The easiest A you can ever have!!!!!!!!! This class was a breeze..just show up everyday and you are almost guaranteed an A.

Her class is easy if you do the reading and participate in her class activities. If you don't do the work which is easy and you don't do the readind you will struggle. But overall it is a fun class and i would know i have taken 3 different classes with her.

This class was SO interesting. Her quizzes and tests are hard, but just read and get her practice quizzes off of her website and do them, and you'll get an A for sure. She is also a very nice lady!

well, I'm not a big fan of Soc took this class last semester 2005 fall in Wo Campus. Class only meets once a week I didn't pay that much attention in class.. Her first quiz was easy as pie, but then she will increase the level of difficulty in a slowly paced. Like everyone said read the Book and study her practice quiz and you'll be fine.

She is pretty easy. Just do her practice quizzes and you'll do fine. Showing up for class helps too. She is very nice. Take her if you want to do well.

Professor Riggleman's class was very interesting and she is very helpful and know's what seh is talking about. Take her class at nova.

Make sure to know what is on her website, and you will get an A. Practice tests are the key for this class.

this lady is the easiest teacher ever! if a student reads the key term at the end of each chapter and makes sure to check her website he/she will gurantee and easy A. HOWEVER, she is strict on attendance

Easy course. Pay attention to the lecture and you'll barely need the text. Contrary to the other ratings, she is a very nice lady. She is very sarcastic, so she may come off as rude if you act like an idiot.

Best teacher ever!!!!!! Makes funny faces....tells funny stories....and completes chapters in that sort of way ....the best teacher ever and am going to take her again.....she is amazing.....TAKE HER CLASS!!!!!! If i could i would take her every time i needed to take some type of Sociology class.... :)

Just like everyone said, you want an easy A? This class'll do it. It's simple, make sure you know the key terms, check her website for the sample tests because they are the same questions. Attend each class and there you have it. Her class isn't so much boring, you do learn a lot and she's humorous but sometimes she does get a bit carried away.

Easy Easy Easy! Very obvious subject matter. The exams and quizzes are right out of the book's chapter reviews all you have to do is memorize the answers (no reading required). I slept during class and half-assed the research paper and still got an A.

EASY EASY EASY! SUPER NICE AND FUNNY! A very understanding and kind women. Her assignments are fun and easy! I really really recommend her for sociology. Attendance is mandatory but class is fun and great discussions. Easy A!!! Take her!!

I enjoyed her class very much. Very funny.If you follow her lecture, and do her website and the text website queezes you will be very fine. Take this professor. Fun yet to the point.

If you want to take Soc 201, you should definietely take it with this professor. She is very funny, she lets you out early almost everyday. You watch funny videos on the internet. To get an A in her class just turn in the work (Online quizzes) which are very easy. The quizzes and exams are right from the online quizzes.

Very Fun teacher. Loves to teach, and joke. We only had to have 500 points to get an A. This class was easy, I got 600 pts. If you just study off your chapter reviews in the book, you'll make an A.

She was the most amazing teacher ever! By far my fave and if I could then I would keep taking her class over and over again. =]

Being to class on time + doing online quizzes = A Her quizzes come directly from the quizzes she has posted online.. Her exams come directly from her quizzes also.. Literaly.. Take her ..U wont regret it .. it's weird

gives a lot of busy work. easy to get an A but a lot of work to get it. its a BS class.. she talks none stop, and gets off topic a lot. as long as you do the assignments you'll pass book really not needed.

shes so nice and straight forward. a lot of pop quizzes to make sure you read. its an easy A though. she knows her stuff and doesn't take crap. Very good teacher overall. highly recommended. I would take her again and I dont like to study!

Ridiculous. Don't bother taking notes because her lectures are crap- not structured, just chit-chats about sex, ethnicity and crime. Just read the chapter summaries and study the online practice quizzes and you should get an A on all exams. Pop quizzes are extra credit so take advantage.

