Students were not notified that she would be instructing the summer session for research methods and not Harrison. The Group project was difficult due to time constraints. She would always try and find trivial stuff for us to do to keep us there for the full class time. Passed the class not really feeling like I learned anything. So much for 3k.
Dr. Sandberg is an amazing professor and woman. She truly cares about her students and wants them to succeed. She offered A LOT of extra credit throughout the semester. The exams were not hard if you paid attention in class and studied the study guides. Mastering homework, but you only need an 80% to get full credit (!!!). TAKE HER.
I loved my PSYC 101 class with her. Her lectures were easy to follow and she posts the PowerPoints on Sakai. She posts study guides before each test and as long as you review your notes and skim through the book you'll do just fine.
Dr. Sanderberg is a really nice lady. Her lectures are okay, quick and straight to the point. You watch some videos in her class and she makes you do group activities at the end of lecture a few times but they are easy points. You don't really have to attend her lectures and she gives study guides which are REALLY helpful.
Her class lectures are exactly what we are supposed to read from the textbook (the textbook has more information), so if you'd like to skip you can just read and get an A. There are tests every 4 chapters, no midterm and one final. You have to participate in a few psych studies that only take 15 minutes, some are online. She gives out extra credit.
Not sure why people are being so hard on her here. She is actually really great and she knows here stuff. Nothing comes at a surprise and you don't even need to show up to the lectures all of the time because everything comes right out of the book. Know your stuff and it is an easy A.
Great professor. All of the lectures are online in case you miss a class, and she's very straightforward. No surprises, although there are some in class assignments that she puts on Sakai beforehand, whereas most are online through MyPsychLab. Overall, super easy class, super interesting, and totally recommend her. Final was 50 questions.
Her lectures are great and she always posts her power-points online. You have 4-5 tests, online hw and a few participation assignments in class. She gives detailed study guides before each exam, Non cumulative final. Easy B if you're lazy but if you show up and turn everything in easy A. I'm already taking her again, love her.
Lisa Sandberg is the BEST professor I could have had for psyc 101. The lectures are exactly what is on the test, and she gives out study guides as well. To get an A in the class, you don't even need to go in on her lecture days, as long as you go over the PowerPoint yourself. Only reason to go to class was she offered extra credit.
I love her! She is so nice, mostly lecture. We have a lot of easy assignments to keep your grade steady and only 4 tests throughout the year and no midterm or final. She is great and the class is actually interesting. Also lots of extra credit opportunities. Take this class for sure!
Really easy.
Dr. Sandberg was actually a great professor. She was relatively funny and discusses interesting material. He powerpoints are straight forward and the exams are just over her study guides so it is rather simple. If you listen and take notes, you'll get a good grade in this class.
Good class if you are interested in mental disorders. Tests are based off of the study guide material, study that and you'll get an A. Lectures are posted online, and the assignments she gives are fairly easy to complete. I'd take her again!
Fairly easy if you show up to class. Online homework for most chapters that you have several days to complete. Lectures are clear and informative. Gives extra credit all the time, which adds up to around 10 extra points if you do it all.
favorite thing about her class is that 3-4 times throughout her lecture she'll show videos of kids doing funny kid stuff that actually go really well with what we're learning. Her lectures go along well with the reading, but you still need do the readings to do well on exams. She gives really good study guides for exams
Professor Sandberg usually has interesting lectures with videos in them. Her tests are all multiple choice which makes them relatively do-able if you study hard. Questions on tests dont mess with your mind or anything, theyre generally straight forward. Only thing is the workload is a lot because she requires 16 research participation credits
She is an amazing teacher! She is very kind and helpful and as long as you review the study guides you will do fine. I am taking two more of her classes next semester because this class was very easy, and she is a very likable teacher.
Dr. Sandberg is my favorite professor I have ever taken at Loyola. She is one of the rare professors that can make you love and master the topic just from listening to her lectures. I recommend her 100%. Exams will be a breeze if you study from her study guides. She is very fair.
