I didn't think I would like this class because I had to take it for a GE requirement, but it was actually pretty interesting. She has really good powerpoint lectures. It's not a super easy class, you have to study, but she made it kind of fun.

Great teacher! Very clear about subject matter and what's expected on the test. Very interesting! If I passed this class and hardley ever went, then NO ONE should fail (I got a B, by the way.) Failing her class is completely unacceptable.

Excellent professor and class! She's nice and funny, and helpful. Good lectures. Lots of visuals and some fun cartoons. There's a lot of work outside of class, but it really helped me understand the material. It's not easy, but I learned a lot. I'd recommend her to anyone.

On-line class is one of the best I've had. There's weekly assignments, but that kept me on track and they were interesting (sometimes even fun!) Not an easy class, but very, very good.

LOL! I don't know what class the last guy was in but OUR paper was only 2000 WORDS (not pages). The paper is a GE requirement, the prof has nothing to do with that. This was a GREAT class (esp for GE)! She's funny, has good lectures and kept it interesting. The homework wasn't hard, you just had to do it, but it's not a class for slackers.

Her class was awesome! I learned a lot about a subject I didn't think I was interested in, but it turns out I am! It's a really, really good class. I'd recommend it to anyone (except someone just looking for an easy A, she does expect you to learn the material, and some of it can be difficult.)

Online class was great! I'm kinda embarrassed to say that I thought it was kinda fun. She's pretty funny too. She makes you look at monkey butts! ha ha! But you have to keep on top of it and do the assignments to do good. Tests were kinda hard, you can't just wing it. Take notes on the lectures that really helped on the exams.

Took this online. Great Professor. She has a great personality and is very helpful. Tedious weekly assignments but, are easy. Midterm was kinda hard (conceptual questions) so study hard for them. I bought the online textbook and haven't even read it. Studied from the powerpoints only since they are really indepth.

I took Anthro at Fresno city but i found this class to be my favorite so far. She's really knowledgeable, extremely dedicated, and goes the extra-mile. I would high recommend this class. The final and Midterm were pretty tough but if you study you should be fine. I wouldn't even by the book just take notes.

Prof. Anderson is one of my most favorite teachers of all time. She makes everything so fun and extremely interesting. I always go to class not only because we use our iclickers for attendance, but because it's so interesting and you get a lot of information from the lectures the most. she also plays a lot of fun videos. GREAT TEACHER

The best online course I've ever taken. Not super easy, but very organized and structured. You know what she expects of you. I actually found it interesting which was a surprise, and she's really funny. :o)

Awesome teacher. I highly recommend her. I also took her online class. And I have to be honest - I learned more from it than almost any of my traditional classes (and I took 18 units). She's helpful,personable, funny, and she returns e-mails dang near instantly. Take her if you can!

Fairly time consuming class. You have to read 300 word book and write 8 pg paper on it. Assignments and quizzes every week. Some weeks require watching an hour long movie. Some assignments are fun and you do learn a lot. Took class online, but tests were still pretty difficult. An "A" is manageable. Only need book for tests.

I took ANTH 161 online with Anderson and LOVED her course. Although it's a time consuming class, an 'A' is easily obtainable, and you will LEARN a lot! Anderson 4 Prez!

This is an awesome online class!! Very structured and material was always engaging. I actually enjoyed doing the weekly assignments and quizzes. She even lets you work ahead so I finished the class 4 weeks early. Very interesting and definitely an easy A.

She is a wonderful teacher! Her anthro class was my favorite, she has a sense of humor and makes her lectures fun and entertaining. Grading is fairly simple, there are weekly assignments and attendance is required, but her class is so fun that you wont want to ever skip it!

She is a very cool professor. I didn't buy the book. Attend class every day, and take good notes (power point)and you'll do fine. Very interesting class even if you don't like anthropology. Recommend her.

She's the sweetest professor with a great sense of humor. Keep up with the notes in class and you'll be fine on in-class quizzes and tests. She responds to email's almost instantly.

I was surprised I liked this class because I was dreading taking it for my W requirement. It was SO interesting! She's a great teacher, keeps your interest and is funny too.

This class is awesome. After taking her anthro 2 class i decided to take her again for anthro 161. Even though its online she makes it as though you were in a class. There are weekly lecture notes, exercises and quiz. Three module tests, and one paper on a book. Overall awesome class. Take notes and dont wait till the last minute. Highly reccomend.

