terrible professor, very rude to non-buisness students; she doesn't even deserve this rating but here I am.
DO NOT RECOMMEND!!! This professor calls on students randomly even if they are or aren't paying attention and will badger you to come up with an answer. She is a rude professor, who degrades and embarrasses students. She teaches in a more complex way than necessary, and you must show all your work on tests and do it her way or you get points off.

Make sure you go to class. Even if you come in late, make sure you still get your attendance !!! Also, going to her office hours is very important, make sure you get yourself acquainted with her so she can know your face. Study outside of class as well, because she has a tendency to be a little fast paced during lectures.