Professor Sandberg is great! She incorporates interesting studies and videos into the lectures and she her self is lowkey funny. The homework is easy, but they are assigned on random days so its better to just go to class. The tests are quite easy too if you have attend the lectures, even if no she provides a study guide.
Professor Sandberg was easy to understand, and good at pacing the new material. As long as you did the assignments and study guides, her class was an easy A. Also she offered constant extra credit. Only negative is she is a soft talker so she can be hard to understand.
EASY CLASS. So much extra credit, it's ridiculous. Sandberg is an adorable teacher and she really loves psychology. She gives out study guides that are exactly like the tests. Super clear and clearly wants everyone to succeed. Don't really have to go to class, but it's recommended, she takes attendance sometimes.
I thought that she was very nice as a person. When she's lecturing though, it kind of gets boring because of her monotone voice and she tends to just read off of the slideshow. She also doesn't round grades, which was a bummer. She's pretty nit-picky about her grading, but if you read the book you should do fine.
Easy class but learned a lot. The way she teaches makes it so easy to remember what she says when the exams come. She adds videos and stories into her lecture slides that you'll remember weeks later. If you go to class and listen, then do the study guide before each exam you will get an A. Do the psych studies early.
Super Easy Class! Just 3 Tests and the Final, one group paper and then some random Pass/fail in-class assignments that are basically busy work. Shes kind of boring/ monotone but always incorporates videos into her lectures. Her tests are just exactly everything on the study guide so if you go through the study guide you'll get an A.
Lisa is a wonderful professor. She really knows what she is talking about when it comes to abnormal psychology. Her grading is straightforward, and the tests are easy if you look at the study guide. A lot of writing assignments, and in class participation activities that are unannounced prior, so make sure you show up. Sometimes is monotone.
Lisa is very organized. Her lectures follow the slides and the book. It will not be difficult to keep up if you read the textbook chapters as the semester goes along. I would recommend doing the group project as early as possible. Stick to the guide for reflection papers if you want to get a full grade. As a person she is nice and friendly.
I've taken her every semester of my Loyola experience. Super clear on what she wants for her exams and really sweet person. Would recommend for anyone
Sandberg is such an adorable lady. She makes lectures interesting by incorporating videos and stories. She gives study guides for the exams, and if you do them, an A is very easy to get. No quizzes. 8 research credits required (don't be intimidated, very easy to do). Offers extra credit. I would 100% take her again!
Professor Sandberg is an excellent professor, she gets straight to the point. Does not give useless information, has amazing study guides, and gives plenty of cushion in case you do not do good on the exams. Take her any chance you get.
This is my 2nd time taking Lisa for a PSYC course and I love her! She is so caring and really nice! She is soft-spoken during lecture, but she posts her slides online! There are 5 exams which she provides a really helpful study guide to, do them and you'll get an A, 3 writing assignments, and unannounced participation activities for every chapter.
Professor Sandberg class is one of the easiest classes I've taken here at Loyola. Honestly just showed up to a 5 classes to turn in the handouts and do the tests. She also offers extra credit if you show up to class and also do extra credit hours for research studies. If you follow the due dates and do the study guides you'll easily pass.
She is a gem of a professor! Topics on study guides are exactly what's on the test. Her lectures are really interesting and her class is stress-free and fun to go to. You only need to read once you get the study guide. In the meantime just enjoy the interesting lectures. Would highly recommend.
Dr. Sandberg is the best professor I've ever had. She actually lectures with purpose and doesn't give exams that are impossible to pass. Lectures are amazing and the exam is the study guide with 5 questions from the actual reading. Even if you get those wrong, you'll get an A on the exam. She gives ec on the research participation and in class.
Dr. Sandberg gives interesting lectures with real life examples. She also provides a study guide for each exam which is extremely helpful. She is very nice outside of class as well.
