Very fun class! A lot of fun activities and is never boring! I Highly recomend this class to anyone!

Lisa is by far the best english professor I've ever had. She genuinely cares for her students and their academic career. Unlike most teachers, she actually participates in the class discussions and gives in her input as well. She does give out a lot of reading and several papers, but she's an easy grader & an all around favored professor.

She's a great teacher, very helpful, fair, and knowledgeable.

Very fun class, laid back, relaxed. All readings and articles come from the 1 textbook that is required. 1 research paper is manditory to pass as well as a presentation about a topic from the book. And shes hot.

Shes a very smart & helpful teacher who WANTS u to succeed. The text used (Rereading America 7th ed) was very interesting & theres lots of discussions that add to the ideas in the book & help IMMENSELY w/essay writing. As long as u do the required work, shes there to help u pass. I HIGHLY recommend her Eng 101 class if you?re not a confident writer

Had her for English, honors. Easy teacher. Bright, understanding, compassionate, and highly intelligent. She'll always answer questions, and gives a lot of INTERESTING things to write about, and gives the students a lot of creative domain. Also she is so gorgeous, and sweet.

Writing is not my thing, but her class lectures and activities are amazing.. I love how she let everyone voice out their opinion, and she is very intellectual. I mean SHE KNOWS HER STUFF!!!! very beautiful and smiles a lot! sorry guys shes married! so Take her class... very good teacher!

Teacher is passionate about what she teaches. She is really helpful. Have to read every night, and you are always working on a paper. Great teacher though, makes class fun. She takes attendance and it counts for your grade.

Yes, Prof. Munoz is strikingly beautiful, but it is the depth of her beauty that truly shines. She is very energetic, and keeps the class engaged by encouraging students to share their experiences, while also sharing her own. Papers will be written, and the 3 in-class essays are dreadful, but the midterm comprehension test is cake. Recommended!

You'll probably end up liking Munoz even if she fails you (w/c I believe she rarely does to students). First of all, she's hot, and guess what she's extremely kind too. Best of all she's very intelligent and she's a very skilled teacher. Her teaching style invigorates the class. No matter how hard the material is, listen to her & you'll be fine.

I have always had difficulty in English and I honestly hated it before I took this class. Prof. Munoz makes you work hard but she is also very helpful. She listens to everyone who has something to say, she is incredibly intelligent, and she is a sweetheart. One of the best teacher I have had in my Community college classes!

She is very nice, patient and helpful. DO all the readings and take notes about them. Also, do the essays, do not get behind because it all adds up, you have to keep up with this class if you want to pass it. Professor Munuz will be available for questions/comments.

Professor Munoz will make you work hard, but she also makes the class fun and picks interesting and educational readings. She wants you to learn how to think and she'll help you as much as she can. She's also young and pretty, which is a little distracting. But she's so professional and organized, that she keeps the class focused and respectful.

I had her for english 105 and she is very nice and understanding. You will never get out early in her class though so don't expect that. She's very nice and organized and timely with giving back work. Not too much homework but shes a hard essay grader. her grading system is a bit unfair too.

She's a teacher and really knows what she's doing. Tough grader, hard to get an A on the essays. A lot of homework at first, but it's all worth it. Definitely learned a lot. She's amazing! Take her class!

This class is a very challenging class. Don't expect to do minimal work and expect an 'A'. She sets the bar pretty high for students. Despite being a challenging class, I really enjoyed taking this class. I've become a better writer and a better critical reader/thinker. Helpful, passionate, challenging, and insightful professor! Eng 205 is a lot of work and rightly so b/c it's a writing class. Prof Munoz set the bar kinda high in this class and that's the way it should be. The amount of work could be challenging but it's a really enjoyable class. The professor is very knowledgeable and extremely helpful. You get your papers back right away as well.

homework extremely strenuous thank god she dosnt read what we write she just checks to see if we did it. aqward group assignments also kind of a feminist but also a total cutie. i enjoy watching her teach

This was my first college class after an 8 year hiatus after high school so I was a bit nervous, but I came out of her class with confidence in my writing skills as well as my ability to articulate and convey my thoughts - which has become an invaluable asset in my college career. Work for it, and you will receive an A.

