Professor Thomas is a great teacher! He made the class as fun as one can make a history class. Attendance is mandatory, because even though he provides you with his powerpoint notes on blackboard, most of the notes you need will be given in his lecture. Word of advice: Get a recorder. This will save your life.

If you attend all the classes you will probably get an A

I took AP classes in high school and so I found this class to be very easy. I read the book sometimes (even though the tests are based off the test and lecture material) and still passed the tests with mid-As. He gives plenty of extra credit and is very helpful and lenient. Not too many grades, but enough to help your grade. Overall, GREAT teacher.

Professor Logan was extremely helpful and easily approachable. His lectures were easy to follow and his pace was clear and easily understandable. I would recommend him as a History teacher to anyone who is looking to take a history class at GGC.

Professor Thomas was great!! Did his best to make History as fun as he could. He seemed eager to help any student. I didn't have to use the book very much, he uses a lot of PPs. 2 quizzes, 3 tests, and an easy PP Presentation. Awesome class!!

One of the best teachers I've ever had. He's funny, sometimes corny funny, and his personality really helps with this class. I never opened the book once throughout the semester. Everything you need for the tests he gives you in a lecture in class. If you go to class and take notes, there's no reason why you shouldn't make an A.

Awesome teacher. I have been at GGC for going on two years and he was my favorite teacher. As long as you listen in class, you'll pass the quizzes and test. Theres one self presentation at the end of the semester.

Logan Thomas is by far my favorite professor over my 2 year span here. Very funny guy, funny and informational lectures. Quizzes all online due at the end of semester and test are easy. He responds quickly if you ever have to email him. Already signed up for his class again for Spring 2016. Only con is his class is on Saturdays.

Dr. Thomas is awesome, you'll really enjoy this class. He's very passionate about History, very animated when teaching. He'll hop on the phone with you if you need assistance on an assignment, such as essays. Be prepared to read! Read first 6 chapters in the first 2 weeks, about 160 pages.

He replies to all his emails extremely quickly and will sit on the phone with you and help you out with work. You do have to put effort into your essays though, but as long as you go to class, it will be an easy A !

Been in college off and on for 15 years and have never had a prof as entertaining as this. He's hilarious, knowledgeable, and has a stellar personality. Tests are multiple choice and essay. His feedback on my essays motivated me and made me want to learn history even more. He's what every teacher should aspire to be.

Logan is the definition of a history buff. When he starts his lectures this guy will just start talking away but he speaks with such enthusiasm that you really enjoy what he has to say. Coming from someone who doesn't like History, I passed. This guy is really a great person. Not only does he cares for his students, but he stays over until you get the material down. His lectures are the best and his tests are super easy as long as you pay attention, take notes, and do the study guide you'll be perfectly fine especially because the study guide is EXACTLY what you will have on the test no sucker punches at all.

Easiest most understanding professor i have had by far. He is so passionate about history and how he wants to teach it, making the class not only a breeze but super fun too. This class was my break... during the day, almost like a 50 minute story time. You're so engaged because he makes it so interesting.

Professor T is the best professor and teacher I have ever had. I recorded his lectures which helped me on the exams but he also makes history SO hype. Logan is one of my favorite professors that I've had at GGC Even if you aren't interested in history, he tells it all like it's one big story and keeps you engaged. He gives out easy grades, only 2 papers and no cumulative final or midterm. He respects all of his students, just don't be a jerk. If you can, definitely take his class.

Normally I look for profs that I can get an easy A and not have to learn. but this guy made me look forward to class so much. cons: repeats himself a lot, long lectures, detailed tests. pros: gives you GREAT study guides, and great feedback, and a funny guy!

Prof. Thomas is truly the best teacher I have ever had. He changed history for me and made it so much more interesting. You do have an assignment every week but his lectures make it very easy to do them. The tests are 30 multiple choices + 5 short answers + one essay which is a lot but honestly not hard at all. If you get the change take him!

Professor Thomas is amazing ! He makes U.S History super engaging and always open for discussions. He uses daily lectures that follow along the textbook . We have weekly quizzes and monthly test that are never too difficult . We work on a research project throughout the semester . Professor Thomas cares about all his students and is super great! :)

I took his 9 am class. I'm not a morning person but going to his class was always the best way to start my day. He assigns very easy homework and has a quiz each week that can still be done a week after the due date. The final project was fun since you get to decide on what you want to do. Would def take again and would recommend him to anyone

Mr. Thomas is an overall great professor. The class is definitely an easy A. 4 tests (incl 1 final), 7 quizzes, and 5 discussions. The questions on both tests/quizzes are straight forward and not hard. He is also a great grader so he appreciates the extra effort you put on discussions comments. Also was lenient with me submitting a discussion late.

Dr. Thomas is a fantastic professor who genuinely wants to see you succeed. In his class, we had one short quiz every week, totaling three tests, two short writing assignments, and one big project. None of the work is particularly difficult. For this class there isn't much to complain about. Just make sure to complete your work on time.

I absolutely LOVED this professor, if i could take every class with him I would. He goes above and beyond! You can tell he truly cares about his students. His class is very digestible and there is a lot of opportunities for extra credit. He provides a free textbooks which is really good for exams. Overall, this class is super easy and interesting.
