If you want to learn, she will help you all you need. However, you are considered an adult and are free to fail.

Wilfong is a good teacher. Although some days she comes to class ill with an attitude and is sarcastic about things but she comes to class prepared for what she is going to teach that day. She is very clear about what she wants you to do in your essays but sometimes it's a little too much. Overall she's a good professor.

I thought Wilfong was a very good teacher. She started out small with reviews then added on from then. Very helpful and new what she was doing

She is good teaching but if you try to talk to her after class or ask a question, she tends to have an attitude. She is a big global warming goro, if she has examples it's always about global warming.

Mrs. Wilfong is awesome! Her passion for literature is enviable, is very clear, great sense of humor, and very nice. The only people who had a problem with her in my class were those who would joke around or make stupid comments during class discussion, hence her not being nice to them. :) (she's also very good looking)

Ms. Wilfong is a wonderful teacher. I enjoy her ability to keep her classroom under control. If more teachers taught like this, the learning enviroment at schools would be much better! And yes, she is a very attractive young lady.

mostly uses power point for us to take notes and doesn't provide any practice test.her test are very hard because she relies too much on you learning from the book.the book is somewhat confusing and not very self explainetary for people who do not read a lot.

Ms. Wilfong has an undeniable love for the subject matter that she teaches! I am not a fan of English classes. However, if I am required to take ENG 102 it will be with her. There is no question who is in charge in her class room. She is a great teacher if you want to learn.

This professor is AWESOME. Although the course was certainly difficult & there was a lot of reading and work involved & expected I have rarely had the opportunity to enjoy my education as much as I did in her World Lit course. Class discussions were intense & interesting. She is a hardworking & one of my favorite professors. For serious students.

Ms. Wilfong is a very good teacher with a great sense of humor. If english is a subject that is naturally very easy for you, I would definitely recommend her.

If you do the work that Ms. Wilfong lays before you, you will pass her class with an A. Tons of work, but overall a very educational experience. She's kinda sexy too :D

Ms. Wilfong is awesome! Every day she makes her students laugh and keeps her classes entertaining. The assignments she gives are fun and she is very fair with her grading if you try your hardest. I liked her so much I'm taking her for 102! I highly recommend her!!

This professor is young and somewhat unexperienced, but her enthusiasm is evident. She is very clear with her expectations and assignments, and you will do well if you follow her instructions. I strongly recommend her- plus she's really cute and quirky with a great sense of humor.

Excellent teacher! I made it through okay without the book, but it was tough (not recommended!). She uses the school's resources (labs) often and makes Eng101 fun! aaand... she's quite attractive too!

Great teacher who clearly has herself well organised. Very energetic and involved. I liked her use of pop-culture references as learning aids and to keep the class interested. Her 101 class is well developed and is perfect for auditory learners. Take detailed notes and every quiz is easy. Lots of group work and quizzes.

Although Ms. Wilfong made this a fun class, she still expects her students to work and earn their grades. She is a gifted teacher whom I highly recommend.

Ms. Wilfong is a great teacher. She expects the most of her sudents because she knows they can succeed and will push them until they give it their best. She can seem mean at times but it's only because she knows you can do better. Overall she is a great teacher with real passion.

Ms Wilfong is probably one of the best instructors I've had at Greenville Tech. She demands a lot out of her students which is what every instructor should since it is college. She's very energetic and passionate about her job and is very helpful if you need extra help. I'd recommend her any day if you're willing to do the work.

Wilfong is a great instructor. She sets the bar high BC she knows we can do it. She is funny and keeps your attention.Her energy is always on a thousand.If you do what your supposed to she will work w you.Her lectures are clear and easy to follow. She also will meet w you to go over essay assignments And answer any questions you have.

Overall she is a good teacher. She's very clear in what she wants and what she doesn't want. She's willing to help guide you but she will not give you answers. She's a really cool person and she makes learning the material relatively easy. Just don't get on her bad side and make sure you are on time to class. She HATES it when you're late.

