She is a good teacher and knows the material well. I would have paid more attention in class if she would have wore more short skirts though. Boring material but do the homework and you'll pass the tests with an average score.

She is pretty good. Be sure to do all the homework. Don't be fooled with how easy the class seems,,,it gets much harder...you better study!

She's very concise, easy to understand. Although she's a great teacher, she doesn't really chat with the students. That may be why some students find her stern. Nonetheless, she knows her trig.

I found her pretty easy. She was very helpfull in her office hours if there was problems with homeork you just have to approach her!

If you go to class, pay attention, do all the practice problems the tests will be a breeze. Attendance does not matter, but to get the notes and do well try not to miss. She is a really nice lady, and she drops the lowest test grades.

Ms. Crespo is fun. She knows math, and will stop if you have questions. A lot of people said she is hard. Truth is, she has to keep the speed going because of the department. Do homework, and attend class. Math is always harder to catch up with when you miss class. I think shes great. This is my 2nd semester with her.

Excellent teacher. Not friendly though. Never smiles. But is crystal clear when it comes to teaching the curriculum. Highly recommend her.

Crespo is a good teacher, but isn't very friendly at all. I think I saw her smile MAYBE once? Tests are often harder and a bit different from the notes and homework given. The fast pace was a bit annoying, but I don't think it could be helped.

Mrs. Crespo keeps to herself but also really nice. She teaches very thourough. Don't fall asleep or you'll miss one detail that is very important! Take her. I would retake her class but UNO can't seem to care if they change a students schedule and screw up their chances in passing.

One of the best teachers at UNO! I took her for both math 1115 and 2314. If you make sure you go to class and take notes, you'll be fine. Guides for test help out big time and she doesn't mind helping you outside of class either. Overall, great teacher.

The lecture is sometimes boring. I often lose interest. But when I pay attention, its pretty clear. Just make sure you get a new book, you will need the online "mymathlab" registration.

Excellent teacher! If you have a problem with a homework question she will go over it with you one-on-one. She does not take up class time to discuss a homework problem with the entire class. She is very thorough. If you do your homework and attend class, you will pass.

Just a wonderful person. You won't find anything to complain about in her class. She is very clear, easy to follow, and her grading is pretty fair. Her HW also wasn't bad. I've seen other stats teachers, and I'd say Crespo is the best.

I had to retake 2785 after failing it the previous semester with a different professor. Crespo was a FAR better instructor than the previous one I had. Alot of material to cover, so yes she did go fast. But at the same time was able to explain everythnig and was clear. Outstanding teacher!!!! Would take her again if I could.

She is wonderful and super helpful! If you go the homeworkwork and study guides you will be fine.

Super teacher. The subject is not easy, so be ready to put in 4-6 hours per week on mando online homework and DO THE SAMPLE PROBLEMS..or meet your fate! She's makes herself available anytime you need her. Quiet, which can be mistaken as unfriendly - but you can make her laugh! Cool thing is if you have to take QMBE, it's the same online book.

HANDS DOWN...the one of the best professors at UNO! She is the best when taking this course..I took Shalit prior to her and he was a complete a**hole and couldn't get any better than a D in his class..she makes learning the material SO SIMPLE..thank you Mrs. Crespo!!!

She goes really fast but if you keep up with the homework and do the extra practice problems, you should get a good grade.

Mrs. Crespo is the best teacher ever! Her notes are very clear and helpful! If you go to class, keep up with your homework you'll be sure to get an A. She gives a study guide before each test that has very similar problems as the test. Best math teacher ever!

Crystal clear with information. Very helpful and makes herself available to students. If you don't understand just ask. Tests are exactly what you go over in class. No curve balls. She knows her material and knows how to get it across to the students. Wonderful teacher.

I don't think I could have had a better teacher for this class. She is as clear as she possibly can be and I understood every single on of her lectures, which can be hard for a math class. Yes, it's a lot of work, and you do have to do a lot of practice outside of class, but if you do the homework, I don't see how you couldn't get an A.

She is a wonderful teacher, very organized with the material. No confusing jargon or pretentious attitudes. Take her instead of Shalit or any other stats teacher. She cares about her students and is always ready to help. She is in her office at the hours promised.

Dr. Crespo is a great teacher for Statistics. I am awful at math, but I passed her class with no problem. She writes all the notes on the board and gives hand-outs in class for certain sections. Her tests are easy and she assigns a lot of homework, so you have a lot of cushion for your grade. Dr. Crespo is also great about answering questions.

Her lectures are very easy to understand, and she is able to explain any questions you may have in an understandable way. She makes statistics interesting as hard as that may sound. She gives a study guide before every exam, which is similar to the exam questions. If MATH 2785 is mandatory, TAKE LISA CRESPO!!!

She is hard but fabulous!Do the homework and follow the class lectures and you will do fine. She is very clear in her lectures!!!

Take notes on lecture and be sure to understand concepts. Lectures are clear but when you try the exercises on your own they're pretty difficult if you don't understand the concepts. You might need a tutor or grab a couple of classmates and make a study group. If you can try not to take this class alone, make a friend and compare notes.

Great teacher! Very clear and organized. She will spend time with you if you don't understand. If you give at least 90% of effort youshould pass with an A or B.

Clear, concise, to the point. She works problems on the board and writes everything out. No confusion. No babying. Very helpful.

Course information is to much in a short time. ALMOST everyone is a 2nd time student. She offers help but if you go, she acts annoyed. Move at her speed but dont fall behind.

This woman knows what she's talking about. The class may seem like a lot of material, but she does a good job of breaking it up for the tests. I'm not good at math and I still wound up with an A in this class because of her. If you have to take stats do NOT take anybody else! She is the one to take hand downs.

