I learned more in my five weeks with her than I've learned in my entire schooling career. She makes the seemingly dull incredibly interesting. Definitely recommend.

She is the best professor I have had so far throughout the classes I've taken! She loves History and you can definitely tell while she is teaching. Show up, take note and study for your test and you should definitely get an easy A! You have to write papers but you choose what you want to write about and she is straight forward about what she wants

I took this class as a Maymester class, it was fast paced but she gave reviews, and when I e-mailed her for help she was very responsive and gave excellent feedback to help me pass the class. Her reviews were lifesavers.

I took her online US History 1301 during Summer I. She had a test each week but gave good reviews and all the notes to answer the review questions. I decided to wing it and NOT buy the book and still made an A. We had one research paper that had to be written over anything covered throughout all the material. It wasn't bad at all. Great Teacher

She is an amazing teacher. She made history fun, she brings things to class. Do not expect a ton of homework, she really loves and knows what she is talking about. Will help you if you ask. Would take again. Took 1301 and 1302 made an A in both.

Professor Endsley clearly has a passion for what she does. She draws you into her lectures and keeps you engaged while encouraging class discussions. She really cares about her students too and goes the extra mile to help them if need be. I would take her again if I could!!!!!!

Liz is a great teacher and you can tell she has the desire the for her students to succeed. She is passionate about history which makes lectures super interesting even for those who don't really care for it. Show up to class, she will occasionally give EC just for showing up. Take note of slides, they are tested on. Wish I could take another class!

if you don't show up to class you will not pass lots of PowerPoint doesn't spend a lot of time on each slide I took pictures of the slides and took notes over the lecture she gave at the same time

Quizzes every two weeks

So I don't know why the previous student gave her an adverage becaeuse shes awesome!!! I learned so much from her and she really brought history to life for me. She was easy to listen to and easy to learn from. Plus she seems to really wants to see her students succeed so she's a great professor to have and very attentive outside the classroom.

Great teacher and good lectures but you cant skip class!! Attendance is important!! Not many tests.. a few papers.. and quizzes are easy if you take notes in class.

Took as Winter Mini, didn't need the book. Print out power points provided for notes, quizzes straight from those. 3-4pg paper due over any topic relative to what was covered during semester. Received an A & honestly didn't put in a ton of effort.

I took her for the mini too and while it was tough and there was a lot of work.....I found the reviews helpful and did decently on all my quizzes and tests. There is a ton of work but it is a three week course so that's to be expected. She was very willing to help me and work with me when I needed help and will take her again.

Miss Endsley is a great teacher! She makes learning the material fun, which makes it easier to retain. But I made the mistake of taking this course during the summer and that was a huge mistake! She makes you work for every grade that you get, and she is a big essay fan. I had 2 quizzes a week covering 3 chapters. One is 50 ?'s, the other 4 essays.

She is awesome! Her lectures make history come alive and I learned more in her one course than in all of high school. She really cares about her students succeeding in her class but also expects you to be adults and responsible about your work. You do need the book and you do need to go to class. Take her for every history that you can!

She makes the class entertaining, you can tell she enjoys teaching history. The class is not too difficult. Some bookwork is required but not too much. Your study material will mainly come from notes taken during class. You can retake one test per semester, excluding the final of course.

Okay is the previous student crazy or lazy! She gives you an entire week to study for an exam and a review. How long do you need? She does do what she says she will do and she very much cares about her students. her lectures are great and she is very passionate about what she does. I have so much this semester and she is Wonderful! Take her!

My friend and I are rating her at the same time because our jaws dropped when we saw the previous post. She is amazing, she makes class great, and she really puts a lot of effort into making history come alive for her students. Plus she is one of the coolest professors I have ever had and you have plenty of time to study for a test! Love her!

