Probably the easiest teacher in the world, our tests are multiple choice, she always extends math labs if you miss the due date, you get extra credit on your tests if you do extra problems on your homework, i think i have a 99 in the class...shes so awesome!

she is pretty cool, just make sure you go to class, and do the homework. she has a sign-in sheet for every class, so attendance is pretty much mandatory. she will really help you out if you need it.

Professor Yocco is AWESOME. You do have to buy the book to do homework problems, but they are usually minimal. She provides all her notes binded in the University Bookstore. Tests are easy and if you turn in the homework you have a chance to get up to 5 points extra added to your test. No quizzes, only 4 tests. GREAT, TAKE HER!!

Yocco's class is great. She gives extra credit if you miss less than two classes, otherwise attendance is not mandatory. Do all the homework you get 5 extra credit points on the test. Tests are SO easy. The final is cummulative, but a breeze. She is so nice too. If you make a mistake on turning something in she will help you out. Great class!

I was really nervous about college math as I have a lot of anxiety towards the subject. Dr. Yocco really helped me. I feel like I learned so much from her class, I think I'll take another with her sometime soon.

Try to take her if you can, she's the nicest teacher ever, offers to help you so much, and really cares about each student. She gives you formulas on her multiple choice tests, you can do extra homework for extra points, and since she wrote the book, walks you through everything clearly. I love her!! AMAZING TEACHER. I barely passed high school algebra, took her my first semester for calculus and made an A! haha her classes fill up SO fast, but really get her if you can. You will DEFINATELY be doing yourself a favor! I LOVE HER!

Incredibly easy. I went into the final with a 101.5 average making it virtually impossible to make below an A. She gives you study guides that are exactly like the test, and plenty of bonus opportunities. Attend class for more bonus...this class is impossible to fail. She just got teacher of the year this past semester.

The best Calc teacher ever!! TAKE HER!! You can make up to 5 extra credit points on every test, and have the chance to add 2 points to your final grade(with attendance). Her final was the hardest test, but it was multiple choice, show your work every time!I took Calc last semester and dropped it and I ended up with an A in her class.

I like Ms. Yocco, but I think she is very overrated. Her class is SO boring and in all honesty, too easy. This was seriously the least challenging class I've ever taken. If you took any calculus in high school, this class will be an absolute breeze. I recommend if you want the easiest A possible, but don't expect anything but sheer boredom.

Best teacher EVER! I love math and she made it even better! There is lots of chances for extra credit, all the quizzes were take home, and had 3 tests plus a cumulative final. Attendance was mandatory, but not like it wasn't easy. Also, when I didn't go to class, those were the parts of the chapter I would have trouble with. I would def take her!

As a Writing major, I only needed one Math credit, and since it didn't need to be a specific course, I opted for the lowest class. Ms. Yocco is a little boring, but a very organized and helpful teacher; her classes were easy to understand, and she re-opened all of our HW/quizzes at the end of the semester for a grade boost. It's an easy A.

The best calculus teacher by far in the Math department here. She is willing to help you in anyway possible. If you do your work and study guides you will make a "A". Don't skip class and she will give you 2 xtra points added onto your final average, and she drops two homework assignments and 1 test grade replaced with your final test grade.

She is an excellent teacher. I hated math and she made me fall in love with it. Everyone says she is easy, BUT YOU LEARN. You could apply what you learned in this class to most of the harder calculus problems other teachers offer and you will be able to solve them. Take her, very nice lady.

Mrs. Yocco is a god-send! Math is a very hard subject for most, but she teaches it so well and she makes it as easy as she can while still covering all of the material. Homework is online and it is usually fairly easy. If you have the option to take her, do it!

Great Teacher. She usually cancels a couple of classes throughout the semester, and when she does have class it is very easy. There is no way that you should get anything less than a B in this class. She is very helpful and will work with you if you have missed any assignments.

HANDS DOWN my favorite professor at Georgia Southern. I wish she could've taught all of my math classes. She breaks the material down so that everyone understands. The nicest professor you will meet on campus. She will help you whenever you ask. Class is very simple. Just do all of the homework online and you are almost guaranteed an A. Took the Math Goes to Hollywood/Math in the Media FYE class. We watched movies for the most part. It is required that you go to class in order to pass. I believe that is an FYE department rule. Just show up and you will pass. Great teacher, by the way. Probably the nicest one you will meet on campus.

Probably one of if not the best math teachers at GSU. Study the notes in class and complete the homework assignments on time. Go to class!! She adds 2 points to your final grade and replaces the grade you make on the final with your lowest test grade if you miss less than 2 days. She is a very good teacher and extremely accommodating. I was out of school for two weeks and missed quite a few assignments, she wasn't hesitant to reopen the assignments and gave me plenty of time to make them up. She has a very funny personality although she could initially seem a little cold. Her assignments are all online and fairly easy.
