I never had any problems in this class. The instructor makes her points pretty clear, and teaches what is necessary from the textbook. I personally can't see any of the previous complaints. She's very kind and understanding, I wouldn't mind any of the negative complaints from the people that couldn't handle the course.

She was very nice. Not sure why the other people have such negative complaints. You do have to study in order to pass the exams but her grading was very fair. If you were not happy with your grade she allowed you opporunities for extra credit and "re-do(s)."

Awesome teacher. She's always willing to work with you if you have any questions/concerns. Does not really use the book much in class, but does recommend you read chapters prior to attending. Reviews are great and really helpful. Took her for an evening class and she kept the class moving the whole time. Would recommend her to anyone.

I've not had a problem with this class or the teacher. She's very helpful and I have no doubt that she knows the material. She's more than fair with grading and gives plenty of opportunities for extra credit and to improve your grade. I have no interest in political science but I've enjoyed this class and would reccommend this teacher to others.

Teacher is very good and you can tell she loves her job and the subject. But the test was very hard and we were not prepared. Shes good at being "real" and relating historical government to current.

So like..... I never pay attention in the class but from what I have "observed" she does a really good lecture and she knows what she is teaching. The tests are very easy and consistent on what she teaches however while I was in the class she could barely understand me and I speak English

She is an excellent professor. The whole class based in historic events, of course, as well as laws and rights; however, she makes the class simple and very well understanding. The book explain the class, but she breaks down the concepts very well. She is easy to understand; however be prepare for reading the material is long.

prof. marmorato makes am. gov easy to understand because she gives real life models and examples. she also clarifies anything for you, if you ask her to. The textbook is really boring, hard to follow, and drags on about a subject but other than that, I suggest taking her class...for the most part it's easy.

Prof Marmorato's class is easy. No real HW or CW aside from the occasional quiz at the beginning of class. Read the chapters at home, do the two reports, and do good on the mid term and final. That's it.

A lot of teachers at PBSC are not very friendly, but she is really nice and qualified. She is funny and makes the long lectures not so boring. If you do the work and study for the quizzes you will pass. Shes not a trickster.

Prof. Marmorato is an excellent professor. She is extremely helpful and uses power-points to help students better understand the lessons. Additionally, she offers extra credit that is educational but easy. I took her for both POS 1001 and POS 1041 and it was a pleasure to have her as a professor. Also, she is great with communication via email.

She is an awesome teacher, I took this class before and i failed it completely. Taking the class a second time with her I had no problems any questions I had she answered them as wells as clarified them. I had her hybrid class and she was on top of it with the emails if you needed anything. I would recommend her 100%!!

The class is easy to follow along with, however, be sure to check blackboard and your email daily. The lectures can be confusing at times but she offers all powerpoints on blackboard and is great about stopping to clarify a topic when asked.

This class was EXTREMELY easy the professor was the best. Shes pretty young so she always has a good time and is pretty laid back. There is only 2 test (Midterm & Final) there both take home and she is really nice on extending the 2 papers you have to do. Then theres only one presentation on a president and thats it. Plenty extra credit too!

Pretty decent class. Not as clear as I imagined. A ramble of politics, government structure, and random history. Not entirely a science or logical. Decent instructor, very friendly and helpful. Relatively easy B grade. Online discussions required every week, and two 4 page papers.

She was such a fun teacher! I walked in the class with little interest in government and walked out knowing what our amendments meant and understood mostly all of what made America what it is today. Take her class you will not be disappointed.

The class was informative. She is very knowledgeable in this course which helps when you don't understand anything. There's two 3-4 page papers, and a midterm and final (take home). Amazing class, Professor Lisa knows the subject very well. She doesn’t waste time in class. She goes immediately to the power point, answers your questions and let you go home. Midterm is a take home. 2 essays, and once week Blackboard homework to do. But is super easy and you get class participation for it. Take this class you won’t regret.

Take this class! Interesting & easy class. Two papers are assigned with a midterm & a final. As long as you go to class & submit the papers/ midterm/final there is no reason to fail. Many extra credit opportunities are given and the class is awesome. id suggest printing the powerpoint slides before going to class so you can take notes on the side.

This was an online plus once a week in-person class. Marmorato is nice, lets class out early each week. There are only two papers plus a midterm and a final. She does have a lot of extra credit though.The in-class portion is all powerpoints, but she goes in depth and knows what she's talking about. The online portion is all discussions.

Professor M is very helpful,nice, and funny. Her PowerPoints were very good. Great for studying. This class was very interesting. Definitely take Professor M!

Professor Marmorato was an excellent instructor. I learned a lot within the six week period. Also,the professor is very helpful, and genuinely wants you to do well, would recommend this class to anyone who needs to complete this course! I also have to say she was very prepared and knowledgeable.

It an interesting class, few assignments but you have to really do it in order to pass. She is a nice, funny, helpful teacher she gives a lot of extra credit opportunity if you need it. You don't really need a book for the class unless you want to read more . I was happy with my grade got an A in the class.:)

She gives alot of online work. as long as you stay on top of the blackboard, you're golden!

By far one of the easiest classes I have taken, work load is not that much and she is pretty laid back.
