This teacher is a great. She really helps out her individual students as much as she can, while keeping the entire class engaged!!! As long as you pay attention in class you will get an A!

Wonderful teacher, wonderful class. No other psych teacher makes the subject so easy to understand and enjoy!

She's been wonderful at making sure that everyone has at least the opportunity to pass her class and understand it. Her tests are simply worded and covered well by class. And her packets are very helpful.

Shes is awesome teacher, she is crystal clear in what she wants from her students, makes class interesting by class participation, She is DEFINITELY not boring! i had fun in her class, and i actually learned in her class!!

I took this class onlime and found it to be very interesting. When ever I had anyquestions she would e-mail me and It wouldnt take more than a day to get a responce. Her test were a little difficult but if you read the textbook and do all the outlines you should do fine. She is a fair grader on papers. Would recc.

Lisa was the greatest teacher i've ever had.She's honest, fun, and extremely smart.She believes very strongly in her students.She'll explain something ten different ways until she's sure everybody understands.She wants everybody to pass and helps students with extra credit projects throughout the entire year.I had 3 classes with her and loved all!

Lisa is by far the best teacher I have had at Waubonsee. I worked my next semester classes around her PSY205 class. You can't go wrong if you choose her as a teacher.

Lisa entered the class every day and stired the pot. She would get our class so worked up! Learned a lot and had a lot of fun. Loved her outlines. My husband also had her online class and loved it! So, either way you will learn lots. I would take another class with her again. She is the one that told us about this website. Ask her about her shoes!

Great teacher. Made each session interesting and enjoyable. Provides fill in the blank outlines which serve as study guides for exams--extra credit opporuntities provided as well. Fair amount of work to do but not difficult. Show up to class, do the work and you'll do well.

Great teacher. Very helpful and easy to understand. Book gets used for pretty much outlines early, pay attention in class and you will get a good grade. She very down to earth and very easy to relate to. I would definately take her again and I would highly recommend her to others!

I am sure I have been here before....but LISA IS THE GREATEST TEACHER EVER!!!!! I have taken her for five classes..if she taught more ..I would take more...waiting for the "sexuality" class she keeps referring to (hahahaha) If you get the chance to take her..do...go to class..fill out your outlines and you will pass with flying colors.. The class holds great discussions. The book we used this term was difficult, but Lisa is fantastic. She's more than knowledgeable of the material, and it's clear she loves what she does. Put it this way - this is the ONLY class in m y two years at WCC that I never missed, whether it was for an appt or to skip. :)

Took this class online nothing but helpful always. one of the most understanding online teachers I have had. and never took more than 24 hours to respond. Blackboard is the issue not the teacher the class was great. I would take it again online and recommend anyone else to do so.

Lisa is an amazing instructor. I took a few online classes with her. They were easy to follow and understand. Lisa was so helpful during the class and willing to work with the students. WCC was changing online programs to BlackBoard and there were a few issues with BlackBoard but that has nothing to do with Lisa, her instruction, or her knowledge.

Love her class! I look forward to going to class. Shes awesome. Very helpful, and is super funny. Just make sure you study for her test and do the activities. Class goes by so fast, feels like its only a 30 min class.

I absolutely love Lisa! I thought Hollenbeck was my favorite psych teacher, but after taking her class, I want to take every class with her! I took Child Psychology with her. I actually looked forward to going to class. My honors profect was super easy and I got all the credit for it. I don't want semester to end. TAKE HER CLASS.

Lisa is GREAT there is no other way to take a psych class.she made every topic fun and worth learning. she uses everday examples. makes you laugh. shes very smart. I love her class look forward to it every week. lisa bring psych to life in a way that makes you want to learn and even study her class is a MUST!!!!!!!

She knows her stuff well and makes this course easy to understand and like. However there are two different Lisas. If she is in a good mood, you get one of the best teachers in the school. If she is in a bad mood, sit there and be quiet and hopefully she wont notice you.

To say the least, Lisa is AMAZING!!!!! Not only does she TRULY care about her job, she cares about her students. She always relates the material to everyday life, which makes it that much easier! By far, the BEST teacher I have had in college. I am working next semester's schedule around her class! She's the best! You HAVE to take her class!!!

Lisa gives the requires material to complete the course and passing with flying colors. In class is the most fun you have it not only helps you learn it makes learning fun. If you miss she is understanding and gives the required time to make up the missed activity or assignment I would highly recommend taking her class online and in the classroom.

