really good prof...told us exactly what was going to be on the tests and exam..i would take another class of his
Excellent prof, very clear, knows the topic well and was able to convey the material to help the class understand it. Would definitely recommend this prof.
Easy guy, simple questions and literally helps out in exams...DEFINITELY recommended
He knows his stuff inside out, fair marker, and explains well. I wish he teaches more ACC classes.
One of the better ACC profs @ Ryerson. Highly recommended.
Good prof. Tests are fair and reflect what he teaches in class and the textbook. No tricks. Good guy.
What a nice man. He wants to help unfortunately hes boring so no one goes to class. His tests are fair.
good prof. knows what he has to teach. good tests and fair marking. Strongly recommended.
good prof, nice, helpfull
best proff recommended.....easy test ,..sometimes trciky but u have to know the chapters...take him

GREAT PROF! Nice guy who wants to see his students do well and pass. Test are fair, goes through homework questions. Wish all profs were like him.
he's great! very very nice person and helpful haha and if u have his past exams, u'll ace it for sure =) also, if u like to cheat, i think u can cheat during his exam.. like ppl were like chatting with each other and showing their answers in front of the TA and the teacher during exam!! omg haha
Very Nice Prof. If you want to learn the material pay attention. Approachable and explains everything in detail. One of the better QUALIFED professors at Ryerson University
Great guy.. one of the best profs at rye
If you have copies of previous tests you will be fine - he doesn't change them much from semester to semester. For those of you who don't want to CHEAT then you are in for a hard ride. Tests had errors, final was difficult - unless you are a priveleged viewer of previous tests. Prof did not respond to ANY emails I sent him, asking for help, advice.
A great professor overall. Very nice guy, easily approachable. Teaches things very well and goes over material in a way which ensures students get an understand. If you can get him for any course then go for it.
Good Prof. Do homework and study should do fine. Tests are fair just do the homework and make sure you understand theory.
Good guy! Teaches good but a bit fast at times! I took it in the summer and the exam was totally blown by everyone. It was super hard and long and people couldnt finish! But in the end i guess he made adjustments and I did pretty good! Good guy overall!
Good prof in ryerson. classes are short and the midterms are easy. Final was hard and long, but still managed to get a good mark surprisingly.
I took this course during the summer and breezed through the first 2 midterms. As for the final exam, let's just say I sat there completely blank because the questions on there weren't anything we've done in the homework. Other than that he answers emails pretty fast and is pretty helpful.
Perfect
my favorite prof. hes such a great guy, his lectures are well thought out... definately knows what hes talking about... almost over qualified for the job.. i wish all my classes were taught by him. very highly recomended
His lectures are painful to sit through. But midterms were fair.
Okay…I think this guy is over rated…an accounting prof. that doesn’t write of the board and very irresponsible. I wouldn’t say the worst prof. but definitely not good. Not going to take him again.
Fair and teaches really well.
He is an ok prof and lazy too.
If you are serious about learning, DON'T TAKE HIS CLASS. Most of time, he is just babbling around and discussing the questions very generally. And it seems whatever students bring up in class, he agrees. In the end,no clear and concrete accounting knowledge is taught. We pay a price for education.Want my money back.
This prof is one of the best at ryerson. those complaining on here are just bitter becuase they didn't put any effort into the course and got a bad mark.
great prof - understanding, helpfull and truly cares
Most useless instructor, doesnt write anything on the board, doesnt respond to emails or calls and refused to answer questions simply responds "email it to me" which doesnt get a response anyways.. avoid where possible no business teaching..
His lectures are so unorganized & off-topic, it's hell sitting through them. His exams are very fair & are more calculation based, whereas his lectures are almost 100% theory. He seems lazy b/c he never writes on the board, but as long as you do your homework, you'll be fine. Overall, I'd take another course with him.
Does not explain concepts clearly. Spends 90% of the class going over homework but not enough time explaining theory behind problems. Doesn't prepare correctly for exams and doesn't give enough material to review at home.
Avoid this professor. He doesn't listen to students. After teaching only two classes and taking a religious holiday and sick day, he gives the class an exam. On another exam, he puts questions on topics that were never covered in class. He gives a lengthy test but gives us only 1 hour and 30 min to complete. He's strict and non-approachable.
Greatest prof at Ryerson
he always gets off topic!! his lectures about theory were not covered that well so you need to read the textbook yourself. but his tests are fair
For those people who said great prof,I JUST DON'T UNDERSTAND. Are you kidding me? He does not teach the concepts, you're pretty much left on your own with the textbook, which also sucks.Awful! AVOID AT ALL COSTS if you want to pass.