She is one of the favorite professors i have had in my college career so far. She improved my writing with rewrites available for everything. She has a great reading schedule and discussions in class. I was never bored and she always held my attention. Also, just as a person she is amazing and has a deep history. Take her, you will not regret it.

English 205 can be a tough class for people who do not like writing essays and reading every week, but Professor Munoz will help you become a better writer and reader. She can be a tough grader, but she is being honest and writes helpful comments. She gives you a chance to improve your grade with revisions and some extra credit.

Professor Munoz makes you work for your grade. Her assignments are easy, you are really just giving your opinion of the topics. Lots of group discussion and dialog. Peer reviewed essay drafts, do leave feedback and criticize others work. This is not a hi-5 bro, you did awesome moment. Help your classmates by telling them how to improve their work!

I had doubts at first in taking an online English class, yet it became clear early on that this professor was very passionate about what she teaches. She gets students involved, gives excellent feedback, allows students to showcase their strengths, gets everyone involved in course curriculum, and gives a fair grade. She is an excellent instructor.

Extremely helpful and friendly. Responds to student quickly. Great online class. Fair grader so do not expect an easy 'A' but you can put in a little work and get one no problem. Offers a few extra credit opportunities. Would take another one of her classes!

Professor Munoz is probably the best I had so far. She is clear cut on her expectations and the work she assigned was never too over welming. Sometimes she even cut assignment because she felt she was over welming us. Very helpful and easy to pass as long as you just do the work. I have even decided to take her for 101!

Greatest English Professor to take for English 101. She is very dedicated to what she does. It's not an Easy A in that class, but if you put in work, then it is a hard earned A. She has given great feedback and everything. I Recommend anyone to take her for 101. Also... HOT. And Pretty. Dang.

One of the best professors ive ever had. She asked for a lot of papers and the class wasnt easy but it wasn't hard either. It was time consuming but hey its an English class! Her feedback to me was very detailed (I took it online) but you can tell she actually read your papers because her feedback is very detailed. Lot of respect for this teacher!

Absolutely a great professor! You can really hear her interest on many of the social topics we discussed in class. There was never a dull moment in the class. Textbook is very important in the class and she assigns a reading every class, but don't worry! Discussions are worth it! Would definitely take again.

6 essay, 2 to 4 pages max on all of them, all for your portfolio, hard grader, but over a good teacher, gets back to you by email really fast and is willing to help you, this class will help you became a better writer if you read the book and turn in all essay, homework every week, but does not take long.

AMAZING teacher! My whole life I have struggled to get an A in an English class but this was my first time thriving in one! She is also very encouraging and leaves messages on every bit of work. There are a few essays but it is an English class. If you get overwhelmed, she is very helpful and supportive! Highly, highly reccomend! I love her!!

I took her accelerated course (8 weeks) and even taking a difficult class like that, she made things fun/creative. You do need to read and write a couple timed essays, as well as other longer essays. She grades quickly and gives great feedback. She even lets the class decide what's on the final (if it's timed, content, etc.) Such a great teacher!!

She's an amazing teacher. Focuses class off of book about philosopher/writers. be ready to do essays as well as ongoing presentation one must do sometime throughout course assigned day one. a lot of critical thinking. if you love analyzing and diving into these writers' work, you'll love this class. Prof. Munoz is one of the sweetest people Ive ever met. She really cares about what shes teaching. There are 10 point reading responses every class on assigned reading, 2 in class essays, and about 5 papers. She gives great feedback and allows you to resubmit papers after making corrections. Lectures are interesting and interactive.

Took her 101 and 205 class. 101 was very easy I got an A without reading anything in the textbook. Her 205 class was not as easy, you really have to work for your grade. She is a tough essay grader but lets you revise every essay for an extra 5 points. I would recommend her as she is sweet and really cares about the students.

She is one of the most fun professors on campus. She gives extra credit for participation and links the material to modern media. She encourages group work as a revision team or talk about topics. I took her for 101 and 205 and I wish I could take her again.

One of the best English professors I've ever had. There are a lot of in-class activities, she is a passionate professor that focuses on issues around the world. Encourages her students to explore new subjects and expand their open-mindedness. A few papers, but gives you the opportunity to correct them. The class is very open to anyone's input.