I highly recommend Anderson. I suggest typing notes, so when you take the exams you can use "Cntrl+F" and find it a lot easier. Weekly quizzes and power points online. VERY organized. Prompt with email responses. She offered 23 points of EC! The class is out of points, not weighed. She was GREAT! I got an "A"! An "A" is very doable.

Her online class was a lot of work. Sometimes you watch a 50 minute video for a five point quiz, which can be frustrating. Her powerpoints were very interesting though, and she was extremely helpful. The tests were a lot harder than I expected and the format made them difficult, so make sure you take notes throughout the powerpoints and exercises.

So glad I got into this class! She grades the writing assignments kind of hard but she meets individually with everyone to make sure everyone graduates. She seems to really care about how we do. First time I got real feedback on my writing. Lectures were interesting too, I liked going to class. Who knew?

She's a good and nice professor, but she has ALOT of meaningless assignments that are just busy work. Also her make a difference assignment is hard to commit to and actually participate in if you work.. and it's pretty pointless in my opinion. Overall good professor if you don't mind these type of assignments.

Work is time consuming but easy. Got over 100% and learned a lot. Take notes during reading Power Points. She's very Funny! Have to write 8 page paper on 300 page book. MEET WITH HER AFTER ROUGH DRAFT DONE, SHES VERY HELPFUL! Paper due half way through semester. After it's done, class is easy. She lets you work ahead, done with class 15 days early!

This class is very interesting and you end up learning a lot. Midterm/final are not hard as long as you go to class. There is a lot of extra credit offered as well. I would highly recommend this professor.

Really liked this class and learned alot. There are assignments each week but there not too hard. There's one big hands on project but you get to pick your own topic so it was kind of fun. I'd recommed her, she's pretty nice.

Really easy class. Small assignments/quizzes due each week but it's not hard at all if you did the assignments. Tests were not too hard since it was online and open notes. One reading book and term paper done. The actual textbook, I never even had to open it up. Mrs. Anderson's power point lectures were humorous which made it enjoyable. Recommend.

Awesome class! One of the best online classes I've ever had. Her lectures are interesting and funny. You have to keep up with the work, but you can work ahead of schedule and even get done early. Recommended!

It was easy the only thing is that you have to read a book and write an essay on it. There's only three module with weekly exercises that you can complete ahead. Make sure to go over the power point because it'll be really helpful. Quizzes are straight from exercises so do your exercises! I would recommend this course! Text book not required!

This class is easy-as long as you do the work. It's an online class so there's discussion boards & quizzes every week so make sure to pay attention to the due dates. You do need both textbooks because one of the textbooks you have to do a paper on. The quizzes & exam come straight off from the other textbook. Easy A-you have to try hard to fail.

Professor Anderson's class is fun and informative! Her PowerPoint presentations are long but she makes them enjoyable by adding funny jokes and memes. This class is tough in regards to the material but she makes it easy through her presentations and exercises. Assignments and quizzes due every week but if you put in the effort you'll pass!

Professor Anderson is very fair and generous to her students. She separated her course into modules with powerpoints, participation, assignments, and tests. She is clear what she wants and gives feedback fairly quickly. Powerpoints are extensive and notes should be taken to help with the info. Tests are based on Powerpoints or assignments. DO THEM

We only took two tests, the midterm and final, which both ended up being take homes (one being multiple choice and the other written) & 2 papers. She uses the clickers all the time so I suggest going to class because it could mean the difference between an A and a B. She's really nice and she knows what she's talking about, I thought she was great.

I took her global challenges class, and she's an awesome teacher! Very helpful. The only thing is, the lectures are sometimes really boring. Lots of quizzes and reading. but she can be engaging with her students (at times)

GREAT TEACHER! I took her Global Issues Critical Thinking class online and loved it. The lectures were full of humor. There is a lot of assignments to do throughout the semester but they are not too hard and you can always work ahead to stay on top of things. I highly recommend this class.

Easy online class, read the material, take notes, then quiz. Same thing every week, sometimes you have to do papers or online activities, but other than that it's an easy class. Midterm, paper and final. She's tough on essays and writing, so make sure you know your stuff. Most likely to pass the class if you get 4-5/5 on quizzes. NO TEXTBOOK!

a great professor but i personally did not like the class. lectures were too long, tests were difficult and there is no book to look in. Easy homework. and there is a semester long project on a global issue, its easy but just a lot of work to do for an online class. i wouldn't take this class again

Mrs. Anderson is a funny and nice teacher. I learned several things in her class and none of the lectures were boring. The class is entirely online, so you do have to remember to do the weekly exercises by the due date.