Great Prof. Knows the topic well and conveys the information to students well. his tests are fair.
awful at expaining concepts, doesn't answer questions clearly, doesn't have a lot of control over the class
Excellent prof.
He is an ok teacher, explains most of the stuff clearly and the 2 tests are easy as well, if you study. But the final is an absolute killer. After the second test, 2 chapters are done quickly and they account for over 80% of the final exam. It seems he bellcurves as most students passed the course even though they probably failed the final exam.
The professor is ok. His tests are not hard as long as you do your work. Do expect the final to be much harder!
The final exam is unexpectedly hard. But overall, he is very knowledgeable proff and provides real life examples to hmks problems.
Good Proff
This guy loves Ryerson. Graduate of Ryerson, he knows what we go through. He made 801 and now 803 really easy. He takes the final exam case from the book, so if you read and highlight the major points in all of the cases in the book (not much, maybe 20 cases), you'll be GUARANTEED an A in this course. Could go into this course without 801.
Excellent Prof. clear, fair, and makes accounting actually interesting by including his consulting experience into what he teaches. recommended!!
Know the basic theory + common sense/experience. Good professos. Recommend the prof and the class
One of the Best Proffs at Ryerson. I hated and failed this course with another prof and actually enjoyed it with Lior.
A pretty good teacher .... knows alot about the topic and wants his students to succeed! Oh yea and by the way he is brown lol- i know it doesnt matter but i thought he was Russian before i saw him
This teacher is one lazy XXXX. Loves Ryerson to Death and is always in hurry to go home to feed his cats
Excellent Instructor. Excellent course.
Best proff for this course. His exams are straighforward from the homework that he assigns. His final was harder though so be prepared. But overall great guy who makes this course easy and enjoyable! Strongly recommended!
Get his old midterm and it will change your life. He looks at your process of getting the question & not just your final answer..SHOW YOUR WORK. His assignment was hard, but he didnt mark too hard, just show your work. Best prof at Ryerson!
I really don't know where people are coming from bashing this prof one of the better profs I ever had extremely easy midterm and final was pretty straight forward. Despite that, I still learned a lot. Very interesting and helpful
the best prof i have had at ryerson. Makes Management accounting make sense. he has inspired me to pursue an accounting designation.
I took him in 09 summer session. He was a really easy marker. He gives you part marks if you show that you did most of your steps right even if the final answer was wrong. I had been retaking the course which may explain why I found it much easier but his tests did feel easier than when I took it in day school winter09. I highly u to recommend him.
For the final, told us specifically not to focus on two chapters that had been tested on midterm. Then tested us heavily on them. As for getting his past midterms: useless. After years of ppl acing his recycled exam (lazy), he decided to completely change it - and add 150% difficulty. Tip: study what he tells you not to study, you'll do better.
Decent prof, he takes the time to explain the homework solutions. Course wasn't too difficult. Assignment is easy, midterm and final straightforward. Evening classes aren't the greatest. Read the book, and do the assigned questions and you will do well.
Well this guy cannot teach online. Very disorganized! Just makes life miserable by adding randomness and does not even care. Well as if we have a choice for this course.
I had no interest going into this course whatsoever but just the way Professor Yitzhaky taught the course somehow managed to make me want to learn. He's very clear, very cool prof. Take his class! I definitely will be looking for courses he's teaching in the future.
i think the course was easy and the prof was easy going . i never used to stay till the end of the class but still manage to get good grade . if u do his homework regularly midterms and exam would be easy
I had him online for this course, he is a bit disorganized, but i appreciated his helpfulness with the assignments, but u gotta talk to the guy if u have problem and u dont ask ur gonna make very difficult for urself, also gonna have to put in little bit of time and effort
I AM SCARED ABOUT THE SUMMER FINAL EXAM. THEN I WILL COMMENT LOL
I think his plus point is he explains question very well. He literally takes hours on homework. His bad side is he Sometimes never replies emails.
This prof is hands down the best one in Ryerson. He tests you on what he teaches you. His lectures are mostly based on homeworks. The key to do well in his class is do HOMEWORK. Some questions might be tricky but absolutely doable. Got an A :)
Amazing prof, learned a lot in this class and unlike other profs he gives you the chance to get a great mark. With that being said dont take it for granted and if you do your work properly and attend class you will be rewarded for your effort unlike other classes in which no matter the effort you only get a B, got an A with an A effort put in
You need to attend all lectures.Midterm and quizzes were easy, questions were from the textbook. The exam was difficult compared to his midterm and quizzes.Thought I failed but I ended up with an A- in the course.I think he bell-curves. Downside: he doesn't email back unless you send it 2 or more times.
