Be prepaired for a lot of studying! Theres so much info to know, relatively easy to understand but A LOT! Dont try to cram. She is super nice and sweet tho and responds very fast to emails. Id catagorize her as one of the better teachers.

Helpful prof. NO exams! There were 1 page case summaries due every week and a group project due at the end of the semester. I only used the book as a reference for the project. Grades mostly vary due to grammer mistakes. Attendance is graded. If you attend class and proof read your cases you should get an A! FYI-Does not give A+ if you care.
Lise is a sweetheart ! The most helpful professor ever ! But lectures are boring and there is a lot of info. The test are ok, if you go over the long study guide. i hated the hw she gave us, but just ask.. she lives on her computer and replies to email in no time. Take MIS with Lise.
Really nice teacher. She really is very helpful if you need it. She a tough grader, but if your a good student in class and she likes you she will round you up alot. I went from a B to a A-.
Expectations clearly outlined, explanations/lectures well prepared and understandable, very helpful, very quick communication through email, grading scale is different-but highly structured. You will do well by attending class or lots of outside effort if you unfamiliar w/Excel and Access. Group projects required; select team w/caution.
required class and she is great. lectures can be extremely boring becasue of the material. homework are interesting and can be fun. group project isn't bad, exams are not bad either, all essay. individual presentation as well. all in all you will learn the basics and if you put forth the effort an A is very attainable.
AMAZING teacher!!!! Always helpful. very sweet and down to earth. class can be boring but she told talks for about 30 mins. easy work. group projects and papers. Favorite professor for semester. :) You will love her !!
She is one of the best professors I've ever had. She is very clear, helpful, and understanding. There are two exams and she supplies a study guide for them. The study guides help a lot. HW once a week, fairly easy. There is also a group project that is very doable. Really good class, good professor, glad I took this class with her.
This class was informative. Lectures tend to be long and her voice can be irritating after awhile. She shows favoritism though. I emailed her about the review guide asking her to furthering explain the topic an she wouldn't give me any help. My classmate asked the same question and she just gave him the answer. Because of this I wouldn't take her a
Amazing prof. Lise is extremely knowlegable and clear in lectures. Class may feel long and boring but the subject is to blame for that, not Lise. Lightning quick responding to emails, and very helpful in her office. There are no exams in this class. Group projects are fun and allow you to be creative. In-class assignments are short and easy.
Plays favorites. Get on her good side or else you could do the exact same thing as your class mate and you will get a not much effort comment and the other person will receive full credit.
Very good teacher! One of the best at UMD... She loves what she teaches and you can tell. I actually might peruse an ITM minor because of this class!
Best teacher at UMD. She is extremely helpful, willing to help you whenever you needed. Very understanding and making topic interesting. Great Teacher. Would recommend anyone to take her.
Hands down best professor at the umd. If you don't take her, you will miss out big time. Always willing to go out of the way to help you out with ANYTHING school related. Answers Email almost immediately. By far my favorite!
Very nice. Welcomes questions, emails, and office visits. Attendence req. Homework every week. Not too bad. Can be tricky figuring out what you need to study for the 3 exams. She gives a study guide that tells you the exact questions of the test but you must find answers. Lecture is all power point. 1 presentation and group project. No BOOK! Got A
Good teacher. Fairly easy class. Her test are all essay so if you're not the best writer maybe find another teacher. But she gives out all the possible questions before the exam so that's a plus. Good teacher, so so class. Can get a good grade if you show up and do the work and study all the material!
Lise gives you a ton of busy work. Pretty much nonsense homework, it's easy just time consuming. Study PP slides, no book needed, and tests are relatively easy.
A really lovely lady. She is really helpful in the class, the class is not tough either.
She taught in Finland while I was there. She was my first university professor. I had no grasp at the concepts. I thought I was over my head in college while others knew it. She worked with me everyday until I got it. Great teacher, great leader! There needs to be more teachers like her at every level!
hello
I really liked the class, even though I never paid attention to lectures. If I would have actually read the readings I would have did better. Class was rather easy material if you have some background knowledge.
