Although this was a hard class, Lia Pierce was a good teacher. She is always willing to help any students especially before the tests. She knows this class is hard and gives bonus. As long as you try and come to class you will pass.

Ms. Pierce is honestly the best teacher I've had in college. I've never had a professor want to see me succeed as much as Ms. Pierce. She stays up late helping students before tests going through problems and answering any and all questions we might have. I can't give her enough praise in 140 characters!! She is the best.

This is a test heavy class. She is very helpful outside of class. I was failing and the TONS of extra credit she gives boasts your grade tremendously. Do all your homework's and go to class and their is an easy 200 points. Final replaces lowest test grade as well.

DO NOT TAKE THE ONLINE CLASS!! I took the online class and it was awful. The in class is a breeze. Only once a week and all we did was our projects that were due that week. Some technical issues but you really cant blame that on her. Don't start projects the day they're due. Very helpful & she stays after during some of the more difficult parts.

I had her for WCOB and ISYS1123 - sweet lady. I have never had a problem with her because I get my work done in a timely manner and she loves that. She has a schedule that she sticks to but you honestly have more than enough time to complete the assignments.

Very sweet and engaging teacher. Mrs. Pierce is very helpful and listens to her students when they have input or have questions. She will tell you like it is and is a realist when it comes to getting work done. She cares for her students and wants everyone to succeed but you have to put forth the effort on your end. Mrs. Pierce is a great teacher! I have her for WCOB 1111 & ISYS 1123. She is super straight forward and fun. The thing that can mess with people is she does not deal with any kind of disrespect. If you respect her, she will do the same for you! She does a lot of class discussions and makes the class super fun and easy! Absolutely take Mrs. Pierce!

Great professor. Had class once a week. if you go for the hour of allotted time you get your work done for the week! She's super nice and easy to talk to! Very knowledgable as well!

This class has been by far one of the easiest As I have received. It is very straight forward and if you took CBA in high school you should be more than prepared. If not, you will still do great.

Professor Pierce will always answer questions right away and is always accessible. Made it even better having her as a FBC teacher in cause of any confusion with ISYS. There are always reminders sent out before test and assignment due dates.

She is an amazing teacher and is really helpful. This is an online computer class where you are learning about Microsoft Office. The content is well laid out and there are tutoring opportunities to receive help in the projects. Every week there is extra credit. Overall, an easy A class if you participate and use the resources given.

Not only does she teach the computer class, ISYS 1123/1120, but she teaches FBC. She keeps class short and to the point. Never expects anything hard from you and makes assignments easy to be done in one sitting. She loves to connect with her students and really only asks you to be there for 30 minutes then the rest of the class time is yours.

This class is an easy A. Don't do the practices for the modules for the assignments, use those only to study for the tests. Do the extra credit and you'll not have to worry about this class at all.

This class was an easy A. Ms. Pierce had all the topics and homework clearly stated and she also managed COVID-19 changes smoothly. Homework and tests are all easy. It is an easy A.

Lisa is an amazing professor. She cares about her students and she makes sure that everyone gets their questions answered. If you care, she will care. She's done a great job transferring online due to COVID. Highly recommend taking her!

This class in general is just not enjoyable (but Pierce can't help that). She is very helpful if you have questions or don't understand something; but I found myself putting off doing the assignments just because I didn't like that class. You just have assignments due on Fridays, and an exam about every month; just not a very interesting class.

Professor Pierce has been a great professor. She gives weekly projects but always extends the deadline if you can't figure it out. The class material isn't the easiest to figure out, but Mrs Pierce is always there to help you out. One time I had a question about a project and she called me to help me through the problem. Highly recommend her!

This course was not my favorite subject material, however, I am glad I had Lisa Pierce for this course. Its self paced but she is easy to reach via email despite having over 1000 students in her course. Theres also online tutoring that she makes available. She gives so much extra credit, I failed all three tests but still got an A.

ISYS is completely online. There are no lectures but the prof. responds to emails fast. I recommend going to the tutoring lab (tutors are nice and helpful) every week and completing the assignment for the week. The 2 tests are just like the SAM modules used to teach the content and there is a bonus test & assignment and extra credit available.

Pierce cares about her students and wants everyone to succeed. Even though this class is not the most fun to learn if you put in the work it is very possible to get an A. Always responded to emails quickly and answered any questions that I had.

BEST PROFESSOR. This class is all about how to use tech- excel. Classes- once a week and you can start and finish the assignment within the class time. She helps out as much as you need and offers easy extra credit just by showing up. Recommend taking in person not online and try to take the class early in the week since assignments are due Friday.

I would have done horribly in ISYS if not for Lisa Pierce. I haven't had a professor so eager to teach me in my life. She's caring, funny, loves to answer questions, and overall great. I HIGHLY recommend taking this class in person. There is extra credit points for going and doing the assignments and you actually get taught the material.

LOVE HER! Super helpful and walks you through the weekly assignment. TAKE HER IN PERSON it makes it so much easier and less stressful!! Course work is not the easiest but she will get you through it as long as you show up. Once a week class- take earlier in the week because assignments due Friday. Only 2 exams - 3rd optional- practice work to study

I took Lisa's class over the summer online and she was one of the best teachers I have ever had! She is always willing to help you no matter what. The content was difficult, but she gives you so many materials to help you do well! The assignments are harder than the tests. I highly recommend Lisa Pierce for ISYS!!!!

