he is a very rewarding teacher if he sees that you put effort! his classes are interesting and worth going to. he will give you a chance, all you need to do is approach him! some find him intimidating, but you need to overlook that. Very good teacher!!!

i am not a person who likes to go to class or pay attention, but lloyd makes you want to learn and makes it so much fun that you want to be there! u deffinetly need a sense of humour in any of his classes, and if you just go to class, u remember everything for the finals! he is the best teahcer EVERRRRR!!! i love him!

I LOVED HIS CLASS! He was so great. He helps you grow so much in so many different ways. His stories are great, and very captive. He's definitely one of a kind. The assignments aren't hard at all. Study for the exams and you'll do very well...he also gives some of the questions!! TAKE HIM ... you wont regret!

Best teacher ever! I learned so much about myself! If he likes you, he'll do a lot for you, if you screw him, he'll screw you. For your exams, make sure you listen in class and maybe even take notes. Most of his short answer questions refer to class. If you can, take his class. You'll love it!!!

I definitely recommend any students taking OB to take it with Lloyd. He is one of my favorite prof. He makes learning the material very easy, by relating to real life situations. If you ever get stuck on something or have concern, don't ever be afraid to go see him at his office and get help. He's really helpful! I'm so glad I had him as a prof.

Mr. Michaels is the best teacher in the whole world! He makes you want to be in class. All his lectures include life lessons that you can relate to. I was really able to absorb everything he taught me and apply it to my own life! I wish he taught every class I had to take. He is hands down the best teacher!

Lloyd is AWESOME!!!! makes everything crystal clear. Show up to class, write down the methods. Listen to his stories, learn how to implement them. His final is EASY!!!! 1 on 1 ... he might look intimidating but he will help you out and guide you. Easy A, if you're willing to put in some work.

Course content isn't the most interesting thing in the world but Lloyd's classes are. He often goes off-topic about his life stories but he's a very nice person and helpful as well. I wish he taught other classes because I'd take them.

Lloyd is very entertaining, but dont take his funny attitude for granted. If you take the projects seriously and put in a bit of effort you'll do well.

Awesome teacher. Very interesting. He's exams are NOT easy but if you read the text and go over the notes you will do fine. He's also a hard marker when it comes to presentations!! But if he likes you and can see that you're trying he'll give you a good final mark. I recommend his class to everyone!!

Seriously amazing teacher.. i absolutely loved his teaching style and in turn the class. The group presentation wasn't great as well as the paper (which usually happens with group projects) but he was super understanding. he was such a funny guy and i really enjoyed being in his class. just over all great :)

Fantastic teacher. Nothing but good things to say about him. Not the easiest exams, but will make up for it afterwards with in-class discussions for marks. If you are planning on taking Organizational Behaviour, Lloyd is the only teacher you should consider.

8:30 morning classes is fun with this guy. You always like and want to attend his classes regardless. I wish he would teach most of courses at cap.

Lioyd's teaching is fantastic. He successful transfers theories on the textbook into a living one, which greatly help us in class and out of class. I highly recommend him to everyone.

Lloyd is a great communicator and is quite charismatic, which draws you into his lectures. Real life business ain't like it is in the textbooks, so focus on learning what will actually help you after school is done. Lloyd can teach you how better your character so you're more successful in life, not only business. This is what sets him apart.

Llyod was an awesome prof. He always had something interesting to talk about every class. He doesnt care if you don't show up, but you'll definitely pay for it later since ALL of his notes ARE NOT in the textbook and WILL BE on the midterms and exam. He also give you the chance to argue the midterms with him (which in return got me 5 extra point)

As many have said, this guy is AMAZING! At first I was really intimidated by him but eventually I was looking forward to his classes. He is an old school kinda guy with a lot of real world experience. He puts you out of your comfort zone and gives you some solid life skills. I would recommend this class to anyone!!

I've now taken 2 classes with Lloyd. He is by far the best professor at Cap. He seamlessly incorporates real world examples into the course content. He's genuinely supportive and you can tell that he loves to teach. He's getting up there in age, so take a class with him before you miss your chance! Be prepared for a great course "type of thing".

Hands down one of the most inspirational professors that I've ever had. He's open, honest and, at times, tough. He enjoys putting people on the spot and challenging their comfort zones. He also is one of the most thoughtful, caring and, all around, incredible human beings that I have ever known. He has left and everlasting impression in my life.

Great prof!! Projects are super easy and theyre worth like 60% of the entire semester. Tests are easy, he will always give you some of the questions before, and after each test he lets the entire class to argue about the test and everyone usually would get 8-9% extra! Would take a course with him again!

Lloyd is a wonderful teacher. My regrets: I wish I took better notes in class and studied harder for the written midterm and I wish that I went in to practice with him before the practical exam. Lloyd is a blessing to Capilano University. If you want relevant and real world lectures, take the class.

Honestly don't remember which class I took with him but it was probably about 15 years ago. But it was his sales techniques which I still remember and use. EXTREMELY useful. One of those life lessons that if I were still in Vancouver would sit in a few classes (or buy him lunch) to get a refresher.

Took OB a while back, and I can say that Lloyd's class was one of the most entertaining at the business school. He challenges the class to debate him for extra marks after each midterm. Class was also fun, the material overall was taught in an entertaining way. Lloyd has eons of teaching experience and it shows in how he does the course.

I had Lloyd for two courses - BADM 106 and BMKT 263. I've never had a professor I could connect with better than Lloyd. It has been a true honor to be one of his last students. I will miss him and his unique personality as I continue with the next chapter in my life. Thank you Lloyd for being a humorous thoughtful & effective leader and teacher.

FUN class. Lloyd is the most transparent prof. He wants to retire soon, so if you get the chance to take his class, DO! One individual paper, one group project (presentation and paper), two midterms, and one final. Easy to get a good grade if you put some effort in.

The assignments were 2 midterms, a final, a paper, a group paper, and a group presentation (same group) PICK YOUR GROUP WISELY!! Lloyd was an amazing teacher, he was refreshingly sarcastic and hilarious. He grades very fair and overall an extremely fair teacher. I really loved this class and hope to take a course with him again in the future!

He is the best Instructor at CapU. I would definitely take any of his classes again! You have to actively participate and make good notes in class. That's all, rest you will have an easy A. He's motivating and inspirational, too bad September 2018 would be his last term. I WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND Lloyd!
