Nice as a person, but in class she just reads the notes that u can downlolad by yourself, nothing extra. You gonna have to study by yourself, however shi is approachable and helpfull

Overall a nice approachable teacher. I dislike the blank filling stuff and the assignments are difficult. I feel that she puta a lot of emphasys on graphs and not enough on the theory which can be frustrating for some of us.

I think Hung is excellent. She is hard but fair, you can hit A+ working seriously. For some, thats bad. For others, thats excellent and motivating. The hardest working prof Ive ever known. Replies to mail everyday, has extra office hours and is very patient. Provides detailed notes for chapters! Highly recommended if you want to learn something!

Her notes are pretty much a summary of the text book so if you wanna save some $ take her course. Her lectures are very boring because she basically goes over her notes (which you can do on your own) Willing to help students outside of class (e-mails, office hours, etc) Overall, a decent prof...you could do a lot worse

she is an amazing teacher. makes your brain work. however, if you are not a quick thinker or your concepts are weak you will not enjoy this class. i loved her class. she made the class very enjoyable and i learnt a great deal.

Her classes are boring, because she mostly explained from the slides (overhead). However, if you ask her question during her office hour, or by email, she responds very fast, and she is willing to help. And her midterm is fairly easy if you do all her quick quiz and review the assignments!

do ur assignment and go to her office if u have questions. she's more helpful out of class.

Great teatcher, she is very helpfull and goes throught all the meterial in a clear and consistent manner. If you can take her do ! If you go see her she will do everything she can to help you. I even asked her about non course related stuff and she helped me !

This course is a nightmare for a lot of people, but Loretta CAN make it easier on you if you try. Her notes are fantastic, they are already written for you and are straight from the book. Can be difficult to understand if you have trouble with accents. Her biggest problem: BORING! but if you can manage to pay attention, great prof, EASY midterm.

This teacher is AMAZING, she knows her stuff inside out, and she will go to any extent to help her students succeed. Her assignments and exams are challenging and you must devote lots of time to her class like any other university class! Take her and work you should be pleased with your Final Grade

Professor Hung is a good professor. She is really strong in Finance theory and despite what people say she explains these concepts very well. If you ever have any questions, go to her office! She can only show you the door, but with Comm 308 YOU have to open it.

If you wanna do good in this class, you have to devote a lot of your time time and study really really hard. She won't give you free mark so you will have to work for it. She tries really hard to explain and help but sometimes, speaks too fast. Take her if you are willing to put a lot of effort and time to this class. Midterm average was a C-!

She's easier than what most people think (if you study the material) because her tests and her marks are very very fair...

#1 Piece of advice print her chapter notes they are gold! They are the key for learning this class & are way better than the boring book. She teaches fast because there is so much subject matter to cover for one semester. Don’t understand go see her at her office hours where she can take her time to help you out.

She teaches very fast. Read the material before class so it'b easier to keep up with her lectures. She answers all students question politely. The course is a little tough to understand. Her notes online are very useful in preparing for exams. Overall, she is nice, but you will need tolerance for her speedy lectures.

She speaks to fast and to loud, has a weird accent, but apart from this she's quite ok. She explaines everything very clearly and sticks 100% to the text book. Everybody who gets a C or D is just lazy...

Don't be LAZY! You must understand the material and the GRAPHS. This is essential to getting an A in this class. She is a great teacher. Goes over the material very well. She is most certainly qualified and intelligent but some may find it hard to follow her fast-paced method of teaching. I believe she does care about her students but there are so many of them (150 in one class!) I understand why she is strict and demands discipline. Some days in her class were mentally exhausting. Tough course overall.

She is passionate and you feel that she really wants to help.She offers a lot of office hours and answers emails quickly. Her exams are a bit hard but she explaines really well and she's also funny sometimes.

Very good prof. Does her best to make sure the topics are explained clearly so they are easily understood. The class pace was fast, but it's to be expected in the summer term - especially with the huge volume of information to be covered. Makes herself available before/after class, and by special appointment. Jokes around so class is fun.

