Good teacher, exams are easy
awesome teacher, very understanding,
Best teacher I've had at this school
She's awesome!! Very helpful and explains stuff til everyone understands
Makes Dynamics fun. Always able to help students during office hours.
whine about the homework she'll push the due date back or maybe even do it forya

Best Professor, ever!
Sweetest Lady Ever... Best prof I've had at Riddle! Willing to HELP and TEACH
Excellent, concise instruction
Fun teacher, great help.
Great Teaching, makes class fun
She is freakin awsome. I've never learned so much in science before I had her.
An incredible teacher. Very helpful, never too busy to actually teach you! Won't go on until everyone understands. It's not that she's an easy teacher, it's just that she teaches things so well that everything seems easy. I also had her for AE 309.
This was a fun class, and she made sure that everything you do has a point and reason to it.
the nicest teacher i've had at riddle

This woman needs to be cloned so she can teach all ES and AE courses. If you can nab her as a professor....take her, you won't regret it.
Good, helpful teacher
One of the best teachers i have ever had
She has an innocent and reassuring look before an exam, which makes u comfortably feel that the exam is going to be just as sweet as her. Warning: They are a killer. but otherwise, she's an extremely helpful and wonderful professor....and she's cute!
Homework is difficult but she will help you. The exams are difficult, but you can use an equations sheet to write anything you need. Don't wait until the night before to study, or you will fail this class.
The greatest professor I have had. The homework isn't easy, but she is helpful. You can use an equation sheet on the exams because she is testing you on how well you can apply the material rather than how well you can memorize equations
Great Professor. Lectures are useful and understandable. Homework can be tough but it will definetly prepare you for tests. Take her every chance you get.
One of the best teachers at Riddle. But don't ask her about classified work experiance... she might kill you ;-) Too bad she's married though... :-(
Review for the first test is very misleading. Far more difficult than she makes it out to be... after that it's not bad.... she's a good teacher... she shouldn't wear buttoned blouses though... very distracting :(
The clouds of Heaven opened up and Mrs. Davids appeared. She's not easy, but you will learn sooo much. Always helps until you understand what she says. One of the best!!!!
She is the greatest teacher. The fact that she cares about your success in her class, it makes you wonder about the others professors. She wants you to learn and you will; if you want to pass the class.
She really needs to teach the upper level AE courses 'cause these guys SUCK!!! I long for the forgotten days of actually wanting to go to class and learn something.
Great professor, easy to understand and makes class fun.
great teacher. very helpful.
Leanred a lot, hard tests but great teaching style. She needs to stop teaching AE 101 and teach some Aero 1 and 2 classes.
Best teacher at Riddle! Class material was very difficult, but she made it very clear to us. I got an A in the class with an 89.99975%. "Door no. 2" is still recovering from the final though. Take her any chance you get. You will learn the material with her, just dont underestimate her tests.
Awesome teacher. made the class enjoyable and easy to understand. highly recommend taking one of her classes if you can.
Lectures somewhat disorganized on board. Class moves quickly. Very nice, helpful, interested in your success. Homework and test are tough. Suggest acquisition of solutions manual. Recommend her over others.
Everyone says how great she is then I took her. Very disorganized and fast, not helpful when you go for help. Would not take her again
Lisa rocks!
hard class, but she's helpful in office.
Difficult class, but she made it fun...and tried to make it easy. I had to live in her office, but she helped soooo much! If you're willing to work, she'll help you! She's really nice and really understanding. Don't be afraid to ask questions or get help. STUDY LOTS!
Ms. Davids is a really cool teacher. She is really nice and will help you with anything that you ask for. She also tries to make the class fun and less of a chore.

Lisa Davids is a great teacher. She helps with everything you need. I would take her class again any day.
One of the most helpful professors in my freshmen year.
One bad review out of 52, spanning nearly half a decade of teaching. That says it all. Great professor, helpful, knowledgable and sweet. Killer exams though.
She is an excellent teacher. This class is basically group work and she helps each and everyone in the group and in every group do their particular job to the best they can. She is willing to sit down with anyone if they have a problem and go through everything and look for it and correct it. really helpful and nice. Plus she's fun in class
One of the nicest teachers you will ever have. She is kind, but don’t expect her to let you slack. You will work your a** off, but she will help you until the cows come home.