Lectures are online, provides a checklist for "to-do's" on Sakai. Provides a study guide with all the material needed for each exam. 3-4 exams throughout the semester with a few handout and plenty extra credit options. Professor Sandberg is a very nice woman with a great sense of humor.
Really enjoyed class. Makes lectures interesting by using videos, live demonstrations, and personal stories. Lot's of reading and quizzes but it's all pretty easy. Lectures are online so you can skip. Tests are easy enough if you study and she has good study guides. The only challenging part is memorizing lot's of similar definitions and names
Professor Sandberg's lectures are basically just her reading from the Powerpoint, I stopped going halfway through the semester. She posts study guides with EVERYTHING that's on the exams, so you don't really need to do much studying prior to the release of the study guide. Super easy A, not very engaging but would recommend
She's great! Very helpful and understanding. If you study from the study guide is an easy A. There are several handouts during the semester. Tons of extra credit opportunities. I totally recommend her.
This was BY FAR one of the easiest classes I've ever taken but she's a very sweet woman. I hardly ever went to class & still ended with a high A. She gives you study guides & tells you exactly what's going to be on each exam so it's really hard to not do well. Lots of EC opportunities & a few group worksheets that were simple & easy
Great professor, especially for an intro course. Posts powerpoints on sakai and gives study guides for every exam. Made the material really easy to understand and remember. 4 exams, online quizzes, a few worksheets, and need to complete research credit (which is easy). Take her if you can.
Professor Sandberg is one of my favorite professors at Loyola. She genuinely cares about making sure everyone is on the same page, and helps in any way that she can. The quizzes are online and you can retake them until you get 100% which definitely helps in learning the content. One group project for the semester, and participation for each class.
A pretty good prof, but her style is kind of boring. I would've just skipped class and looked through the powerpoint and read the textbook if it wasn't for the unannounced participation activities and gotten the same thing out of it. Still a solid prof though who teaches well. Really nice but goes on a lot of tangents lol
One of the best professors at Loyola. Very caring and accepting. Amazing lectures that are always super interesting. I enjoyed going to class. She is not super hard. You will be fine as long as you come to class, do the assignments, and study for tests. I highly recommend Dr. Sandberg.
no attendance, PPS are from textbook and they're posted. HW for every chapter, exam question come from HW questions. Study guide for each exam, non cumulative exam including the final. gives a lot of extra credit. easiest A ever
One of the best professors at Loyola. Very clear on her expectations for the written assignment and group project. She gives a through study guide for each exam making it extremely easy to prepare for them! Just put in the work (which is not a lot), and you will get an A. The class was interesting and Dr. Sandberg is obviously very knowledgeable.
Lisa is an amazing professor! I loved taking her class and was excited every day although it was at 8:15 AM. Reading and taking notes prior to class will definitely help you during the lecture but it is not necessary. Exams are multiple-choice and non-cumulative. She gives extra credit. Only a few group assignments. HW using an online platform.
Lisa Sandberg is a great professor! Her class is very straightforward and she will tell you what will be on the exam exactly. You will definitely use your textbook as well as well as lecture notes for the exam, but like I said it is straightforward. Show up to class because she gives random participation activities.
Professor Sandburg is great! Her course is very clear along with her lectures. She gives you a study guide of exactly what is on the exams. Exams are large part of your grade but with the study guide they are super easy. She assigns homework online but it is only 20 questions usually once a week and is easy. Take her she is easy and you will learn!
Absolutely loved this class. Dr. Sandberg has such a calming presence and makes learning the class material quite easy. Tests are very straightforward and the writing assignments are too. I would highly recommend taking this class with her, she's great!
One of the best professors I have even taken at Loyola! She is so organized, clear, and so so sweet! She makes clear what she wants for her exams and class in general. Believe me, just TAKE HER!!!
I LOVE HER. She basically reads off the power points but she is extremely interested in developmental psych and teaches it well. We had participation activities so go to every class because if you miss one you can't make it up. And for exams take notes and read the book! The book actually helps in this class.
