She made me LOVE sociology and want to learn more!! I want to go to ALL her classes and if I miss one, I actuallyet upse! :)

lori is a great teacher. she is wonderful. her tests are great, and the class is real fun. the only way to fail, or not have fun, is to not show up at all.

Lori is the best prof. I've had. She is so excited about teaching the course which in turn gets me excited to learn. I've learned more then I could have ever imagined, and would take the course over again just b/c it is that fun!

Very interesting teacher, makes her class fun! She wrote the text book and put a star next to everything that will be on the test! Her test are simple if you study what she starred in the book, the questions are in the book word for word! GREAT TEACHER AND DOES ACTIVITIES OUTSIDE OF THE CLASSROOM.

AWESOME TEACHER!!! The class in really interesting, and mainly because of her teaching style. She makes the class fun so it doesnt seem like your learning, yet; because of her style, you really retain the knowlegde. She really knows her stuff. and is one of the best teachers you will ever have!

A GREAT teacher, one that makes you always want to come to class and never miss. Her teaching methods are great, she keeps the class entertaining and leaves you wanting more. All of her test questions come straight out of the book and they are marked so you know which ones to study.

OK, I love Mrs. Fowler and yes, she is cute, we even grew up together in the O.C! But for this writer who went on to major in sociology, her class was more entertainment as opposed to learning basic sociological theory. Take,enjoy the A, do some service, but sociology up at the 4yr involves theory, which u will have to learn there instead of here.

This is an awesome class! Very easy just show up and put forth a little effort in studying for tests and viola, easy A! I HIGHLY recommend taking this course!

Lori Fowler makes learning fun in this class with a lot of statistics and her vive for the subject. She is always very energetic and brings a lot of humor and experience to the table. The textbook that she requires was written by her and most of her tests questions are compiled from the text. Little outside reading or other work is required.

She is so nice and makes the class so interesting. If your there then the test is so easy. The class is based on her book but its just powerpoint slides and then you write in notes sometimes. Her lecture is the test. You may have to study, it would help and go to the review for the test because it helps!

She wrote the book you use in class and stars everything you need to know for the test GET THIS TEACHER! If you dont make an A i would give you a million dollars.

Awesome teacher, the book she uses is awesome since its all power point slides. Come to class as she gives out answers to tests sometimes. Get to go and do service work but its actually kinda fun. Easy A if you pay attention and do whats asked, plenty of extra credit too. And to top it all off i actually learned something, go figure.

Freakin' love her! She's a whole lot of fun and very entertaining! She cares about all of her students. One of the best professors! Play games in class to study for exams, and lots of fun activities! Phenomenal!

The text was "written" by the professor, But there is no writing about it. I had to pay over 70 dollars for a book full of powerpoint slides, that most teachers would provide for free on their webpage. More than half the pages in the book are only printed on one side, and she was talking about starting a recycling program on campus?!?

Fowler is an awesome teacher. you DO have to purchase a textbook/workbook she has written, and it is mandatory because most pages are turned in for homework. Her class is great, and informative. easy A.

Automatic A+ except for me because I did not go to any of the community service activities (Battered Womans shelter, Jail) They are mandatory regardless of what she tells you.

Dr Fowler is the coolest teacher, she is so animated and fun to watch. She is very helpful and it was GREAT having her class, she is now going to the Trinty campus, catch her there, she is so worth it.

Wonderful professor! She accomplished the goal of the class by giving you a broad glimpse into sociology. She is encouraging, helpful, entertaining, and reasonable. Her style of teaching may catch some people off guard, and may be detrimental to those who require rigid structure (like me), but trust me, you'll get over it. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

Best teacher I have ever had. You will NOT regret taking a class with her, I guarantee it. Took this class online and made an A easily. I had a 100 almost the whole semester. She is always on top of emails, and has grades posted very fast. Absolutely nothing wrong with her. Only problem is she needs to teach more stuff!!!!!!! Excellent teacher!!!