A student gave her an awful and their only complaint was they has a problem when she handed out a review? How many professors don't even give out a review! Check your priorities. I had the worst year of my life and Ms. Endsley not only took the time to check in on me on a regular basis but has worked with me and made it possible for me to be graduating on time. Everyone complaining blows my mind and obviously none of them communicate with her.. shes the most caring compassionate professor and the childness is just pathetic

Ms. Endsley is one of the best professors you could have in college. She is very sweet, and will do anything in her power to help you if you try to help yourself. DONT cry about not getting the PowerPoints, because she will give them to you if you show up to class and actually take notes.

To all of those who are reading bashing comments, ignore them, Ms. Endsley is one of the best Professor I ever had. As long as you keep in contact, attend class, and take notes you should be awesome. Also side note if you do these things and miss something she will email her PowerPoints and gives extra credit if you bring Diet Coke!

Im not a history lover but I love her class. She does have a very strong personality! Her tests are mostly multiple choice with a 1 page essay and some at home quizzes but they arent hard as long as you do your review homework! Its easier to print the review out and fill out what you can in class as she goes. Your book is very much needed!!

The tests are based off the reviews she posts, so you must read the book to find what you need to study. Some tests are proctered, the final is not. Quizzes and 2 tests are taken at home. 1 long essay is due at the end. She let me make up a missed assignment at the end of the sesmter. Responds very quickly to emails and is very forgiving. 10/10.

Ms. Endsley is an AMAZING instructor and one of the best professors I have ever had. She loves history and it is very apparent in her lectures. She gives extra credit for attending class and gives you a study guide for every test. She definitely wants to help you succeed. If you dont like taking notes this class isnt for you though!

Holy crap! Bitter much? I don't know who posted the review blasting her but she has done nothing but work with me and many of my friends and will always give the rest of the lecture if you are in class and participating! I know several people who have been given extensions and she has worked with and she is my favorite professor I have ever had!

I have a medical issue and have had to miss a bunch of class this semester and she has worked with me all semester! I had to drop my other classes but she helped me tremendously She very much will work with her students and wants them to succeed. The review below is shocking and do not believe it. Just took her for a mini course and she was great! When I emailed her she got back to me very quickly usually in an hour or two which was refreshing and she was always super sweet. Lots of reading and lots of work but very clear on expectations. There was reading but also videos posted that helped make things come to life more. I'd take her again.

I am in the class listed below and I highly disagree. The email statement was referring to a problem with the student email at WC. I was having a problem...I called they fixed it and all was well. Her class is very well structured with videos, power points, and REVIEWS!! She was also very kind and helped me with a testing issue.

I took her for Summer 1 and never in my life did I have a harder time in my personal life. I was going to drop the class but Professor Endsley was so patient and so willing to help me succeed by giving me every chance to complete her class. She has an clear and easy set up and is great at getting back to her students. I would so take her again!

I have taken her all summer for both 1301 and 1302 in a hybrid class. Never have I ever had a more caring and helpful teacher. She made us all feel like a family and gave people chance after chance to complete the work. If you cannot succeed in her class lets just say it's not her. Amazing teacher.

I just finished taking prof Endsley for summer 1 & 2 both 1301-1302. The courses were great and I highly suggest her. Her lectures are awesome and the grading criteria is completely in your hands in regards to your grade. Read, showup, be respectful and you will receive and A. (Ps dont be on your phones) shes great and here to truly help you.

I was in her online class for Summer 2. She was always telling us how proud she was of us and being really encouraging. Everything was laid out clearly and she sent out reminders constantly on assignments. Very sincere and makes you feel like she wants your to do well. Videos posted were really helpful too. I liked her a LOT.

Hands down the best, most relatable, kindest, and amazing Professor I have ever had. I highly disagree with all the negative reviews! Endsley makes history really fun! You learn about the story of people and things and she keeps you attention the whole time. Plus she is really good about getting back to people and grading her assignments quickly so you know what your grades are. Lots of work sometimes but is hard not to like her classes!

Prof Endsley was already my favorite professor before we hit this "new normal" and we all went online for the rest of this semester. Before going online she was already caring, fun, and my favorite class. After going online she has continued to be supportive and help us through it and even takes the time to record full lectures for us! love her!

