Teacher is very tough. If you're not fresh out of high school or haven't had some chemistry prior to this, you're in for a rough ride. We started out with 33 students this term (fall '05) and we are now down to about 12. And, they're dropping like flies. If anything, I certainly wouldn't take this class with another one (science). Good luck.

Very Difficult. If you go to her for assistance, she speaks to you as if you're supposed to know the subject. Very condescending and sarcastic. She isn't encouraging at all. If you have had exposure to chemistry, you'd probably be okay. Otherwise, in my opinion, her level of teaching is not at an introductory level. Good luck!!

You shouldnt expect a free ride because it is a 1000 level community college class. She does have an accent, but read below for English just as difficult to understand. Shes not condescending; she actually believes that that we shouldnt need things dummed down for swamp monkeys, meaning she has respect you don't have for yourself. Grow up.

If you can, take a different professor. I though she was okay as a person, but she certainly is a difficult teacher to understand. Her exams were very intense, and she never seemed to appreciate be asked to clarify anything. If you are only taking one or two more classes, you might do okay, but this is not really a teacher who will work with you.

Dr. Woldman was a good professor, not the best but if you study hard and do the work assigned you'll do well. at first she may seem mean but once you get on her good side then shes more chill with you. 4 exams, you don't have to take the final if you have a 90% test avg. Also the naming quiz affect a lot of peoples grades so study hard. Good luck!

She covers material pretty fast, and you really have to work for a good grade (she even says to expect +12 hours of work a week.) Don't need textbook, but you need an access code. Her exams are similar to the sample test, but that alone isn't enough to study. She always gives extra credit questions in her exams so getting that 90% avg isn't hard!

The professor is disorganized, course materials not available until the 3rd week of class, online homework was typically posted so that there would be no opportunity to ask questions related to the assignment before due date, grades were rarely updated, tests did not match the content or focus of either the lectures or the homework assignments

She is a fair professor who expects you to work hard. In class she goes through the material quickly, so I recommend asking questions and participating. Whenever I asked her a question, she was always willing to explain a concept over again or do another example. It's not an easy class, but you will learn a lot if you put in the work.

ASK QUESTIONS. She is able to explain material in depth if you do not understand. Practice the homework questions, finish the assignments before the due date. Chemistry II is a difficult class in general. If you put in the effort she will work with you, but it wont come easy. You HAVE TO STUDY ON YOUR OWN. Dont rely on lecture to pass.

Do not miss class! She covers a lot of information in her classes. She also pays attention to what her students might be struggling with on test & reviews it throughly. Study guides & powerpoints are really helpful. She is very flexible on late lab reports. I feel like you really have to not care to fail her class.

Professor Woldman is a fair and caring professor. Attendance is an absolute must!! Class participation is required. Take good notes(if you can not print lecture slides). The lectures cover a lot of material so ask questions. Homework assignments can tend to be long but htey are very helpful as study material. i earned an A but it was not an easy A.

By far the worst professor I have ever taken. She is disorganized and she does not explain anything. She will lecture from the powerpoint that is completely based off the textbook and will barely use the board to actually show mechanisms. The only way to pass this class is if you know you teach yourself.

Be ready to study! You need to be an expert in order to pass this class with an A. Even if you pass it with C, you need to be very greatful!! Exams are extremely hard unless you are very good with chemistry.. Labs are not that hard but too many things to do. Such 3 hours of lab, lab report, lab question, and etc. It was such a pain! Will never take

She did not even teach, she just gave you formulas and expected you to know how to use them. I had to watch youtube videos just to understand what was going on, so I was forced to withdrawal.

The material is not hard to learn, as long as you know how to teach yourself. Her lectures are long (I took the 3 hour hybrid class) and she never records them unless told to by the students. Very hard to reach outside of lectures, and sometimes won't acknowledge your questions in lecture either. Has yet to reply to any of my emails. Very confusing

She makes you work in this class but she really makes the effort to make sure you understand the concepts behind the material. You have homework to do, classwork, labs, 4 tests (5 counting the final) and one quiz in Chem 1. She might take a while to answer questions. My only problem is that I wish we had more time for tests.

The material is not hard at all but she doesn't teach, you have to teach yourself. I sent her multiple emails throughout the summer and have never received an email back, except for a single email stating that she "only answers when a response is warranted". She never put in a lab grade or my extra credit, which dropped me an entire letter grade.

This professor doesnt know how to teach. She knows the subject well but cannot explain properly about the subject of organic chemistry. I took this during summer semester online. We had a 4 hour lecture with a 10 minute break. Her examples did not help. I did every assignment and she tried to say i didnt turn anything in. Double check grade book.

This professor does not know how to teach chemistry, while she may know lots about the subject she struggles to properly explain it. It can also be difficult to understand her. She can have an attitude at times and you will have pop quizzes which she will only give you 5 minutes to do. The tests are difficult and homework is impossible. HORRIBLE.
