She is good teacher. She missed a lot of classes though. Very fair...maybe to a fault.

Yes she does miss alot of classes and is late almost everyday. It is easy to fall behind, but she is very helpful and has no problem staying after class to show you how to do things.

Awesome teacher, her notes are the best because you don't have to take any! She has already printed up worksheets which helps you keep up in class, you just have to work the problems out so you actually learn how to do it, instead of just copying off the board. Will go the extra mile to work with you, and cuts class short when she can.

Great teacher, Class is really easy, and she doesn't mind when you miss a lot of class because she does. For a teacher she's pretty hot too so it makes it a little easier to pay attention.

Definitely sweet, and gave me an A in her class when I had an 80...something. I was only 12 when I took her class, and she really helped me through it!

She is a very good instructor, tends to at a fast rate though and she types up her work sheet, so its easy to work in class. she is always late though but i will definitely recommend her to anyone.

She uses study guides for each chapter. This is the main teaching tool. You can use an old edition of the book. Homework is not required. She missed a lot of class. She allows up to 6 absences but I don't think she really cared. Kind of rushed through the later chapters due to her absences. She was helpful after class. She is really friendly.

Comes late to class every day, often cuts class short, does not care about homework, she goes very quickly so most of the learning is done through reading the book later. I loved how easy the class was then, but now it is coming back to bite me in Calculus, DON'T TAKE THIS TEACHER if you want to go on in math.

She is extremely helpful. This is my second semester of having litsa. I had to make sure i got her as a teacher again. :D She has a wonderful personality and is very personable to the students that need and are looking for her help.

Litsa was an extremely helpful teacher. When I did not recieve a good grade on my tests, I would go into her office hours and review the problems I missed with her. When I was done fixing my problems (and proved to her that I knew the material) she gave me an A!! on all my tests!!!! SHE IS THE BEST!

Now who said math is confusing and hard? Everything in this world is mathematics. Litsa is such a wonderful Professor for math course. Listen very careful as she teaches and you will get the grade you deserve. Fair and fun class! Highly recommend her as well.

If math is not your world and you just want to get through it she's a good teacher to have. She's very humane, easy on the eyes. The class was a pleasure, but yeah, stick with the homework drills if you want to remember the content for more than the pre test study phase. Was a pleasure tho.

I'm an international student who used to be major in Mechanical Engineering long long time ago... I hadn't studied mathematics like 8years..I forgot almost everything, so I was very nervous to take mathe class. However, Litsa was interesting instructor, she helped me salvage my old intellects about mathe, so I got A. In addition, she was flexible:)

Really cares about her students. Loves math. Passes out note packets for each chapter with the material and spaces to write examples done in class, so if you aren't good at note-taking you'll love it. Homework voluntary. Tells you EXACTLY what's going to be on the test and gives a practice test almost identical to the real thing, with an answer key

The Math angel from god. In my 120 class I had 3 different teachers before she took over and my grade was going south. She saved me! The best Math teacher I have ever had. I mean that and I suck at math. Incredibly nice and she cares about her students. Her final was pretty hard. But the tests are not difficult if you study the review guide. GREAT!

If you suck at math, she will get you through. Very easy to understand, very nice, and doesn't screw with you on tests. Gives pre typed notes and practice tests with answers, offers help in class and via email, if you can't make it in her class, you're not trying.

SHE IS SUPER AWESOMEEEE =) Best Math teacher I've ever had in my life. You have to try hard to fail her class because it is almost impossible =) you can always talk to her and ask for help. I guarantee you won't regret taking it if you actually care for your grades.

Fantastic instructor. Clear, concise notes, no need for a book unless you want it. Never used it and there really was no need for one. Her notes are that good. Practice tests and always willing to help out if you don't understand something. She lets you attend any of the classes she offers in your subject so is flexible on time.

This was my 2nd time taking this class due to a family issue. I was a little apprehensive about having to take this class again. I'm glad she was my instructor. She was very helpful and nice. Even provided a practice math final! I wish she was teaching MAT 121

Litsa is great! I am not good at math but I did well in her class. She really cares about your success in the class and she will do everything that she can so you can do well. Go to her office hours and you will naturally do better in the class. She gives you notes(no need for book) and her tests are very clear with no tricks. Take her class!

Such an amazing teacher. She explains things a million different ways until you understand. Very funny and makes math slightly enjoyable. Litsa is also VERY understanding and is always willing to work with you. She does absolutely everything she can to prepare you for tests(practice tests, advanced notice, ect). So glad I had her.

The BEST math teacher I've ever had. I tell everyone to take her class. I had her last semester and I'm in her 151 class now. It's hard to concentrate sometimes. She's freaking gorgeous!

To put it shortly, Litsa is nothing short of perfect. Having disliked math for the most of my life and failing, I was not thrilled for the class. That changed over time and I found a new love for the subject. I have recommended her to several people, and wished she taught the classes I'm in now. Beautiful person, beautiful woman, beautiful teacher.

The class was very hard I thought. The homework is very easy as the answers are in the book as well as how to do it but since tests are worth 60% of your grade you will find your grade can take a dramatic drop even if you've done all the homework! Grading tends to be unfair but as a teacher she is great! very helpful.

Great teacher! She is there for you when you need her! Amazing lecture ! And she is such an amazing teacher! Study hard and you will pass her class, get ready to do homework, because there is a ton of homework that you should do. The homework is only 10% which sucks! and the final is 20%, the other 70% is for tests.