Cool Person, Fun, Great teacher
Very VERY cool teacher, shes so much fun and great to talk to, not only a great teacher, but a great person. Best teacher ive EVER had, deff get her and youll have a fun EGR 101
Awesome, very helpful. she is tough, but still very nice to students
extremly helpful makes class fun. Really knows how to relate to the class. Great sense of humor. kind of hot for a mom
TAKE HER SHE IS AWESOME TEACHER
Davids is a good teacher, although, in my opinion, her teaching methods are not very helpful to visual learners. Her exams are extremely tough, you will learn the material, but don't expect much sleep. She gets easily distracted by dumb questions and students trying to hit on her. She needs to apply her strict rules to classroom behavior.
Simply the best!
Great! Almost all of the grade is based on group projects, so get in groups with people you enjoy working with. She is really helpful with any questions you have on the projects. Doesn't grade reports very strictly.
Fun class, really hands on. Professor Davids really puts forth an effort to making this class interesting and making sure the material sticks. I love her.
She was amazing and I feel like I learned a lot from her class. She does give a decent amount homework but she is available to help you if you're lost.
She was really great for my class, even though I thought she would be annoyed because we were honor's students. Take her class!
Projects are fun, and she does a great job of keeping people entertained. She expects a lot of you, but is always willing to help you if you need it.
I have high standards for my professors. I'm paying $1000/unit to attend this school out of my own pocket, so I expect my professors to be the best. Lisa Davids is one of these professors. She's fantastically helpful in class and during office hours, enthusiastic, and nice. This year she was nominated for best professor, and she deserves it.
Need to use the textbook alot in this class. The teacher is very helpful; However, beware the final! Before taking the final, I had a strong B (86) in the class, but after the final was reduced to a C. The material on the final was not representative of ANYTHING taught previously!!!
Very fun and helpful professor. She made the class fun and I laughed a lot :) It's certainly not an easy class but she's always willing to help!
Amazing. Fun class. More work than what you get credit for, but I enjoyed the projects.
Davids is by far the best professor at Riddle. This class is intimidating at first, but then things start to make sense. A LOT of work - but do it. If you keep up with the homework and go to office hours, you'll be fine when test time comes around. Don't miss class - you'll be lost.
She is awesome
Helpful enough. The work is pretty easy.
Great professor. Very hard grader. Projects are a blast. But very challenging. Really introduces you to all of the engineering disciplines. Take her if you want a good class that you will actually learn something in.
I loved her class! The class was composed of three projects (a satellite, a launch vehicle, and a modified remote-control plane). Most of us came in the class knowing absolutely nothing. The projects were to build teamwork - even when we are absolutely confused by the work. The projects were hard, but it's impossible to get under an A in the class. She was very insightful but did not explain too much as to make students think on their own. Additionally, she is super nice and a happy person!
She's tough n her tests are extremely hard !!!
Fantastic professor. Makes class fun and easily maintained my interest. Grades pretty strict on projects, but is very liberal with extra credit if you go above and beyond (even if its not entirely accurate). Would recommend 100%
She be da bomb
Easy class, tests are easy if you study. HW is meant to be challenging. Lots of extra credit on tests. Lectures are far from boring, which is nice. Very enthusiastic and connects well with students. Highly recommended. If you fail in any of Davids' classes, you really shouldn't be in engineering.
She was so helpful! We had to do a group project worth up to half of our grade. and she understood when people didn't do the work in m group and she gave grades accordingly which was such a relief.
Most overrated professor at Riddle. I read all of the great reviews on here. Sure she is nice, but she doesn't know what she is talking about. I wish I had taken the class with someone else.
Professor Davids is the best professor I've had at Riddle thus far. Her lectures are extremely informative and clear, and she has a lot of interest in knowledge in what she is teaching. The project she gives you is an excellent learning experience and it's a chance to earn loads of extra credit. Her tests aren't too difficult if studied for.
Absolutely the best prof I have had here. She is not easy however in all her courses she offers alot of extra credit and is extremely helpful. I don't have the best grades but I received a solid A. You will come out of the class knowing your material really well.