Excellent prof. Very helpful and creates interest in the class. One of the best profs at Ryerson.
Amazing Prof. One of the best at Ryerson. You will learn a lot from his class.
Overall a fair professor, there is midterm ( mcq, tf and 2 short answers) same format for final. There are however 2 group assignment, one is a report, the other a presentation, weekly summary writings. Readings are short and marks are not heavily weighted on midtermfinal, so you can still do well if u have a bad day, make sure u read the text!
The course itself is very simple and his grading is very fair. Lior is a wise man, he has many experiences and knowledge from his past employment that relates well to the course topics. His lectures are extremely clear.
great prof. easy marker
Slightly monotone but teaches exceptionally well. Regular attendance and completing practice questions will guarantee an A since exam and tests were very similar to practice questions.
I had this prof for ACC406 and although I never showed up to most classes I was still able to follow through just reading the textbook. I thought I failed the final but I swear he bell curved. Awesome prof who also responds to emails fast too! I would recommend anyone to take this class with him.
Very nice guy who knows his stuff. All his lectures stem from the textbook so if you read the assigned chapters and participate in every class, you'll do great. Midterm and final were really easy. All questions come from the textbook and lecture slides. Very approachable and offers excellent feedback.
Good guy. He can often talk way to much about a topic but he does his best to help students understand. All the quizzes and test were based of homework
Lior is a very nice professor. He has a very clear grading and teaching criteria. I would definitely recommend students to take his class.
He's like the Luke Danes of accounting for all of you Gilmore Girls fans out there. Understanding when needed and teaches fairly. Always open to questions and is willing to slow down to make sure you understand. Attendance quizzes were fair. Overall great teacher
Really good at teaching, makes sure you go to class though. You can tell he gets offended people leave class in between, but he still presses forward in teaching the class properly. Taking him again for ACC406.
Lior was one of my first profs, he was very good at explaining the material and as long as you do the textbook reading before each class (This is key!) and participate in the class you will have a solid understanding of the whole course. He is also willing to answer and clarify any questions you might have. Over all I would recommend.
Slightly monotone lectures but the information is there. Is available for further assistance but prepare to teach yourself the course. Would recommend to anyone willing to work hard.
Great prof, goes really slowly over the material every lecture to make sure everyone understands everything. Seemed a bit cold the one time we spoke outside of class, but his lectures were still amazing. Make sure you understand the content and not just the way the examples are structured, the wording of his test questions will trip you up.
His lectures were a bit monotone but overall a good prof. As long as you have the answer key to the book going to class is not mandatory. Howevet, he explains really well, so going to class would be beneficial. For the final he gave us a guide on which topics to really focus on.
Easiest midterm in life fam. im telling you
Lior does not have a personality at all. He comes to class, makes no effort to make the material seem interesting , and is very unapproachable in general. The one thing I liked about him is that he took his time to explain things. Other than that he was very unhelpful with questions and seemed genuinely annoyed by students. He just seems miserable.
Amazing prof. makes accounting easy to understand
Best prof I've ever had so far at ryerson
Doesn't upload any material on D2L, takes weeks to get a response to an email. Not the ideal prof a student would want to have. Course content is dry as is, but he makes it a bit more dry. If you don't attend lecture, you will pretty much be clueless. Communication is -0.
Hes boring, but the course is boring. His midterms are the easiest compared to the other profs. Hes the only one that offers them in Multiple choice. Goes over most of the class doing textbook problems. You still have to put in the work though.
Going to class is not necessary to do well but the questions gone over in class were very similar to test questions and helpful. The tests and exams were pretty straight forward and very fair. Not overly friendly but definitely takes time to explain things slowly and step by step.