Professor Sandberg is very sweet! It sucks that I never got to meet her in person due to the all online format, but she was very clear and organized in her lectures! She seems to base her lectures in sync with the textbook, so make sure to read all the chapters along with lecture. Overall very sweet and would definitely take her again!
Professor Sandberg is awesome! Test answers come directly from the textbook, but you do not have to read the textbook to understand the material. Lectures are straight-forward with easy questions at the end and combined, the grade is based on exams and two, two-page papers.
Very clear organization and lectures for an online class. It moves fast but the study guide is basically the test and references the lectures and textbook. The class is easy if you stay on top the work and write down everything in the videos. Class was asynchronous
She is so clear about what she wants from you as a student and outlines each assignment and exam well! Asynchronous as well, so allows for flexibility, and some exam questions come straight from the lecture and homework! Research participation is required but it's not difficult and doesn't even need to be fully completed if you stay on track!
Very easy A for a psychology class. The class is totally asynchronous. Each week you must watch 2-3 lecture videos, answer lecture engagement questions, and do a 20 question homework assignment. 8 hours of research participation. 5 participation activities. 4 exams. The final exam is not cumulative. Would definitely recommend taking her for psych.
Super easy class and asynchronous. Lectures and one hw assignment posted weekly. Homework and exam questions are all incredibly easy (also on quizlet if you get stuck)
I have taken Dr. Sandberg for PSYC 273, PSYC 331, and PSYC 238 (a J-term) and she has consistently been a great professor. She is extremely clear, organized, and easy to follow. Her classes are always so interesting, and she is so good at explaining things that I never realize how much I have learned until the end of the semester.
Professor Sandberg is a solid choice for psychology. She does require us to read, which is a bit frustrating since her exams can be about book material. PSYC 101 has a lot to cover so having to read and memorize everything just in case was a lot. I wish she just tested us on lectures. Other than that, she's alright, easy class.
Take her if you can. Easy A, just be familiar with lectures. No proctoring on exams since we were online. Idk exactly how she is in person, but I'm sure she's fine.
She was an okay professor, but you didn't get to interact with her at all. The longest part of the class would be taking notes for her lectures. It often took me 1-3 hours for it. My recommendation is having the book and online homework open at the same time and only take notes for the lectures. Tests are also open note.
Could be because this class was asynchronous, but I missed the interaction component this class could have had. Besides that, you learn a lot I would say. Lots of reading and watching prerecorded lectures. Very organized and clear grading criteria. Do HW, readings, and watch the lectures and you'll be good.
She is such an awesome professor. Her lectures and slides are easy to comprehend. You have weekly homework assignments based on the textbook, but they are easy. Tests are multiple choice and final is not cumulative. She also gives you plenty of extra credit. Make sure to attend class because sometimes she does participation activities. Take her!!
She's a solid choice for a PSYC 101 class. She does seem to rush through her lectures and seems bothered to answer questions because she wants to get through the lecture, but overall easy Professor. She might be a better choice her upper level psych classes.
Professor Sandberg is very sweet and caring. Her expectations are very straightforward but she does do unannounced participation activities that cannot be made up, so attendance matters. Her exams are pretty detailed but as long as you study you should pass. I recommend her if you take psychology very seriously.
Dr. Sandberg is a really good lecturer. My class was huge so I didn't have much opportunity to interact with her, but she's really sweet and clear about everything. Definitely a good choice!
Took her for a 273 class. She is very clear and to the point. Her lectures are good, but class is test heavy. Most test questions come straight from the book, so you have to read!
Dr. Sandberg is great! She is very sweet, organized, and has a clear grading structure. Her lectures are interesting and I learned so much in her class. She also offers a lot of extra credit! I highly recommend Dr. Sandberg for PSYC 101!