Lise was a great professor. She was very helpful and her class was rather easy all that the student had to do was come to class and review the slides. Test were graded in our favor.
Very knowledgeable about subject matter, plenty of real-world experience. Keeps things fun and interesting. Encourages innovative thinking.
She knows her stuff and will take the extra time to explain anything your foggy on. Responds quickly to emails/texts. Essay exams are challenging and you need to study as you go or you're doomed. She does provide a detailed study guide. Learn everything on it. Presentation wasn't bad, but the CLASS grades you and some people were jerks.
Holy Cow! 5 WRITING assignments, and 2 WRITING exams. If it's up to me, I would have skipped all her lectures and still get an A. she will give a study guide with 100 questions to MEMORIZE and question you in 10 of them. FOR ITM to IT Philosophy. you won't learn much about technicality as much as the social impact of it. Lab is Crazy LONG+Project.
Very interesting class; Lise made her lectures enjoyable and interesting. Probably the best teacher I had this semester. She had 5 writing assignments and 2 essay tests, which I thought was a bit excessive for a long semester. The lab portion, ITM 311, was also interesting even though it sometimes got boring at times when you knew the content.
"and so forth"
Class is so boring. Gives you 40+ questions to find the answers on and gives around 10 on the actual test.
The class overall is a waste of time. It is required which is unfortunate. It is once a week and only an hour long. The book is required and you spend the entire class just copying steps out of the book.
Fun class if you want it to be. She is nice and will take the time to answer any question and makes sure you understand her answer. Gives a “study guide” for her all essay exams, DO THE STUDY GUIDE everything on it CAN be on the test (S.G like 50-60Q test 8-10) will take her for any other needed class!
Class is much harder than it needs to be. Study guide has 100 questions. Answers must be very in depth making it difficult. She will pick 10 random questions for the exam so know them all. Overall far too difficult of a class for what it is. She can't really help much in the lab if you have a problem, she doesn't know excel too well. Avoid if u can
One of the easiest classes i have ever taken. Lectures can be slightly boring and mundane but you need to go for partcptn. points. Yes she does give a lot of review questions to know for the exam - but she only picks the easiest ones. Overall a good class to pick up basic ITM knowledge & and an easy 'A' to boost your GPA. Take over summer.
EASY excel lab. Wish going to class was not mandatory (attendance/participation points). She will let you leave after attendance, if you finish asgmt. before coming to class and submit it via blkboard...EASY A & will def. learn new things in excel...friendly teacher, will def take again.
Prof. Urbaczewski is a wonderful teacher! Her classes can sometimes be boring, but she does her best to keep it interesting. DO NOT buy the ITM 310 book, you won't need it. You will need the ITM 311 book - labs are very easy. The final project at the end was enlightening but make sure you're in a decent group. A great teacher overall!
Easiest class ever. Only down side is exams are all essay question and her study guides are 100 questions long for a 10 question test. ITM311 lab is a joke. Book is not used or needed.
A teacher who is passionate about what she teaches. The class wasnt hard but wasnt also too easy. Study well and do the study guides and you'll be fine. Group presentation and a personal presentation (which is pretty easy). Nice and approachable professor as well..
Best teacher .... Lectures are long ... The assignments were really easy, you just have to give your opinion about the topic. Grades very fairly. The tests are not that hard, you just have to put a lot of time into it ... Overall a very interesting class. Would definitely recommend it.
She takes attendance every class and that's part of your grade. Other than a group project and a couple individual assignments, you only have 2 tests. DO THE REVIEW QUESTIONS!! The exam consists of questions directly from the review questions so memorize the review and you're golden.
I'm taking her for ITM the summer semested. You can tell that she knows what she is talking about and her examples help so much. Write down everything she says and you will be all set. I actually look forward to going to her class everyday because I know I will learn something new and interesting .
she's really nice. she just recently changed her grading criteria and its a lot easier than before. only 2 exams with a couple of assignments. assignment answers are based on your opinion so just be thorough. there is no reason for anything less than a B in this class. DO NOT BUY THE BOOK, I REPEAT, DO NOT BUY THE BOOK.
