Wow, easiest class ever, he gives you the test and walks out of the room!! Everyone should get an A, he's very helpful, and very nice too, his jokes are sometimes are corny but he's great. Everyone SHOULD get an A!!!

This is the best & easiest teacher you can have. Especially for a course such as accounting. He's pretty helpful, and he makes things pretty clear. He provides alot of examples relating to every day stuff we go through.

This is one of the Easiest teacher. He is very funny, and he teaches well. He makes the class very exciting, and he passes everybody. You have to take this teacher if you taking accounting. I was a business major before taking Prof. Carroll's intro accounting class. The class was fun and interesting and he made it clear that accounting is a great field for getting a good paying job. I switched my major to accounting.

Prof. Carroll is one of the best. I don't know how anyone can write that he skipped classes since he was never absent, was punctual and ended right on schedule. I am a business major but I may switch to Accounting because that is where the money is. I also may switch so I that I can take his ACC 340 (taxation) class this summer. They say its great!

I had Prof. Carroll this past summer and he was terrific. He started class five minutes late because it was an 8AM class and he wanted to give us a little extra time. He made the course fun and he certainly cared that we did well. Yes, he does try to push Accounting hard because he wants to see us do well financially after we graduate.

Prof. Carroll makes what should be a dull class rather interesting. He has a great sense of humor. One needs a litte standup comedy in he old of debits and credits. I highly recommend him.

For taxation, Prof Carroll is pretty good and knowledgeable about the subject. The only thing I didn't like was that he only gave 1 exam that practically had everything that we covered for 6 week in summer session 1 of 2007. Other than that, hes very good. lowest grade he gives is B-.

Professor Carroll is a funny guy, not only just my advisor for my classes, but really knows what he teaches. Those that say that he doesn't teach accounting very well probably got bad grades from him. Other than that, take this guy if u want a good grade.

The best way to take Prof.Carroll's class is to read each chapter before going to class. Do homework!! He has a very easy and enjoyable method of teaching accounting. I'm looking forward to working with him again on ACC222

Prof. Carroll makes Accounting fun. He does believe in "quality time" in that he doesn't waste your time with meaningless exercises and dragged out lectures. He cuts to the chase. You have to read the chapters and stay up with his lectures. I will definitely take him for ACC222

I had Prof. Carroll for Federal Taxation in Summer 08. The final exam is the only test for the class and it's open book and notes. He's an excellent instructor who gives only B- as his lowest grade. However, he's strict in awarding solid A grades. The best advice to earn an A with Professor Carroll is to BUY the textbook!!

Prof. Carroll creates a fun, energetic atmosphere that I found quite helpful in learning what is often very dry material. I got a lot out of his class. He makes no secret of what will be, and won't be, on his exams. I have a feeling that the negative comments for him are from those who didn't do well. Hey it is their own fault.

Prof. Carroll is the best at combining learning and fun. Anyone who said that they did not learn anything in his class is either a liar or a loser. From payrolls to cash flow, we did it all in his class. It was a lot of work but very worthwhile. I wish that he taught Intermediate Accounting.

Prof. Carroll's lectures are lively. He tells you exactly what is going to be on the exam and every problem is based on homework he assigned and went over. No surprises. This course is a bit more technical than ACC 122. If you get a low grade from him then you have two choices; either look at yourself in the mirror or whine on this website!

Prof. Carroll covered a lot of material: depreciation, partnerships. corporations, cash flow, you name it. He has a fun, lively way of lecturing and always carefully goes over homework. I am really glad that I took his course. He also likes to talk about the "real world" and how what we learn in his class has value. Highly recommended!

your gona luv him. hear me out, i got 40 on the 1st exam 80 on the 2nd exam and 100 on the last exam and did the 1 page paper. i got an A. all you hav to do is seat next to a smart kid. his exams are easy. he gives exactly what he says will come on the exam.

BEST ACC TEACHER IN BMCC. Tests are fair, not much hw and is a very fair grader but does go through the information quickly.

His subject is quite tough, but Professor himself is a very nice guy. He makes some scornful jokes, but he is still very kind and makes his class pretty fun. Professor Carroll's class is easy to pass, you just have to study for the quizzes to show him that you understand the work. He'll help if you don't understand. I don't get why people put that his lectures are long because we stayed in class full-time for like a week then he started to breeze through working letting up leave early.

So right off the bat, If you take his acc 122 class, he will tell you that you need to take his acc 222 class as well. If you are an Accounting student.. DO IT. trust me, it'll go well for you.. He gives three exams,( plus a mandatory exam given by the school, but by the time you see this exam, you'll know all you need to know)

took both acc122 and 222 with him. He tries to keep the class fun. If you can't take a joke, don't join his class. His tests are definitely tough, but if you pay attention in class and study at home from the text book, you should be fine. If you don't understand something. ASK HIM FOR HELP. The best professor at Bmcc hands down. He gives enough tools and chances for you to pass his class. I was late to class almost everyday but he still gave me a B because of test and participation. as long as you show up to class and he sees that you are trying he will give you a decent grade. Same for the test, if you can't go that day, just let him know, you gonna do it the day after (at his time). He is a professor with a good heart. He remember the name of each one.

Prof.C is the best ! hes super funny & he expects participation. His lectures are pretty spot on. taking notes helps. You can reach him via Email & he always answers. He's very understanding. Tests are honestly easy if you understand the material. The subject overall is pretty confusing in the start but thats because accounting overall is hard lol.

Accounting can be a little confusing at the beginning, but Prof.Carroll makes it easier for us to understand. Professor is understanding and never miss class he loves to treat his students as his own and make us laugh he is a professor that will educate you and take his time for you to understand what he is teaching also attendance is only mandatory for midterms and exams .
