I found the work to be hard and I didn't really understand what she was lecturing, and she offered help but I just didn't get it and I had to drop. It's not her fault though. She seems like a nice person.

Mrs. Mancuso was a very effective teacher. I am not proficient in Math, but she got me through it. She offered a lot of tutoring time in her office and in the library. She is a great asset to the Math department.

Ms. Mancuso tries really really hard to help her students understand but I am personally very slow with math. I recommend her to everyone. She even pushes back certain deadlines for you if you need her to. Very understanding instructor.

I loved this class. I needed an extra math course and decided to take this instead of pre-calculus. If you paid attention in high school attendance is not mandatory until the very end. I attended 6 classes including test taking periods. I never needed help but she would always make herself available for students that did.

If you have a hard time with math, take her. She knows the material and has multiple approaches and examples to help you learn this stuff. She has no problem stopping and explaining anything in other ways right off the top of her head - she makes it easy. Jeez is she good....

I needed another math class so I took this instead of Calculus. I'm glad I did. I never studied and I went to 5 classes INCLUDING test days. This was my easiest class and reminded me of middle school Pre-Algebra. Take her because she taught well the one class I actually attended.

I had an A in her class up until the final which i failed because I missed the last few classes where she went over everything we should study. She was always very helpful and understanding when I had problems doing some of my work. She always took time out of her schedule to help me. She is very easy to understand and has great enthusiasm.

The best professor at UNO!!!! She will answer any question you have. Makes everything seem so easy. I got an A on 3 out of 4 tests. I only failed the last one beacause I forgot when it was. I wish she could teach every single course I have!

HIGHLY recommended! I took her for both 1115 and 1031 and whatever you do, PLEASE enroll in one of her classes if you need Math credits. I may not be the best at Math, but she made it so much easier for me to understand. She's also very sweet and caring. She always sends e-mails and she's always available via e-mail and always at her office hours.

If, like me, you're a liberal arts student without a mathematical bone in your body, DON'T HESITATE, TAKE HER CLASS! Survey of Mathematical Thought is already meant to be easy, but Mancuso doesn't even penalize absences. All the work is online & tests aren't too bad. Once I had the wrong date for a test and she just let me take it later, no fuss.

SUPER EASY! Easy material, great teacher, and the study guides are exactly like the exams (with different problems). You're not graded for attendance. If you miss class it's really easy to figure it out from the MyMathLab notes; she posts them with the solutions. She drops the lowest exam grade. You have some HW and quizzes online but not many.

Awesome professor! She's of the few who doesn't mind at all helping outside of class. The class is easy in general, but if you get into some trouble, email her and she'll reply promptly. I used to hate math, now I love it thanks to her!!

Mancuso is awesome! I was nervous to take an online math, but taught myself 1115/1116 through mymathlab, so took a chance. She'll reopen quizzes (& tests) if you need it, or push due date back. She's INCREDIBLY helpful! Clear notes is KEY n any math. There's no reason to make lower than A. Exam reviews are exactly how exam is.

Professor Mancuso is GREAT! I have taken her online for both Math 1115 & 1125, and I don't regret it at all. She's always opening up quizzes by the end of the semester. Even if you forget to do a quiz, u can just email her & she'll open it right up for u. Oh & her practice exams are an exact replica of her actual exam online! She's overall amazing.

The few times that I did have questions, I was never afraid to ask for clarification. 100% would take her again if I could.

I took the asynchronous version of this class. As long as you copy down the notes and do/understand the mathlab homework and quizzes you'll be fine. The test are short and easy. They are just like the quizzes.

Professor Mancuso is SO SWEET. Material is relatively easy. The way she teaches makes it very easy to understand. She is very understanding to any issues and is happy to open up any assignments you might have missed because of life events. I have always been so bad at math, but this made it better. Needless to say, Ms. Mancuso has to be the best math teacher I've ever had. Most of the material is not difficult. The assignments are fairly simple, and you will get a chance to retake quizzes. Overall, she's just an incredible human being, and I hope that I get to be in her class again at some point.

I took Math 1115 online, everything was self-paced. She left the assignment's due dates on her syllabus. It is super important to write down the due dates for each assignment and test because she does not remind you! The test reviews before the test was really helpful in making a study guide.