SO EASY! I never paid attention in class but did the review questions and got an A on the exams. Few hw assignments which are very simple and worth a lot of points. She's an easy grader. Her slides don't help but do the review questions! Only 2 exams & 5 hw assignments. Attendance counts! BOOK IS NOT USED AT ALL. Don't buy it!
Pretty easy class. There are only 5 assignments and 2 exams midterm and final. She gives you review questions that are put on the exams. The only down side is that there are about 500 review questions on each study guide and only 50 questions on each exam .pretty intense if you ask me. Just buy the test bank for 30 bucks and you'll be set. No book.
Great Professor. Very organized and clear as to what's expected.
Lectures were extremely educational, and professor really knows what she's talking about. It's a fascinating introduction to IT. However, tests are questions from the chapter reviews -- if you don't read them and get all the correct answers (sometimes hard to glean from lectures), your grade will suffer. Be VERY thorough on homework assignments.
Everything about the structure in previous posts is accurate. I will say it was the most boring lectures. Hard to maintain focus. Talks more about privacy and security more than the actual concept of ITM. Her test questions come from the chapter review and test bank. Disappointing since she does not even remotely lecture about half of it
Her whole style changed! The exam is no longer easy. No review. No handouts. Just slides and lecture.
She completely changed up her class. Gives no guide or help, but expects you to understand her concepts from the 200 slides you are given for exams. Honestly one of the worst professors I have ever had. DO NOT take her.
I have no clue why others are complaining! Yes, she changed her "guide" to "no guide". READ THE SLIDES. IF ITS COMMON SENSE, don't worry. Learn the rest. She is the best. I was sick for 2 weeks, and she gave me time to readjust my presentation. SHE GAVE ME A B+ overall, but she gave me an A since I was in the top 3 of the class ranking. LOVE HER!!!
Terrible professor. Lectures are boring, her exams are hard. She gives you 500 review questions and she will randomly pick 50 from them. Take another prof.
Not a great professor in my opinion
She is just the sweetest lady! Actually cares about her students and is understanding of their problems compared to most profs that don't care. Be very thorough on assignments. Class wasn't hard but the tests were. Not sure we talked about a lot of the test questions during lectures. Textbook not mandatory but I think it would have helped my grade
Pay attention to the questions she asks at the beginning of class, those are usually on the exams. Make sure to diligently follow the instructions on the assignments to get full credit, it will make a difference in your final grade. Not a hard class if you study.
She is a great person and will work with you if you ask for help. People can complain about her teaching style and the work, but they are just looking for an easy A. Try, do the work, ask questions, and you will be fine. Its the person that makes the professor not the style/class
Awesome teacher!! So helpful , you really learn a lot from her lectures! I would recommend , wish I could have her as my professor for other classes!
She is awesome. Her lectures are great, and she reviews at the beginning of class. If you want to enjoy class, than take her class.
Course was pretty straightforward - information covered in class matched the exams. Prof U seems to care for her students and wants them to do well and set them up for success. Class typically went the entire scheduled time each week. I would definitely take another class from her.
She is really knowledgeable about the subject and often had interesting stories to add to her lectures. The first test is hard but it gets easier. She has a few homework assignments which aren't difficult and you do a short presentation. She is a really nice person so if you are struggling talk to her.
Professor Urbanzewski is amazing! At the beginning of the semester, I was hesitant because I had read negative comments about her teaching techniques. As long as you show up for class and complete all of the assignments, you will be in good shape. I thought I would major in Supply Chain but now I am majoring in ITM.
One of the best/nicest professors I have had all year. She makes the topic easy to learn and is extremely enthusiastic/knowledgeable about the subject. Homework is easy, and long, with a lot of time to do it. Attendance matters and there is an easier presentation to do at some point through the semester. Tests are difficult, so study hard.
ONE OF THE BEST TEACHERS! FOLLOW HER DIRECTION NAD YOU WILL BE GOOD!