Prof Muñoz really does care about her students but the work load is A LOT! We had to write 7 essays. Lots of readings and assignments. Writing and prepping for multiple essays at the same, 2 presentations. Gives opportunity to rewrite essays but is still a lot of work. Lots of writing but will always help and work with students. Essay due almost every week. She is really helpful though. She is ready to help you if you need it!

The class is broken into several chapters about American Myths. You will write a 3-5 page essay every week and she probably won't remember your name. Excess amount of time to discuss the prior nights homework>Pop culture lecture> New chapter lecture> Class discussion. This was an enjoyable class with lots of stressful work.

I took her Online English 101 we wrote a lot of essays and its important that you participate in the discussion board. She gives a lot of readings to help you develop your essay and she does zoom meetings too. Shes a good teacher but gives a lot of work so if you have 2 jobs like me I wouldnt consider taking her class.

I really loved taking Prof Muñoz. You definitely have to work for your grade and there's a lot of work but it was nothing I didn't enjoy doing. I'm super picky with teachers and I loved her class. It's hard if you're not constantly turning in assignment on time so be responsible! But she always accepted my work even if it was late. 5/5 TEACHER.

I really loved this professor. She made things interesting and personal in a way that captured my attention. There were a lot of essays but in my opinion, it was easy to get an A as long as you read the rubric. She made the class fun and I looked forward to showing up each week.

I took this class fully online with no set meeting times. There's 5 major essays (1-2 are timed), 2 readings/student-led discussions every week, and 3 extra credit opportunities. She allowed us to resubmit 2 of the major essays with revisions for a higher grade. Cheapest textbook I've ever bought (less than $20), and the material was interesting.

I randomly chose Professor Munoz and Im so glad I did! I am a strong writer but like to be pushed out of my comfort zone and she did just that. She expects a lot from essays but provides so much help that will get you an A if you take it. She is extremely helpful, understanding and willing to work with you. I have grown a lot as a writer with her!

Be prepared for a lot of readings, papers to write and submit each week. It was a bit stressful if you are not a good reader though. But in return, Professor Liza E. Munoz is very caring and understanding if you explain your situation and the reason for your late work submission. She also provides good feedback so you can re-adjust your work.

Professor Munoz was easily the best English teacher I've ever had. As long as you communicate with her if you ever have any trouble, she will help. She's incredibly understanding. Her lectures were interactive in the best ways. She plays the best music in the lectures and prompts great discussions during class.

Professor Munoz gives feedback on every assignment and is quick to respond to emails. Seems to truly care about her students. There was 3 essays (one mini essay) and then no final exam but a final project instead.

She's an amazing professor! She is a fair grader. If you follow the instructions provided, you will do well on the paper. If you need more help, she is available and will give feedback before and after you submit the assignment. She clearly cares about all of her students. I had her for the first time for ENGL 205. She's very kind and seems to really care about her students. Very easy to talk to and more than happy to answer any questions or talking about your ideas for essays.

She's a really understanding and nice teacher. I enjoyed the class discussions even when we talked about topics that are usually hard to talk about. I don't usually enjoy english classes, but she was the 2nd teacher that I actually enjoy.

Tons of reading! But she is so kind and understanding. Very clearly passionate about her job and student's learning. She is a tough grader, but if you put in the work and ask questions you CAN get an A. Take advantage of extra credit - it boosts up your grade by quite a bit.

Professor Munoz is an excellent Eglish teach took the time to do one on ones with me to make sure I got the help I needed to proficiently pass her class. She mixed it up with some older topics and newer topics to write on to keep students engaged. I would definitely recommend her to anyone having to take English 101.

I had Professor Munoz for her online 205 English class. There were 3 essays written as well as a presentation as our final. The work was the right level of challenge to expand upon just your typical book readings. Professor connects our lessons to many modern-day topics which make the learning process so relevant. I highly recommend!

Very nice and kind professor. Care about students, and provides extra credits opportunities. Not very easy, but as long as you are attending every class, you will pass easily. Love her outfits. She's passionated for teaching, and always suggests people to join the events and be part of the community.

There were very few assignments requiring any more than an hour to complete. The few essays assigned have clear criteria and rewrites are available to earn up to 10% back. Before most classes there is required reading and the following class is spent discussing it. I can't encourage people enough to participate in order to meaningfully learn.
