(GRSJ 302) Litsa cares about her students and I learned a ton from this class and the required readings. Although she yelled a lot when lecturing (even though it was a small class) which made me uncomfortable and hurt my understanding. She is a hard grader (class had a 68% average) with the four papers, but there was no final exam.

Litsa is a passionate and loud lecturer and her lectures are influenced by radical leftism. She does assign many readings and I found the readings to be beneficial to my understanding. I did well in her course, earning a 100% on my term paper! She is a tough grader but her criteria is quite clear. I will def take a course with Litsa in the future!

A very passionate prof and if that works for you, that's great but if you have even a slightly opposing opinion, she doesn't really make you feel safe enough to express it. Incredibly reading heavy and marks super hard. also it feels like she's just yelling at you the entire semester. I left her class exhausted.

Avoid taking a class with this professor at all costs. Over half of the class failed the midterm in-class essay and the other half got As. Super frustrating as she claims she does not agree with assigning student worth to a number, yet has no shame in failing tons of students. Please learn from my mistake of ignoring her poor reviews, do not take!!

Lacks professionalism: Screams during class, doesn't create a safe environment for everyone to share their opinions during discussions. Failed me in the midterm exam and drew a doddle on it instead of writing feedback and a reason for failing me. Was surprised to have failed as I've gotten A's in the many other GRSJ classes I've taken. Never again

This is one of the worst instructors I have ever had in over decades of being in the post-secondary environment. She SCREAMS at the top of her lungs during classes and you feel like you're at a protest instead of in class. She will blame you for using ChatGPT without any evidence either if you're an advanced student with experience. Stay away.

This is a hard rating because she is very enthusiastic about her work but grades extremely hard. All her exams are based on memorization of articles and do not specify exactly which ones will be on the exams so if you don't have a photographic memory or even a good memory I suggest taking extra time to study or possibly not taking the course.

Litsa is a very kind and caring prof, therefore I believe she wants everyone to do well, yet it is hard to do well in her class. If you do not write the idea the exact way she want, you will do terribly in the class. You are better off saying the idea in her own words as if you say it in yours it will be deemed wrong.