The tests are easy not because of the material but because you can sit arm-locked with someone else writing the tests and everyone share answers lol, he came late 45minutes late for 2-3 classes and seemed like he had a lot of personal problems and caused him to even cancel our second 25% worth midterm 6 minute before the test was supposed to start
Not the most enthusiastic or engaging profs, but is very straightforward. Tells you exactly what types of questions will be on the exams and in-class he doesn't waste your time with irrelevant material. Also goes over questions that are similar to those found on tests and explains well. Take him for Managerial; your GPA will thank you.
honestly only showed up to classes for iclicker quizzes as when he did the in class demo questions, he tended to make such small mistakes in where students spent a lot of time correcting him - tends to be very monotone and confusing and so personally I did better by just reading the textbook and doing the practice questions over and over
Hes a great prof and teaches well, however, the lectures were really dry and boring. He covers everything that you need to know for the exam, and always be prepared before class as there are quizzes each week. Ive never taken ACC in high school, but he made it very easy for me to understand the material. Midterm was easy, exam was a bit tough
Lior is a great prof! He knows the material really well and teaches in a simple and understandable manner. Would definitely take him again!! Get ready to read because the textbook is provided and each chapter is detailed. Midterm and final was fair, make sure to practice all the exam review provided.
He walks you through the chapter examples and explains the quizzes really well. He's a fair marker and usually lets the class out early. He's unenthusiastic when he teaches but if you follow along it'll be fine.
He does problems in class which are almost identical to test/exam questions if you understand the content easy A
Not a good prof for those who say he has the easiest midterm that is not true we all got the same midterm. he Just reads off the slides and fill in the sheets He does not make that much effort in explaining. He also doesnt prepare us for the exam well, he didnt mention that there will be no labelling for the balance sheet which was very important
A-M-A-Z-I-N-G like honestly the best. He goes through each question one by one and actually does it with you. I understood it so much better than my first prof for this class.
Literally the best professor at Ryerson. I don't know but the way he teaches is literally so easy to understand hard concepts. If your first year student in any accounting course wake up early to try to get in his class he's the top prof there super chill guys. I rate him still.
He made a pretty difficult course super easy. Show up, follow along with his practice questions in class and you'll do great. 2 tests and a final all exactly like his practices. Shows up late sometimes, always ends early . Tells you exactly what you need to know and skips unimportant material.
He is a good prof. Helps you understand questions but the only issue is that he not as accessible outside of class. I have emailed him and he does not reply. The only time you can actually see him is in class and during his office hours (if he is in his office at that time).
He is a great prof! Show up to class and follow along with his examples and you'll be set for his exams. He makes hard concepts really easy to understand. He is straight forward with what will be on the exams and doesn't try to trick you.
Lior is so qualified!! He knows his stuff and does a lot of problems in class, Would totally recommend
The professor just goes over the slides and nothing else, I stopped showing up to class after a while. I regret not taking this course online.
He makes the subject easier by doing a lot of practice and examples with you. Show up to class and follow his practice and you'll do really well
I just took CRMG200 for the current semester. I don't know Lior very much but the course outline is the most confusing outline ever. None of the assignments have any description. it just says "Module". there is no Info on any of the material for the next 3 months. I know this course is gonna be hell I hope he sees this and makes things less confus
Such a good prof. Every word that comes out his mouth is important. He doesn't waste time fluffing any content, gets right to the point. Tells you exactly what's on the exams. The textbook for this class is actually really good and easy to study out of. Enjoy this class!
Tests feel fair although wording can be confusing at times.
Lior was okay as my online managerial accounting professor. Provided video lectures to help explain certain questions and concepts. If you complete your weekly homework diligently and review concepts often you should be fine
He is a very understanding guy who is willing to help students. He addresses his student's concerns and in his classes he always lets us know what will be on the tests or exam.
Prof. Lior takes the time to make sure every student understands the concept, he really cares about his students' wellbeing and goes over reviews in the most simplistic way. He is able to explain the concepts clearly too which is very helpful. Just make sure you do the chapters before class so you'd understand what he's covering.
He's a super super laid back professor. That's a good thing because accounting can be stressful. Attending his lectures will give you a better understanding because he makes sure you understand the content. Lectures can get kind of boring but he gives like a 10-20 min break which is needed!
His lectures were pretty dry but he wasnt bad. He teaches well but the only downside is that sometimes hell spend way too much time on a concept and waste class time. He also would start class like 30 mins late each week and sucks at replying to emails.
The online lectures, problems & solution videos are the key. Lior is a bit dry, but explains & goes through them quite well. Watch, do the practice Q's, review & study. No surprises on his tests, most important is you know how to apply the ideas & concepts. The online tests/exams are very extensive, but they're similar to the practice Q's covered
Literally, just do the textbook practice and you'll be fine. Attend the lectures for extra understanding. Everything you learn is on the tests which shouldn't be hard if you do your work. Nice prof, he can be boring but he's still a good prof.
