not a bad guy... talks about hockey alot

One of the biggest ****s I've ever had the privlege of being taught by. You loved to hate this man but you'll walk away a better public speaker and you may learn something to casue he'll force you to. I liked that.

Very good professor, explains things easilly and the only people who wont do good in this class are ones that do not pay attention and think its a blow off class.

Excellent professor. Just go to class and do the reading and assignments. Some think he's difficult - this is college people! If you're looking for a high school level class, take one of the other comm profs in the department...

Not a bad class, but he is a pretty big jerk, can be funny at times, but can suck others. He was head of department, but demoted for "after hours activites" with secretary. You learn a lot, but you have to work hard too.

Loved his class and the teacher. He should teach more comm. classes. Only dumb students would be scared of him or think he was too hard. They need to get a life. He applies real life examples so you understand.Awesome Teacher

The final paper is stupid, and he is long-winded, but overall the class isn't too hard, and he's not a bad guy.

He applies his life to most everything in the class, but it can be very helpful. It makes things "hit home" a little more. I liked the class, but not my fav.

He gives too many examples and stories about his life (his son, wife and himself). You must pay very close attention to get the meaning of his stories. He gives lots of quizzes that you must write 2-3 sentences about a main topic in the chapter. His exams aren't too bad though (MC, T/F, Matching)

This guy is boring, talks fast, always about his son. He has much experience, however his tests are difficult. Overall I would not reccomend him.

It's college, not meant to be easy! Quiz material might be a little tough, but I actually enjoyed the lecture and thought the exercises were inventive.

Not sure where he gets his negative rating. He is strict about his attendance policy, but beyond that if you show him some respect he'll do the same for you. Lectures are clear, assignments are relatively simple, and he is a fair grader. Take him if you want a good speech prof

HE tells so many stories its hard to tell whats suppost ot be valid notes and whats just a story! it seems like its taking us a long time to get through a chapter or even one or two concepts!

A little narrowminded in thinking, but as far as teaching he's great. Very clear when he lectures about material that will be on quizzes. Gives great examples and makes understanding easy. START THE TERM PAPER AS SOON AS IT IS ASSIGNED THOUGH because trying to write 30-40 pgs in a week is hell.

At first I hated him and his double talk (he says things twice; not important things just dumb stuff). Everything is a story about his kids and grandkids but he does somehow relate it to communications. The class was pretty easy when all was said and done; just study and take notes.

This is a no BS guy. Very helpful, clear about definitions, lectures are interesting for the most part. His stories are always about his kid, but he relates them to the topic at hand quite thoroghly.

I liked his class alot.. He did talk about his son ALL THE TIME.. But it always applied to what we were talking about. The quizzes were easy if you look at your notes even for just a little bit before the quiz. The bad part about him is that whatever you say it seems to be wrong to him, and he always questions whatever you say..Otherwise, he's good

Talks about his son alot, says "at this particular point" and "for all intents and purposes" alot, but subject is very clear and note-taking is easy...

Tells storys he thinks are funny. Talks about the kid all the time, but does relate it to COMM. Doesn't care to understand what you are saying and then turns it into the exact opposite of what you ment. He's never wrong, in his mind anyways and is very intimidating.

He was preety funny. I liked him and his class was easy. He does talk about his kids and family a lot but relates it to topic. Do NOT disagree with him. A kid in my class told him he made up statistics and he dedicated the whole next class period tearing this kid apart.

This class is pretty easy. He uses powerpoints for his lectures and doesn't really use the textbook at all. As long as you write down the information and study it you will do fine on the quizzes and exams. Its all pretty much common sense info. Just stay on top of the work

Great Prof. who knows what the hell he is talking about. If you actually take notes, you will do well..you will do even better if you actually read the book unlike I did.

great professor. only needed the book for specific assignments. He was incredibly easy to learn from. show up and listen to him. He teaches off of personal knowledge. vomit up his own words and he will love you. hes an incredibly nice guy.

I must say I'm absolutely shocked that anyone would rate Professor Green with any negativity at all. I love going to his classes! He's funny and shows subject-related clips from shows like Cosby Show and Everybody Loves Raymond. His tests are of average difficulty, but he gives you a study guide of everything that will be on the exams.

My favorite professor of all time, the people that didnt like him are the people that can't focus on anything if it's not on facebook. He had great anecdotes to related to material , and he had this way of telling stories that you understood the course without realizing you were learning. All you have to do is put forth smallest amount of effort.

Professor Green is a very interesting professor. He gives real-life examples for EVERY concept he introduces. Exams are easy(if you study) but are worded awkwardly. Read the book and study the notes that he gives and you will get an A. ...All his notes are given on powerpoint, but he keeps it interesting

He is a tough teacher, but he gives you study guides! USE THEM! The analysis make sure you keep up to date on! I highly recommend. He is so nice and always tells stories that relate to what we are learning! People who don't like him are the ones who hate every professor! HE IS GREAT!

He is a great teacher. Keeps lectures interesting. Must take notes! Tests are a little unclear but if you do the study guides and keep up to date with the analysis you will do fine.

Your grade is based off of tests and a final assignment. He gives you the final assignment at the beginning of the term, make sure you work on it as you go. Don't wait until the last week! The assignment is easy, but very long. I never used the book. Take notes!! Tests are fairly easy as long as you actually study.

Professor Green is adorable! He makes the class fun by telling funny stories that relate to the class and actually help you remember things. His tests aren't exactly hard, but just make sure you take good notes in class and read the chapters. Overall, this course is fun. I would take it again if I could!

As far as I am concerned this class is not bad what so ever. Great professor. Would highly recommend him. You take about a test a month and have an analysis at the end. Not to bad if you get an early start on it, and if you send him samples he will give you his honest feedback.

I only had six classes with him but he was a really funny guy. Strict and old school, but you could tell he cared.
