Lindy is a great teacher and you can tell that she really cares about her students. She made class a fun learning enviroment! The class was semi difficult, but no more than any other 111 class at cuyamaca or grossmont. I would definatly take her class again.

Not an easy course..However I am so happy I took this course. Before i took here I was scared to write papers..Now they are a piece of cake! Forever using the things I have learned. Worth the work.

She was one of my favorite teachers at Cuyamaca. On the first day of class, she'll tell you everything you need to know to do well in the class, it's all there in the course outline. I recomend taking the bridge with humm 110. She is very interesting and insitefull (and fellas, she's not bad to look at). Take advantage of her office hours; she's very understanding and helpfull if you're having trouble (as long as you can admit where and why). She's young enough to remember what it's like bing a student

She is a great teacher. I took two classes with her and it was always fun. Her classes are not boring. All her homeworks are clear, lots of extra credits. I would take another class with her if she would teach more. I highly recommend her classes.

Very good teacher, she does everything she can to help you. There is alot of writing and she makes you use the writing process but the class is easy to pass.

nice lady but don't take her class unless you are prepared for a fully blended(half online) class and are a serious student. I took it never having had a blended class before with kind of a lazy attitude and i had pretty much failed about a month in and had to drop. Also it is a very boring class

This class was half online, which I only reccommend if you are diligent in going online to do the class discussions on time (it's a HUGE and easy way to lose points) Brazil is an overall enjoyable professor who has a great passion for lit. You get to go see a play and her essays are pretty simple. It can get pretty boring discussing though.

Mrs. Brazil was honestly one of the best teachers i have ever had. I hands down recomend that you take her at some point! She is an amazing person.

Everything that everyone else has said, that is positive, is all you need to know to sign up for this class. The class is very easy if you know how to write but started in 98, it's mostly just writing paragraphs with two books and an autobiography. Just show up and do the work, it's an easy A. If you don't know how to write she will teach you.

Amazing teacher, I learned everything that I should have learned in High School in her class. There was always a writing assignment, but it was never outrageous. The text book was helpful and used all the time. There is no downside to her class, if you follow along with her you'll pass easily. GREAT TEACHER!

This is one of the best professor you can take. She truly cares about her student and wants them to pass; she will take the time to help you with anything. I plan on taking her again. She is clear about what she wants and it is important that you attend class because her test are based on her lectures or handouts.

Mrs. Brazil is very straight forward and only test on what she lectures and gives homework on. I felt like there wasnt alot of work but I learned more than I ever have in any other class.She is a Awesome teacher and talks about things that matter. I must have messed up on the placement exam and got put into remedial english and i hated it. I soon realized that through all of my prior training in high school, i had yet to truly understand grammar ( a subject often looked over). She was very attentive to all of my needs and addressed them promptly. She is and was a great teacher... hotness ;)

Mrs. Brazil is a fantastic teacher and this is coming from a less than academic student. I typically don't do too well at school, but her class was PERFECT. It was challenging, but all the assignments were for a purpose! She has a good amount of homework, but if you do it all, you will do well in the class. I have so much respect for her!

Mrs Brazil is an excellent teacher, You will learn and retain all she has to offer if you attend class and participate. You will have to earn your grade and there are a few assignments in the class (4 paragraphs, 2 essays, 3 tests, 1 final grammar test) , but you will have set a solid foundation for future English classes. AMAZING PROFESSOR!

Ms. Brazil's class requires attendance in order to succeed. Her lectures are long, but they are worth it. She gives out more than enough extra credit during the semester. There aren't too many tests and only one or two simple pop quizzes. I definitely recommend her class to others who are not confident in writing.

Shes super sweet and is willing to find middle ground if you are as well. She made me good about the work I turned in and her feedback is great. Very lenient in grading, got As on all my essays and I think Im an average writer. Essays are all done step by step which is easy. We did 3 or 4 essays total i think. Very doable class gave extra credit

First off she is a great professor because this class was extremely hard!! You write papers almost every week or so and you will most definitely learn whether you like it or not how to be a better writer. Professor Brazil helps you through the whole process, and genuinely helps you become better.

This teacher is honestly very easygoing. Tests are unlimited tries. essays can be fixed. most importantly she is very good at explaining the assignments. Other than that it was fun while it lasted.