Miss Wilfong is an excellent English teacher. She will tell you exactly what she will and will not accept. When she says don't be late... don't. There's a lot of reading and writing (obviously), but if you work hard and get help, you will come out just fine. If you don't understand, ask her. She will help you if you ask!

Had Miss Wilfong for ENG 102 and ENG 201..unstoppable she is high energy and loves the material she teaches. Very helpful when you ask her go to class group activities help get you through the less appealing centuries of literature...shine on Miss Wilfong you're the best!!!

Professor Wilfong is a great English teacher. You will write many essays and papers on BlackBoard, so it is a challenging course. You also need to be one time for each class.

Ms. Wilfong is a great professor. She is somewhat picky on grading papers but if you go and ask her for help, she will help you any way she can. All she wants is for you to put in the effort. She requires a lot but if you put forth the effort and go to her when you need help, you will do just fine. Highly recommended.

I took Wilfong for ENG101 and at first I thought I was going to fail the course, because I never had a teacher that's challenged me before. Ms. Wilfong is a fantastic, energetic teacher and all she wants is for her students to try her best. If you do the extra credit, turn in all your work and ask for help you will pass.

Help? Forget it. All you will receive is sarcasm along the bridges of, "you should have paid attention." You will hear many stories of her brother, her boyfriend, and her farm. If there is a debate, stay quiet. Anything you say can and will be used against you. Also, be prepared to be singled out and rude to. If you take her class, YOURE ON UR OWN.

Professor Wilfong is amazing !! DO NOT PACK UP EARLY !! she hates it when students do that. Prof. Wilfong is also extremely helpful so don't be afraid to ask for help.

Professor Wilfong is quite passionate about English, and although a quality professor, sometimes forgets that there are other classes at GTC. Her assignments are fair, but her teaching style can be a bit overwhelming and intense. She is a fair grader, but like I said, she definitely wants students to place her class above the rest.

Great teacher, and very energetic (which really helps during morning classes). If you want to do well, go to class, pay attention, and be respectful.

She is rude when you ask for help on essays. There is a reading quiz everyday, there are 5 time consuming discussion boards and essays (Hamlet essay, poetry research paper, etc) She calls on everyone to read Hamlet out loud. There is constant group work but not projects. LOTS of reading. She calls you out if you get up to use the bathroom or leave.

Great teacher, one that makes English interesting, I can say that because I've always disliked English. As long as you show up to class and do the work that is assigned, you won't have a problem. Plus, she's very energetic and has a great teacher style. Got an A in the class and I haven't been in a English class for over the past 2 years

She is definitely an entertaining, energetic teacher, but don't expect an easy A. She will challenge you when it comes to papers. Also, during class, you will have work together as groups many times, so if this is something you dread, you have been warned. However, I highly enjoyed her class, and would take it again in a heartbeat.

Ms Wilfong is very energetic and gets too excited when we read anything in class which is kind of annoying. Shes very hard on grading papers and if she even senses that there's any plagiarism you will get a zero!! get ready to read everyday and there's a pop quiz to make sure that you read and get ready to do a discussion board every week!

You get what you put in. She is a tough grader but if you put in the time on your assignments, show up everyday and ask for help when you need it you'll do great. Loved her.

The best English teacher if you actually want to learn. She won't give you anything, but she will help you learn anything.

English isn't my best subject, but I maintained a decent grade and got a lot of helpful feedback from her. She was very patient, nice, and understanding. She offered to give me an extension due to personal reasons, so don't think she's as strict as people make her out to be.

Really cool teacher. If you enter this class willing to learn and do the readings its honestly not bad. Make sure to be forming your opinions and taking notes while reading because theres a project and essay at the end of the semester.

I loooooved her class, which I took at the honors level. I found Wilfong to be straightforward and funny in her lectures. The class discussions were great, and so was the reading material from the book. I learned a lot, but it wasn't a class that stressed me out too much. Extra credit for going to the writing center for each paper.

She is very helpful. You should take her class if you can.

Pretty caring professor - she seemed to enjoy what she taught. ENG230 was a pretty easy class. If you participate and put in moderate effort, you will get an A.