Professor Yitzhaky is exceptional. The textbook for ACC100 is provided and so long that you attend class, participate in the in-class demo questions and literally do the practice questions at the end of each chapter the course should be a breeze. Understandable that the classes can get boring but otherwise, nothing at all to complain about.
Lior is the professor you will want to take if you are not good at accounting. Although he may seem dull, he provides intellectual thoughts and demonstrations to equations that will later make sense. You will need to study for the class with impressive textbook questions he gives. Definitely worth taking a class with Lior Not to mention gold chain
Lior is one of the better profs for this course. It's very important to go to the classes and do the practice questions if you would like to do well in this course! You have to put in the work, but overall Lior is very good at explaining these concepts. He is very knowledgeable.
I don't even know where to begin with him. His online course was so confusing, he was unsure about deadlines and didn't properly communicate with the class, and generally wasn't great at answering emails. His assignments weren't hard so you may get a good grade if you can keep up with his announcements and meet his last minute deadlines.
If you prefer not to attend lectures, Yitzhaky is your best bet. He uploads prerecorded lectures and the actual lecture time is used to take up in class questions. He values his time, so he is quick and concise in letting us know what is important to learn on the exam. The exam was easy.
Course content is a little hard but Lior is able to explain very thoroughly. You won't pass if you don't put in the work to understand the course content. Make sure you read the textbook and do the textbook questions and attend the class for answers.
Amazing prof, super understanding and gives extensions when needed.
Professor Yitzhaky teaches this course well. His Zoom lectures are a bit lengthy, but they're worth it because he goes very in-depth when teaching content. However, he doesn't record/post the lectures. He provides tons of practice and weekly quizzes to test our knowledge of each lesson, which I found beneficial. The weekly workload is manageable.
Explains concepts well but condescending, doesn't wanna answer questions nor emails. Does not let you see your work nor discuss them with you. Unfriendly, hates teaching, rly knows how to f with my anxiety. Shows 0 support. Always late. Lectures are super boring & take forever to get thru. Just horrible.
This prof is actually good at teaching like he explains things properly and says them 100 times and repeats it for those who don’t understand. However he seems so uninterested. He’s there to do his job but he doesn’t care but about students.
Lior was fine. I never attended the lectures since they were pointless, and it is agonizing to watch him use Excel. Tests were fair and the content was not too heavy. At the end of the day, I would do it over again with no problem and study slightly more for a higher grade. No need to go to the lectures and you get what you put in for studying.
I have been at this school for 3 years and this is the first time I felt like I shut down because the professor was disengaged and uncaring for the success of his students. His demeanour is unwelcoming, I would still try to approach him for clarification and guidance, but he was unhelpful. professor really made me feel discouraged and unsupported.
This class is bearable if you are willing to learn. You do have to be independent in this course, meaning if you do not do the work, you will not pass. Everything is provided for you and you have to take the time to understand the concepts and practice practice practice. If the course is hard, there is tutoring and I found that that was helpful.
Professor Yitzhaky explains the concepts in ACC100 very well and goes through everything step by step to make sure you understand. This course really requires you to self-study a lot before class and really know the concepts in and out. Do not slack or fall behind because the content in this course builds upon itself each week.
He's a very straightforward prof, but I feel like his style of teaching does not really prepare you for tests or exams. At most, he picks out 4-5 questions from the textbook chapters and does it through excel (which doesn't make sense because we don't use excel for tests or exams).
Dr. Yitzhaky was pretty straightforward, and went into great detail during his lectures. The only thing I could really complain about was his lack of engagement. Overall, solid prof. The reason I got a low mark is because I did not do readings or homework, but if you put the effort in to this course it is possible to get a high mark.
He goes over some questions during his lectures that are helpful. However, I recommend you to go over the book and do the practice questions. The questions on the exams are similar to the ones on the book, especially the ones on the actual chapter in purple. However, the tests were closed book (so no formulas available) which made it 10 times worse
Half of the class failed the first midterm, says he gives out part marks but that's only if you get the right answer. He goes over a few questions but it's hardly enough for his midterms. I would say go through the textbook and do the practice questions. Fully understand each concept if you're just memorizing the steps that wont really help.
Overall, he isn't THAT bad of a professor tbh. I found that the course itself is a problem. There are quite a few formulas and there are no formula sheets allowed. He goes over the in-class questions pretty nicely and explains it thoroughly.
