She'll force you to understand math. She got upset when the class didn't answer her question & stood there until someone did. She wants you to learn. Her test grading style is a bit funny, you better hope she's in a good mood when grading your test!

Lopes is a great math teacher, she is a perfectionist when it comes to the steps. She has a great attitude that makes you want to attend class and learn each day. Shes the best teacher that I have ever taken. She helps you understand.

She teaches math problems step by step. She gets a little crazy if you don't answer her questions correctly. She is a good math teacher that know her subject very well. She does get sick a lot and misses classes. Her tests are a little tough.

Ms. Lopez is always helpful and slows down if you have a question about anything. She explains it again and again until you get it. She will nt move on until she is certain that everyone understood. At the end of each example she asks, "Did everyone get that, Are there any questions?" I never cared for math, but now I find it fun.

Mrs. Lopez is a great professor for remedial students. She's extremely patient and interesting and will work with you until you understand. She's great and will get you to where you need to be. I will strongly recommend her.

I'm a graduate student & math doesnt come easy for me (I avoided taking this class). She was extremely patient & helpful & concerned about everyone's progress. Her grading and dropping of an exam is very helpful. I came out with an A. Thats only happened in a math class once before in my life. Awesome teacher! She wont move on till youve learned it

I took this teacher for 3 consecutive semesters. I finally passed her class with an A the 3rd time I took the class. She is the sweetest, most caring teacher I have ever met. Even though I am in Math 0303 now, she still does everything she can to help me. She really is one of a kind. I would definitely recommend her. She is an A+ teacher!!!

awesome teacher. i think it's a shame she isn't teaching more classes because of another job. only 8-12 questions on the tests so no room for error. i understand math for the first time thanks to her. everyone needs a positive attitude like hers. she is entertaining and enthusiastic. wish she was teaching 303 and 1314 in the spring.

I love her!!! She should be cloned. I am not great at math at all, and I was able to make a high B without outside tudors. Take notes, study and you dont even need the book. math was my nightmare, but after taking her, my prospect changed towards math. she made it so easy for me and i got an a in her class. i think after taking her class i've felt more confident in this course. if you really want to learn you should take her, i recommend.

OMG!! I am only mid semester but this teacher is amazing she is so good. she makes me want to major in math. I hated math before i took this class she has no homwork only grades are on tests but she will make sure everyone in the class understands. Explains everything clearly. I recomend you take her. Ms. Lopez is by far the greatest math professor at SAC. I didn't even need the expensive book- she gives you handouts for every single section and puts it into english for you. Study the class problems, pass the tests. It bothers her if you don't understand, so she won't move on until you do. She is wonderful at explaining everything, and gorgeous.

It's been awhile since I was in her class,I had her in like 2002 for 300,this might sound funny,but I withdrew from her class,not because she wasn't a good instructor,she's extremly awesome in her teaching skills and very direct,but with an instructor that hot,I had no choice but to withdraw,lol,but I higly recommend her,she truly truly rocks!

You have to be on top of things especially since its online. If you don't understand something you can call or email her, she's willing to make arrangements to meet to help you out. Quiz online are somewhat similar to test. Give BONUS on test! :)

Professor Lopez is really sweet. I would suggest taking this at the school, just because it is very difficult online, but she is extremely helpful!!!! If you are going to take a class for math and its not college algebra take this one!

The first week of school we were ALL scared.The class size was a little over 20 & the next week it dropped to 10!The lady is bipolar!But she ended up being real fun(still bipolar at times)Everyone who's left in my class loves it & we all want to take her next semester. She made sure we understood everything before she went on to the next section.

Took her for math 0302. At first, it seemed as if she was going to be a hard teacher to deal with. But she is actually very helpful! She doesn't just tell you the formulas and what not, she takes her time to explain how the formulas and rules of math go. Excellent teacher to take! Very clear teaching! The book is not required!

If you don't pass Ms.Lopez's class thats on YOU. She breaks it down like no other teacher. I barely did homework (not graded) because she explained everything crystal clear. I can't stress this enough, take this professor and pass the first time. Didn't even use the book, don't waste your money on it.