Lise is a good lecturer, but the superlatives end there. Other ratings have also mentioned the difficulty of the tests, I wish this were true because that would imply that you can study to gather the information she tests you on. However her tests are filled with subjective confusing questions that you are forced to dive into her mind to understand
Head my warning STAY AWAY, most of the other reviews here seem to center around how nice she is, this is true but has nothing to do with her teaching style. Her lectures are boring and she fills more than half the class with pointless student presentations. She makes her own tests which becomes clear when you notice how unclear and subjective
Just take this class online, its a pointless pre req. in the business school. Prof U is a really nice teacher but she makes this class difficult. Dont waste your time, take it online and focus on your more meaningful classes.
The tests are not out of a test bank and that is abundantly clear. Prof. U should take a class on creating test questions because her exams make no sense. She will not budge when confronted by students on the grades she gives out. Her HW is a pain but rather easy, and the project is easy and a waste of time.
Awful teaching style. She comes off as laid back and understanding, however she is not! She will test you on her opinion and tiny details she mentions while droning through the slides.
This class is not easy, but it should be. Compared to the other teachers Prof U makes this class very difficult. Most of this class focuses around the introduction of ISM concepts which are rather straight forward and intuitive. Prof U spins her own subjective defintions into the class and complicates a rather easy subject. Try another prof.
5 homework assignments which can take 3 hours or more on average. Quizzes that don't help. Tests can be quite confusing, for no apparent reason. First test class was an average in the 60%. ATTENDANCE MANDATORY. Lame in front of class project (like the other assignments, does not help you learn for the material/test).
Her tests are pretty difficult even though they are all multiple choice. Don't expect to do well on the tests without studying (average score on the first exam was 68%). She is a pretty tough grader on homework assignments. You can pass the class if you take notes and study, but getting an A will take some time and effort.
Her exams and papers are extremely difficult because she wants you to do it her way not the books definition. She makes the class more difficult then it needs to be and her quizzes are pointless. She uses 40 + slides every class period and doesn't offer any type of study guide for exams. I wouldn't recommend her to anyone.
The professor is really difficult but she is very helpful and supportive. 5 assignments that need a good 4 to 5 hours,3 exams and online quizzes and she gives participation points for attendance. If you take good notes and pay attention to her lectures, you should be good.
Her exams are very tricky and are purposely made to trick you. She gives you 5 pointless assignments that don't relate to the coarse. Each assignment is very vague and she grades them very tough. She is accessible outside of class. I wouldn't recommend her. Take it online if it's available.
This summer course turn out to be a flip course which means we just come into class to do the assignment without a lecture. We got graded very hard on everything she couldnt figure out the answer to. Google was definitely our best help. She was nice, but I would only take her as a last option. Hard grader & must be on time to avoid deductions
She makes you do 5 unclear essay assignments that don't relate to the class or martial being taught. There's also an individual presentation in front of the class that's also unrelated to class material. Attendance is graded and mandatory. Take someone else if you can.
Overall shes a nice person, helpful and understanding to students' situations and willing to work with them. Hard graded though! Heres something that isnt highlighted on the syllabus but should be: 5 POINT DEDUCTION FOR BEING LATE TO CLASS, 10 POINT DEDUCTION FOR BEING ABSENT! Class isnt too hard
She goes way too fast dont even bother writing down the slides..... you wont be able to write them down. 5 pointless long assignments that dont relate to the class. You need to do a pointless presentation. Dont take this professor if you can avoid her :(
STAY AWAY WORST PROFESSOR EVER !!!!!!!
This is the first professor where I didn't have to use the book. Her slides are all you need. The quizzes are very straightforward review the slides ask questions you pass. Her two-page assignments make sure to research your answer and provide evidence Don't give a general answer. assignments are fun. She makes herself available for her students.
