Dr. Kato's teaching methods really helped me understand the material. She give you the lecture handouts, she lectures with powerpoint slides, and gives you real life examples to understand the material. She really wants you to succeed and she reviews for every exam with study guides. TAKE HER FOR ALL PSYCHOLOGY CLASSES! SHE IS AWESOME!!!

I took this class online in spring 2014. This class is an easy A, but you have to really do the worksheets & you must be willing to put the time in to really pay attention to lectures. Professor Kato has the best teaching skills, she makes sure she explains really well. She also Instantly replies to emails as well, definitely recommended.

Probably one of the easiest and most interesting classes ive taken in college. She goes over the material in a packet for the exams, and all you have to do is study. There are 4 exams and 1 paper. If you have an A in the class after the last exam youre excused from the final.

I took her online Psych class for Fall 2018. Very clear and organized. She lets you retake one exam towards the end of the class-the one you did the worst on. I did not need to use the retake option. Her class is very straight forward, do the activity worksheets while you listen to the online voice lectures and you should definitely do well.

Took the eight week online course and it was very easy. All you have to do is read the text book and go over the activity sheets, you don't even have to write the answers down to it just as long as you know the material by head. Online accelerated Psych 3 class. 8 discussions (very simple), 4 tests (85% multiple choice). Not only is this class easy to keep up with, but the work isn't hard, and the professor is really just amazing. Online lectures that she records and posts, just awesome. Amazing feedback and you should have no problems passing this class.

Hands down one of the best online teacher you can ever take. She is caring, and is aways there to help if you are having a hard time. She responds to email right away. Listen to the lecture and do the worksheet because her test are base off her worksheets, If you do both you will pass.

Professor Kato was a great teacher for Personal & Social Development. If you do the reading and the activity sheets, you should have no problem passing the chapter quizzes and exams. Of all the psychology professors I've had she has been my favorite and inspired me the most. However, she'll let you make up a test you did bad on during the last week of school to better your grade. Overall, I enjoyed taking this class and would highly recommend it to others. Fill-in-the-blank study guides were provided for each chapter. There was an option to re-take one exam at the end of the course. The lectures were helpful with understanding the material.

Would highly recommend taking a class with Professor Kato. Her lectures are exactly what was overall on the tests. We also were given study guides for the tests. Very clear grading criteria she is alway available for assistance if you need it before a due date. We had 4 tests one research paper and a final. You will be excused if you have an A.

If you need to take an introductory Psych class, then this professor is perfect :D!! Professor Kato has lectures that are easy to follow and provides notes :). She is so friendly and gives wonderful feedback :)! She is very kind and caring towards students with learning difficulties :>. I would definitely take her class again in the future!

Amazing teacher. She wants you to succeed and gives random extra credit points just to showing up to class. Highly recommend!

8-week online course. Each week, there was an activity sheet to complete with prerecorded lectures. After completing them, you must respond to the discussion board question on which you are graded. The activity sheets are helpful because the content they cover forms the basis for exams, but they are not required to be submitted.