AWESOME TEACHER! I would defiantly take another course with her. She is always there for you, and is a very understanding person.
Good teacher
Professor Davids is a literal angel. She is an amazing teacher and is extremely helpful with whatever you need. Very clear and knowledgeable on the subject taught. She gives homework every class but also gives lot of extra credit, make sure to do that every time given.
She's the best! Take her every chance you get!!
Professor Lisa Davids is understanding and is always there for you. Do the homework and you should be fine.
Lisa Davids is an amazing professor. She is so kind and willing to help her students. She makes an enjoyable class even more enjoyable. She gives a TON of extra credit, so not only is the class an easy A but you learn a lot and enjoy it too. I HIGHLY recommend her.
Gives a lot of extra credit, but has no idea what she is talking about. If you want an A take her, if you want to learn take someone else.
Professor Davids is a great professor! She is very laid-back and funny. She has little competitions between the students to make the class a little more fun. She is very easy to talk to if you have trouble. However, she does not accept late homework without a good reason. There is a good amount of homework, but it normally doesn't take too long.
She's a very kind and all around great professor. She knows a lot about CATIA so if you ever have a question you can expect her to have an answer. Her homework is time consuming but it's good practice and can really boost your grade. Final project is ridiculously time consuming if you choose the wrong project.
Multiple small tests to even out grading
She is the light in the dark, depressing world of AE majors. Quality of her class also depends on who you get for your group projects. Very Fair. IF you don't read (its not bad) you will struggle a little.
Prof Davids is simply amazing. She cares a lot about her students and does an excellent job in introducing them to the world of engineering, She challenges students with the two large projects, but she is always available to provide assistance. She is very approachable during class and encourages student input often.
Take her class at all costs. Best professor I have ever had.
Took EGR101 and 120. She loves her students and her job, tries to make class fun, and is just a great person. Always ready to answer questions if you have them and gives fantastic feedback on work. Beware, you only get what you put in to the courses, so if you don't ask her for help, you probably won't receive it unless you're doing really badly.
Great teacher. Her notes are clear and concise, and match very closely to what is presented in the HW and exams. The homework can be tedious, but she is available and helpful during office hours. There is a group project, which is really the course capstone. It is a great experience and portfolio material!
Probably your best bet for EGR101, she's great at teaching and very personable.
Shes funny
Sweetest and nicest professor for EGR101
Great teacher, very much aware of her surroundings and her students. The main focus of the class is a two-part calculation, design, and modeling project. Also some introductory engineering content. Fair grader, loves innovation. Tries to make everything easier for us.
Solid choice. Is very fair when grading. If you're taking EGR101 you're most likely taking your first semester. She is a good choice for this class
She's amazing at teaching. 100% qualified to teach 101. Very easily accessible outside of class. There are two big projects in her class and they are both in groups. She's very approachable and always happy to be in class. I liked her so much I was thinking of being a TA for her class just to see her again.
Very accessible for office hours and for questions. She is passionate and clearly wants everyone to succeed. As long as you put in some effort, you will be fine.
I LOVE PROF DAVIDS! This was my favorite class. It's a fantastic introduction to engineering, and is a great indicator as to whether you'll thrive in the field. We did some individual homework and then two larger group projects to practice project management. She is such a funny, kind, caring person. Cannot recommend her enough.
Loved her! Super sweet and a great choice for EGR101. There are two big group projects and she is available every step of the way to help you out. I always looked forward to class with her.
Love her! Great professor
She's a great professor and a just-as-great person. Her class consists of two large group projects - one focusing on designing a multi-stage rocket and the other on designing and building a balsa wood glider. If you have any questions or want to go more in-depth on the material, she will happily help you and reward you for your efforts.
This class is very group project based and homework heavy. The grading is fairly easy and Prof. Davids understands that mostly first year students are taking this class. There are two projects that she assigns. The first, the launch vehicle project, is group dependent and work intensive. The second project is the glider project and is independent.
Definitely the best professor for EGR101 HON. Prof. Davids is all about you learning, rather than sweating to get an A. She will help you with anything and will try her best to make the class enjoyable. If you have an opportunity to be a part of her class - don't miss it!