Amazing Prof. Take notes during her review sessions of each class. They will HELP A LOT!! Papers were not your normal type papers. They're super easy and fun. You have to read online articles and answer questions. Just answers the questions and have the same exact format that shes asks for to get 100% on papers. 10 quizzes, all online, 3 attempts
The class was based off 5 assignments, 3 exams, quizzes (online with 3 attempts) and an individual project. Assignments were written 2-3 pages. Quizzes and project are meant to boost your grade, so do well. Slides help A LOT as her exams are based off of them. She is extremely nice and always keeps you updated. She does offer extra credit.
Ignore all the bad comments, she is awesome! Yeah, tests can be difficult but compared to my other UM classes, this class was a breeze. On her assignments, you'll get a 100 if all you do is follow the instructions lol. Take her!! Trust me!
There was a semester long group project that was very vague and when asked questions about the project, she would simply respond with it is supposed to be vague so that you can make the project on whatever you wish. Lost my A because of vagueness. Other than the abomination of a final project, the tests and assignments are easy.
Gives hard work. BEWARE!!!
Extremely picky about details. She makes it clear, but its petty getting a B on assignments strictly because you forgot labels.
Makes you pay $20 for an assignment for no reason, NOT EVERYONE HAS $20 TO SPEND ON A POINTLESS ASSIGNMENT THAT DOESN'T REQUIRE YOU TO PAY TO USE ESPECIALLY IN A PANDEMIC!!!!! I had to dig up for that $20 just to use it for the lab! And guess what, she gave a bad grade on it at the end!!!! If you're reading this, stop charging students!!! Not cool!
Horrible teacher do not recommended anyone taking unless you like headaches, petty point tacker. Gives us random assignments for the Chance to take points away for stupid reasons. One of the worst teachers I have ever had.
I thought Professor U was awesome. She gives CLEAR instructions on what she will be grading you on. If you follow those instructions you will get an A, it's just that easy. If you DON'T follow those instructions you will get marked down for it. This is an IS class so being picky is appropriate. Follow her instructions and you'll ace the class.
Waste of tuition money. Assignments have no relation to the course material, they are just busy work that you pay for the privilege of doing. Posts hours long PowerPoint slides with voiceovers, then gives no guidance on how to study for the exam. Made the exams closed book and closed note in an online class and threatened failing grades. AVOID!
Lise is an excellent professor for all ISM/ITM courses. Everything is relatively clear in presentation and she communicates well with students. There was a straight forward group assignment in this class, though the grading criteria often was slightly unclear, it wasn't hard to do well. Overall, a solid and knowledgeable professor!
Professor Urbaczewski provides clear grading criteria that she expects to be followed to a tee. If you want an A in the class you can do it but you need to make sure that you read the grading rubric before submitting an assignment. You get one assignment per week and three exams throughout the semester. Easy A if you READ THE RUBRIC.
I dont usually rate professors but she was sooooooo GOD AWFUL. She gives you 1 minute a question which is impossible for paragraph formed questions. She marks you 10 points off the littlest thing and she doesnt care that the class average for her class was 50% just says its our problem she also said a sick child is no excuse. DO NOT TAKE HER!
I'm a student who takes classes serious study do homework with this class it was near impossible to get a good grade i would study do the hw projects and still didn't help her lectures and notes don't help with her exams tough grader avoid her at al cost
While I feel as if the tests are rather strict, overall, I enjoyed my time in the class, and she was generous at the end with some bonus credit due to our current circumstances. I appreciate how enthusiastic she was over the material, and caring for the students. Great experienced compared to most I've encountered so far at UMD.
Really dont recommend this professor. I got 100s on all her homework, but the exams ruined my grade. Theres 3 exams, each had 60 questions in 60 minutes. Some questions contain a lot of fluff. She had mercy towards the end and added points as a reward. Also, her quirky emails dont lighten the mood when your grade is plummeting.