This class was extremely easy and I learned a lot. Besides the tests, there's really only 2 assignments you have to do. She gives a study guide for every test and as long as you fill it out and study it the tests aren't very difficult.
Very clear in her expectations. Great written study guides for the exam. Study the questions from the homework for the test because they will be in the same format. She is very kind and her lectures were interesting and engaging. If she's available, take her!
Take Professor Sandberg for Psychology. Tests arent worth that much and the rest is basically in class participation activities and Online Homework. She also gives a good amount of extra credit by doing research participation.
Dr. Sandberg was very knowledgeable in psychology and made very straight-forward lectures. The homework was easy and she would send out some example tests questions to help you prepare. Make sure to show up to class for easy participation activities, they will affect your grade! Overall I recommend her.
I have taken psych 331 and 372 with professor Sandberg and loved both classes! Her lectures are engaging and she gives tons of easy to follow examples. Her tests come straight from the lectures, with a little bit of outside reading too. She gives extra credit and participation activities as well. She is super caring and always willing to help!
There were 4 exams (the 4th one being a final that is non-cumulative), one paper, and participation activities that you are allowed to work on with a partner. I feel like she was straightforward with what is expected and what to study. As long as you show up to class, study, and do the participation activities, you will do great!
Professor Sandberg provides engaging lectures on psychopathology and provides coursework that keeps you engaged. There are 10 participation actives, 4 exams and one paper. The exams are straightforward with the multiple choice though the short answer can be challenging at times. Regardless, she is responsive and clearly wants students to succeed.
Sandberg is a great psych professor, and her exams are super straightforward. Her study guides are basically everything that will be on the exam. She doesn't try to trick you at all and she genuinely just wants you to know the material. One of my favorite psych professors in the department
The class is pretty easy but her lecturing is kind of boring and sometimes triggering without a warning. The class is graded on 4 exams, a reaction paper, and participation activities.
I honestly dont understand why she's rated so well. Her exams were some of the hardest I've ever taken. 50 questions (9 are short answer) only 50 minutes to do them. Questions are so intricate most of the time it takes 2 minutes alone just to read. I've never finished any of them completely. It is also impossible to stay awake through her lectures.
Fascinating lectures. Kept me interested even early in the morning!!
Prof. Sandberg's class is highly enjoyable. Her tests are accessible, and represent the content we learned without unreasonable expectations. She is incredibly interesting to listen to talk about psychopathology, and provides a plethora of resources for us to expand our knowledge of the field - which are actually fascinating to read and watch.
Prof Sandberg is so nice, she really cares if her students are passing and will take the time to talk to you if ur falling behind
She's so sweet and the content was actually really interesting. She is passionate about the subject and adds on a lot of info that isn't on the powerpoint, which I find more helpful and engaging than reading directly from the slides! Also provides real life examples which make concepts easier to understand
I love this teacher and hope to take her again. The point of this class is to understand a disorder and apply/diagnose someone with it, which is why the tests are specific, but if you study, you will do fine. It is lecture-heavy, but I enjoyed her lectures. My tip is to study your notes and the vocab at the end of the chapter from the textbook.
she is v nice and chill and knows her stuff. 4 exams and a few reflections. all pretty easy and lectures are pretty interesting.
Simple class.10 quizzes 7 reflections and learning engagement which is one or two questions that you can get wrong and still get the points. Most of the learning engagement questions are on the quizzes. She is a tough grader but nothing crazy.Very good with tech and quick to reply through email. Not my favorite Prof but I'd take her again. skip book
Dr. Sandberg is decent. However, she seemed to know psychopathology is a sensitive subject and would try to give trigger warnings, but never adequately did so in my opinion. This included very loud audio for several minutes of schizophrenic hallucinations. If you have concerns with mental health, maybe find a different professor.
Show up and do the work and you will do great. She knows a great deal about the subject and gives engaging lectures. I changed my major to psychology based on another one of her classes and don't regret it!