Endsley made the transition to online easier than my other teachers. Was always keeping in touch and updated us constantly on assignments and every issue. Recorded lectures for us and posted them for viewing so for those of us who needed to hear lectures instead of just read the book we could. Lots of cool videos too! Really puts effort into class

Truthfully I could've made an A but I felt like I wasn't actually taking a course because it's so laid back. She's so chill and understanding. Her test, quizzes, and article assignments are so easy it's unreal. 10/10 RECOMMEND

She's a good lecturer, tests are kind of tricky on wording sometimes but overall a good professor, not a difficult class. Pay attention to lectures, take notes, show up to class.

I liked the online condensed course (8 weeks), she can be hard to get a hold of, but the class is pretty self explanatory. She reached out to us almost weekly to make sure we were on track, which was nice. There were not "homework" assignments for the class I took, just quizzes, tests, one writing assignment, and a final. I enjoyed the format of it

Im sorry the last review just made me mad. You have book quizzes where you Have to read the BOOK! And if you are expecting to skate by with Quizlet you shouldnt be leaving reviews. Shes awesome and you learn a lot. You need to do the work and use the reviews snd not expect to skate by. This is college for crying out loud.

I agree I my jaw hit the floor when I saw the review below. Thats completely misleading and not fair to a good teacher. You get reviews fir Everything and its always clear whats expected. I agree as well. Professor Endsley was always accessible to me and got back to me very quickly. She worked with me during a very difficult situation was always incredibly positive. She does talk fast but lots of information has to be covered and her personal notes are available to you if you try to do the work. Lots of extra credit opportunity.

Word is spreading about the awful review posted about our professor that is not fair. I will be the first to say that I Had the worst semester of my entire life I missed a ton of work. But Professor Endsley met me with nothing but grace. she is great And so worth taking.

I LOVED Professor Endsley. She made our whole class feel so comfortable and like we were friends and it was easy to tell that she cared about us. As an online student I needed flexibility and her online class provided that for me. Professor Endsley is clear about when assignments are due and gives you plenty of time to study and prepare. She didn't bury us in nightly homework, which I appreciated, as I had a heavy fulltime class load. I would absolutely recommend her class!

She was great. Answers emails fast, study guides are fair and as long as you put in the work you'll be set! Not sure what that person below was on about, I'm sure they slacked and then thought they could get away with not doing anything until the end of the semester.

The review below is SHOCKING and taken out of context. This is jut a student looking to bash her for some reason that makes no sense. All of her assignments are clearly specified and laid out for you with clear direction and reminders, and gives reviews for everything. The only way to not understand them is to not come to class. The person who left the crazy review below is the high schooler. That review makes no sense. You are expected work in her class and not sleep. That's pretty standard in a college class. And there is no yelling ever. She also will 100% work with you and if you miss an assignment she will allow you to always make up one 0 for full credit.

I unfortunately know who left the emails about her being a high school teacher and its unfortunate. When you do not come to class for the majority of the semester and don't turn in work on time you tend to bash a great professor who doesn't just let you skate by. Took her for an online class and enjoyed it. You do not have weekly homework like in a lot of other online classes. There are like only 8 or 9 assignments in the semester which is nice. I agree....when people bash great professors its infuriating. The only person who would be brazen enough to post that post is someone who missed out on her crazy lectures that were so cool and covered everything on the topic. My favorite professor all semester! She has amazing lectures and teaches in a way that makes history stick. More than once I was sad when class was over. She is a really easy grader on papers if you follow the instructions and offers a ton of extra credit! If you don't come to class though you miss a lot of info so make sure to go to class.

Never in my life have I had a professor be more honest with me. I had an awful spring semester and was struggling and she was kind, helped me, let me turn in late work, and was there for me. She also would check in on me and make me fee better. I have never had that. those posting hateful reviews about her, she is not the problem. just sayin

Personally, I have found it hard to figure out an effective study routine, this being said, that part is my own concern. She is very clear in her instructions and is quick to respond to emails if you ask questions. I am currently taking Summer 1 and I would definitely recommend taking at least an 8-week course, it is A LOT of information.