Lise's class was not exactly a great time. Our three exams consisted of 60 questions in 60 minutes, so it was near impossible to get a great score. The homework was incredibly clear however, so following the rubric made most assignments an easy A. Often though, the homework had nothing to do with the theme of the class. Overall, a bit meh of a time
If you don't need this class NOT TAKE THIS CLASS
Since I took this class online I consider myself lucky. The class itself isn't the easiest, but her teaching ways could've been better. She deducts points VERY easily and for reasons that aren't just wrong format or spelling errors. Overall now that the class is over the material was NOT that difficult. Her tedious deductions WILL strain your grade
Grading criteria very clear. Everything is in syllabus for students to follow, very clear. She deducts points big time on homework. Her 3-ambiguous Exams will kill your grade. The exam questions are long, tedious, vague, obscure, and difficult to finish. Her ambiguity on exams will crush you. AVOID any class that she teaches. RUN FAST.
I wish I had listened to my gut about taking this class, rate my professor totally showed the lack of respect this professor has for students. She will critique every little thing on your homework and give you a test that the entire class was not prepared for. The class is simple but the professor is so judge mental she looks to give bad grades.
DO NOT take Mrs. Urbaczeski if you don't HAVE TO. Her most recent exam had an average score of 71%, and she then blamed it on our study habits. She also takes off points for the tiniest things. She clearly doesn't realize were a bunch of broke students who don't actually want to be in this class but need to take it to get into the COB. Wish me luck
I got straight As before taking her class, now Ive got a C and likely wont be able to transfer to Ann Arbor. But hey, she definitely has a positive impact on us right? Were forced to take this to get into the business school, but she doesnt care. Its almost like she doesnt want us to succeed. Constant complaining from her as well. Horrendous
Professor Urbaczewski is one of the best teachers I have had at UM-Dearborn. She cares about her students and the information is pretty straightforward. Her exams are just application of the material from slides/lectures. Pay attention, study, participate, ask questions, and do the review topics before the exams and you will be fine.
Exams/Class is to challenging for it to be a ISM course. You can come in with good intentions and realize the teacher is a waste. Not trying to help you advance but rather keep you back and make thing harder than they they need to be.
Not nice at all, very picky grader.. She doesn't help.. She doesn't like to discuss with you anything. Don't take her!
She does not teach properly. Homework assignments have nothing to do with the exams.
Tough grader, not much hw and 3 exams. Exams worded poorly Class averages were really low She gave a slight bump for a survey but no extra credit I would avoid if possible
I enjoyed having this professor and I respect her. I thought her material taught me a lot, though it was time consuming. The final exam was tough and when she has assignments, they are also time consuming. All around, solid class.
The homework for this class is easy, as long as you put enough detail and follow all the directions you will get a good grade. However, this won't save your grade. The exams are one of the hardest exams I have ever taken. I studied and made my own flashcards and answered the questions, but still couldn't get a good grade on the exams. No curves.
If I could give a 0/5 I would. You could say your dad died and she wont bat an eye nor care and instead suggest something like "you should have started it before he died either way" AVOID AT ALL COSTS Terrible lecturer, talks about family too much, no regard for others, demands respect but has no respect for others.
Nobody in the whole class got an A on any of the three exams. The hardest exams I have ever taken with averages in the 60's%.
Literally the worst professor I have ever taken.
Poor tests, average for class was in the 50s for all tests, no curve. Really bad professor, beware.
The exams are totally different from the material "taught" in class. She has no sympathy whatsoever and is the reason for many students ruined gpa's. She gives out extra credit for individuals who leave her a good review on surveys so that it does not seem like it is her fault that students are doing bad.
Gives a lecture at the beginning of class on how its ok to fail and retake courses which was a big red flag. Exams are difficult each one is 60 questions and 40% of grade, powerpoints are extraordinarily long and overwhelming. Don't make the same mistake as me and take ISM with this professor unless you want to fail, take it at another University.
Professor Urbaczewski made ISM 310 one of the hardest classes I've ever taken. You would think she's a Harvard professor. Do not hesitate to take ISM 310 with a different Professor.
worst teacher you'll every take. pure ruthlessness
The exams (3) were nearly impossible to succeed in, even with hours of studying. However, if you follow the basic grading criteria outlined for homework assignments and get good grades on those, you can practically fail the exam and pass the class with an A- or a B. Cares about students and is willing to give extra help if asked.