Overall she's not too bad at all. She's VERY kind/helpful and will go out of her way to make sure you can do well in the course (change test weighting, look over exams more than once etc). Makes funny jokes. HOWEVER, she isn't always very clear when teaching and goes quite fast. Do SOS and get to know her over office hours and you're golden.

when you're hearded in a class of 150 you might not understand her and actually have a negative view. However she is funny and extremely helpful in office hours. She will spend hours helping you understand a concept if you take the effort to see her. The exams are 100% fair. No tricks. Just know your stuff!

In class she goes by soo fast. It flies and you're baffled. But go see her during office hour, she'll make that 3 hour class condensed into a 20 minute office hour session. Great professor and shes got a good sense of humor. She's 100% fair no tricks, just know your stuff and you should be fine. It's a quant class, so do problems and problems!

One of the best profs I've had. I would take her for the rest of my courses if she taught them. Explains very well, provides excellent notes, no tricks on exams. Does everything in her power to help you succeed (shifting Midterm weight to final, spending time with you during office hours etc). Highly recommended.

Excellent teacher. She can go very fast at times but posts the notes so you can review later on. Also, she's very loud, so if you sit in the front row like I did your ears might be ringing towards the end. Can make tests and midterms hard but the final is a breeze because you understand everything. Recommended for 220

Tough course; Amazing teacher! Has so much experience that she knows our thoughts without us telling her. Gives amazing exam tips and study advice. Helps you go step by step all the problems and makes sure you know the concepts so you can apply them. If you have any difficulty with Micro... you GOT to take her!!! =D

She's the best teacher ever! She's super fair, and does her absolute best to help you. She always answers emails within 24hrs. Highly recommended! She talks clearly and is funny. If you have any questions just go to office hours and she will explain until you understand. Just attend classes, go to office hours and you will do great!

Pretty good teacher. Didn't really go to many lectures because she is a bit tough to understand, but she's a very nice lady. Her quizzes are 20 MCQs and they're easyyy.

Her explanation is very good. Her accent is not disturbing, and you can understand everything what she says.

She is very nice and has a good sense of humour. The quizzes are basically free points so make sure you go prepared. She doesn't really give many practice problems other than her little quizzes at the end of each chapter so do everything you can to find the test bank!!! It will save your life!

She's the one you need to take 220 with simply because she's the coordinator. Her quiz and midterm are harder than other sections but she prepares you well for the final. Her students in the final can do much better than other sections'. She's helpful if you are a hard worker.

You will need to study for the exams, you will find some curve balls along the way. The prof is very helpful and it is true that she will explain to you until you understand. She is approachable and fun but you need to put the effort!

She is funny and approachable - the biggest issue is her multiple choice on exams/quizzes - I got 98 in long answer and bombed multiple choice cause she really checks if you UNDERSTAND the material so beware! she is also hard to understand in class - but material is easy so you should be fine if you keep up to date on your readings

Great prof! Her quizzes and midterm are challenging but very fair, and require you to really know and understand the concepts. She is always available to help her students and is very approachable. She even saw me after the exam and asked me how it went, which was nice. I highly recommend taking this prof!

She's very helpful and approachable. Nonetheless I think her section was the toughest and the midterm put my mark down. I studied A LOT for this class and don't see my effort reflected in the grade. Be prepared to study really hard for this class.

She is THE best instructor someone could ask for! She knows her stuff and makes class so engaging. The course is still difficult though. It requires you to do the readings, attend class and religiously practice - doing 2/3 of these doesn't cut it! She will meet you half way if you do so as well. In sum, loretta is the best..TAKE HER!!!

Loretta is amazing! She makes class worth going to. But you need to work for your grade in her class. Her midterm and final are NOT easy. Read the book, attend class and go to the tutorials (the tutor is a god, he saved my semester!). Overall, she is amazing! Hiighly recommended

Prof hung is AWESOME! She is not only hilarious but also very into what she teaches. Those who don't do well in her course are those who didn't put in the effort. Yes, she's a great prof, but you still need to put in the effort. Attend her lecture, attend the tutorials and practice and you will get the grade you deserve. She's amazing, recommend!!!

