this teacher is actually really good. she is hard but she is really not that bad if you give her a chance. she expects you to work hard to get a good grade but i learned more in this class than i did through high schoool. she really good!!!

Mrs. Prudom is not all that bad. I usually struggle with math but she made it really easy for me to understand. As long as you do the homework and be prepared for pop quizes you will do fine. She also gives 5 extra points on a test if you have perfect attendance.

explains items very well. you just have to do the homework, attend class, ask questions when needed. when your in college you have to understand that teachers are no longer holding your hand. they will help you, but youve got to do some things on your own!

She is wonderful. She gives many in class examples and has given me a different perspective in regards to the subject of math. I have begun to believe I can instead of I can't.

class was really hard,but what do you expect it's trig. not retarded algebra. She teaches the class well and as long as you go to class and do the homework you get an A only 7 out of 34 passed,but thats because the other 27 never went to class

First things first, if you need to take higher math, Prudon will make sure you know your very important trig, which will be VERY useful. Mrs.Prudom makes math easy. She works hard to make it understandable and is always available if you need her. I have always struggled with math and she has helped me to overcome my fears.

I quite enjoyed Ms. Prudom's class. As someone who HATES math, she made the classroom environment welcoming and fun. She was always willing to answer any questions. She expects nothing more than for you to do your work, which isnt really that much to expect. Though I still dont enjoy math, i found myself wishing i could take another class with her.

Made me feel good about math. Take all the notes, show up (on time), and the class is easy. Definitely do the homework. She'll help you get through the class as long as you're willing to at least try to do the work.

I really enjoyed this class.I have never been good at math but she helped me and I made it through. She is really not that hard... Just do not miss class because you can not make up tests but other then that you should take this class

I took her this semester and she was very helpful and if you listen and do as she asked what she stated at the begining of the semester is true I walked out with an A. It is simple do your work everyday practice and see her if you need help she is there for you as long as you are willing to do the work.

Mrs. Prudom is a hard teacher. There is no denying that fact that she wants to challenge her students, even in sometimes seemingly cruel ways. However, she has made me understand and learn math over and over again. She really understands what she wants you to acheive in her class and she will push you to that point. Don't take for an easy A.

There are 2 kinds of teachers at TCC: those you should take if you are an Engineering/Math major and those you should take if you are a Biology major. If you need a good base in Math, then I recommend Mrs Prudom. She is hard but there is a method to her madness. She only insists on material that is needed for higher level Math classes.

I hate math, I am an English major. I have failed both previous math courses in college.. Mrs. Prudom helped me to get my FIRST A in a math course EVER! She is sweet and if you do the work, she WILL help you with whatever you need. For all those who say she wants you to fail, you are ignorant; this is THE BEST math professor out there.. TAKE HER!

BEST MATH PROFESSOR EVER! Math has never been my best subject but Professor Prudom made it easy. She is very organized and explains the material very well. Would recommend to ANYONE! :)

Moves quickly but wont go further than what you understand if you ask questions. Office is always open for extra help. Can be sarcastic at times, but keeps a good sense of humor. If you do not do homework she has no pity for you. Gives chances to earn extra points, loves class participation.

Great teacher, will give one-on-one instruction, never deviates from the material. Offers extra points for those who actually show up and try. Anyone who complains about her just shouldn't be in college.

As a student who is horrible with math, I loved this teacher. She teaches in a way that makes it easy to understand if you are not a math person. She is strict, but fair. Be on time, follow the rules, and be respectful, and you'll get along just fine with her.

Before I took Ms. Prodom I hated math and had never received anything higer than a C, but she is a great teacher. She explains thing very well and is very clear about what you need to study and what will be on the test. as long as you go to class and do your mathlab hw you will do fine I made an A

Ms Prudom is a very good teacher and is passionate about her job! She is strict on her policies so read your syllabus. She is very avaialble to help and keeps the class engaged. I would definately take her again.

Have taken her twice, awesome teacher, is passionate about students' actually learning the material, gives extra credit for good quiz and HW grades, is always open to help, but she'll stand her ground if she feels disrespected or if someone is acting like a hard-ass. TAKE HER, SHE RULES. Just turn your cellphone off or she takes it.

Mrs. Prudom is a great teacher...if you do your work. She will not help you if she knows that you are not doing your homework or taking notes. In order to receive a good grade in her class you need to attend class and pay attention. DO NOT GET BEHIND ON HOMEWORK/QUIZZES ON COURSECOMPASS!

Took for calc 1, and easily the most difficult teacher I've had (beat Physics by a ways). She's also one of the best teachers I've had, and if you put in the work you'll be very sure to learn the material. If you don't need to go into higher math, don't take her. If you're taking Calc 2 and Calc 3, taking her will prep you for the harder courses.

Great teacher! She will readily help if knows you attend class and take notes. Tough course during Summer A or B sessions, and made a B after a lot of study.

She doesn't deserve her bad rating. She's not the best teacher in the world, but she's still a good teacher. She explains it all very clearly, but is tough on grading and expects you to do your best. Also, if you're good at math and can teach yourself just from doing the homework, she says you don't have to show up until the tests, which is cool.

Don't let negative posts scare you away from Mrs. Prudom. Yes she is tough, but she is not unreasonable. She truly cares about her students and wants them to do well. If you truly want to learn calculus, I recommend taking her class.

I'll be the first to admit that she's rather difficult and very strict on what she requires. Even considering my accolades in previous mathematics, in the beginning, it was slightly overbearing. But when you get past that, she was the best professor I'd ever had, hands down. Always there to help and push if you wanted to excel. Always fair.

Mrs. Prudom is exceptionally helpful if you first help yourself. If you skip class and then want extra help, she will not help you. However, if you come to class and interact, she is the most helpful teacher ever. Her class is NOT an easy A, but you WILL learn. I am a crappy math student and got an A because of regular attendance and hard work.

I adored Mrs. Prudom! Ignore the harsh reviews on here. She is tough but she gets the job done. I have always hated math and have had to work really hard to understand it, but she makes it easy to understand. She will tell you, show up and do your homework and you'll easily pass and it's true.

Very strict, no nonsense. Don't mess with Mrs. Prudom. Just follow the rules, don't pick fights with her, and stay on her good side. A lot of people struggled with this class because they didn't try hard enough to keep up. Come on, it's the lowest level of mathematics offered here. Leave your attitude at home and show up ready to learn.

She's very tough, but if she can tell that you are really trying, she'll help you. Extra credit is given only on tests, and can have a lot to do with attendance. She doesn't like rudeness, or being second guessed. Come to class everyday, on time, and pay attention. She'll have no problem with you.

Professor Prudom is amazing. First math class I have ever received an A in. Whenever I had questions she was more than willing to help me out in her office or after class. She Is more than willing to help if you are a hard worker and show you care, and are there taking notes and listening. If you arent a hard worker, dont take her.

Professor Prudom is amazing! She is the most helpful professor I've had a TCC yet. I took her express class online and although it was a lot of material, she doesn't hesitate to help you with ANY questions you may have. Didn't have to purchase anything (books, etc.). She is very organized! Just study the homework and notes and you will pass!

Don't listen to other review about Prof. Prudom. The people who are complaining are the ones who took this class expecting an easy A. She is not there to collect a pay check at all. She is kind of hard to get in touch with but once you get in touch with her she is more than willing to help. She is for sure one of the better math teachers i have had

Professor Purdom was a wonderful professor for MGF1106, despite being out of her own comfort zone with Zoom teaching. She made it known on the first day that it was important to ask questions, do the homework, and be consistent in practicing the math gone over every day, weekends. I personally learned a lot from her class and would take her again.