She is a really good teacher. She is very loquacious,and tries her very best to explain everything.The good thing is she does not give out a whole lot of assignments.All you have to do is to study and complete the online quizzes.You should also study the quizzes from her website.They can be really helpful.

I really enjoyed her class. The book that she uses was very interresting too. I will take her again.

very very nice proffesor, she sets up the class for the students to pass. she makes the lecture part very interesting and evey time u show up to class she gives u 1.5 point added to your grade. don't get me wrong u gotta put in the effort to get a good grade.

LOVE this professor. She makes sociology fun. Crystal clear on everything. Exams and quizzes are a piece of cake. Few pop quizzes and 2 fun activities. She's a great teacher who loves her job and shows it very well. I reccommend her to anyone even if you dont like sociology.

I took her class about a year ago, and I must say I love her way of teaching. She keeps the whole class interested, she does do power points. No need to take notes, just show up for class and make sure you do the practice quizzes on her website. The practice quizzes are almost word for word on the exams. EASY A.

SHE is nice and funny. the class couldnt get any easier. I didnt hav to take the final because I had enough points. tests were based right off of the textbook but she makes the lecture interesting by talking about the real society we live in

GreatProfessor. Knows her stuff and makes the class fun and interesting. Time goes by like that. Make sure you do all her assignments. She goes over everything you need and easy to contact by phone or email if you have and issue. Pick her and do her assignments and you will get a good grade.

I loved Professor Riggleman. She is very helpful, polite and funny. I think we only had about 5 assignments to complete the whole semester. The only con is that she has PowerPoint slides to last a lifetime which can get pretty boring but she's a really good teacher. (:

I love Professor Riggleman. I took an 8 week Soc-201 class with her and absolutely loved it! She's very entertaining (which makes you enjoy attending class). She's practical and uses everyday explanations for the "terms". Her tests are easy as long as you study the main concepts. She's a great teacher who keeps her class motivated.

She's a fun teacher and I like the class. Her class is alot of work, but easy A. Take this class at NOVA!

Mrs Riggleman is a wonderful teacher. Makes you think outside the box of normal text book readings. You know all along what your grade is going to be, she uses a point count system and gives plenty of chances to earn extra credit, you really have to not pay attention to fail her class.

Awsome teacher. Easy A, if you study. Be on time if you want to get an "A". The Hybrid cls meets once a week and she goes over the important material. It is easy if u do the work the work and pay attention. Overall, she is kool.

Excellent instructor. Professor Riggleman-Gross is incredibly understanding of her students. You earn point and lots of them for showing up on time, which many students can't seem to do. Her quizzes and tests are straight forward and projects are not that hard, but you do need to put in some effort. You can easily EARN an A. Great Teacher!

Professor Riggleman is a lovely lady. Her class was very fun and interesting. Tests were easy and if you do you part you will do great in the class. She made jokes, and it was hard not to focus in class. She knows her stuff and I highly recommend her.

She's extremely easy if you just read the chapter before class because her quizzes come straight from the book. Some questions are common sense. She's kind of funny too!

I loved going to this class! I like teachers who sit down and teach their subjects by telling stories and making everything relatable and interesting. I suggest having to textbook to follow along in class but she does post chapter outlines and powerpoints online.

EASY class. seriously, if you fail her class, you need to rethink the whole college thing. I took her hybrid 201 class and I passed it with flying colors, never studied, just completed the blackboard assignments and took the tests. again... SUPER EASY.

Also took her for SOC 215 (Family). Friendly, engaging, and energetic professor. Loves talking to students. Doesn't make the class discussions boring. Just read and study the book and you should pass her tests with As.

I really liked this teacher and would like to have her again. She teaches by telling stories; which is the best way to teach in my opinion. We do group work. Tests/Exams are easy as long as you study for them.

Very easy class. She is very nice however the lectures are pointless because she makes everything available online. There is no point in going to class unless you want to her talk about her life. You don't need to come to class to get an A. I would take this class if I were you looking at this. Just expect to be put to sleep in class.