Great and funny teacher, sadly I did not learn anything because the book was never used. We were in groups the whole time. And she lectured about five minuets a day or sometimes not at all.

Lisa is truly a great teacher. She is good at relating what we're learning about to her own experiences and keeps class interesting. The atmosphere in my class is really great too, she keeps everyone involved. I would definitely take her again.

I took PSY215-Adulthood and Aging online with her, and it's all on you. 4 outlines and a test are due every month. It's a laid back class. No discussion posts. 3 tests total, and one project that isn't hard at all. I would take her again!

Very good teacher. Attendance is mandatory, if you miss you may be dropped but it's understandable. She makes everything very easy to understand with real examples that you can't get out of a textbook and her outlines are great! I would recommend her to anyone.

Do not buy textbook. Her class is easiest ever taken. No presentations, just lecture and tests. No quizzes. Homework was a breeze. She is very entertaining to watch and listen to. She did get boring towards end of year/lost some enthusiasm. Overall, perfect class and easy A.

She also has really funny facial expressions, when you see them you'll know what I'm talking about! If you show up to class and pay attention, there is no reason why you should not get an A. Keep up with assignments. She gives lots of chances for extra credit. Assignments are not busy work and actually help you learn. DO NOT get on her bad side--she sees EVERYTHING. I've never enjoyed a class so much before this one.

Lisa is the best professor I have ever had. She is a hawk , she won't miss a thing so don't try anything ... Expecially texting. She's overall one hell of a professor I learned a lot in her class and hope to take more classes with her.

She can get easily mad when you do not pay attention in class. Don't use your phone she will call you out on it. Examples in class are real life ones. Participation matters. Exams: 4. Tests can be hard and off topic some. She curves the test if more than half get the same question wrong. Study Study Study and that doesn't include last minute either

lisa was amazing, honestly one of the best teacher ever she is very sarcastic so if you cant take sarcasm dont take her. she always kept our class awake she made me cry of how hard i laughed. i love that she always uses real life examples to correlate with lecture.

You do not need to purchase a textbook because she puts all information on power point slides. When I take another psychology class I will try a different teacher.

Loved this class, I took the 3 week advanced class and she made everything known and easy to accomplish in a short amount of time.

All you do is write chapter outlines, take 4 tests, and do MyVirtualChild online and one short 1 page response- super easy. Extra credit is available and there were no due dates the whole time, all at your own pace. Very understanding and responds to messages quickly. Highly recommend!

Liza is an amazing professor. You can really tell she enjoys teaching and knows the material. She cares about students and wants you to succeed. I took her 8 week class and if you show up and do all the work you'll do fine.

I took her psychology class online and LOVED it. It was self paced- no hard due dates at all. She lays everything out in the syllabus on the first day the class opens and you turn in all assignments on black board. The work is time consuming but the class itself isn't too hard.

Great teacher. It is obvious she is passionate about what she teaches. Lots of lectures but she keeps them entertaining so it isn't bad. Only thing I did not like was that you have to purchase a code for a project in her class, basically a pay to pass. All in all she made psych fun and interesting. Would recommend to anyone

Offers lots of extra credit. Used examples and stories in lectures which helped a lot. Also gives points back on test questions that a lot of students miss. Note handouts were not as clear as I would have liked but they were much better than having to take notes. She is very passionate about psychology and makes lectures interesting.

Overall loved going to this class. She connected with us and taught us through her own experiences. You can tell she loves waking up and coming to teach us every class. She is lecture heavy but they are so full of cool stories that relate to the chapter of what we are learning.

She only takes attendance 1 day a week. Gives you "outlines" of the chapter so you don't have to copy down every word she says. She moves around the room lot during lecture, moves her hands and tell stories to help remember for all of her students, good for all different learning types. A ton of extra credit and will relate the information to you.

I took this class online and it was awesome! There are no hard due dates besides on the Virtual Life and the extra credit. She's clear on what she expects and she's a quick grader. The tests aren't tough and there's only 4. You do have to write outlines for every chapter but these are mainly for your benefit. TAKE THIS CLASS!!!

Absolutely loved this class & Professor Fozio-Thielk. Took this class online, she understood that we were taking it online so there were no hard due dates. YOU WILL HAVE TO TRY TO FAIL! Took this class as an honors class, I had this whole class done within a couple weeks. She's very understanding and helps her students, makes sure they understand.