Dr. Fowler is fabulous! I took her ITV class & she was very accomodating with my work schedule. I wish that I have been able to actually attend her class in person, I bet that it's even better. I recommend her to everyone!

the best online class i have ever taken!

I truly enjoyed this online class...she really gave some interesting materials and her exams are fair and you can use your notes and book during the exam. Usually set for 90mins and the finaly she gives you two tries to pass. She grades quickly, helpful and return emails in a timely manner. I strongly suggest using her..She is Great.

I wish I had taken this class in person! This prof is nice, outgoing, & very clear about everything. HW=mostly opinion based, lessons are easy to understand, and this woman's personality just shines through even though it's Distance learning. (: I don't care what she's teaching, take the class!!

I took the online Soci 1306. It was so much fun, I couldn?t wait for the next assignment. The Professor Fowler is great with providing information and returning your emails for any additional information you may need. Professor Fowler really works hard for her students. TAKE THE CLASS!

I think my expectations of an online class were too high. I made an A, but I don't feel I learned much. There were only 3 discussion boards, and no feedback on anything. I could have emailed but when making a 100 it felt foolish. Probably a great in person teacher, people rave about her. Call me odd but I was disappointed. I love discussion. Easy A

Fowler is an AMAZING professor. She is very encouraging and helpful. You will need the "textbook" because some of the assignments are in there. LOTS of busy work, but very interesting.

Easily the best professor I've had!! Everything we studied was extremely interesting and Fowler made it so easy to understand and retain!! Attendance isn't mandatory but there ARE "daily" type grades that she gives out. Plus this class is so fun that you wouldn't want to miss. TRUST ME! She makes you want to take all of her classes!

I took this class online. You don't need a textbook. She provides everything you need. The class was very easy and very interesting. There are weekly assignments and there are only two tests, both of which have easy reviews to complete. There should be no problem for anyone in this class to make an A! Highly recommended.

I took her online class and it was very easy and straightforward. Class is pretty much self paced, you have a week to do the assignments. No textbook required. She uses all her resources online. She was also very understanding when I had complications with taking the final and missed the deadline. Definitely recommend her!

She requires for attendance because she provides info for ur tests. Book is needed because you will have some assignments from it. and you cannot but it online only sold on campus.

I took her class online and it was a pretty easy A. There are weekly assignments which usually takes me about 30 minutes total to do and 2 tests. She gives you a review with all the questions from the test before hand. She's super nice and helpful. I accidentally forgot to do a weeks assignments and she let me make them up no questions asked.

I took her online. All readings were provided, she required NO textbook! Assignments were fairly easy, most required doing a little bit of research on the internet. Tests come from the posted readings, which she makes available again at test time. You get multiple attempts to take the test. Overall, easy and interesting subject matter!

Really fun, and loves what she does. She really cares about how you do in the class and her material is very interesting. It is a bit of a challenge but is always worth it, as long as you pay attention. Lots of opportunities for extra credit, and no essays. Very smart prof.

Very Helpful and easy if you do the work! No book needed because she posted the chapters online. All work was online. Test is from the review so all you have to do is complete it and study. I was very impressed and highly recommend this teacher and class.

She is an awesome teacher, it was no textbook needed. And so much extra credit. Her test were online and you an your notes. I made 112 in her class. It is no way you should fail her class!!!!

Easy A. No textbook needed, she provides the book for you in blackboard. About 2-3 assignments per week that were very easy and simple. 2 tests that you could retake as many times until you get the grade you want. Very clear instructions, NEVER had to contact her, and I took her online. NO regrets taking this class

Both easy and interesting. Read textbook and short weekly assignments. Took as an 8-week course because the 16-week course was full. I was concerned about the workload but it was very doable.

Most people don't know this but Mrs. Fowler is has SEVERAL advanced degrees, and she has written A LOT of books about Sociology. She has even developed some of the book and coursework that was used for my class. She is a very intelligent and impressive teacher. But she looks so young you would never guess all the things she's accomplished. EASY A!!