Professor Lisa Davids is a very kind professor, and I would highly recommend her for EGR101. The course was very engaging, as you got to work on both a launch vehicle project and build your very own glider out of provided materials. The homework provided outside of projects was not difficult, yet it was very applicable and useful for engineers.
Professor David's is a 10/10 professor. Her class is structured to include two main group projects. The Launch Vehicle Project is the first you will work on and is very group work heavy. The second project is the Glider Project and while still in a group, is much more individual work. David's is extremely knowledgeable and ALWAYS willing to help!
Prof. Davids is one of the best starts you could have to your Engineering degree, if you do the work and give your best effort. There are two big group projects, but also plenty of other opportunities for good grades and even extra credit.
Prof. Davids made it easy for students to tackle complicated projects in a methodical manner. course is centered around two projects both challenging, but she is very helpful and wants everyone to succeed. she has taught many upper-level classes, so she is very smart and grades on effort and the content of your work rather than the correct answer.
For EGR 101 Professor Davids was great. She is very nice and really cares. She is accessible outside of class and always makes sure everyone is aware of anything coming up or anytime she won't be in class. There are two major group projects which aren't difficult but take quite a lot of time.
Really great teacher. She explains the projects very well and is always super helpful and understanding.
Wonderful professor! Very caring and a good teacher, always available to help you. Lectures can be a bit dull but its just part of the fundamentals courses. Projects are tough but she makes them as simple and easy as possible, but you need to stay on top of them!! Projects are a big part of your grade but can be aced, just read that rubric!
EGR120 is a hard class. CATIA is a tough thing to learn, but Professor Davids is extremely skilled and experienced, and clearly knows her stuff. It's a high-effort class but if you put in the work your grade should not be an issue. I would recommend going to her office hours, especially if you are struggling on the Activities.
She teaches well, is patient when you ask questions, and is always happy to help during office hours.
Professor Davids is AWESOME. I took her for both 120 and 101, and although you will have to do a lot of work, that's going to be true for any professor you take for this course. Professor Davids is very good at lecturing, she really knows her stuff and is extremely reachable and helpful if you need her during office hours as well. 10/10 fun class.
I had Professor Davids last semester for EGR101 and previously for EGR120. She was wonderful in both and they were by far my favorite classes. EGR101 is heavy on group projects due to the nature of the course, but it was the best group I ever worked with. She provides excellent feedback and really wants students to succeed.
Professor Davids makes EGR101 a great start to your engineering degree. The class has two challenging group projects, but she is super helpful and wants everyone to succeed. Unstuck ai was a game-changer for my project prep!
Had Prof. Davids for both 120 Honors and 101 Honors. She is great with setting up projects and gives clear criteria for what needs to be done. Any time I had questions about assignments she would be happy to answer.
Two main projects that really got students into the engineering process from the get-go. I learned much information that will help me throughout my engineering career. She is very knowledgeable and probably the best in her department.
I had Prof. Davids for EGR 120HON and 101HON. She's a really great professor. She knows her stuff, both knowledge and in industry. She's really nice and she's always happy to answer questions, class-related or not. The two projects we did gave me a good foundation for engineering in the future as well. I would absolutely take her again if I could.
I had Professor Davids for both EGR101HON and EGR120HON, and I cannot recommend her enough for both. She is a wealth of knowledge for other engineering concepts, classes, and professors at the University, and is gifted at explaining concepts, making her grading criteria for projects explicitly clear. Quick to respond to emails and canvas comments.
I completely bombed my first exam, but I went to her officer hours and talked to her about it and she was very kind and gave the entire section an opportunity for bonus. That's only one example of when she was super kind like that, I have quite a few more. Get to know her and you'll be perfectly fine.
Dr Davids is like having a mom as a professor, she is very caring for the progress of her students (only if you stay in contact with her and engage outside of class as well) She provided me with Calipers when I couldn't afford any and I borrowed a Fluid Mechanics textbook from her to read during the breaks. The M&M dispenser is GOATED.
I took Professor Davids for my HON 120 class, and she was amazing! Her lectures were clear, and you work through things with her in class for the best learning. She has a flexible schedule and is always happy to help! This class does have daily work and also a group project, but with proper communication with her, things go well!
She worked well with me and was very understanding