Sandberg is a great professor! Lectures aren't boring. Exams are 50 questions in 50 mins so you might want to get extra time if u can (I should have but didn't - still did well). The study guides for the exams are helpful! You have to write a journal entry twice a week (easy) but they aren't due every week - you turn them in in bulk 3 times.
Dr.Sandberg teaches by powerpoint slides, which normally I wouldn't like but she does do stories in-between and other details. Her exams are fairly if you study and go to class. I would take her again she makes psychopathology fun to learn about!
This is my third time taking a class with Dr. Sandberg and I could not recommend more! My favorite Psyc professor ever! Grades are based on four exams that she gives practices problems and a study guide for, as well as a few participation activities done in class. Super informative and very kind woman! Take her!!
I literally didn't go to half of the classes and still got A's on all of the exams. Super easy class.
This was my second class with Dr. Sandberg and easily one of my favorite classes I have taken at Loyola. Dr. Sandberg wants her students to succeed (you literally get a study guide for the exam). She offers extra credit and opportunities to make up missed participation activities. I look forward to taking class again with her next semester!
class is loaded because the subject itself is hard, but she does whatever she can to make it more manageable. lectures are very interesting, and she doesn't just read off of the slides, she adds her own information and stories to make them interesting. tests are long but very basic in terms of questions, and she gives study guides. 10/10 loved her
I LOVE LISA. If you have a chance, please take her. The class is all lecture and her slides are clear and organized. The exams are easy if you complete the study guide (STUDY GUIDE IS A LIFESAVER). She is my favorite psych professor. Super funny, sweet, and a little awkward which makes her extremely approachable. Also, she clearly knows the content
She is super nice and kind. Tests are super easy if you just fill out her study guide and read it over a few times. There are random participation activities, but if you're skipping just check on it during the class period time. Her lectures are light but you learn a lot and it really sticks with you! 10/10!
Lisa Sandberg is a great professor; she is very engaged with the class and is open to any questions people may have throughout the lecture. Tests are fairly easy, and she gives out a lot of extra credit opportunities at the end of class to help boost your grade. She will also let the class out early when she is done teaching, which is really nice.
Very good professor. Lectures are easy to follow, and often engaging with in-class demonstrations. Textbook is provided online for free which is always a plus. Be sure to look for research early, though, since it's a part of the grade and becomes really hard to find when you get later into the year. You can substitute it with short papers, though.
Easy-going professor and class. Creates informative study guides that help you ace tests. Lectures can be boring but informative and hw journals are a great way to understand the material better. In-class activities are very easy. Would recommend and take again!
only graded on test
She was pretty monotone so I didn't pay attention much. There's no homework so your grade pretty much relies fully on exams. She gives some extra credit at the end of lectures worth 0.5-1 EC points. I could've done better if I studied more. She gave study guides before exams. Overall, pretty good 101 class, not too stressful so I'd recommend
Dr. Sandberg is one of my favorite professors at Loyola. No homework just 3 journals that you have to turn in over the course of the semester. She makes an incredible study guide that includes all the topics on the exam. She is an incredibly clear and interesting professor! Do yourself a favor and take her!
Dr. Sandberg is a great professor. Lectures aren't necessarily mandatory but I definitely recommend going because the info in class is helpful for the exams. Only 4 exams, 4th is the final, and study guides are given before hand which are basically the test. The first test is the hardest but the rest are very easy once the semester goes on.
Very nice, and lectures well. As long as you take notes and study all of the terms you'll be fine during exams, she's not the kind of professor that will surprise you on a test. The tests are the study guides to a T.
Class is pretty boring, pretty much Univ but for psych careers. You don't actually use the textbook, most assignments she'll post before the due date without saying anything until right before they're due. Weekly quizzes but its online, most assignments are written reflections. Uses breakout rooms, all around easy class.
Attendance not mandatory but you should go because the exams are based more on lectures. And the lectures are interesting and she sometimes shows related video clips. Fair grader.
