She likes it when you go to class and gives a hint here and there about the exam questions (nothing major). Some of the questions in her part of the 2nd exam were really difficult (average was in the 60s), but overall she is not not a bad professor. Its just that Anatomy is a REALLY difficult subject, so be prepared to study a LOT!

Anatomy is a difficult subject, so prepare to study! It is possible to get the A but you really have to work for it. Dr. Brinn was a really great professor. She's helpful and compassionate. She truly cares about her students and always willing to help. 3 exams and weekly quizzes. Go to office hours! Specially when preparing for exam 2.

Dr.Brinn is super sweet. She and Dr. Eleazer teach the class together, however both have different teaching styles. Exam 2 is SUPER hard (avg was a 68). You must study a lot and take good notes. Don't memorize notes, you must understand them and ALL their concepts as some questions on the exams actually require you to think. BOOK highly recommended

Class consists of 4 exams, clicker questions, and 9 quizzes. Lowest quiz is dropped. Exams come straight from ppt and lecture, so you have to attend to take good notes. You need at LEAST one week of study time before each exam. You will fail otherwise. Tough class but doable. I received an A.

Dr. Brinn's portion of the lectures/exams were very straightforward. Study only what she says and what's on the PPTs. Record the lectures, I can't emphasize this enough. This is what got me an A. Easy B, but you have to put the work in for an A. My only complaint is that the clicker q's were heavily weighted. Nice lady.

I studied 5-7 days before lab exams and always received an A. Here's what worked for me: Google the anatomy models and you'll find a plethora of similar (if not same) models all labeled. For example, "Liver anatomy model." Use YouTube for muscle models. Seems like a lot at first but Google is a lifesaver. Use "Essential Skeleton 3" App for Exam 1.

You should expect to watch an online lecture for about 45 mins each day, come to class and answer a couple (5-10) clicker questions and then do a group activity. Exams are hard and you need a lot of time to study. There is a 5 question quiz every week and the lowest score is dropped. The professor isn't very helpful, understanding or knowledgeable

She is a college professor teaching an upper division class. Is her teaching methodology great for everyone? No. Does she spoon feed you material? No. But, if you show effort, she will consider it. If you go to her office hours she will help you. Watch the videos, take notes, ask questions and youll be FINE. She wants you to learn, not memorize.

Honestly professor Brinn teaches mostly upper division courses and because of that the material will never be easy. However, she makes attendance and participation help your grade big time. Exams individually aren't worth much but they add up all together. Her final is always super easy. Overall i recommend her if you are trying to learn material.

I have taken extremely detailed notes, so detailed in fact, I have found anywhere between 2-4 significant errors in Brinns verbiage. When I confronted her about these errors she made, she brushed me off and just said, oh ok. Precisely those same concepts come out on the exam and she marks them wrong. I had to prove her wrong by bringing the book.
