She is very thorough and answers questions you may have until you understand the problem or chapter. Her lectures include writing rules and formulas on the board which is very helpful in comprehending new math. She is friendly.

Very easy teacher. You don't need to do the homework to pass the tests. She speaks in a monotone voice that will eventually begin to bore you; however, she is very clear on what you need to know and drops your lowestest test score. 5 tests total.

She is a good teacher. Do the homeworks that she tells you to you will be fine. Gives you probles that will be on the test and I if you do them you will see the same problems on the test. I would take her again. Not mean on the ringing of the cell phones, but try to keep them off as mush as possible

She was wonderful. For someone who has to work a little bit harder to make math make sense, she was a Godsend. She truthfully wants to see you do well. Talk to her if you are having trouble. Use the math lab. She works there and will spend hours helping if you need it! She's the best!

This semester has been so fun so far. Professor Cohen is very down to earth and acts like your peer. She gives amazing direction and lectures. She is also one of the nicest people I have yet to meet in Florida. She is extremely smart and can answer almost any question you might have.

Great professor. She answers ALL questions and makes sure that everyone understands. I call it remedial trig b/c it moves so slow. You would have to try to fail. Very clear, realistic and fair. Do the homework, she explains it so it makes sense. You will pass if you make an honest effort.

I took her for trig and it was my first time ever being in a Trig class and she made it quite easy to learn. She spends time helping those that want to be helped even in the evening after class. I liked her teaching style so much that I am taking again for business calculus.

Have her for Biz Calc, she's clear in what she teaches. She's willing to help, you just have to ask. She truly wants everyone to learn. Won't hand hold if you don't know Algebra. Class tough, teacher awesome.

Awesome teacher! She doesn't require that you turn in homework which is a plus for me since I'm ADD and normally don't finish it all in time for class. Also the way she teaches is awesome, it looks like I'll actually pass College Algebra this semester (I took it from a different teacher who dropped me and waited till I showed up to take the final to tell me) Proco is awesome and explains everything very clearly. I deffinately will try to get her for future classes.

I took her academic systems class. The math sucks, but she's great. She is really understanding and easy to approach. She makes sure you get it. She won't hold your hand though.

took her for 1033c it be easy if you go and do the work. i dropped it because i had a 59% because i didnt go to class do homework or go to the labs and that good stuff. but i thought she was an excellent teacher, and did a good job at explaining and keeping the class interesting despite the fact that it was at night. you just actualy have to try.

Great Professor, I didnt really get much from her style of teaching. I would take her if you like math though. She is funny and being in her class is enjoyable. I havent done math in years, and she has totaly revived my interest. She is an awesome teacher, and explains things well. That being said it is still up to you to do the homework and take notes, she wont help you get "caught up" if you fall behind. Pro Co is THE BEST MAYH teacher that I have ever had. I had attempted college algebra three times before I had her and failed or withdrew all of them. I hate algebra with a passion and she was so helpful. If you show that you are willing to work hard and try your very best, she will help you as much as she can. I got a B!

Professor Cohen was hands down the best math teacher I've ever had! I worked my ass off in this class however and managed to get an A (I was 1 of 2 that did) She knows math better than anyone and explains material clearly and in a fun way. Some complained she liked to Brag about her intelegence, but anyone who studies the length of ocean waves can.

Math has been my largest downfall in college. I have had trouble completing the prep courses I was suprised to be even in this course. Through her way of testing her notes are very clear and go hand to hand with the test. She responds to email very promptly and has excellent advice for students with anxiety such as myself.

Math is not an easy subject for me. Prof. Cohen is clear and will go over stuff multiple times if need be. The tests aren't a walk in the park so STUDY. If you have an SL and you can go.. go! Overall not bad. Not the BEST Math teacher I've ever had but pretty darn good. She's a bit sarcastic but in a funny way unless you can't handle a joke.

this class was soo easy for me. She teaches pretty well. Has things called cornerstones that help you on the test. her final was multiple choice and easy. just study and do the homework. you should do fine in the class. I took her beginning algebra summer-B course. This lady is amazing. She's the type of teacher you don't want to disappoint. Her lectures are worth going to class for, she explains things clearly without boring you and its not too overwhelming. She's also pretty funny and will keep you entertained.