Dr. Sandberg's class was super interesting! Very knowledgeable and friendly (although she can't hear very well so speak loud if you ask questions). Four exams, participation assignments, and a writing assignment which is super straightforward and easy. Tests aren't that challenging if you study/take good notes. Highly recommend!
taken her multiple times, very lecture heavy and can get a bit boring if you don't love the class, but she's super nice. a lot of material covered in classes but test questions are straight forward and based off the study guides so it's manageable. super fast grader too, you get grades back next day at the latest
There are four exams and one written assignment. Attendance is not mandatory and she posts all the slides on Sakai. The Sakai page is super organized. There's about one participation activity per week, but your two lowest grades for those are dropped. Don't need to buy the book.
I've had Dr. Sandberg for two classes now; she is amazing. Every psychology major should take her at least once during their time at Loyola.
Dr. Sandberg is a wonderful teacher! The class is lecture-heavy so it's important to attend class since all of the material is on the exam. The exams cover what is in the study guides so make sure to review them right when she gives them. Participation activities, 4 exams, and 1 paper that you have about a month to write. Very easy class overall.
Professor Sandberg's PSYC101 class is straightforward. Attend lectures, take notes, and study the provided guides for exams. Unstuck AI was a game-changer for my test prep - highly recommend it alongside the textbook.
Sandberg is a really great professor. She loves answering questions in class and her office hours are always helpful. She always posts the slides before class so you can check if there is a participation activity (mandatory in class) or not. She is hard of hearing but that does not impair her teaching quality or ability.
Second time taking Dr. Sandberg and I love the environment of her class. It's always low stress and great for learning. There are participation activities and she won't tell you in advance so you'll need to go to class. Study guides are given for tests! 4 sample questions are given too, which will show up on the test!! TAKE HER!!
SUCH a lovely professor, oh my god. Tests are straightforward, extensive study guides given beforehand. In-class participation activities, so show up. She's so passionate about what she teaches and it shows in her lectures!
I took this online as a j-term, everything was asynchronous and all you had to do was read the textbook(which wasn't really that necessary) watch the prerecorded lectures and answer the participation activities at the end of each lecture as well as the quizzes. Super easy class highly recommend taking.
Love love love professor Sandberg, she is so sweet and kind and clearly has a passion for what she is teaching. Unit tests are mostly multiple choice and she does provide a study guide however some of the questions can be worded in a way that makes them unnecessarily complicated but over all she is by far one of my fav profs at LUC
while i didn't have professor sandberg in person, and this class was barely once a week, i still think she's a great professor. there isn't a lot of super tough work that's needed for the class, it's really just about making sure you do the little things. the class itself was pretty boring, but not bad overall.
I really loved the structure of Dr. Sandberg's class. She made it abundantly clear what was expected of us, which freed us up to enjoy the fascinating info from lectures. She is a good lecturer. I also liked the participation activities in which we practiced referencing criteria from the DSM-5 to diagnose different example patients with disorders.
Dr. Sandberg was super sweet and a great professor. For a class as big as psych 101, she was very easy to reach outside of class if you needed to review content. We had some in class assignments for extra credit and attendance so I recommend going to the lectures. Exams were straightforward based on the powerpoints.
Prof. Sandberg was dope. Only graded by 3 exams and very small in-class activities. She can be very quick at times in her delivery of the lectures, but the material is not too hard to understand. She is very good at answering any questions and seems very accessible outside of class. Exams are pretty simple if you study, RECOMMEND.
Professor Sandberg is super nice and sweet so no hate to her! The class itself was fine, it was more about the exams which were difficult, the average on each test would be a B and only like 2 people would ever get a A. So that was the frustrating thing. Not bad overall but I wouldn't recommend because the exams are hard.
She is very nice and all her material is very comprehensive. The course has 4 test and an analysis paper you can do with someone else. She has good study guides for tests and the final is just the last unit exam.
