I love her!! she is a great professor, always eager to help her student in anyway. she makes the class fun, every interesting. as for the assignments, very easy!! as long as the do the work, you will have no problem passing the class. so i highly recommend her.

She is an excellent professor, I learn everything very easily in her class. She gives little homework, but a lot of extra credit so it's easy to pass her class with no problems.

I can not believe anyone would say ANYTHING bad about this professor!! Lisa is the best teacher I have ever taken and I hated history until I took this class. She is a great teacher! Prof. Blank did a great job of encouraging new ways of learning. She does show a lot of videos but I wouldn't have learned half as much from assignments out of a text book. I took her for history 1301 and 1302. These where some of my favorite classes and I usually dislike history. No late work accepted but so many extra credit opportunities you can still make an A if you miss a paper or do bad on a test. I wish I could take her again!

Professor Blank is a very laid back and honest lady. Her tests are straight forward, 1st test is an at home test and the others are pretty easy. Only occasional short daily writing grades, no homework. Just show up to class and try, you will make an A. She offers extra credit. We watch videos, use power points and the book for notes. <3 Her.

Professor Blanks tests were very difficult but she was more than willing to help you prepare. If you go to her study session the tests are not difficult but if you do not go then they are very hard. If you just do what she asks then you will be fine.

She is extremely helpful and her powerpoints are very well put together! her notes help you prepare very well for her tests. you'll have to work, there are about 5 essays, but as long as you follow her guidelines you should do just fine. she also offers ex credit for taking papers to writing center!

She is an excellent professor. I've never been very interested in History and I always dreaded going to History class in the past, but not hers! She makes it fun and interesting! We even took a field trip... She uses lots of videos, and practically tells you exactly what's going to be on all the tests. This class is very interactive.

Prof Blank's class is simple. All you have to do is show up and take notes. Literally she has about 6 assigments so there is no overwhelming stress. As long as you stay organized, study, and come to class, easy A.

I had Prof. Blank for both of my histories and I loved her! Pop quiz every Friday from the hand out you have to print on the Monday before. She really wants you to succeed. Will give extra credit. Her notes from her PowerPoint is on her tests. She does give some trick questions but you can figure it out.

She's great. Took 1301 & 1302 with her, she was one of the best profs I had at TCC. She knows her stuff, and she wants you to get it too. She's fun, and funny, and she really wants you to succeed. She does NOT post her slides online, so you do have to be in class and pay attention or copy them down. But if you do that, it's hard not to do well.

Prof. Blank is truly awesome. She really does want you to succeed. If you don't that's on you. She gives you every tool you need to pass with a great grade. She gives lectures as if she was telling a story, and keeps it interesting. She tells you exactly what to copy down and how to study for the weekly quiz and the test. Love her!

She is by far the best History teacher I have ever had, she does not go by book. I took Lisa Blank for 1301 and 1302 and i have never learned this much of history with any other teacher. But if you do take her you have to show up for class she will not let you take pictures of her slides and don't be late. I would take her again for an elective.

Great, great teacher. Passionate about history and gives engaging lectures. She gives plenty of extra credit AND does not require textbook purchase. However, you have to be in class because all of your notes come from her PowerPoints. She will work with you if you have unexpected circumstances come up and she's accessible outside the classroom.

She is a really good teacher, very engaging in-class. She gives all of her notes from her powerpoints, book purchase is not necessary at least for 1301-1302. She will NOT let you take pictures of her powerpoints, though, so you have to be in class. She gives quizzes weekly, reviews for the tests, and you have to read online articles.

The class was fun and easy and really went in depth with the history. We did have to read short passages for the quizzes but if you read them the quizzes are very easy. If the class as a hole has good attendants she will help you out by giving you reviews for the tests. I would recommend her for all history classes.

FAVORITE TEACHER EVER! I've never been good with history but she definitely made me fall inlove with history, she has great lectures. a reading every week and a quiz following it very easy do the reading and the quiz will be a piece of cake. she drops the 3 lowest grades at the end of the semester. I took her twice and totally recommend her!

I took her History 1302 blended class which was an 8 week course and it was hard work, like homework on top of homework but it was homework you can actually get excited about and enjoy! I took Professor Blank for two classes and would her take again if I could. She has great PowerPoints that she made herself with pictures from actual historical trips she took. She's very dedicated to her job and obviously loves her subject. Her lectures are very informative and interesting and she is a caring professor overall. Highly recommend!

This class was an Easy A. Show up take notes, read your book, do simple 250-word essays and you're golden. Her grading is pretty easy as long as you hit the points she tells you to. This 8-week course consisted of me writing essays every week (about 500words).Drops 3 lowest grades (not exams). On exams, you are able to use all your essays, notes and articles. Such an amazing teacher !! definitely recommend

Ive never understood or liked history, but I left her class knowing and enjoying so much. She lectures off of powerpoints and gives you time to write what is on her slide. Weekly quizzes but theyre not hard and only three big tests, but we were allowed to have any notes! There's A Ridiculous amount of xtra credit. My final grade was a 116!!

One of the best professors I've had since I started college, she might seem like a tough grader at first, but she gives great feedback. I learned how to cite properly and learned many things . I learned more about citing in this class than at my English and composition classes. Following directions is key. Caring teacher, I would take her again!

I honestly was looking forward to this class, given the fact the I LOVE HISTORY. However, it is only a 500 word essay due every week. There are no quizzes or lectures actually taking place, which takes away from the learning experience. I would not take this class again.

We had to write an essay paper once a week, that's it. She provided the sources to read and watch from. I would say I learned a lot from the resources she provided, the only downside was writing because it wasn't my strongest suit, however, I would be honest and say that I've improved because of it. Overall a nice & easy class.

Her class is very simple: just do the work youre given and a good grade will follow. The only assignments you have are the weekly reflections, and even then you get 4 drops if you want to take a week off. If youre already knowledgeable in the subject and want an A, this is a great choice. Shes also extremely nice, which is always a plus.

I loved Professor Blanks class! Only one assignment per week and it's a 500 word reflection. She's so nice and gives great lectures. She also provides good resources so it is easy to reach the word count. She drops four of your reflections so you can skip some weeks if you'd like. She also offers plenty extra credit and corrections/make up grades.

Took her for spring and she's an amazing professor! she is VERY passionate about history and keeps the class alive. She is a great History teacher. If you are only taking this class as part of your degree requirement and not because you're majoring in it, I totally recommend her. It is only graded by 4 test (super easy). She really likes the subject a lot. Her classes will be lecture most of the time, but she makes her lectures interesting as she loves history.

Professor Blank is a very sweet professor and is SUPER flexible and understanding. The class consisted of three exams discussing what you learned as well as an optional final. If taking this class for your degree, Prof. Blank doesn't discuss anything post-WWII. However, she is an excellent professor for those focusing on other academic areas.
