This was an online class. Overall had good experience. The quiz were hard some weeks and easy other. I earned high B on all the test. Need a good lab group about 6 group labs. I would take the class again. Good teacher

I did not think her classes where that boring besides the fact that there were so long but they had to be. I was in her classroom class and we got study guides. we would review the day before and if you just wrote down must of that you were good to go. GET IN A GOOD LAB GROUP that is what hurt my grade I got a 69

I just finished taking Mrs. Mayberry's online PSC 1114 class. It was set up with very clearly defined expectations. She was always quick with her email responses to my questions. We also had several good phone conversations. Just following her directions, do your work, stay on time, and you will do fine in this course.

8-week online physical science: Great course!

I took this as an 8 week summer class. If you do the work, you'll get a good grade. She does answer questions timely and I asked quite a few. It's not a class to take if you want to slack because there was a alot of work involved, but manageable.

Wow! I am done with this class and I did well on my final. It was lots of work, but the class was set up well and the teacher is very helpful. (I called and emailed her a lot.) I really learned a lot in the class. Way more than I expected.

8-wk Physical Science online - It was great and I am already done!

I took the 16-week online physical science class. I really had no interest in this class prior to taking it and I struggled a bit. Although challenging, I really learned a lot. I loved how her class was set-up, so you knew what to expect every week.

This class had a weekly quiz (open book), weekly lab(some group and some individual), weekly discussion board, and two tests. The group you are in is key here. I had a great group. Honestly my weekly time commitment boiled down to roughly 2-3 hours a week. You cannot work ahead in this class. It is a great class.

Great lecture notes. I wish every teacher was as prepared for each class as her. She has lots of quizzes. Her tests are tough, and don't expect a curve. That said I would take her again if I could.

Very well organized course. It was lots of work in 8 weeks, but it is a 4 credit hour lab class. Mrs. Mayberry was always very helpful with her comments and is really quick to reply to emails. I would highly recommend this course.

I had Lori for trig and she is amazing. Class is straight forward, she posts notes for class on blackboard and doesn't mind answering questions until everyone gets it. Lots of quizzes but only counts the 10 best towards your grade.

Considering it is an 8-week course for a 4 hour class, obviously there is a considerable amount of work. Don't bother reading! Print or copy the powerpoint notes and keep those and your book with you for reference on your tests and hw. Labs are easy! I am SO glad I took this class online. Use your time wisely and you will do fine!

Professor Mayberry is awesome! She is always so helpful, always checks on you and makes sure you are doing okay, and has fairly easy assignments that just take time like most classes. As long as you do the work, and ask for help when needed you'll pass with an "A". She greats!!! TAKE HER IF YOU CAN! Best professor, ever!

Class was pretty easy. You have to do an online interactive lab each week that is pretty fun and you also have to participate in discussion board. Super easy class as long as you pay attention and study.

I am almost finished with this class and I would highly recommend this instructor. She is easy going and very helpful with questions. The content is a little tough, so do your homework and you will be fine.

Online physical science is the best way for busy students to get their lab science credit. This class was very well organized. There is a lot of reading because it is online, but the directions are very clear. Homework, labs and discussion boards each week. I enjoyed the class and would highly recommend Lori.

PHSC2151 I would highly recommend Professor Mayberry as an instructor. I took this class online in the summer and found it to be very straight forward. The directions were clear and she was very quick to respond when I sent her questions through email. (I asked alot of questions and she responded all hours of the day & night!)

I was concerned about taking this class after seeing a few bad rating, but I think the course was great! The activies were easy to follow and Mrs. Mayberry responded fast to all my email questions. (I sent her several questions.)

Good class. Three major assignments make up your grade. They get harder and worth more points. I loved doing the hands on experiments! She was helpful with my email questions.

The experiments were fun and my kids helped out too. We learned about heart beats and friction. 3 quizzes and 3 main experiments.

This class in 8 weeks was fast! Lots of work each week, but makes sense because it is only 8 weeks. I liked the 2nd half better than the first. Professor Mayberry was quick to answer all my questions through email. I would recommend her, but only take the 8 week class if you have plenty of time, if not, take the 16 week class.

Taking an online lab science in 8 weeks is alot of work, but it wasnt as bad as I thought it would be. The course is easy to follow and the weekly deadlines allowed me to set my own schedule each week. I even went on a short vacation one week.

ms. mayberry cared about the students in my class and did everything she could to ensure that you grasped the material and passed her class. if you struggle with math, take her. youll get it in no time!

I only gave her a level 3 difficulty bc it was only for the second half of the semester. She is a great teacher. She really helps you understand the material and she stretches you to be better. Go to class! In class quizzes and assignments that help your grade!

This class was only 4 weeks long. The first week had 2 discussion board posts and 3 quizzes. The other 3 weeks all included 2 discussion board posts and 1 major experiment. Get ready because the experiments took more time and got a bit harder. (My kids had fun helping out with the ice cream experiment!)

I took this online 8-week class and it was a good choice! Not too heavy of work. We had weekly assignments with group labs. For these you will communicate with other students and have to set your own weekly due dates with each other, but it is well manageable. Not very many tests, and no recorded lockdown browser as well! Definitely take this class

I took this class online and it moved fast. The good news was that it was over in 8 weeks. Everything on the site was very organized and easy to find. I really liked the checklist she provides to make sure you get all the assignments done each week. I would highly recommend this class if you don't have time to be on campus for labs.

The Nature of Science was a super quick and easy class. I took it in an online 4-week format. There was a lab every week, but they were fairly easy. She is an easy grader as long as you do what is expected. Her rubrics are very clear and easy to understand. There were no exams for this course. I never had to reach out to her for anything either!