Waste of money and waste of time avoid this professor who thinks we got no life!
Read all assignment instructions THOROUGHLY before completing/submitting. If you don't follow the instructions to a T, she will NOT be generous in grading your assignment. Exams are very difficult if you don't spend the time going over lecture material/review questions. The problem is that she digresses a lot in lectures and it's hard skipping them
She's very difficult when comes to grading. Her exams are super hard.
AVOID AT ALL COSTS!! Do not hesitate to take ISM 310 with a different Professor. The assignments are time consuming plus she's a tough grader. She is the worst professor I have ever taken.
I think she is a caring lady but her exam are very mind tricky which is pretty frustrating so the exam grades are in the average 75%ish, her lectures are pretty straight forward and detailed. exams are 220 points each, 60 questions which is pretty intense so I dont shes a terrible professor. she has review questions before each exam
I didn't expect to love this professor so much. She's understanding and will not let you fail. She gave an extra credit assignment and extra points towards the end. Make sure to attend the lectures because you will actually learn. Exams are tricky so I suggest making flashcards out of the review questions. Assignments are easy but lengthy.
Lise is an excellent professor at UMD. Her class includes three exams, a few assignments, and extra credit. The material isn't hard but requires a lot of memorization. She's a great lecturer, highlighting key points and potential exam questions. She's supportive and always available to help, making the class manageable. Easy grader too!
Prepare to work hard - exams are brutally tough even with diligent studying. But with unstuckstudy and strategic homework, you can still do well and pass the class.
Do not hesitate to take under a different professor. She has a very ambiguous and extremely not user friendly way of asking questions. Exams are poorly written and the highest grade on the class final was a B-. She did mention she plans on rewriting all her exams and I hope she enrolls a stronger vetting process
Amazing Professor cares about her students learning the material. Provides us with the opportunity to put Salesforce on our resume. Exams are very hard so make sure to study weeks ahead of time. Complete all the chapter questions. Do not take the class if u do not study. Overall great Professor that you learn a lot from.
Shes a chiller fr. Good Professor just dont be lazy
I enjoyed this course; she is a very tough grader and exams are really difficult. I had to work hard to achieve the A- I received.
Honestly after reading all the reviews i believed that some have to biased and not true. After taking the first exam the reviews are true that her exams are genuinely the hardest exams i have ever taken at umd. Her lectures are very boring aswell.
This was a horrific class. Do not take if you can avoid it.
This was one of the most frustrating classes I've taken. Lectures were heavy and confusing, and grading was harsh. Even with effort, it often felt pointless. The workload was overwhelming, and expectations were unclear. I wouldn't recommend this class unless absolutely necessary.
Her exams were nothing like the PowerPoints, making it hard to prepare. The material didn't match the exam format, leaving me unprepared despite studying. I don't understand why the class was structured this way, making an already difficult subject even harder. If you can, avoid this course—it was one of my worst experiences
I would strongly advise against taking her class. She shows little concern for students' grades and behaves as if her course is the only priority, without considering that students have other responsibilities and commitments. It feels like she expects students to be available exclusively for her class. I don't Know how she's still teaching tbh.
Vey bad don't recommend her no matter what you do in the class you will still receive bad grade from her exams nothing like what you study
Absolutely the worst professor I've ever had. Teaching is confusing and unstructured. She accused students of using AI with no proof and changed exams to vague, oddly specific fill-in-the-blanks. No curve, no extra credit, and sets you up to fail. and she seems to take pride in failing students. Avoid this class at all costs!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I've never written a Rate My Professor review before, but I had to for this class. One of the most discouraging experiences I've had in college. She accused the whole class of using AI with no proof, set up Zooms just to quiz us, and replies to emails in a rude tone. The course feels designed to make you fail. Harsh, unhelpful, and exhausting. Run.
Worst experience at the university.
No matter how much you study, her tests are awful. She will ask you questions about examples of examples she made in her lectures and not the actual material. Listen to every single word and take note of even the most tiny, boring details such as information about her father or a product in a video that relates to a chart that relates to a table.