Very cool class! Easy! She's nice and funny! Memorize the quizzes from homework because they'd come directly from the tests. If you do that you'll get an easy A!

She is a good prof. She takes her time to explain materials in details and very friendly.

Professor Riggleman sets you up for success. Even though she says the textbook is required, you do not need it as the powerpoints are online and available from day one. The class has fourteen blackboard quizzes, five in class quizzes (the questions can be tricky. Three tests, which if you study the powerpoint and the quizzes, you should be fine.

One of my favorite professors of all time! Very interesting in-class discussions, clear instructions, and she is very enthusiastic. There isn't a lot of homework, mainly just online quizzes which you can retake until you receive the grade you want, which are very helpful for the tests, as well as some online "short response" type assignments.

Ms. Riggleman is a great professor. She is really funny and her class is supper easy. You don't really need the textbook for her class. This class is an easy A. She has everything on blackboard such as her notes, black board quizzes, the black board quizzes you can take multiple times. I strongly suggest taking her. Easy A.

Lectures are super easy to follow, online quizzes are pretty much exactly the same as in class quizzes and exams. She assigns homework other than the quizzes, but its not horrible, it takes less than an hour to do. She uses powerpoints that were made by the textbook company, and she uploads them on blackboard, so save that $$$

Easy class, I would take her again. I toke her SOC 201 and 202. The only thing is during lectures she'll get off topic, she talks a her personal life a lot, and we don't cover all the chapters in class.

She makes the class interesting and engages all of her students. She is clear on expectations, if you miss class you are responsible for your own work. 1 quiz every chapter, 4 exams. Both are timed but if you read the PP you'll pass. Questions on exams are similar to the quizzes, review the quizzes and PP, exam questions can seem quite tricky.

One thing about this class. YOU LITERALLY CAN'T FAIL. literally the quizzes she gives are the same on the test. basically, show up, engage, do the blackboard quizzes, study that, pass test. It's foolproof. I'd definitely take again. Great teacher. Funny and cool. Despite all that, she'll make that "A" worth it.

Impossible not to get an A. I don't know how some of these people are saying the class is difficult. I skipped assignments on purpose because I was lazy and I was going to easily get an A. I took her 201 too. The test answers are all on quizlet and she gives you the test word for word the day before. I never show up, only on test days. Take it.

I don't know who is saying this is a hard class but they are preventing you from taking the easiest class of your life. I'm not joking my middle school classes where harder than this. It's ridiculously easy to get an A that it's almost offensive to me. I never showed up and I got an A studying only like 10 mins a day for both 201 and 202. Take her.

Easiest A I've ever received. She is a caring, organized, funny professor who really enjoys the subject. Didn't take much notes, just study her quizzes and you'll pass no problem. I would take her again.

I love how she relates real life examples to what we are learning, Helps me to remember. She gives you EVERYTHING YOU NEED TO PASS. It's on you to make the most of the tools provided. Test are exactly like quizzes and even have the same questions at times so be sure to do them! When emailing her, or asking her questions she can be quite sassy.

Just take her for your A. she is helpful. I will recommend her to everyone

This was by far one of the easiest/most enjoyable classes I've ever taken. As long as you do everything, you will get an A. Each test (there are 4) covers only 4 chapters. Each of those 4 tests are comprised of the online quizzes, so you have all the test questions ahead of time. This professor and class are easy. Do yourself a favor and take it.

This class is an easy A! All you have to do is complete the easy weekly assignments by their deadline & youll definitely get an A. 4 tests (not cumulative) are straight from blackboard quizzes so those are super easy as well. Lecture is fast & interesting, & shes nice. You can even miss the final test & pass w/ an A if you do good on the other ones

Amazing teacher!! Super easy and interesting. Always gives examples from real life, too bad I only took her 6 week class, a lot to learn from her. Make sure you do all your assignments on Canvas and quizzes and may be that won't need to take the final exam. As long as you hit the 900 point mark, it is an automatic A.