I took Anth 30 online, and it was the best class ever. Anderson was so helpful and the class was pretty easy. Homework every week but it might take you 20 minutes. Only one paper and two tests. Would take again. 10/10 would recommend.

Overall, I thought this class was very easy. There are slide shows for each week (a little long but goes by fast), a quiz, and a discussion board. There's two papers you have but they aren't too bad if you were paying attention to the slide shows. This class was very organized and the prof did her best to make it enjoyable. Super interesting, too!

Lisa is not a corrupted professor. She believes each student has so much potential. I suggest she will be a help i your future later on if you continue to make contact with her. Although this isn't a quick easy A... she will make most of the work easy on you. Also, try not to procrastinate much on this class. It can add up

The whole semesters work is posted so I was able to get ahead and get the weekly quizzes out of the way (usually just 5 questions on the week's topic). One pretty long paper, but thats about it. The ppt lectures were actually interesting and entertaining sometimes, made going through em less painful. This is exactly how a G.E. class should be!!!

Lisa's Anthropology online class is EXCELLENT. Take it. Take it take it take it!!! You wont regret it! Seriously her class is structured and laid out in such a clear and simple way. It very easy to know what is due when and you can work ahead in the class! Stay on top of the weekly assignments, take notes off the lectures and you'll do fine!

I actually really enjoyed her class! All the assignments were very clear and she is very clear about her expectations. Just take notes on lectures and complete the exercises and you'll easily pass!

She was a fantastic professor. Her power points were rich in detail, and the tests reflected on that. Make sure to take lots of notes to ensure you have every thing down. She gave wonderful, honest feedback on my research paper that made me grow as a writer. Great professor!

Hands down the best online class I've taken at state. Shes really funny and the lectures are actually interesting. It's really organized so you always know whats up. I took it for GE and didn't expect to get much out of it but it was awesome. Love the memes and gifs. :D Recommended.

I took this online with her and I'm so glad I did. She was so interactive with us students and you can tell she really cares. There is homework every week but it isn't bad at all. 1 midterm, 1 final and 1 paper. Pretty straight forward and not difficult at all if you read the PowerPoints.

Overall this one one of the classes where I got the opportunity to learn a lot of things. As long as you do all the required assignments you should be able to pass the class. The tests are a little hard so make sure you study and have your notes handy when you take the test.

This was a really good class. Professor Anderson is so nice and caring and the topics were all intersting. Weekly homework thats not too hard but you have to keep up on. One of the easiest upper GE courses to take and a great Professor. She uses a lot of memes and she makes her modules and assignments straight forward. Sometimes lecture can be heavy along with video assignments (must watch for quizzes), but as long as you do the work you will pass! A paper is due mid-semester so get started on it ASAP.

I found her lectures hilarious. This class was online so she made her ppts as enjoyable as possible. There was one essay due that she offered extra credit on. There are weekly quizzes and assignments as well as videos to watch. Make sure you give yourself enough time to watch them as they are quizzed on and can be up to an hour long!

I really enjoyed this class. Professor Anderson puts great memes out per week that I really enjoyed. There's a small lecture and quiz every week, but just look through the powerpoint (command F) for the quizzes and it should be fairly easy. 1 term paper that is pretty easy, and 1 midterm/final that is from all the powerpoints up until that point.

If you read the lectures you will be able to complete the assignments and quizzes with ease. She gives a clear and concise description of what is required for each assignment. Overall, she was an excellent professor and the material she taught allowed me to be a bit more open minded and informed.

This was my first online class that I've ever taken and tbh it wasn't that bad. Powerpoint slides are really long, but she adds a lot of funny images to make the slides less boring. You have a module due every week, some you can do in a day but I suggest you finish it a few days before the due date.

She's funny and uses a lot of memes, but you still learn a ton, and it's really interesting. I actually looked forward to logging on to read thru the lectures. Take her!