I took Prof. Wilfong Honors English 102. I ended the semester with an 98%. She is a very good professor; she gives good feedback and sets clear expectations. There are a lot of pop quizzes that are based on the assigned readings, but if you finish the readings then the quizzes are an easy A. Definitely recommend her!

I loved Prof. Wilfong! I was wary going into the class, because of the negative comments on here. However, she was absolutely amazing! Go to her office hours and discuss your essays with her before submitting them. I did that and went to the Writing Center for extra credit. I went from a 90 on the first essay to a 102 on the last two essays!!

I had Professor Wilfong for honors English 102 and she was a great teacher! She was funny and speaks her mind, but does so respectfully. She does give pop quizzes on the reading but theyre not hard as long as you do the reading. She also offers extra credit on essays if you go to the writing center. Would definitely recommend her!!

Prof. Wilfong is definitely one of the best professors I've ever had. When she lectures, you know she is passionate about her subject. She keeps the whole class entertained by her bubbly personality, I don't see how anyone could complain. I wouldn't consider the class hard but your grade is based on how much effort you put in. Professor Wilfong is a gem to have for literature! The pieces chosen to go with the assignments was intriguing and fun! Be prepared to write decent sized essays but! If you need feedback on any assignments and essays, she is there to help you 100% one on one until you understand <3 Definitely snag this professor for any English Literature classes!

I took prof Wilfong's maymester section. It was super fast-paced and demanding but she was super helpful and responsive. Her class was really well organized and easy to follow. She's super nice. Pay attention to the schedule and you'll do fine. Do the readings with the intention of finding your essay topics.

Professor Wilfong impressed me in a previous Eng course that I looked forward to taking her again for a literature course and just as before, she mindblown me with how amazing her knowledge in the field is again! Fun, interactive, creative, knowledgeable, and overall, a joy! Don't let your chance slip of this fine gem of a Eng professor!

Professor Wilfong is a fantastic Professor. If you are willing, you can learn a lot from her class. In her lectures, she discusses the question for the test, and she goes over example essays. English is my least favorite subject, but she made it fun. She is always willing to help. Grammarly is a great program for any English class.

Lectures were the best I have ever seen, she is very nice. Professor Wilfong is by far the best professor I have ever had. She gives incredible feedback on essay's to get a 100. She graded very easily and she was very helpful when it came to our one and only lit terms test. Just do the reading and put in the work, and this class will be an easy A

Her online lectures were refreshingly entertaining--sometimes a good laugh. No more than 3 papers, 1-2 DBS weekly, and a good chunk of reading--keep up! She was nice about my accommodations, personally (full term class). She was the only ENG prof who makes video feedback! She wants to know you and give you creative liberty. She's a critical thinker

Overall, an amazing professor! Her class is very easy and most of the content is reused from Eng 101. The essays can be pretty challenging, but as long as you cite correctly and read her feedback, you'll do great. Some grades though can easily drop your average, so be aware to read carefully over minor grade quizzes.

Professor Wilfong spends energy and effort on each student. She has clear guidelines at the beginning of the semester; if you follow them, you will do well. Pay attention to the discussion board's dates! She has found that more due dates = more participation which is better than radio silence on the boards. Her feedback is phenomenal! Take heed :)

She is a GREAT professor. The expectations were super clear. Half a book and flipgrid video one week, other half and discussion board the next week. The books for the class were great and she is a super easy grader. I would definitely recommend her and this class.

Wilfong was a great teacher and you can tell she truly cares for you as a student. She gives great feedback for any assignment, responds to emails, etc. Be sure to pay attention to due dates as well as the feedback because you mainly can only receive 3 different grades which is 100 75 or 0. Great experience for English 102 though !!!

I loved Professor Wilfong. I had a lot going on personally this semester and she helped me out a lot. I didn't do as well in her class as I wanted to, but if I didn't have so much going on, I think I would have made an A easily. You will have assignments due on random days of the week. Not just Sunday. And yes, it's a lot but it's not hard.

I really enjoyed having Prof. Wilfong as a professor because she provided a lot of helpful context to help you get your work done. I liked how she cared for me as a student; I could easily reach out to her if I were experiencing personal issues.