She's really nice, explains well. She's late often and is very disorganized. Changed her mind often, including on the curriculum, homework and extra credit. Doesn't always answer e-mail. Doesn't always update grades (rarely does it). We didn't know what to think, we like her, but it was very stressful

If you had a tough time in Litsa's class (see below), I apologize but math is most definitely not your forte. If you could barely squeak by an algebra class and are now passing a watered down class that you wish was calculus, math.. is not your forte. I found her to be very helpful, extremely enthusiasti and yes, I agree, won't do the work for you.

Forgot to mention after the online class I signed up for 120 face to face. She said she loves TEACH and hates to GRADE. Get it right and stop slandering. She really wants people to succeed. Check your attitudes at the door and listen to what she tells you to do and stop wanting a grade without any effort. Smdh at some of these rude lies on here.

I have taken Litsa for MAT092 and MAT151. The review are true with her being unorganized yes. I liked her because we did not have to buy the online programs, Simple paper and pen homework. Most of the time she will do half of the homework as examples in class. Its so easy to get a good grade. Id take her again.

She doesnt give little to no homework, and she is very nice and caring about not handing in homework on time.

Litsa took a scary subject for me and gave me so much co fidence. Her lectures are great and she makes time for her students to get help. I love her style and will definitely take her as much as i can!

I disagree with the negative comments I've read. I don't know. Maybe she was going through a bad time or something. I find her very organized, clear in her lectures and on time if not early to class. We spend the entire 50 minutes learning material and going over example after example. My suggestion is to take her classes and see!

Mrs. Litsa is an amazing instructor! Ive always hated any type of math and have never been good at it! She turned that around for me! She is the definition of what an educator should be! Definitely take her class! She is awesome! Work is the usual but she is very receptive and understanding!

Professor St Amand is a beautiful soul who genuinely cares about her students and their success. She does whatever it takes to ensure you pass. She encourages you, her lectures are very thorough, she also makes sure everyone understands the material. As long as you show up to class you will pass. One of the best math classes I've taken.

I am in her live online class. She is always there early to answer questions. I have emailed late at night and without hesitatating she emails right back. She posts the notes we do in class so we can go over them at home if we missed something in class. I only wish we were face to face. Definitely recommend Litsa of you want a good teacher

On the other hand, she makes the test open notes and all of the tests are solely based on the curriculum she taught in class. HIGHLY recommend this amazing teacher!!

She's deaf so you don't need to unmute during class. The class is based on how well you are with math. She answers questions very well. Her classes are just premade notes that she goes over during class and gives all the answers. Just be careful you're paying attention because there are tests at the end of each chapter.

Shes super sweet and wants you to pass. All hw questions has videos on how to do it and she has low quiz questions that is easier than her hw. If you have questions she loves to answer them and wants you to pass.

Professor St Amand was by far the best teacher I have ever had. She definitely sets you up to succeed and is the sweetest person. She was always willing answer any of my questions before, during, and after class she answers emails quickly. Her notes are amazing, you just have to print them out and follow along in class to fill in the examples 10/10

She was always super responsive to any issues I've had online. I took her 'on your own time' class. She was very helpful, no txtbk since she had all the materials for us online. Tests were very straight forward and similar to assignments we had.

Took her live-online class which required a computer camera to attend classes. Participation during class is rewarded and attendance and note-taking are graded. She is a sweet individual who cares about her students. Keeping up can be hard at times but she provides you with everything you need to succeed.

I struggle with math a lot, but I'm glad I got this professor for many reasons. She provides clear and detailed notes (that you can use on tests & exams btw) or you can use a summary sheet of your own, holds office hours if you need extra help, gives extra points if you participate in class. I really think she really cares about student success.

I love her! This professor cares so much for her students and their success. You can use notes on tests and she had plenty of office hours if you're struggling. I had a hard time following notes occasionally but she does a great job explaining how to solve equations. Tests are always around 10 questions too which was nice.

I'm horrible at Math. She literally helped me pass this class because she really enjoys being a teacher and she is so caring, she responds very quickly and you can reach out with any questions.

This Professor was my favorite teacher so far in my school career. She is so sweet, will work out problems with you to give you a full understanding, and she makes silly jokes often. You can tell without a doubt she cares about every single student that she has and wants them to succeed. I wish I could have her for every class.

Professor St Amand made my class so fun and easy! She is very caring and gives positive and constructive feedback. Very quick to respond to emails. Her class was my first in a 7 year gap year, I was really nervous and hesitant to restart my academic path, but she made me feel encouraged and hopeful. Litsa goes above & beyond for her students. I never pass my math classes with anything above a C but thanks to her, I changed that & passed with a B! She made sure the tests were easy, especially the final. I do not like math at ALL, but I would take this class again 100%. She is a sweetheart. I recommend to everyone if you want someone who CARES.

I am so grateful that I took my MAT151 class with Litsa! I hadn't taken a math class in 18 years, and even then, math was never my strong suit. I was very nervous about my ability to pass this final required class for my degree, but Litsa is so caring, helpful, and sweet. She is always willing to provide extra support. I recommend her, hands down!

Even though she is deaf, she is such an amazing teacher. She gave lots of extra credit. The math part of the class was not so bad, only got a C because I was behind. If you do your work and ask all the questions you have, you will be good.She is such an amazing teacher! I would definitely take her class again. She even gave me student of the month.

Litsa was a super sweet professor! I had her for MAT141 online and loved her. She is deaf but communicates well with students. She really cares about you and wants you to do your best. She gives you all the notes you need, print them out & fill in the blanks. Tests are open note, you can skip the final if you have an A. I would 100% take her again

Took MAT187 and ofc its not going to be a fun class considering how much material is needed to be learned but Amand was not a crazy grader which is always nice and was overall a good class to take with her! Class usually was a weekly check in and a 2-3ish HW assignments due at the end of week, so not bad!