Really enjoyed this professor. 1 term paper that was simple and 2 exams. Quizzes off of powerpoints once a week that were not difficult at all. The information she has in the powerpoints is super interesting as well. Overall awesome experience! Highly recommend this professor! Make sure not to turn anything in late though! Idk why her difficulty rate is 2.7 she is honestly so easy! I absolutely love her class! We have weekly quizzes and discussion due every wed super easy. She really cares about your mental health and understands of you need more time! She is so sweet and this class was interesting and easy! All the quizzes are based on the PowerPoints !

One of the more fun professors I have had. Weekly quizzes, discussions once in a while, one midterm, one final, and one essay. Honestly, this is a very easy class. "I try to remove the professionalism mask that most professors put on" was what she gave to me as feedback. She is truly tries to connect with her students through gifs and memes.

She is a very funny professor with her gifs and memes she posts weekly! The material from her course really makes you open your perspective on the issues happening in today's world. Quizzes are due weekly on Wednesdays and she has a few DBs in the course. There is one big paper near the end of the semester. One midterm and final! Study study study!

AMAZING! online w/COVID. weekly modules & assignment (easy), 1 paper (easy), 1 midterm & final (easy-review it). take notes, review, and you'll be fine. modules can be done in a day, exams are like assignments (gives SG), paper is doable. responds to emails fast, lectures are great and not boring. take this for GE! plus there's Extra Credit.

This professor is amazing! She is funny and makes the lecture relatable and not too boring. Considering this class is fully online, it can be hard for some to keep up with work. But, if you are someone like me who likes to get things done ahead of time this is the class to take. The work load is not heavy and is actually interesting.

If you want to pass this class, I recommend trying to get as far ahead as possible with the work because of how much is actually given. She opens up all her assignments for you to do at your own speed but try not to turn in late assignments because she gives extra credit if you don't. It consists of weekly quizzes, midterm, final, and 1 major essay

Professor Anderson is the best! I loved her class. It was a digital campus class so we didnt have to meet synchronously which I liked because I could work at my own pace. The assignment were easy she gave us a week. We just had to take notes on the powerpoint & then taking a short quiz. Shes also funny, she adds gifs to the modules & announcements

Very funny and nice professor. You would access lecture on a powerpoint presentation and take a quiz every week. She was also very lenient with late work but you should always try to turn it in on time.

I felt like she actually cared about me and my mental health she genuinely cares for her students so don't be afraid to email her. You have a quiz every week but they are based off of the weekly readings and PowerPoints that she uploads to canvas. You have a few fun discussion boards, and one paper but it is not hard and you can revise it for EC!

Very easy class for your GE. She cares for her students, she's very understanding if you communicate with her. Easy grader, offers easy extra credit points. One essay, weekly quizzes, but super easy if you take notes on her lecture.

I had Professor Anderson for INTD177 course in Fall 2024 & she was really great. She organized the modules very nicely & all the assignments are easy. We had weekly quizzes but they are about the slides that she adds on the module so it's not hard at all. She was also very fun with it too! I would definitely recommend her! light work ngl she's cool

Took INTD177 for my MI requirement, This was such a great class! Professor Anderson is great. It's really organized, I was never confused about what we were supposed to do. Lectures were interesting. Weekly quizzes and some discussions, no exams, two papers where you get to be someone from another country which was kinda fun, I Recommend 100%.

The easiest/stress-free class I've taken this semester! No mid-terms or finals (might be subject to change bc she was trying something new this sem) and 3 extra credit opportunities. At least 1 assignment due every Wednesday, but it's extremely easy. She also opens all assignments so you can work ahead, I highly recommend taking advantage of that.

Awesome professor, super easy, loved her class! She opens assignments for the whole semester at the beginning. Take advantage of this! You can finish the whole class in half a semester. She sends out reminders and has personality, would also be a great professor to take in person.

I was nervous taking an online class for the first time because maybe things would be more difficult for me but why did this end up being my easiest class. This professor is great and very kind. She doesn't have any finals or midterms so that's a plus and the writing assignment which is her biggest assignment is super easy too.

9 week summer course with a pretty consistent homework schedule. Weekly quizzes based off of power points provided. 4 essay prompts with 500 word minimum. 1 midterm essay with 1500 word minimum. This professor is really understanding and provides thorough feedback in a timely manner. She also provides writing tips if you need them.

Took this W class over the summer. The schedule was a little intense because it was in half the time as a regular semester, but it was doable. Interesting topics. Five writing assignments that she gives good feedback on. No exams but small quizzes on the lectures. Excellent professor. Seems super nice and caring. Recommended.