Pretty average professor. Graded by two tests and a final. Be prepared to review lots and lots and lots of practice questions in order to understand. He only takes up about 5 practice questions during class and calls it a day. Lots of independent learning necessary
VERY hard marker beware of that. He explains concepts very clearly and slowly and makes sure everyone understands in class questions. He also replies to emails very fast and is willing to help. The midterm is 40% and the final is 50% and he's not the biggest fan of handing out part marks.
Absolute BS that we as students are paying 1000 dollars a class for a professor to teach us the curriculum and this guy just didn't want to because of his course outline which was created by the course instructor. I rate this guy a 2/5 because he was nice just kinda rude at times. 5/5 for difficulty because he didn't teach anything.
He isn't a bad prof at teaching but the course requires you to stay on top each week. Midterms were doable if you were caught up each week. On the final you could tell which questions were made by Lior because they were easier and familiar. I heard Maurizio gives part marks but Lior doesn't. If you procrastinate you will do bad probably.
Be sure to teach yourself. The marks are solely based on tests. You will be marked with academic misconduct if you ask for grade changes or appeals.
Very nice prof. Do all the practice questions and you'll be fine. Take him!!!
The class requires consistent effort, but unstuck ai can help with practice questions to really grasp the concepts. Midterms are doable if you stay on top of the work, and the final has familiar questions from the textbook.
Honestly, This prof teaching style ruins him. He expects students to read 100-150 pages of content per week in order to understand the material. In class, he doesn't teach god forbid he does, he only does " demo questions". why would you take a prof that avoids to teach content, besides the final exam was a killer. AVOID.
he expects you to do the homework questions before class and he just takes up those questions during class AS IF YOU ALREADY HAVENT DONE IT. HELP US WITH THE MORE COMPLEX QUESTIONS, NOT TEACHING US WHAT WE ALREADY DID. Also a jagoff, posted in d2l that if you ask for curve or a mark raise you get hit with academic misconduct.
Lior is possibly the worst processor for an accounting course. He doesn't go over lecture slides in class and only quickly solves 3-5 homework questions. And he rushes to get out of the classroom as soon as the class ends. If you have this prof, expect to study the course on your own. He doesn't care about students.
All of the people saying his teaching style ruins him, thats the teaching style for the whole COURSE, lol. I actually like it, review some of the material on your own time but then you pretty much learn it while he does practice questions. The course is hard in general but I think he is a great explainer and lecturer.
He's pretty good. Tests are fair and just like the questions he goes over in class.
Awful, dont take him
Professor Lior was decent overall. The course is built in a way that you mostly have to study on your own, but he goes over practice questions in person, which helps. The course itself is hard, but I liked his grading breakdown which was: midterm 25%, quizzes 15%, two “super quizzes” 20% (all online), and a final exam in person worth 40%.
Lior isn't a bad prof but there are probably better ones you can pick. He doesn't really teach the material and just does practice questions in class so always make sure you know the material before. His marking ways are pretty tough as well as he just gives marks based on the correct answer and not so much on showing your work (still important)
Chill prof, didn't force us to buy the calculator. Does not teach material but just goes over practice questions. Midterm and finals were similar to the practice questions. Simple course that I found easy with some practice.
Awful professor with a terrible attitude. Don't take him. Unrealistic expectations for such a simple course.
Ok this prof is rlly good the questions he takes up in class are the same one that he gives in the midterms. All you have to do is do the h.w questions before coming to class and understand how he got the answer ur good
very friendly and flexible.
His lectures are great but he marks very harshly on exams. Your working isnt graded if you make a mistake, no grades awarded for written formula either, the only thing that matters is the final answer. Answers your emails and cares about students tho.
Took this course twice and couldn't make it past the first midterm. But with prof. Lior's methods are clear, well explained, and not hard to understand. Lectures rely on solving chapter exercises. Attended every class and focusing, and reviewing the solved exercises, here i am averaging almost 80% on both midterms. Lior, you have my blessings.
Lior is the best accounting prof I've had. I had him for ACC406 and did so well in that class that I switched from Business Management to SAF. Luckily, I got him for this course. He is straight to the point, no extra fluff or reading. Do your work and you can get a great mark. Attend the lectures, he walks you through how to solve the problems.
This prof had really helped me improve my grades significantly and I'm thankful I had him as my prof. Take him and make sure you do all your practice your guaranteed to get a great grade!
Unique teaching style. His lectures are strictly textbook question reviews; good for demonstrative purposes, but not instructional. You're expected to learn the procedures/methods on your own time (He does provide tutorial videos for this). If you're looking for a traditional in-class lecture, go elsewhere.