Very good teacher. She speaks fast, but she's very clear and helpful. Very approachable and funny in class. If you attend her classes and the tutorials, you are sure to pass with a great grade. I hate economics, but she made it interesting and simple.

It's true that the course is sort of challenging, but she knows her materials and is always ready to help her students. She speaks fast but understable. You need to attend her classes, go to tutorials and practices on the materials you learned to pass the course!

She is a very nice person and she tries to help you, HOWEVER, when it comes to exams, she gives a very tricky, hard test!(Multiple choice+long ans + very very tough timing).She doesnt practice solving problems with you and I think thats the problem. I know students who solved almost all end of chapters problems and still didnt do well in exam.

Prof Hung is impeccable. She is funny, dedicated and a legend for Comm220. She loves the material and loves her students even more. Beware though: her exams are of EXTREME difficulty (40%-50% averages). She also doesn't drop ANY hints on the final. For some good practice and great reinforcement, go to tutorials, they are a MUST for this class

What I heard about her was false, she is a tough marker only if you don't follow the rules (for example long answers MUST be in ink). She warns people well in advance and reminds people. The course itself is not hard if you put the effort weekly. Go to the tutorials and do some practice problems. The midterm and in class tests are more than fair.

Professor Hung is a really good professor even if she is a tough one. You will learn and she is very knowledgeable about the course. She does have an accent, but if you can get past it she is a solid choice

Amazing teacher! Her lectures are interesting but it's true that she goes over the material pretty fast, so maybe read the chapters before each class and definitely attend the tutorials. She's very accessible outside of class and she truly cares about students and our success in this class! This is not an easy class so you'll have to work for it!

One of the best lecturers in my opinion. You want to do well because she makes class interesting. 2 in class tests (MC), midterm (easy) and final (pretty hard). 220 is a reasonably challenging course because there are lots of chapters and practice required but just keep up with lectures and youre fine. Attend Matteo's tutorials.

Great teacher! She really cares about her students and is passionate about the subject and it shows through her lectures. COMM 220 is not the hardest subject if you are willing to work (read the textbook, do the study plan & attend tutorials). She's really straightforward about what she expects from us.

She's unnecessarily strict. Her class is like high school; no talking, texting or even getting up to go to the washroom. Ultimately, for 220, as long as you go to tutorials, you'll be fine no matter the prof.

Loretta always comes to class to give her best to teach the class in an engaging way. Although she seems to to be limited in 1h15 to give us the lesson, she will always welcome you with open arms to her office hours and really take the time to explain exactly what you don't understand.

Very knowledgeable about the class, she does go into very heavy detail which I felt like a bit much at times. However, you can ask her about anything and she'll explain it to you thoroughly. She's very caring about her students doing well so she's always there to help. Comm220 will require some work though, go to the tutorials and do the practices.

Prof Hung is very knowledgeable. She goes into detail in her lectures, sometimes too much and it gets boring but it really shows she cares for her students. COMM 220 is a rough time in every case but she is the best option. Accessible outside of class and takes the time to answer any questions. Would recommend

Professor Hung is one of my favourite profs! She cares so deeply about her students and is always available to give extra help in or outside of office hours. I would recommend attending her lectures because she explains the chapters in depth with questions that I found super easy to understand (and I don't understand econ easily)!

She's definitely one of the best professors I've come across at Concordia University. She cares for her students, and was always encouraging us to meet her at office timings to get our doubts cleared. I failed in mt2, and when I met her in office hours, she motivated me and corrected my mistakes. And I ended up doing exceptionally good in finals

Her teaching style is rigorous and her expertise is solid. It's easy to understand as long as you follow along with her notes

Professor Hung cares about her students, she obviously knows the material very well and provides lecture notes for every chapter included in the course. It still is an Econ/math course so you will have to study if you are not a genius that can pick things up first time in class. Practice is key.

Grade split was 5 quiz (8% each) + final. She's great and super helpfull. Yaps alot and tends to go a bit off topic, but weirdly entertaining. Very passionate too. That said, 221 is rough, so lock in
