I found this class to be very informative, because of the way she presented the information. Shes a student herself so she understands the postion we are in. I recommend taking her for 101, alot of easy ways to recieve extra credit. Just read the book and your golden. Shes's pretty cute

Great teacher, very down to earth and understands students and can be lenient.. She knows whats shes talking about and will answer any questions you have and always done for a open discussion. Uses the book alot, taking the notes is key, tests arent too hard tho

She is thourough in covering the book, but her tests go into further depth. Class average on tests were C's and D's. I know I studied and didn't find the studying to be very helpful. On the other hand she is a very nice, approachable and easy going teacher. She is willing to work with you and help you.

Fun, energetic, clear, helpful, and genuine. Read to do well on tests and put effort on your paper because the report you have to do in class is really not that bad if you do the paper. Class is okay but a bit boring at times. I just wish that she showed us the power points while lecturing. Overall a good teacher. :)

She is a very fun and energetic teacher. Every chapter is covered thouroughly. Tests are not easy, you really need to study hard for them. Presentations at the end of the semester are fun and beneficial. Overall I received an A in her class.

The class is pretty easy. All you need to do is take good notes and listen very closely when she tells you what is on the test. 3 pages of notes for a test is enough notes to not fail the class. The tests are challenging. Had a good semester.

Really good teacher. Easy going. I liked this class alot. A lot is covered in the book so read it thoroughly. Other then that you get three pages of notes for the tests and she tried to pick the best form of test for the class. get used to the word narley. lol

Take notes during lectures & while reading because you can use notes for every test + she tells you practically all the Q's on the test prior. Couple EASY assignments which you get points for, plenty extra credit assignments & 1 final APA paper. She's incredibly chill. TAKE HER CLASS! Getting an A is easy & passing is almost guaranteed

Super cool, she puts all her notes online so just read the chpt and print the notes and add some to those because she says really important things during note taking that you wont be able to get it all. shes very nice and understanding, easy quizzes as long as you study a little

A really great teacher. I didn't think she was very hard as long as you read the book. Her discussions were interesting because she'll answer any questions about psychology that you could possibly have if she has the answer. She tells you exactly what's on the test and is a fun person.

I freaking love her. She's really cool and nice. Her test are really easy and she let's you use notes. I forgot that we had a test once and did not study or bring in notes and ended up with a B. Very helpful and explains everything very well. She has this thing she does with her hands while teaching which always seem to catch my attention and payed attention. Also notes are alllll online so print out and add whatever she talks about when reviewing the notes!

Best teacher ever. She's so chill and laid back. You do have to read the text. She just gives you the guidelines on what to read. But if you want a teacher who is active in the field of psychology, Linka is definitely the teacher to go to.

Really easy teacher. Hard class, you do have to put effort like any other class. I got D's in all my exams but the extra work for the class like the portfolio and discussion posts got me a B in the class :)

I LOVED HER. People in my class this semester complained & complained over the amount of work this class requires and how thorough the material is but she simplified it as best she could without missing anything major. Anyone who complains is lazy. This class will require studying so be prepared but with her lectures it's tolerable & so fun.

Best psych teacher I've had at COC. She's very chill and fair. Yes, her tests can be a bit tough, but if you read the material with the notes as your guide, you'll be fine. Our final project involved diagnosing a movie character. Awesome!!!!

Smart as a whip she is amazing and talks about her child and husband in relation to the material makes it fit and was a wonderful teacher. Very inspiring and worth taking the class perhaps just for her. she also at least to me was pretty hot most likely because of how smart she was and she was japanese

Very knowledgeable in many subjects. I love that she has experience in the field. I appreciated her incite as well. Great speaker and even manages to make the boring areas seem interesting.

The test were hard and the material repetitive but Linka was an awesome teacher. She provided us her PPT's and thorough reviews. I did well but some students failed her tests because they did not study. She really talks to students and makes the topic interesting. Take her, she is a good professor.

Gave us all her PPTs, showed us videos and put us in teams for a cool project. We had many ways to earn points but tests were hard. Need to read the textbook if u take her. She's really chill and makes the lectures fun. some students would just talk about useless stuff and interupt her a lot but she was good about keeping them in check.

She was great but there were a few older ladies in the class that had a hard time with letting her be their teacher. They would keep trying to take over her lectures but the prof did a good job. She is respectful but strict but some people have a hard time with following rules. the material is dense and lots of work. Not a class for lazy people

I was a returning student after 20 years and this class was a blast. Linka is easy going and has tons of class discussions and I had a lot of fun. Study and you will do fine.

This professors lectures are good and are very interesting. She is very polite and if you do your work she will help you out if you need it.