I took her 6 week summer class which wasnt too bad. It was fast paced, but all the work she gave was doable. Her test were a little hard, yet doable but she does not give study guides. She gives class time to do quizzes and homework which was a big help. She is very reasonable and understanding. She class is interesting and she is funny.

SUPER EASY CLASS. Exams are exactly the same as the review quizzes. Just show up and participate a little. The only thing you have to do is write a question essay of 500 words every class. WHICH IS SUPER EASY because of the topics you just have to write your opinion. If you thinking about it TAKE HER

I took her for the fall semester and I honestly think shes one of the best. She goes over a chapter for every class and your homework is to do a written assignment and a 10 question quiz where the answers are all in the textbook. Exams are just like the quizzes/textbook questions. If you have the opportunity to take her class, take it!

Professor Riggleman is very sweet. I'm enrolled in her 6 week online class & I have a 100%. There are weekly quizzes (that you have multiple tries on) & fun web activities. As long as you turn in your work on time, you will do well in this class. There are 3 exams, but you can avoid the last one if you already have an A before the exam. Easy class!

This class is an easy A if you just do the assignments and put in effort. There are 3 noncummulative exams that are based on the same exact questions from the weekly quizzes. I learned a lot of cool things from the textbook (easy to read; purchase directly from cengage to get it for $30). Fun class discussions and web activities as well. Take her!

Professor Riggleman is such a good professor, took her 6 week online class it was easy to follow, just attend lectures she is good. Use textbook for your exams as its open book, you will be fine. 10 Points quizzes are easiest as you can take them as many time as you want. Work for web activities as she grade them fairly. Overall good professor :):)

To start with, professor Riggleman is a good person. She is genuine, very honest and clear with her points. She let you do your quizzes and assignments ahead of time thru the whole course, exams are easy, assignments are fun. I had ZERO stress over this class! On the top of it her class is really fun and laid back. TAKE HER! she is the best!

I took her Fall 2019 and I can't say anything negative about this professor. She has great lectures and the class activities are truly fun. The assignments and quizzes are super easy and she gives you a lot of time to do them. The exams are in class, so you have to show up for those, but they're common sense. You don't need a textbook. Easy A!

Professor Riggleman is a good professor. Daily quizzes, answers can be found on quizlet. 4 exams the final exam can be dropped if you reach the minimum points to pass this class and the answers can be found on quizlet, and web activities that consist of 2 paragraphs about a certain topic. Do not need to buy textbook. Very easy class take her!

I LOVE PROF. LISA. She was one of the kindest, and I really enjoyed her class. Easy A. Quizzes, exams, everything is open book. She really makes SOC fun and easy. Take her class, you will thank me later. She is AMAZING.

She was a really good professor, her class wasnt hard at all as long as you do your work youll definitely get an A . Her lecture are always funny and interesting. Shes really sweet I recommend.

I took soc200 as a 7 week. each ch has a quiz and short essay question, web activities. i recommend writing abt 1 page for each web activity if you want to get an A, this is easy to do, just elaborate on your ideas. all the exams are open note and you can take them at home, reading the ch makes them easier. prof riggleman is good, take her!

She is an incredible professor, very passionate, easy going, there are three exams and only have to take two if you do well on the first two exams, super easy, based on points, and she gets you to think about different perspectives, I have never been bored of her classes they are great I took her for soc200 too and will take soc211 next semester

You have a quiz and web assignment for each chapter( there is like 18 chapter total )and get unlimited attempts on the quizzes. The exams are all open note and open textbook which is free online. Its really easy and her lectures are really engaging.

Professor Riggleman is very knowledgeable and makes concepts easy to understand. She is not a tough grader but expects you to do more than the basic requirements if you want an A. She always made class fun and used plenty of examples to make sure everyone understood. Sign up for her class she's really nice!

Easiest A I have ever received. Weekly homework assignments, 4 quizzes & 4 exams, lowest grade dropped. Show up to class and listen to lecture go home and do one assignment for the week.
