mr Lloyd is very good at his job because of his vast experience in various branches of politics. he is the kind of professor who gives a second chance (like if your paper is late) and he is FUNNY and has many stories just to break the tension but does not waste class time. I would recommend him because he's not hard at all. He tells you from the beginning what he expects but he also makes the class fun. He does side a bit on the right wing but lets you make your own decisions from facts. Lets you turn in stuff late and adds 5 points at the end of your grade if you have 100%attendance.

i love hims cause my E is bad, i can not listen good , i'm inter student. Seriously an easy and fun class. Did it during summer and it was a breeze. He tells you the questions on the test, give 5 pts to the avg for attendance, and 10 pts for a easy news report. Made the class easy and interesting. Definitely suggest for govt 2301/2302

He's a great teacher, he talks a lot , he loves talking. If you participate your grade will be even higher but his class is extremely easy. He's very helpful , very funny and rarely ever boring. He gives you chances to get things in. I strongly suggest him to anyone...i hate government and politics but his class was one of my favs.

I hate Government, i hardly remember anything from the chapters we went over, but this was my favorite class. He loves to talk but he's very entertaining so its not that big of a deal. He's the best prof Ive had at HCC. He really likes to see his students do well. It's nearly impossible to fail his course unless you just don't go at all.

You have to try to fail in order to actually fail. Warning: If you are afraid of public speaking, this is not the class for you (unless you want to overcome your fear)

Mr. Gaddis sure does know how to wake up a class in the morning. He is never dull, and he gives you MANY chances to do missing work. Only complaint i have is that he sometimes starts sounding like a fox news (ugh) poster boy, but he at least never shuts you out and is open to different opinions (he actually encourages healthy debate)Overall Great!

Easiest professor ever . he gives out all the questions to the exams and even helps you on the test day . Gives a lot of home work and a presentation(news) but just do the work and study the questions he gives out before the exam. No one gets lower than a C. I got an A in the 5 week summer 1 class

This teacher is a very Good Teacher although he gives a lot of work but it is well worth it and it pays off in the long run. I will definately be taking his class again next semester for the second Government class.

This prof made govt interesting! 3 tests including the final, 2 essays, new presentation, and homework assignments out of the book. You have to get up & speak in front of the class a hand full of times, but it's not too bad. Geat reviews and gives points back on unclearconfusing test questions. 5 extra points for attendance. All he wants for you is to pass and to understand gov. I took him for a summer class and there was a TON of hw but I'm glad he gave it because it definitely helped with the tests and my understanding of government. I literally copy & pasted random things from google and made 100s. 3 tests in which you can easily cheat. no midterm & no final. Prof Gaddis likes to hear himself talk about his life experiences. LOL. However he is a super easy grader. If you can stand his lectures where he constantly gets off topic, then I would suggest this class for an easy A. I asked once how he graded an essay, he said "if you hand it in you get an A, if not you fail"

Easiest A I have ever received. I regretted not taking him for Federal Government. If you need to increase your GPA this professor is a life savor. He might seem a bit aggressive when you meet him, but at the end of the day all he wants is for his students to succeed. You can also easily bs on your papers because they are mainly for completions.

Great teacher who really cares about his students and wants to make sure they get life experience rather than just book learning. His stories are entertaining and make coming to class enjoyable. Great influence! When he teaches government, he's clear and has a sense of humor. Professor Gaddis occasionally mentions about his times in the military, and the steps he made when he aced college. He inspires students to be disciplined and hardworking.

I definitely recommend working with the entire class on homework, share numbers in a group message or a mass email.. whatever you have to do to pass, because it is A LOT! I absolutely adore him and although he was easy I can honestly say I learned more in his one class than I have my entire high school and college career. He keeps you laughing and interested. When I signed up for this class during the summer, I had no idea this professor would be one of the best professors I've ever had. He is direct in his assignments, understanding, and a great teacher. Attendance is a must! If you just try, you will get an A or a B.

He's a great teacher, but I don't recommend if you're taking more than 4 classes. He give a lot of assignments, ch questions, essays. He'll make you present in front of class, but you'll get used to it. All he wants is for you to pass, so if you do all his assignment you'll get a fair grade. Tests are a bit hard unless you read the book thoroughly.

Controversial & opinionated but fair in his grading. Complete all assignment and you will get an A/B. The only way you would receive less than that is if you don't show up to class.

He is really straight forward with what's due. At the beginning of the semester, he told us we had to do two essays, three chapter reviews/ tests, explain our assigned chapters to the class and present. He is very conservative and repeats story's about his life but is a pretty easy going fun professor. He also gives extra credit for attendance.

He is one of the best professors out there. At the beginning of the semester, he gives you what you need to do. You will do presentations for the chapter section he assignes you. You can easily pass this class with an 'A'. HINT: Coursehero has the chapters over the book. (that's how i got my homework in)

Okay sure he makes you read literally the WHOLE textbook and summarize it for homework grade but it only counts as 10% of your grade and if you dont do it you can either pass with a high B or score really high on each exams to get an A for the class. His syllabus is straight forward and literally includes the outline for each of his assignments. 3 multiple choice tests, 2 essays, and about 2 "class presentations" that consists of presenting world news and your assigned question from textbook. The best professor that I have had, he makes the class interesting. He doesnt lecture this class is basically about presentations you will have to present a chapter from the textbook that he assigns to you and news presentation. For homework you will read textbook and summarize it. 3 exams no final that are similar to review. Very easy class!

Three Exams for 20% each. 30% for three written assignments for which he gives plenty of time. And 10% for 5 minute news presentation. And 5% extra credit for full attendance. This class is easy A. He does reviews before each test. He talks rough sometimes with students but I never mind that.

The Sour Patch professor. First he's sour, then he's sweet. Highest entertainment value of any professor I've had in 2 years. Hysterical, fun, and politically challenging discussion in class. He will get an A out of you; he knows you're capable of it, and he'll be fierce if he has to. He can seem cruel, but he has a heart of gold. Register now.

I'm gonna be real. He's pretty funny and genuine. Turn in your assignments and you'll get an A. the assignments are pretty annoying. 2 huge assignments ( a 5 page research paper and a 10 page assignment). he's not a tough grader though. he doesn't lecture, every person gets a chance to teach the class ( present a section on a chapter). good luck.

My class was filled with international students and he was very nice to all of us. The only reason you shouldn't take his class is if you're an SJW that's majoring in professional victimhood.

Honestly one of the best professors that I've had. Lots of homework for the summer but nothing hard. He likes to share his life story with the class but makes it very enjoyable.