At first, she comes off real strong. But she is an awesome teacher with tons of knowledge. I definitely love her eclectic vocabulary use, I learned a lot more than just psychology. Her classes consist of lectures and note taking. Tests are easy if you study. Little homework. 4 tests, 1 APA report and a final written test. Was very manageable.

Really good teacher. If I could take Her again , I would. I thought I wasn't going to pass her class but I got a "B" just pay attention , show up to every class, and do everything she assigns. I also believe she deserves a permitted job at COC, that school needs more professors like her.

I enjoyed her class, at first I was worried about not passing because exams are hard, but she gives extra credit and your assignments and projects are what will help you pass the class, i would definitely take her class again, she is very smart, caring, and class was great!

Interesting to listen to and super helpful. Reading is essential though and if you don't read, you won't do well on the tests. Super friendly.

One of the best professors I've had at COC. She is a genius and is so helpful in Psych. You think you will fail at first because her tests are very difficult if you don't study. Most of the test material is from the book and not the power points but pay attention to both. She's really funny and very interesting and she gives big points on projects.

Prof. Griswold is a solid professor, albeit difficult to follow at times. She has long MS PowerPoint presentations that can take up an entire week's worth of class. Attendance isn't mandatory, although recommended. Her five exams are also very difficult. She knocks off the lowest exam grade but doing extra credit was essential for me to pass.

Awesome instructors. Provides all her lectures, a free spss manual she wrote and tins of exercises with answers and keys. Open book but a lot of students fail to read or purchase the book and I could see that those students struggled. Why take a stats class and not buy or rent the book. But that's not her fault. She also really funny.

Professor Griswold was one of the smartest professors I've ever had. She is super witty and is willing to have discussions about real life problems. Her tests are pretty tough, but all you have to do is read the sections and practice the problems. Take advantage of her knowledge and ask questions if you need help, she really knows her stuff!

Great teacher. She gives us all her notes and all in in class equations model exactly what's on the test. Group projects, lab and activities counted towards grades so your final grade is not based just on exams -- which is great if you are bad test taker.

Awesome professor. She also works in the field and has published research in pharmacology. I learned how to analyze data manually and with SPSS. I learned so much more than I bargained for. She also has cool team projects where we collected and analyzed real data. Take her class!!

Really detailed oriented and straight to the point. Supplied us with all her notes N pots and her tests were really hard. I know a lot of people did badly on the exams. Not an easy A by far but if u work hard, read the book and do your best, you can get a decent grade.

I struggled in math my entire life, i was skeptical at first because i really didnt know what the class was going to be about. Overall it was a good class and i would definitely take it again. It is not an easy A but if your willing to put in the time then you should be good. Take good notes cause she lets you use them on the tests.

One of the hardest classes I've taken. She's a very nice professor and gives you credit for projects. SPSS lab was great learning experience. Math is not my thing, but you can get through this class. She's also hella funny. Lots of students complained about all the work and how hard the tests were but she is fair. She's also pretty cute ha ha

i felt so bad for her. At the beginning of class, there were a couple of students who acted crazy and unstable and she ad to deal with that while trying to lecture. There were so many great things about professor g and her class structure . def take her again. I earned a B and it was not easy but the class is stats and not my best topic.

very hard class and i really had to earn my C but at least I passed. Math is my worst subject ever. Professor Griswald was super friendly and opened the classroom up for all sorts of discussions about psychology, social media and gender equality. She is also a strong advocate for LGTBQ rights. I am so glad I had a chance to take this class with her

Really good teacher. She expects you to be responsible for your own self. Lecture heavy/fast talker & can't record lectures. Really need to read the book in order to get good test scores. Don't wait last minute to study, you won't pass the tests. No busy work: only homework is reading. 1 big group project at the end but you have the whole semester

Great professor! She is very straight to the point. I am not an A student yet I received an A by simply doing the work and extra credit.

This was a good class. Not many assignments. Most points come from the tests and the group project. Pretty thorough lectures. Only difficultly was the project. For the main portion of it, she just gave us a guide and didn't really go too deep into it, so a lot of it was self taught and trial & error.

Highly recommended. Professor L. Griswold is very familiar with the topics discussed in any of her classes. Allows her students to express their opinions freely in an environment of confidence and respect. Every students well-earned points is an opportunity to learn at the same pace with Prof. Griswold's great and motivated lectures. Thank you!

She is a very relaxed and easy teacher. Sometimes she is all over the place, but it's cause she had some family issues. Just do the work and you'll be fine. Also, make sure you have a good relationship with your group members cause a lot of the assignments are with them.