If you're going to take Elementary Statistics then be sure that you take this teacher. This course can be tough (that is if you don't keep up with material) but her teaching is quite clear and precise and she is quite easy to follow. Make sure you go to class and take notes because that is where the most important info comes from.

She doesn't have much personality.. I would suggest taking her because she provides notes that are very detailed and help a lot. She is very knowledgeable and will help if you have questions. She stresses to do practice problems so do them! If you listen and do the work, you will pass!

Very good teacher. My A didn't just fall on my lap, I earned it. Go to class and do all the homework and practice problems and you should pass.

This professor is amazing! She gives very detailed notes for every lesson and works through many examples. Just as long as you pay attention, do the homework and practice problems, you should do well!

Very clear, tests are a lot more simplified than the study guide. Study the study guide she gives and you will get an A. Gives help when asked. Hardest part of the class is the homework. Go to the class before the test and you are golden.

MAKE SURE YOU DO THE HOMEWORK! She goes over examples in class and her notes are very clear. She does everything step by step so that you can get a better understanding. You HAVE to get the homework done if you want to pass the tests, and the class for that matter. She stresses you must learn more of the material by yourself outside of the class.

Easy grader. Her notes and lecture are VERY clear. Explained steps by steps. Available when needed help. Very organize.

Mrs. Crespo is very helpful and her exams are all the same format. She goes very depthly into what she teaches and accepts any questions after class for clarification. She takes her time going through what we need to know to understand the concept for each exam.

Lisa Crespo is an amazing math professor, I've never felt more confident in a math class. Make sure you pay attention, and practice the problems a lot. If you do that, you should pass with no problem!

You'll have to put a lot of time into this class but if you try you'll be able to pass with her. She dumbs down the info so people can understand, especially on the tests.

Professor Crespo is a very good teacher. She provides all lecture notes and test review material online. She also does plenty of examples throughout class. Her test are very similar to the test review, if you can do the review you can pass the test.

She assigns weekly homework and in order to pass you must do it. She also gives out study guides and goes over any of the questions you need help with in the following class. Overall I really like this professor, I didn't much on the first test and got a C, but the next two test I made an B and then an A.

I recommend her 1000000% for this class. She gives out notes so that you can follow through in class, super easy. I learned a lot. I did everything expected and ended up with an A.

She is a great professor and explains her lectures very well. If you go to class and listen you'll understand and pass. Easy A if you do your homework, tests, and show up! She never misses class by the way.

Crespo is by far the best stats professor I've had. She teaches the first part of business statistics and I wish she taught the second part! She has pre made notes and lots of ex problems just like mystatlab. she clearly goes over everything. I thought stats was an easy course until i got a different prof that taught stats in a difficult way.

Statisticsugh but she makes it super easy to follow along. I'm amazed that I got a B in the class, even though I am terrible at math. It is a lot of formulas, but honestly, she makes it so easy. SHE IS THE ONLY ONE WHO CAN TEACH THIS CLASS. She broke her shoulder at the end of the semester, and they brought in all the other teachersdiasaster.

Amazing professor. Provides everyone with the opportunity to succeed, and does a great job actually teaching the material. If you go to class and follow along in the lecture, you will pass the class easily. Best professor I've had at UNO.

Ms. Crespo is by far the best math teacher. She explains things in such a clear/concise way. I'm never confused or lost, she keeps you engaged. She also helps us to understand the reason behind many concepts so you understand the material vs. just memorizing. class is by no means hard if you pay attention. Probably the best math teacher Ive ever had. You dont need the textbook for class, however you do need an access code for homework. Her notes are very thorough and easy to understand. She offers extra credit opportunities as well. Homework can be reworked as many times as want (so easy A).

Great professor would take her again and recommend her to others. If you don't show up for class you wont pass.

Love this professor. You have to work hard in this class because it can get confusing. Keep up with lectures and mymathlab. Attend review sessions for exams, if you can. She offered extra credit after a couple of the exams. She posted lectures and a weekly "schedule" to follow w/ lectures and homework. Kind of asynchronous. I would recommend

I was worried about being able to do well in a math course online instead of in person but I'm so glad I had professor Crespo, anytime I had a question she always emailed back quickly and gave very clear answers. The pace and structure of the course was very well put together, and her asynchronous lectures were concise and easy to follow.

Never showed up to class, barley did any homework until the last day of class and still got a B. Crespo is great during lectures, and thoroughly and easily explains literally everything in the class. She's always ready to answer ANY question. Lectures can drag on but I promise everything she covers is actually relevant to tests

The best professor I had at UNO. Her lectures are so clear and understanding. Homework are on Pearson as well the tests. If you understand the material you will easily pass with an A.

Her test reviews are amazing and will definitely prepared you for the tests. The test reviews have embedded videos with them and worked out problems. If you practice the problems, you should be fine. She also allowed notes on an index card on tests which was extremely helpful.

Easy lecture to follow

Professor Crespo was great at online classes. It is quite a lot to do, but the tests and homework are similar from the lecture videos she sends. Just be wary that you need to put in tons of time to genuinely understand the work.

she was very helpful and made sure that everyone understood the material. the tests were easy and we were able to bring an index card to help. as well as on the final we were able to bring a sheet of paper. homework was easy and did not take up much time. i would recommend this professor to anyone who has to take statistics.

The lectures are easy to follow, making it simple to understand the material. She was charming and respectful. Questions from the homework are similar to the lecture. Every test includes a bonus question at the end, worth 3 points. I found the test review workout she posted clear and helpful. I highly recommend her for statistics.

She is an excellent teacher, probably one of the best. I definitely recommend her classes.