I am usually a horrrrriblleee student in math but professor cohen was awesome!! i understod everything and the class was a breeze for me shes funny and keeps it interesting. i would take her again. and i reccomend you do to.

If you can make it past the midterm it gets easier. Not an easy A but if you do the work and show up for the lectures you can make it. She was a bit hard to understand at first. She will give extra credit, drop lowest test score but only after midterm. Good professor.

Prof. Cohen is funny, but she expects you to know the concepts of all prerequisites. Tests are hard and no extra credit, but she is very fair with grading.Don't buy the book, only the access code for online h/w. Great Professor. She is always willing to help and explains everything in the most simple way possible. She teaches factoring in a way that even the biggest noob can understand it. She goes through the material rather fast, but if you do the online homework you will be fine. She refuses to teach anything twice, so make sure you go to every class.

I took this class online over summer. It was very hard. you have to teach yourself everything. If you are good at math and can teach yourself its great for you. I had to withdraw because I needed a teacher to actually teach me.

Took online in the summer. For each chapter, you have to do the homework and quiz in MML, do the practice problems in the book and email them to her, and then go to the testing center to take the test. You should do the practice problems in MML as much as you can!!That's how I got an A. The test are hard, but she's a fair grader. I would recommend.

A lot of work and u need to work on HW almost everyday if you want to keep up. Assng and Q is not difficult but Test will be in testing center and that's tough. Better do all your Q, HW and Assgn before you take on test. Do not need a book, but have to buy online access to MML which has e-book. She grades fair and removes lowest quiz and HW.

It's not that hard, trust me. I've always gotten C's and below in math until I took her. I actually knew what I was doing and it got a lot easier.

Really easy course. She's a little sarcastic and makes side jokes here and there but overall a good professor. She goes through the problems step by step and always answers your questions. There weren't many tests and the professor got back to me right away on questions. Even on evenings and weekends. Everything was very straight forward and she gives partial credit on the exams so even if you get the answer wrong, as long as the work was correct, she'll still give you some credit. Loved the class.

I took both her math accelerated courses to be caught up for this semester. She is a VERY good teacher and knows what she is talking about. I based my grading on the professor and not the fact that I signed up for an accelerated course and expect it to be easy, but it wasn't hard either. You get what you put into it. Homework is level is moderate.

Professor Cohen is hands on. Show's a lot of examples and teaches for the whole class. Clear cut when it comes to anything. Explains and helps really well. Homework is daily and important not to miss class, she moves quickly at times.

She is funny and helpful. She assigns quite a bit of homework on web assign. There were 4 tests 3 during the semester and a final no midterm the tests are hard but she gives practice tests, and I recommend going to the MATH SPA to get help before tests. I LOVE THIS PROFESSOR!

I took this class with an SL leader which is probably how I passed because I was able to reaffirm what she was teaching with him. She kinda comes off as sarcastic and moody but I think that was because my class was doing poorly. Took 3 tests and studied 2-3 hours with a math tutor in school (passed). Final is multiple choice. Overall, tolerable.

Clear cut and to the point. LOVE THAT IN MATH! Shows by examples. Leaves time for you to copy everything down while working across the board. Such a great math professor and loves what she does! Taking her again for another math class.

Prof. Cohen very easy going, always gets straight to the point. I told this course in the summer and even with a little bit of time she took time to make sure we all got it. There was also a lot of help offered ( SL, SPA, & Lab). If you think this is a class you will get out early, YOU'RE WRONG! There's always plenty of time!

She is an awesome professor. There are 5 exams after (one after each chapter), TONS of homework (slightly easy; key is to stay on top of it; tutoring center is a must if you are struggling). She explains the material with only the needed information, but beware she is not question friendly. She will answer one question and not much more after that.

This teacher went out of her way to help me when I needed it the most. Highly recommend her because she is down to Earth and actually cares about her students.

Easily one of the best profs I've ever taken. She cares, she's passionate and she will not hesitate to call you out on your BS. Big fan of that. Took her in an 8 week term, it was...interesting, she worked with us, and despite my hesitance on math in general, she put in the work to help us understand. 10/10.