Ms. Lopez is a wonderful teacher and will tell you that her job is to teach and that she does it well. In all my years of study, Ms. Lopez is without a doubt one of my top ten instructors. If your not good at Math, then she is the best teacher for you. She is not a push over, you'll have to do the work but if your willing she's your best bet.

I would highly recommend her. She is very helpful and easy. She answers all questions and breaks it down for you until you understand the material. There are some online quizzes that you take but they only have about 5-10 questions. I would've gotten an A if I didn't forget about the online quizzes but I would take her class again if I could.

I've had Ms. Lopez three times and she is the best Math teacher you're going to find at SAC. Just do the work, do the homework, take the quizzes and practice test and you should be fine.

I would highly recommend this teacher to anyone. Very friendly, very helpful, and deeply passionate about math. She doesn't just teach the material, she makes sure you actually learn it before moving on. Very lenient about attendance, but you should defiantly should up to avoid falling behind. It's almost impossible to get below a C in her class.

Ms Lopez is a natural! I took her MATH 0310 during the summer and made an A. She is very organized and makes it very easy. I have always struggled with math but by the end of the course I was actually doing it. Not too much work, very great class and AWESOME teacher!!!!

I had her for remedial also, the only reason I didn't review is b/c I am greedy and didn't want to share how great she was until I got through algebra. THE BEST CLASS YOU WILL EVER TAKE. She really makes sure you understand. No questions are stupid. Register early. Lots of extra credit is avaiable. Do the work and you will ace this class.

Hands down the best instructor I have ever had. She is the math whisperer. I am TERRIBLE at math, always have been. Mrs. Lopez somehow presented the material in such a way I not only understood it, but actually excelled in the class. Further, even though I took her class six years ago, she wrote a grad school reference letter for me. PHENOMENAL!

Math, of any kind, is my least favorite subject. Ms. Lopez made it the one class I looked forward to this semester. The work is tough, but she'll walk you through it step by step. She's great about responding to your emails, texts. She's got great energy. She's fair. Do your work, and you'll succeed.

Her lectures are super easy to understand. You have to work thru my math lab. All test are in classroom timed but not over whelming. She is super easy going and total professional. Can tell she has a passion for teaching.

GREAT TEACHER! I really wish I would have taken her for all math courses. She is very clear in explaining the material. She is very willing to help if you need it. Most work is online through math labs (lil expensive for web access, but all math classes requires it now). TAKE HER! I absolutely HATE MATH, but was happy to sit through her class!

If you're struggling with college algebra and it's not required definitely take 1332! Passed with an easy A+. If you already know some basic math this class will definitely be easy. Really takes her time explaining the material when people have questions which could be a bit annoying since the material isn't hard. All exams were online, 2 attempts.

Self taught class, expect 90 % of pie to be done. Will give help if asked. Does not come to you, you go to her. Self taught program aleks used which she swears by it, its difficult and expects alot out of you since she assisted with the program aleks. She is very nice but would have loved to take this class outside of using aleks. Programs hard.

Strap in and get ready to go for two hours when you get to class. She doesn't take scheduled breaks, but isn't offended if you have to step out for a minute or two. Willing to work with students who are struggling with the material. FANTASTIC teacher!

She is more than willing to help you out, work is done online, and the grades are based off of weekly quizzes and the exams we have throughout the semester. HW is given but not graded just for practice.

I struggle with math and was ready to give up, but LL would not let me. She kept me motivated every time I walked in her class. I finished 0420-0220. I am now in her 1314 class. Great Prof.

Do yourself a favor and sign up for math 1314 with mrs Lopez. She makes every class fun, with how out going and loud she is. I hated math, but passed with a 99 overall grade.

I enjoyed Taking Ms. Lopez's online math course as she even took time to hold physical meetings if people needed help with the material. We even exchanged our pets pictures when she first introduced herself via e-mail to the class. The course was easy as it was liberal arts but I'm glad she made herself available.