This was by far my favorite class of the semester. Professor Fozio-Thielk is the best teacher I've had at Waubonsee, as she teaches with passion and seems to genuinely care for her students on a personal level. The lectures are full of life lessons and personal stories that keep the class entertained and help us to remember the content better.

Go to every class. Depending on her mood she will have the people who actually showed up do less of the homework assignments. She knows how to keep everyones attention during class & she had us watch a movie instead of doing an actual final.

I love Lisa, I took a majority of my Psychology classes with her. I highly recommend her as she is very easy to talk to but is still a partial hardass. I always enjoy coming to class and she hands out packets for the notes but there is online homework but it isnt too difficult. 10/10

She allowed us to work at our own pace and just opened every single assignment and exam saying they were all due by a certain date. Easy grader. Online quizes are not timed. Doesnt grade very quickly but she always just gave me 4/4 for assignments.

One of the best Ive had in 14 years of schooling. Lisa is truly one who cares for each of her students. Lisa teaches from her PowerPoints, but she makes sure that she applied the information to real-life situations. Always show up to her classesit will prove to be helpful to youespecially during finals week. Tests arent hard, usually a movie.

I highly recommend taking her Psychology 100 online class. I had a great experience, she allows you to work at your own pace and has no hard due dates. She is a very understanding and replies to messages quickly. I wish there were more professor out there just like her!

Dr T is easily one of the best professors I have had at Waubonsee. She fought for in person lectures during the pandemic because she wanted to reach us better, and she definitely did! She involves the class in the lectures and tells stories about her own life and experiences to help us better understand the course. I would definitely recommend her!

There are a lot of assignments, but for most of them there's no strict due date; almost everything is just due on the last day of class. Also, most are small assignments and all meaningful & I really feel like I learned a lot in this class. Her class is great for students who are good at managing time and can create their own due dates.

Lisa is one of the best professors at Waubonsee, easily. She is not one of those teachers that you dread going to class for. She is funny and makes lectures interesting. She gives good feedback and gives homework that is necessary to help for the tests. I 10/10 recommend Lisa for your psychology classes.

I LOVED her class! The QUEST activity game we played in the online class was fun. She gave the whole semester of work upfront to go at your own pace. The content was interesting and engaging and I would take this class again in a heartbeat. As long as you do the work, you get the grade.

Lisa is an awesome professor. She genuinely cares about teaching and is super relatable. She definitely has a knack for psych and is all around a great teacher. She is participation heavy, which as a timid person who doesnt participate alot is a little intimidating. It is graded but is only 10 points for the whole semester so dont worry about it.

Lisa was such a good and loving professor she is also very real. She was such a good teacher that i picked her life span psych class!

Lisa was not terrible by any means, I took the 3 week online course which was dense but expected. A lot of her assignments are not clear enough which often led to confusion. she grades based on total points which is a plus but you have to write 4 2-4 page papers worth only 4 points. I don't know about you but it takes a bit to write those.

If you have a choice to take Dr. Lisa‘s class or another professor, I recommend taking her class. I was in an online course over the summer, and it was so detailed, good detailed,and the papers that I wrote didn't seem like a waste of my time, but rather inspired me and made reflect and really understand the concepts that she was teaching us.

Professor Fozio-Thielk's course is an easy psych elective. Lots of papers, but she's a fair grader. Definitely utilize Unstuck study and the textbook for study help. Attendance is mandatory, but participation is only 10% so don't stress too much.

Best professor I've ever had including my high school days. Gives lots of extra credit and also all of our tests were online. Our final was just a notecard about ways to destress. Also tells a lot of very funny stories in class when she notices people zoning out. As long as you do your assignments you'll be fine. Tests are also open note.

Incredible professor. I am a very shy and anxious student however always felt comfortable and encouraged in her class, the class is easy if you attend classes, pace the assignments, and actually do the work. Even if you are not interested in Child Psych and are just taking the class as another credit, she makes sure you can take something from it.

Dr. T is a truly great professor. I enjoyed and looked forward to attending her class. She is a very fair grader, even though there are a lot of papers. Personally, the papers helped me solidify my understanding of the chapters. The papers were easy, and as long as you showed up and paid attention, that counts as participation. Would recommend!

If you are looking for a clear and relatively easy Psych class, this is it! I took this class at the age of 15 and it was my first class. It's honestly perfect if you're new to college. Dr. T is super funny and flexible with everything. Be warned it is reading and paper heavy, but she's a fair grader and gives lots of extra credit.