This class is online so you are expected to complete the assignments on your own time, but Mrs Pierce has hours scheduled during the week to get help. Overall, she was great. Offered a lot of extra credit. The tests are also very similar to the materials provided to study.

Very easy course but I wish there was a little more guidance. She is really good about helping you and answering your questions

If you are not tech savvy do not take it online. I'm very familiar with the programs that ISYS uses but if you struggle with technology I recommend taking the half in person and half online class. Also set a reminder for weekly assignments because if you miss one assignment your grade will look ugly the whole semester until bonus is added later.

I've never had to interact with her, but her blackboard posts for the class have always been understandable and there's a lot of extra credit. If you do the work the class/exams are super easy

She is really nice and helpful; she posts a ton of helpful office hours, hints & links to help do assignments. Work can be time consuming and some assignments are harder than others but easy A's to help buffer grade. The tests can be hard if you don't look over the training modules but they're not bad. She gives a ton of extra credit.

This class was very easy. The projects can be frustrating and time consuming, but there are plenty of opportunities to seek help, as well as LOTS of extra credit. Do each practice module once and write down the ones you missed to go back and do again. If you do this you will get an A on every exam. It is a good class and I genuinely learned a lot.

Lisa was always posting updates and hints on Blackboard. The class itself is super easy and very educational. There are multiple extra credit opportunities, as well as a retake opportunity. Do the practice modules and you will have no issues on the tests. I would recommend!

You don't really interact with her at all because the class is asynchronous. There are plenty of opportunities to go in person to get help, though. She also provided many extra credit opportunities. I like this class and found it helpful.

Don't listen to people who say this class is hard, it's super light, all you have to do is just look up a youtube video of the modules and it shows you exactly how to do it. Then you take your exams and you either wing it or practice with the trainings and you should get an A.

It is a completely online course, so I never interacted with the professor. The content and assignments are very easy if you apply yourself and take the time to learn it. She gives a ton of bonus opportunities, so there is no reason to not pass the class with a high grade.

Since this is an online class I didntt interact with her very often but when I did she always helped with what I needed.The class is super easy if you try to do the assignments and the tests are easy if you do the practice tests and the optional assignments.If you look up the answers to the assignments the class will be hard but if you try its easy

The projects are lowkey difficult but the SAMPATH is easy and you can look up most projects on youtube. You need to study for exams in order to do well. She gives many 10 point bonus opportunities as well.

SO EASY! The only reason I got this grade is because I got lazy and didn't finish a few of the assignments on time. Everything is online, and with extra credit. The second exam was a little confusing but the rest are so easy. Just make sure you turn in the two assignments due each week on time and you'll be just fine.

This class and this professor are super easy, just don't wait until the last minute to do your work and you'll be okay. If you have a MacBook you're gonna have a rough time because everything is done through windows. There are tons of bonus points to help bring your grade up so make sure you do as many as you can.

This class was online so getting help was difficult because so many other students needed help as well. I really just had to figure it out on my own and I did fine. Takes a little to get the hang of but it became easier and easier. She provides a lot of extra credit opportunities so there is no reason anyone should fail

Take her! There is a module and project that's due every week. It's easy just sort of time consuming sometimes so just be aware of that. The only way you fail this class is because you didn't turn things in. She has a lot of extra credit also. When I needed to get in contact with her she was fast to respond to my email.

Very easy to pass this class with a high A. Teacher was never really present but the modules online are very easy to understand. I can definitely understand why many do not like her though as the class features very little of her trying to help you to understand the content.

Super easy course. Ended with well over a 100. Do the work and find resources online to help. Test are exactly like homework projects. Offers practice tests. So many extra credit opportunities that can add a huge push to your grade. Easy!

Easiest class I took this semester by far! Homework is just like tests so it's very easy to prepare for them. Also lots of extra credit opportunities which are extremely easy and boost your grade by a lot. 1000% recommend taking her course.

This is the easiest class you can take. The tests are exactly like the practice exams and you just have 2 weekly assignments. There is no final.

Completely online, two assignments a week due Friday night, with retries available to get the score you want. Only 3 tests which were just like the practice exams and lots of extra credit opportunities.

The majority of the class is figuring things out on your own but when I was stuck she always responded to my emails within minutes and gave me extra attempts to fix my mistakes. There are sooo many extra credit opportunities and only 3 easy exams along with the 2 weekly assignments. Just complete the weekly assignments and you'll be fine for exams.

You have to keep up with the work, there isn't anyone that will do it for you. If you can, the class is very easy, will multiple re-tries on everything except test. Loads of practice material is provided for test, and the class really should be an easy A, if you stay on track with the weekly assignments.

Ms. Pierce's class is really easy to understand from the very start. The material she gives out on Cengage isn't difficult, just make sure to keep up with it. Furthermore, she is really open in her communication about upcoming due dates, weekly assignments, exam prep, etc. She gives out some extra credit points & is really helpful through email!

ISYS is the easiest class you will ever take. It seriously takes effort to get anything below an A. I'm serious. As long as you stay on top of all the weekly assignments, you can do awful on the only REAL exam in the class and still get an A. I never interacted with Lisa or went to any help sessions, and still did great in the class.

Great teacher, she sends out a BUNCH of emails. Most of it might not be applicable, but it lets you know so good tips especially if you have a Mac and want some extra credit. This class is really self-taught since it's excel, but she pretty good for what she can do.

The instructor is very easily accessible for an online course, and overall, very sweet and knowledgeable.
