Ms. Campbell is great. I was a little nervous about taking Public Speaking but she made the class fun and enjoyable. I looked forward to actually attending class. She is motivated and is always willing to answer questions and is very helpful. I would definitely recommend this instructor. Definitely take her class.

Honestly the sweetest lady. Willing to help with anything! Will talk with you after class, easy to get to by e-mail. Gives you more than enough time to plan out drafts and speeches. When critiquing she is never rude and always motivating. Speech is usually isn't fun, but she made it enjoyable.

I had the best time in this class this teacher is the most helpful and kindest teacher I have ever met she is very helpful and understanding she helped me meet new people and build trust and be a confident speaker because of her I met my bestfriend and I wouldn't have had it any other way I would most definitly take her again if given the chance

Seriously one of the best teacher's I have ever had. She is super sweet, and willing to help you succeed. But do not go to her the last day of class and ask for extra credit. I will tell you the secret to an A. Go to class, Listen to her lectures, (if you listen you don't need to read) and put 110% in your speech. :)

I've attended college in San Antonio and Corpus Christi, and Mrs. Campbell is easily my favorite professor of all! She's such a beautiful person, inside and out, cares deeply about her students, gives excellent feedback on assignments, and will do everything in her power to help you with speech. Show up, participate in class, and you'll do great!

Mrs. Campbell was one of my favorite professors for the Fall 2016 semester. She cares about her students and does what she can to help you pass. She offers extra credit, there are 2 speeches, and one mock interview, and very little reading from the textbook. It's hard to fail this class as long as you put some effort into it but attendance is key.

She is a wonderful professor! She tells great stories and really does try to help you get the best grade you can. She lectures every class, but as long as you take notes you will do fine. Both tests were take home and super easy, one group assignment, and 2 speeches. I LOVED HER!

Mrs. Campbell made speech and communication easy and comfortable. Her lectures were amazing she was so involved in them, and she loved class participation. She is a huge Dallas Cowboys fan, and always after game day we would discuss the game. She made me more aware of myself, and helped me to become a better speaker. She is so AMAZING!!!!

Professor Cambell is awesome, she really gives clear instruction and is great with extra credit. If you miss a class you will fall behind especially toward the end of the semester. She is very understanding about personal issues but you have to communicate with her. She is funny and always gives great feedback to help you understand. TAKE NOTES

I was worried that I would be falling asleep during her daily lectures but she kept it entertaining and was great at making all the material relatable. She's genuine and answers her emails asap! If you need to take Speech definitely choose her.

Easy A. Do all the assignments and no problem. She's a big Dallas Cowboys fan and has interesting life stories. Mid-term and Final exams are take-home and we did 3 speeches, one was a group speech.

Super person and teacher. Mrs. C really cares that you learn. She is very helpful and her class if very organized. If you are having problems speak up (even in class). She will happily and politely help you. Her class was fun. I took her in a summer course and it zipped by. Wish I taken her for Public Speaking too. Amazing teacher.

I am still taking Mrs. Campbell's class and have never felt more open to questions in my life. She is inviting and very insightful. People call her an "easy A", but she simply just provides the tools for success in the most reasonable way possible- hence, an easy 'A' SO LONG AS YOU DO THE WORK. Show up to class, participate, do some worksheets, & yes you will have to do some speeches in front of the class, but THAT'S EXPECTED in a speech class. Don't worry, you will pass as long as you try!

If you fail this class... you need some help. Her work is very doable and easy!! This is by far the best teacher at Del Mar. Show up and try and Mrs. Campbell will most definitely meet you on the other end. You don't really need a text book, but then you do. I would get a used or borrow cause you don't use it the whole semester!

Well another believer! I took Professor Campbell's class because of her ratings on here. Shes a super sweet passionate professor. I dreaded taking speech but her class is setup to make you feel comfortable with everyone and by the time your speech comes around you really do feel like you're taking to your friends. Awesome class. Awesome professor.

Took her online since I registered late. She is amazing! Enough good things cant be said about this amazing professor. But I will say this, take her for speech!!! Online was amazing due to my imense public speaking fear.

Took this class for Summer online, so we had assignments due about every other day since it is a summer class. You will need the book and will also have to provide an audience of at least 5 people for two separate speeches. She had a good amount of spacing between assignments, and she allows you to work ahead of time.

She is seriously the best! Mrs. Campbell genuinely cares about you and your education. She is a great motivator and gets to know you on a personal level!! Highly recommend her for speech! Wish she would teach 1315 but I honestly feel she gave me a great foundation to take the dreaded public speaking class :/

Great professor & easy to talk to. I had a fear of public speaking, but she really helped me come out of my shell. You wiil do group projects & participation is important. Two oral presentations, but they are fairly easy. I really enjoyed this class. As long as you show up and do the work, it's an easy A.

Best professor ever, everytime I had a question, I emailed her & she replied within 2-3 hours. When I emailed her about questions that were clearly in the syllabus she never hesitated to be rude and tell me to go read it. She took the time to explain what I needed to be explained. Probably one of the most patient and caring professors ever.

Professor Campbell is very caring and easy to talk to. She gives very clear grading instructions and the speech instructions are very detailed and thoroughly explained. She has expectations for work to be turned in on time but does consider personal situations if needed.

A truly amazing professor. She genuinely cares about all of her students and does her best to make sure you succeed. A lot of professors won't care if you fail, they still get paid, but not this one. The effort and consideration she puts towards her students is remarkable, as she does it when she doesn't have to. I hope I can have more like her.

Very good professor. Took her online so I never met her, but she was always very clear about what to do for assignments and what she will be grading your speech on. Very detailed instructions on how to write and present speeches. Lots of work but assignments are fairly easy, plenty of grades in the grade book at the end of the semester.

Lisa Campbell is awesome. You have a lot of reading and a few speeches but they are very easy just set time aside to get the work done. Discussions once a week and quiz.

Professor Campbell was really uplifting; she always pointed out the bright side while showing me how to improve myself and helped me to become a much better speaker!

I took her class this summer (6-week course), which is super intense. We read ten chapters and completed ten quizzes in the first two weeks, and for the following two weeks, we needed to complete two speeches with an outline, work cited, and video audiences. Time-consuming for sure, but you will pass as long as you stay on top of everything.

She was a great professor and understood our grades.

I've had a fair share of horrible teachers but she makes me feel like I can keep going and that there are good professors out there. the work was manageable as long as you do it you'll be fine!

My only complaints are that she will move assignments months over it was due and takes forever to grade.

I took Professor Campbell's online SPCH course. She has a very clear syllabus. The course will involve lots of reading, 2 tests, and 2 speech presentations, etc.. Moreover, Professor Campbell was available outside of class and responded to my email questions. Just stay up to date with her assignments, and you will succeed in her class.

This class was pretty difficult for me, but I have social anxiety, so I don't want to give too high a difficulty score. 😅 Some complaints: Grading was slow, which meant less feedback to work with on the second speech. I also emailed once, but didn't get a response. She was a generous grader though so I can't complain too much. Would take again.
